A Duel to the Death
At the Hell Palace, Barbarus groans as he limps back inside to the main hall, where Desolous, Talon and Vendettor are all waiting. "So I take it the Deus Triumvirate did not accept the offer." Desolous says. Barbarus shakes his head. "No my lord." he says. Desolous scoffs. "That's disappointing." he says. "Well,' we will just have to carry on without them." He walks off, sounding disappointed. Barbarus looks after him.
As Desolous disappears, Talon begins laughing to herself. Barbarus turns around. "Is there something you find funny Talon?" he asks, almost threateningly. "Oh nothing." Talon says. "Its just I would think that as Lord Desolous' number one general and second-in-command you would have put up a better fight against those guys!" "Are you saying I'm weak?!" Barbarus asks angrily. "You'd better remember who you're talking to!" Talon laughs again. "I never said that!" she says. "But if that's the best you can do, perhaps new leadership is needed around here! Just saying. I mean you can't even beat the Red Ranger after all." She laughs again as she walks off, and Vendettor follows her.
Barbarus clenches his fist in fury. "How dare she question my strength?!" he says. "I'm stronger than both her and Vendettor and I'll prove it! I'll crush that Red Ranger myself if it's the last thing I do!" He growls again and walks off in a huff.
Its late at night at Chris' apartment as he's sleeping. He's sweating as he sleeps and keeps tossing and turning in his bed as he sleeps. He begins having a dream.
As Chris dreams, he has memories of him and Elisa when she was still alive, remembering a time when they were at the beach, having a picnic and playing in the water, the two laughing playfully.
Chris smiles as he keeps dreaming.
Chris and Elisa are standing at the beach, holding hands and smiling at each other as they look in each other's eyes.
Chris turns over in his bed again, this time rolling out of his bed and hitting the ground as he falls out of it. He wakes up with a start as he screams, looking around before seeing that he was dreaming. He starts breathing heavily as he feels his head and then leans his head back on his bed, crying softly as tears stream down his face.
At the Hell Palace, Barbarus is watching a recording of when he was defeated by Chris in their last fight before he retreated. He growls as he shuts the recording off. "The Red Ranger simply caught me off-guard last time!" he said. "This time he won't be so lucky!" He turns around and looks down from a balcony, beholding a fighting-ring with a wall made of spikes. "I'll force the Red Ranger into a Death Ring Battle!" he says.
As Barbarus speaks, he fantasizes about facing Chris in the Death Ring. "I'll face the Red Ranger on my personal field!" he says. "He'll have no one to help him and he'll be powerless to stop me!" In Barbarus' fantasy, Chris is shown being thrown against one of the spikes, being electrocuted on contact with the spikes. Barbarus hits him with an energy blast to hit him, and after taking the hit, an exhausted Chris drops out of Morph and falls on his side, defeated. Barbarus laughs victoriously.
Barbarus snaps back. "And once I take out the Red Ranger," he says, "no one will ever question my strength as a warrior and general again!" He laughs to himself. "Now all I need is someone to keep the other Rangers distracted! I must work fast!" He turns around and walks off.
At Howlett Manor, the Rangers are in the backyard, training. Adrian and Allison are working together, as are Nicole and Bryan, while Chris is practicing his martial arts by himself. Nathan is watching them from a distance.
Chris is keeping his distance from the other Rangers as he's practicing on a punching bag, clearly hitting it a little too hard. As Nicole and Bryan finish their practice session, Nicole turns around to see Chris practicing, looking on with a bit concern. She walks over to Chris.
"Hey Chris." she says, tapping his shoulder. Chris jumps in shock as he turns around, causing Nicole to also gasp as she backs up. Chris sighs. "Sorry." he says. "Didn't see you." "Its okay." Nicole says, nodding as she looks concerned. "What do you want?" Chris asks. "Well training is almost over for the day." Nicole says. "Bryan's got a date, but the rest of us were going to a movie and grab dinner. Want to come?" "Oh." Chris says, still gasping a little bit for breath. Then he shakes his head. "No I'm good." he says. "I got some stuff I need to do tonight." "You sure?" Nicole asks. Chris nods. "Yeah." he says. "Have a good time." "Okay." Nicole says. "Be careful." She turns around and walks away, while Chris turns around and leans on the punching bag, sighing.
As the other Rangers leave, Nathan walks over to Chris. "Chris." he says. Chris looks up. "Yes Nathan?" he asks. "Is something wrong man?" Nathan asks. "You've been silent all day? Not to mention you just brushed the others off. Has something happened?" Chris shakes his head. "No." he says. "I'm fine. Really. I just want to be alone!" "Are you sure?" Nathan asks. "We can talk if need be." "I said I'm fine!" Chris snaps. "Please just let me be alone!" Nathan backs up. "Okay." he says. "Cool man. Just let me know if you need help." He turns around and walks away, leaving Chris to sigh again as he takes off his training jacket and leans against the punching bag. "I don't need anyone's help!" he says to himself.
At the Hell Palace, Barbarus is meeting with a massive, hulking, red-orange-colored cricket monster, who is carrying a large axe. "Now listen up!" Barbarus says. "I am on a personal mission to destroy the Red Ranger! Your job, Grylleptox, is to keep the other Rangers distracted while I complete my mission! Do you understand?!" Grylleptox nods. "Yes General Barbarus!" he says, speaking in a gruff voice. "My mission is to obey what you tell me!" Barbarus nods. "Excellent!" he says. "There's a soldier who knows his place!" As he and Grylleptox are talking, Talon is watching them both from a distance. "You attack once I have the Red Ranger where I want him!" he says.
Chris walks out of a store in the city with a bag in his hand and is walking through the streets, seeing multiple couples who appear to be enjoying themselves. He sighs sadly as he keeps walking. He walks up to his car, a 2018 Red Honda Accord, and gets in, driving off.
As Chris is driving home, he drives past a rocky beach. He sighs again, but as he's about to round a curve, a series of energy blasts come out of nowhere and hit the ground all around him. Taken by surprise, Chris gasps as his car spins out of control and he veers right. Braking hard, Chris brings his car to a stop on the side of the road in the beach, and quickly gets out of his car, looking around.
Chris sees nothing, and keeps looking in confusion when another series of energy blasts hit the ground near him again. Chris groans as the force of the blasts blow him away and knock him on his back. "What in the world?" he says.
As Chris struggles to get up, Barbarus walks up. "Welcome Red Ranger!" he says. "Nice of you to join me!" Chris gasps as he turns around, then holds his fists up. "Barbarus!" he says. Barbarus laughs. "Glad to see you remember me!" he says. "What do you want?" Chris asks. "Nothing too much!" Barbarus says. "Only to destroy you!" He points his arm forward again and shoots a blast of energy at Chris, who flips out of the way.
Before Chris can do anything else, Barbarus charges at him with his sword. Chris quickly dodges several slashes from Barbarus. Moving fast, he dodges another attack as Barbarus brings his sword down, and Chris kicks Barbarus in the chest, causing him to stumble back. Chris then jabs at Barbarus several times, but Barbarus is unaffected as he takes the hit, and he slashes down at Chris again. Chris dodges and grabs Barbarus' hands as if trying to wrestle his sword away from him. Barbarus laughs as Chris' efforts are futile and he headbutts Chris, causing him to stumble back. Barbarus slashes again, but Chris ducks the blow and then pushes forward, tackling Barbarus and grabbing him by his shoulders. He tries to bring Barbarus down, but Barbarus fights back and shakes off the tackle. As Chris releases, Barbarus brings his foot up and kicks Chris in the stomach, knocking him back.
Chris clutches his stomach in pain and quickly holds up his Morpher, as if readying to call the other Rangers. Barbarus laughs. "Oh!" Barbarus says. "You're going to call your little friends for help?! Can't beat me by yourself huh?! So disappointing!" Chris gets to his feet. "Especially for your loved one!" Barbarus says. Chris lowers his Morpher, his eyes widening with shock at what Barbarus just said. "Oh I'm sorry! Too soon?!" Barbarus says. "Just thought that as a real fighter, you'd want to defeat the guy who killed your loved one yourself! Revenge right?!" Chris' eyes widen more, this time rage, his fists clenched with fury. Barbarus laughs. "Excellent!" he says.
"Fine!" Chris says angrily. "Have it your way! I don't need the other Rangers! I'll beat you myself!" Barbarus laughs. Chris holds up his Millennium Disc. "Millennium Power!" he says, inserting it into the slot and locking it in. "Fire Charge!" his Morpher announces. "Total Access!" Chris calls out as he hits the activation switch. Chris' Morphing Sequence is shown in full as he Morphs.
As Chris is Morphed, he quickly draws his Millennium Blaster and shifts it to Blade Mode. "Millennium Blaster!" he says. "Blade Mode!"
Both Chris and Barbarus grunt as they hold up their weapons, facing off as they stand a few feet from each other. They stare at each other briefly before Barbarus breaks the silence. "Let's have at it!" he says. "Gladly!" Chris says, and the two growl as they charge at each other.
As Chris and Barbarus engage in close combat, they exchange multiple slashes, matching slash-for-slash. After several attacks, the two slash at each other's shoulders, and both grab the other's blades on their shoulder. Now locked together, the two struggle around as they try to hold back the other's attacks, groaning heavily. The two's defenses finally let up and the attacks land on both of them, causing the two to stumble backwards and clutch their shoulders in pain. The two look at each other.
Seeing an opening, Chris shifts his Millennium Blaster back to Blaster Mode and aims it at Barbarus. "Blaster!" he says. "Fire!" He fires multiple blaster bolts at Barbarus, who takes the hits and gets knocked off his feet. Chris then shifts his Millennium Blaster back to Blade Mode and rushes right to Barbarus, holding his blade at Barbarus' throat. Barbarus groans. "Looks like I've got you!" Chris says confidently. Babarus scoffs and holds his left hand up, firing an energy blast, which hits Chris in his chest, knocking him backwards. Chris falls on his back, and his Millennium Blaster is sent flying out of his hand, landing on the ground too far out of his reach. Chuckling, Barbarus gets to his feet and holds up his left hand, snapping his fingers.
As Chris struggles to get up, energy crackles in a narrow oval-shape around him and Barbarus as the spike-walls of the Death Ring suddenly appear around them. Chris gasps as the walls appear around them, and he gets to his feet. "No Red Ranger!" Barbarus says. "I got you!"
"What's this?!" Chris says, and he runs at the spikes and get through. But upon contact with the wall, his body is electrocuted and he groans as he falls on his back. Barbarus laughs. "Welcome to a Death Ring Battle Red Ranger!" he says. "Death Ring Battle?" Chris asks as he gets back to his feet. "Yes!" Barbarus says. "You cannot leave this ring until the battle is over, unless you want to be destroyed! And it will only end once one of us is destroyed!" "What?!" Chris says. Barbarus laughs. "That's right!" he says. "Your friends can't help you now! Not that they'll even have a chance!"
In the city, Grylleptox and a horde of Arachnodrones enter the city, civilians running away in terror. "Alright Rangers!" Grylleptox laughs. "Come out, come out wherever you are!"
At Howlett Manor, the alarm goes off. As Grylleptox appears on Ayumi's computer, she quickly moves to contact the Rangers. "Ranges!" she says. "The Daemonium is attacking the city at the central civic area!"
Leaving a restaurant, Nicole, Adrian and Allison all hear Ayumi's transmission and they all nod, running off.
Bryan is leaving his date at her house, and quickly drives off in his Jeep.
The four Rangers all come together and unite as they stand against Grylleptox. "That's far enough Daemonium!" Nicole says. Grylleptox and his forces stop in their tracks. "Rangers!" Grylleptox says. "Nice of you to join the party!"
As the four Rangers stand against the monster, Bryan looks around. "Where's Chris?" he asks. "I don't know." Allison says. "Well there's no time to find him." Nicole says. "Let's go guys!" The other three nod.
Nicole holds up her Millennium Disc at the ready. "Ready?!" she says. The others hold up theirs at the ready as well. "Ready!" they respond. "Millennium Power!" the Rangers call out, inserting their Millennium Discs into their Morphers. "Earth Charge!" "Air Charge!" "Water Charge!" "Stone Charge!" their Morphers announce. "Total Access!" the Rangers call out as they hit the activation switches. The four Rangers' Morphing Sequences are shown in full as they Morph.
As the Rangers Morph, the quickly summon their Millennium Power Weapons. Grylleptox chuckles, then points forward. "Get them!" he commands to the Arachnodrones, and they charge forward, the Rangers charge forward and engage the Arachnodrones.
Allison flips forward as she dodges an attack from two Arachnodrones, and now standing in the middle of a small horde, she blocks several blows with her Hydro Shield, slashing back her attackers, then she tosses her Hydro Shield at one Arachnodrone and it spins around like a boomerang, striking down several Arachnodrones. Then she catches her weapon and strikes down a few more Arachnodrones with some swift moves.
Bryan blocks several blows with his Boulder Blades, and slashes down each of his attackers with swift jabs. He takes down four Arachnodrones before jumping forward and kicking several Arachnodrones down. Then, standing in place, he slashes down five more Arachnodrones as they attack him, then kicks another one, knocking it away.
Adrian quickly jumps forward, and gliding toward a horde of Arachnodrones, he holds his arms out and slashes down several Arachnodrones around him with his Aero Sword. Then as he lands, he moves forward, with his left hand behind his back, slashing down several Arachnodrones one-by-one. He blocks a blow from another one, then slashes it down.
Nicole extends her Earthquake Hammer and swings it around from its chain multiple times defensively to fend off attacks from Arachnodrones. Then she goes on the offense, striking down several Arachnodrones with her mace before using the chain to grapple one Arachnodrone and swing it around, using its body to knock down several more Arachnodrones before releasing it and sending it flying through the air before knocking down more Arachnodrones as it lands.
At Howlett Manor, Ayumi and Nathan are watching the Rangers fight the Arachnodrones. "Wait." Nathan says. "Where's Chris?" Ayumi shakes her head. "I've been trying to contact him." she says. "But something is jamming the signal on his Morpher. I can't even track him." "That's weird." Nathan says. "Keep looking." He looks away. "I hope Chris is okay." he says to himself.
Chris groans as Barbarus throws him up against one of the spikes and he's once again electrocuted on impact. Barbarus laughs as he rests his sword on his shoulder. "Give up yet Red Ranger?!" he asks. Chris clutches his shoulder as he gets up. "Not even close!" he says. He holds his right arm out as his Magma Rod appears. "Magma Rod!" he says, and brandishing it with both hands, he charges forward.
Chris and Barbarus engage in close combat, once again matching each other slash-for-slash. They force each other around and are able to match each other's strength as they keep attacking. Then they lock weapons, trying to wrestle for control as they struggle. Then Barbarus gains the upper hand, forcing Chris' weapon under his. Then he rams his right elbow into Chris' chest, causing him to stumble back. With a clear opening, Barbarus slashes Chris several times, causing him to drop his Magma Rod then Barbarus kicks him in the chest, sending him flying back and once again hitting the spikes.
Chris is electrocuted on impact and as he falls back to the ground, his suit vanishes as he drops out of Morph, gasping for breath as he clutches his shoulder. As Chris struggles to his knees, Barbarus laughs again. "Well, well, well!" he says. "Still want to keep fighting? You're cornered now Red Ranger!" As he says this, Chris clenches his fists in fury.
With the Arachnodrones defeated, the Rangers are now engaged in combat with Grylleptox. They all attack him one-by-one, but the hulking monster blocks every attack they throw at him and he slashes them down with his axe. Nicole flings her Earthquake Hammer at him, but he blocks the attack as it wraps around his sword. Grylleptox laughs and attemps to pull Nicole closer to him. The two struggle for control over each other until Grylleptox wins and flings Nicole over his head, sending her flying into a nearby wall as Grylleptox lets go of her weapon.
Nicole struggles to get up, clutching her shoulder. Then she holds her Morpher up. "Ayumi!" she says. "This monster is really tough! Where is Chris?!"
At Howlett Manor, Nicole appears on the screen of Ayumi's computer. "I've been trying to raise him." Nicole says. "But there's something jamming his Morphing signal. I can't find him or contact him!"
"We can't take much more of this though!" Nicole says. Then she looks forward, seeing Grylleptox knock both Adrian and Allison away. Bryan tackles and grabs the monster, but quickly gets pushed away and slashed down. "Guys!" Nicole says, and gets to her feet, charging back at the monster.
At Howlett Manor, Ayumi hears static and Nicole shuts off the communication. "This isn't good." she says. "Still no sign of Chris. What are we doing to do?" Nathan thinks for a second. "Contact Hikaru." he says at last. "Ask him to look for Chris on foot." Ayumi nods. "On it!" she says.
Hikaru has set up camp in the woods, resting on a log while dressed in his cloak. His Plasma Morpher goes off. He lowers his hood and holds his Morpher up to his mouth. "Yes Ayumi?" he says. "Dad!" Ayumi says over his Morpher. "Chris has disappeared and the other Rangers are fighting a monster attack. My computer signal can't track him! We need your help!" Hikaru nods. "My signal last located him near the northern beach just outside the city." Ayumi says. "Start there and try to scout around!" Hikaru nods. "I'm on my way!" he says, and he quickly gets up and runs off.
Chris gets to his feet and holds his Morpher up. He puts another Millennium Disc inside and hits the activation switch. "Millennium Power! Total Access!" he calls out. But nothing happens except the sound of shorting out electricity. Chris looks at his Morpher in disbelief, then tries to hit the activation switch again, but, again, nothing happens. Barbarus laughs. "Nice try Red Ranger!" he says. "But the energy field around the Death Ring blocks out the energy in your Morpher! Your fancy powers can't help you here!" Chris looks at Barbarus in terror.
"Blasters!" Nicole says as she and the other Rangers aim their Millennium Blasters at Grylleptox. "Fire!" The Rangers open fire at Grlleptox, but the blaster bolts just bounce helplessly against the massive monster. Unaffected, Grylleptox steps forward and sends an energy slash at the Rangers with his axe, which hits all four of them and sends them flying back. The Rangers all groan as they try to get up. "Everyone okay?" Nicole asks. "Yeah." Bryan says. "Think so." "What are we going to do?!" Allison says. "This guy is really tough!" "Where's Chris?!" Adrian says.
Back at the beach, Chris continues to struggle as he tackles Barbarus, the two now wrestling for control of his sword. As the two keep struggling, Hikaru runs up, viewing their fight from the top of a cliff just above them.
"Chris!" Hikaru whispers to himself. As he watches the fight, Chris continues to struggle against Barbarus, getting tossed around by him as he helplessly tries to defend himself. Hikaru draws his Plasma Defender, in Blaster Mode, and aims it Barbarus. He takes several shots at Barbarus, but they all bounce helplessly against the energy field surrounding the ring. Hikaru groans in frustration. "I can't help him like this!" he says. "He needs the other Rangers!" He turns around and rushes off, leaving Chris as he keeps struggling against Barbarus.
The Rangers keep struggling against Grylleptox as he slashes them all down and they fall on their feet. Grylleptox laughs. "Its over Rangers!" he says. He laughs again as he moves to finish the Rangers, but before he can, a series of blaster bolts hits him from the left. Caught off guard, the monster stumbles back. The Rangers look in the direction of the blaster bolts. "Huh?" Nicole says.
Hikaru approaches the fight, having now Morphed and his Plasma Defender aimed at Grylleptox. "Mr. Oshiro!" Nicole says as she and the other Rangers rush over to him. "You all okay?" Hikaru asks. The Rangers all nod. "Yeah." Adrian says. "Good to see you again!" Hikaru nods. "I found Chris!" he says. "He's at the beach just outside of the city! He needs your help! Better get going. I'll deal with the monster!" "Are you sure?" Allison asks. Hikaru nods. "I can handle things myself!" he says. "Get going!" "Right!" Nicole says. "Let's go!" The other Rangers rush away, leaving Hikaru to stand against Grylleptox.
Chris falls on his back, clutching his chest in pain as he tries to get to his feet. Barbarus laughs. "Any last words Red Ranger?!" he asks. Chris groans in pain as he tries to get up, but fails. Barbarus laughs again. "Chris!" Nicole's voice calls out. "Huh?" both Chris and Barbarus call out.
The other four Rangers ride up on the beach on their Beast Cycles, riding in a straight line side-by-side. On Nicole's cycle, the targeting sensors lock onto the Death Ring. "Fire!" she calls out, and all four of the Rangers' Beast Cycles all spew laser blasts from their laser cannons. But they all his helplessly against the energy field. The Rangers all stop their Cycles just a few feet away from the ring. "It's a force field!" Nicole says in frustration. She and the other Rangers dismount.
"Chris!" Nicole says, the Rangers stopping just a few feet away from the ring. Chris looks toward the other Rangers. "Guys!" he says. "Are you okay?" Adrian asks. Barbarus growls. "Stay out of this Rangers!" he says. "This is between me and the Red one!"
"Not a chance!" Bryan says and he tries to charge at the Death Ring, but is electrocuted as he makes contact with the spikes. He groans in pain as he retreats back. "Bryan!" Allison says, and she and Adrian move to pull him back. "Are you okay?" Bryan nods. "Yeah." he says. "How are we supposed to help Chris if we can't even get in?!" Adrian asks. Nicole looks down, thinking to herself for a minute. Then she looks back at Chris and steps forward.
"Chris!" she says, and Chris turns to look back at her. "Don't give up!" Nicole shouts to him. "You can do this! Remember who you're fighting for!"
Chris' eyes widen with shock as he hears Nicole's words. He looks down as he remembers Elisa smiling at him, and he returns a smile. Snapping back to reality, Chris turns back to Barbarus, who laughs evilly.
As Chris gets to his feet and stands off against Barbarus, Talon walks up to the edge of a nearby cliff, watching the fight with interest.
Chris clenches his fist and crying out, he charges forward. Barbarus slashes at Chris diagonally, but Chris quickly dodges the blow and grabs Barbarus' wrist that's clenching his sword. Shocked by Chris' strength, Barbarus gasps as Chris grasps his wrist tight. Suddenly, Chris' hand bursts into flames and Barbarus cries out in pain, dropping his sword and backing up. Then Chris shoots both his arms forward and a huge flame erupts from his hands. Barbarus gasps as he takes the hit and gets blown back, hitting the spike walls and getting electrocuted on impact. He groans as he struggles to get up. Chris lowers his hands and sighs in relief.
Still watching from a distance, Talon chuckles to herself. "So much for proving yourself!" she says. She holds her right hand forward and releases energy from it, which hits the Death Ring. As the energy makes impact, the Death Ring vanishes around Chris and Barbarus.
"Chris!" Nicole calls out, and the Rangers run over to Chris' side. "You okay?" Chris nods. "Yeah." he says. "I'm great! Thanks guys! That motivation was all that I needed! Thank you Nicole!" Nicole nods.
Barbarus growls as he gets to his feet. "Impossible!" he says. "How could your powers work in the energy field?!" "Seems you don't know how the Millennium works!" Nicole says as she steps forward. "Huh?" Barbarus says. "Our Millennium Power is derived from determination!" Nicole says. "Chris' Millennium Powers didn't work because he felt cornered and demoralized. Not because of your energy field! All he needed was a little more determination, and that gave him all the strength he needed to beat you!"
Barbarus growls in fury. "But how did the Death Ring disappear?!" he says. "One of us had to be destroyed!" Then he looks up, seeing Talon briefly before she walks away. Barbarus snarls. "Talon!" he says, then looks at the Rangers. He points toward Chris. "Don't think you've won yet Red Ranger!" he says. "I'll be back! And I'll destroy you if it's the last thing I do!" He growls one last time before holding his arms out and teleports away.
In the city, Hikaru and Grylleptox engage in close combat, exchanging multiple blows before Hikaru breaks through Grylleptox's defense and scores several fast slashes across the monster's chest, causing him to stumble backwards, gasping in pain. Hikaru shifts his Plasma Defender to Blaster Mode, and inserts a Millennium Disc into its slot. "Plasma Charge!" the Plasma Defender announces.
Hikaru holds up his Plasma Defender as it glows with energy to charge. "Plasma Defender!" he calls out. "Plasma Blast!" He aims his Plasma Defender forward as it locks onto Grylleptox, then pulls the trigger. A massive plasma bolt erupts from his Plasma Defender and hits Grylleptox, who groans in pain as he takes the hit. Hikaru lowers his Plasma Defender and watches as Grylleptox drop his axe, groaning in pain as he falls forward, vanishing in a fiery explosion. Hikaru nods at his victory.
Vendettor appears in a flash of energy, and Hikaru gasps as he appears. Vendettor walks up to Grylleptox's fallen body and draws his sword, which crackles with energy as it charges. Then he stabs Grylleptox in the stomach and takes his sword out. Grylleptox then gets to his feet, his body crackling with energy. Vendettor turns around and vanishes as he teleports away.
Grylleptox growls as he holds his arms out and the energy around him continues to crackle as he grows to a giant size, now wielding his axe again. Hikaru gasps as he looks up.
Still at the beach, the Rangers see Grylleptox in the city and all gasp at his site. "We got big trouble!" Adrian says. "Yeah!" Chris says. "Time to power up again!" He inserts a Millennium Disc into his Morpher. "Fire Charge!" his Morpher calls out. "Millennium Power!" Chris says. "Total Access!" He hits the activation switch and the final shot of his Morphing Sequence is shown as he Morphs.
After Chris Morphs, the Rangers hold up their Millennium Discs. "Millennium Beasts!" they all call out. "Arise!"
The five Millennium Beasts all rush toward the Rangers, who all jump forward to merge with their Millennium Beasts, arriving in their cockpits. Nicole then holds up the Megazord Disc and inserts it into her control pod. "Millennium Megazord Power!" she says.
The final shot of the Millennium Megazord sequence is shown, followed by the Rangers all arriving in the main cockpit, the Millennium Megazord posing at its completion.
The Millennium Megazord stands against Grylleptox, the two circling around briefly before charging at each other. The two engage in close combat, the Millennium Megazord able to dodge several attacks from Grylleptox's axe. As Grylleptox tries to attack from above, the Megazord grabs his axe by the shaft and stops the attack. It continues to grasp the monster's weapon and the two force each other around as they wrestle for control. The Megazord then scores a punch on Grylleptox's head, causing him to stumble back.
"Activate Millennium Saber!" Nicole calls out.
The Millennium Saber appears and the Megazord takes it up.
The Rangers insert their Millennium Discs into their control pods. "Millennium Power!" they call out.
The Millennium Megazord circles its Saber around, its Saber glowing with energy as the symbols of the five elements all appear around it.
"Full Power!" the Rangers call out. "Elemental Burst!"
As the Millennium Saber charges to full power, the Megazord slashes diagonally at Grylleptox. The attack lands and pierces through Grylleptox's body. The monster drops his axe and groans as he turns around, crying out as he falls forward and vanishes in a fiery explosion.
Having been watching the fight, Hikaru nods as he de-morphs. He smiles. "Good job Rangers!" he says.
The Millennium Megazord poses at its victory.
At the Hell Palace, Barbarus is meeting with Desolous in the throne room. "You were foolish to attack without my permission General!" Desolous scolds angrily. "Yes my Lord!" Barbarus says, kneeling before Desolous. "Our mission is to revive Lord Daemonium!" Desolous says. "That's our only mission right now! You are not to let your personal missions get in the way!" "Yes my Lord!" Barbarus says. "Your recklessness today cost us a valuable Hell Monster and even more valuable time in our mission!" Desolous says. "This type of action will not be tolerated again! The next time you do something without permission, I'll destroy you myself!" "Yes my Lord!" Barbarus says. "Good!" Desolous says. "Now get out of my sight!" Barbarus gets up and walks out of the throne room. Talon is just outside, having been listening in on the conversation. Barbarus snarls at her before he walks off, leaving her to laugh to herself.
As the sun begins to set, Chris walks up to Elisa's grave. He smiles as he sets a bundle of flowers just in front of it. He smiles sadly before looking up. Behind him, Nicole walks up. She puts her hand on his shoulder. "You okay?" she asks. Chris nods. "Yeah." he says. "I'm sorry I snapped at you guys." Nicole nods. "Its okay." she says. "Just be strong. Know we got your back!" Chris nods. "Sure thing!" he says. The two smile at each other. "We're going to catch a movie." Nicole says. "Want to come?" Chris looks behind her to see Adrian, Allison and Bryan. Chris smiles. "Sounds great!" he says. "Good!" Nicole says, and the two join the other Rangers, all of them walking toward Bryan's Jeep as we fade to black.
