CHAPTER 10: UNEXPECTED MEETING AND… WET MILKY BODY?!

Well after the ruthless training as always, the members of the basketball team could finally go home, as well as the Red soon to be King. Today, I *cough* the fourth wall! *cough* … let just say Akashi wants to walk home so he dismissed his chauffeur. As he walks, he doesn't take in the scenery around him like some the rich kids, what he does as usual cook up some schemes and think about a particular person.

'Why… Usually it's the other way around so why? Why I keep thinking about Tetsuya? Did his power have something to do with charisma? Or mind control?'

Seijuuro continues to unconsciously thinking deeply about the special being, so much that his legs lead him toward the deep forest just outside his property. As his legs continues to walk deeper and deeper into the dense forest, his surroundings slowly turn from the lustful green and beautiful wilderness into the dark deep wood where most people would be too scared to even dare to walk close.

'However, I never detected any trade of powers being used and what more how I could not see him?... Hmmm~?'

Finally, Akashi stops and takes notice the place he is standing. With an amused smile he thinks out loud

"Well well, I think the answers would reveal themselves soon."

Then, he walks even deeper toward the dark green abyss of the forest. He also takes in the strangeness of how eerie quiet and void of any kind of animals on his path. Anyway, he continues on and his special eyes show him the strange energy as well as the presence of animals gathering at the lake in the middle of this forest. A name pops in his mind of who the culprit is, a devilish smirk appears on his face

'Tetsuya~ I WILL have answers to my questions!'

With that determine, the red-head steps into a beautiful clearing, where trees, bushes so rich and green all surround a mirror like lake. The lake is so clear that you could see the marine's life in it and the ground under it, yet on the surface of that clear as sky lake there is none of any kind of leave or trashes making the lake appears even more heavenly. That's not all, almost all animals of the forest were there, all different species from herbivores to carnivores all exist in peace and harmony. None was preying on any things, just be there co-existing.

The scene would lefts anyone shocked, breathless and well Akashi is intriguing but not so much at the scene but more at the lack of reaction he usually gets when animals see him. Animals are known to have a special sense that human have lost in their evolution hundred thousand years ago, the animals could distingue beings that stronger than them, powerful than them and beings they should bow down. Akashi is the text book sample for all of those above, animals usually lower themselves whenever he is near and they could understand and obey every commands of his. Yet right now, their king is right near them but none was paying any mind toward the overwhelming power of his. They only focus on something in the middle of the unearthly lake, so natural Seijuuro looks up as well and for the first time in his 14 years' life, he is lost for words

In the lake, stand a slender figure whose back is facing the Red king. The figure slowly cups a handful of water and brings it up his shoulder and letting it freely trailing down his milky white body as his hand oh so slowly moves along his shoulder toward his slightly muscular bicep, continues to his arm and stops at his hand. Akashi's eyes dilate as they're taking all the actions in, his golden eye shines brightly like every times he used his power as it captures the sinful sight. Then boy in the lake turns slightly to the right making the enchanted king's eyes to move upward to see the face of this mystery boy. The first thing he notices is the teal hair like the summer sky then to the azure eyes, he almost slaps himself as he seriously forgot that he knew Tetsuya is here if not for his pride and iron self-control. The self-shocked teen wants to alert the other of his presence yet a small part of him want to stand there to watch and… and…

'What did I want?'

Not noticed the turmoil he is causing, Kuroko continues to bathe, with his wings are temperately sealed inside his back, to not get wet, wet feather wings are hard to dry and clean after all, the being lower himself even deeper into the lake till only his shoulder and head are visible. He cups his two hands together, scopes two hands full of water and puts it above his head to let it trickle down softly onto his head and face. Kuroko Tetsuya doesn't know that every movement of his have captured attention of everyone present in the clearing from insects, animals to the future king himself. The king eyes still haven't stopped looking at the face as he takes in how pale yet exquisite face, how long and artificial eyelashes that gently brush again his smooth cheeks to his cute button nose and his luscious, kissable lips that slightly part. Then his eyes go down to the unmarked delicate neck, to his slender shoulders but his show is cut short when a monotone yet pleasant voice speak

"Domo, Akashi-kun."

Akashi-kun quickly snaps out of his trace, schools his expression and looks into those two sky blue orbs.

"Hello Tetsuya. Can you answer me why are you…"

He trails off as even though he is the king but he still a healthy 14 years old teenager. But poor our young king, Kuroko who is as old as life itself, he's an immortal remember, is very, and I mean it, VERY pure, innocent and dense as a rock boy could not catch the unsaid words. With a slight tilt of his head, he asks

"Why am I what, Akashi-kun?"

With closed eyes and a deep breath, Akashi rephrases his question

"Are you… bathing here?"

"Oh! Yes, I am. Is there anything wrong?"

'…'

The red-head is speechless at the question that was fired at him. But then he remembers how old the being could be and the *cough* report *cough* from Taiga that Tetsuya doesn't have knowledge about phone

'Could it be…'

"Tetsuya… when did the last time you been down to earth?"

If he was surprised at the change of topic, he didn't show it as he calmly and truthfully answers back

"It should be around 17th or 18th century I think. I only stay for a few days then I went back to Olympus as I was needed there."

'Clearly answer a lots questions'

"Okay then why aren't you bathe in an apartment or hotel but here in the middle of the forest?"

Kuroko doesn't answer him immediately as he has a faraway look with a small tint of sadness in his eyes. Akashi's heart suddenly aches at the sight of the normally emotionless phantom.

"This forest… more like this clearing was my home."

"When you were a human."

Akashi states as Kuroko nods. Akashi silently looks at the small cracks on the emotionless mask of the phantom as he realizes something

"Tetsuya… answer me honestly. Did you come here to guide me like the others previous angels and devils?"

"… I supposed to…"

"… Did they choose you personally?"

"…I volunteered as they didn't know what to do."

"So, you use me as an excuse for visiting your old home and a trip to earth."

It's a statement not a question yet Kuroko answers anyway

"You are correct and in my opinion, they are too obsessed with you and guidance turn into teaching and molding you into someone else. To me, guidance is being there for you as a friend or a senior and only help when needed or asked. That way, you could growth and become yourself that you want"

"…"

Akashi's eyes are fixated onto him as he takes in the strange creature before him. Never in his life that he wasn't been molded into someone belief. A perfect heir for his father, a perfect son for his mother, a perfect student for his school, a perfect captain for his team, a perfect president for the students and a perfect king for the beings. They molded him some much that slowly he losing himself and become what he is today without him noticing. The red hair boy smiles after a long time, a smile that is genuine but quickly hide it way

"You seem to exceed my expectations, Tetsuya"

"I hope that it's a good thing then"

Now with slight smile, Akashi just chuckles heartily at that and the same old same old dense Kuroko is left in the dark of what so funny.
