In the streets of Fukushima, the two menacing Kaiju circled each other, staring into one another's eyes and growling menacingly, Godzilla 2000's eyes radiated determination and eagerness to beat this demonic entity while Shin Godzilla's eyes radiated malice, rage, fury and intense hatred for everything.
There was nothing much left, it was down to just Godzilla 2000 and Shin Godzilla. The imminent conflict would determine the course of history and the fate of a universe.
Deciding to go first, Godzilla 2000 began to power up his heat ray and charged at the same time towards Shin, eager to deliver a combo.
The zombie-like creature with small and beady eyes didn't seem fast enough to intercept this as he just stood there, waiting for the first move as 2000 closed the distance between them.
In the end, it almost didn't matter as Godzilla 2.0/2000 got to Shin Godzilla and punched him in the gut before giving him a face full of atomic breath.
Completely surprised, Shin stumbled sideways and turned right, allowing 2000 to launch another nuclear breath attack... on Shin Godzilla's dorsal plated backside.
The orange energy beam lanced through the beast's flesh and blasted off three dorsal plates, causing blood to splatter everywhere on the streets below. Recovering from the punch in time to feel that, which felt like somebody stabbing and lighting him on fire at the same time underwater, The reincarnated Godzilla 1954 bellowed in fury, "AYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEOOOOOONNNNGK!"
"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOONNNNNGK!" Godzilla 2000 roared in response, satisfied that things had turned in HIS favor. However, his own arrogance got the best of him when his opponent quickly recovered and finally attacked... by wheeling around and smacking the King of the Monsters with his HUGE tail!
"AHHRRRRH!" Godzilla 2000 howled and fell back, retreating a bit to recover. As for Shin Godzilla, he turned to face his worthy rival before suddenly kneeling over, much to the confusion of the green skinned, radioactive dinosaur.
If there was one detail people did not notice, it was the bright, purple light that was Shin's dorsal plates glowing again for the first time in hours since Nagasaki, but brighter, while the beast's mouth opened and began to unhinge.
"Well, this is quite something!" Reporter Davis exclaimed, watching the scene below, "Creepyzilla's back is glowing with some kind of radioactive energy, is he... Oh crap, he's about to go all out with whatever dark powers he has, isn't he?" Within seconds, as the glowing on Shin Godzilla's body intensified, dark smoke poured fourth from his mouth onto the ground, covering the streets in black.
Completely taken by surprised, Godzilla 2000 was in for a shock when he noticed that he was standing feet deep in the cloudy missed and then looked at his nemesis.
The monstrous demon's beady pupils were soon covered by glossy eyelids and then… the smoke turned into fire. 2000 shrieked in alarm as the explosive flames engulfed the surrounding area and knocked him down. He could feel himself being covered in fire, just like in the nightmares he'd experienced.
All around the monsters, the flames decimated buildings and sent cars flying, knocking over towers and causing gas heaters to explode. People who were close by in the vicinity who hadn't gotten out, shrieked as the flames engulfed them.
Flesh, blood and muscle vaporized in seconds and the skeletons became dust that blew away with the wind, almost all the metal in the buildings and cars melted away, becoming molten steel that became part of the concrete.
Realizing he was invincible and could still fight, Godzilla 2000 got to his feet, ignoring the pain in his hands burning as he touched the flames, and watched as Shin Godzilla's nuclear attack began to change from a huge stream of black smoke and orange fire to a thin, violet laser beam.
The monstrous creature turned its head left and right, cutting down buildings and anything else with its attack, what remained of the bisected buildings went up in flames.
In the helicopter above, the pilot as well as Davis and the cameraman were in total shock at what they saw. "What's next?" Bill the cameraman asked, "Is that thing gonna start shooting lasers from its dorsal plates or its tail?"
The pilot shuddered, "We better get out of here before something happens." With that, the helicopter left and the news crew stopped filming just as Godzilla 2000 went back on the all out offensive and attacked Shin by shooting a fireball at him.
The flaming projectile struck the beast in the leg and exploded, halting Shin's offensive temporarily as the exploding nuclear fireball caused him to stumble a bit.
"AYYYRRRRGH!" Godzilla 54 2.0 growled, its mouth snapped shut and the atomic laser vanished. But the dorsal plates were still glowing, signaling that the attack could happen again in some capacity so Godzilla 2000 had to act now and find a way to beat this thing or the battle could somewhat end in a draw.
Overhead in the skies far above, United States fighter jets flew over in coordination with the Japanese and a regiment of the British, the pilots observing the scene below.
"Observing carefully," The squadron leader said over the radio system to the others, "It seems the real target is the one with glowing dorsal plates while the other one's on our side. So lets help the real Godzilla, here we go."
"Pilots!" Royal Air Force captain Robert Crittendon yelled, "BEGIN ATTACK RUN!" The British jets broke off from the squadron and flew down towards the scene below, guns aimed at Shin Godzilla and all hands on the triggers.
BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM! The machine guns let loose and the bullets bounced off Shin's hide, doing absolutely nothing. Sensing that the Japanese and their allies had entered the fray on his foe's side, the beast prepared to let loose again.
"Bullets have done nothing." A British pilot commented, "Repeat, time to use bombs. Lets let this mofo have it! Here we go, BOMBS AWAY!"
The bomb bay doors on the bottom of the British fighters opens and the bombs dropped, heading right towards the back of the giant beast. The first three bombs made it and blew up, only to do nothing, while the rest got decimated when Shin Godzilla suddenly started firing off laser beams from his dorsal plates.
The lasers pierced through the bombs, cutting them in half before they blew. The British didn't have time to act as they ended up falling victim to Shin's power. However, one pilot was able to comment, "Bloody 'el, how is this possib... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
The last thing he could do was scream when the lasers cut through the jet and he was decimated by the explosion following suit. The Japanese and American planes were left in the air now and would not stand by.
The entire squadron dived down towards the ground, letting loose all ammo and bombing wildly when the lasers ceased after Godzilla 2000 attacked Shin and distracted the beast long enough.
The bombs fell upon the giant creature, one by one. Among the bombs were 2 bunker buster bombs which struck Shin Godzilla's lower back, blasting off a few more dorsal plates. This enraged the beast so badly, that's when it when ballistic and fired more lasers from both its back and its tail.
The nuclear beams took off the wings of the Japanese jets and bombers, making them drop into the flames below.
The American fighters were cut in half and decimated by the fires raging in the streets, all the pilots who'd tried to play their part in potentially defeating the menace had met their terrible fates.
With one threat taken care off, the ancient and prehistoric, mutated monster from the depths of the Pacific set his sights upon the yellow eyed beast that punched him.
Unhinging its jaw, Shin Godzilla fired off another laser that struck Godzilla 2000 in the eye, causing the titan to back down before attempting to blast Shin with an atomic breath strike only to be cut off mid-charge by another barrage of nuclear laser fire that soon turned back into atomic fire, which the beast turned upon the rest of Fukushima, decimating more city blocks and causing the nuclear plant responsible for the 2011 disaster to explode in flames.
Worn out but not defeated, Godzilla 2000 decided to walk away from the battle that he couldn't prevail in, for now. Watching his equal decimate the city, the 50 foot, crocodile-headed dinosaur turned to leave and headed back to the sea to recover.
Ceasing fire and sensing most of his energy depleted, Shin Godzilla stood in the devastation that had once been Fukushima, grinning evilly and roaring a demonic roar that caused a tower to collapse into the broiling inferno itself.
Relishing his ultimate accomplishment and sensing many innocents suffer in the chaos of what had happened, the creature that had been a peaceful sea creature now serving as the vessel for a vengeful spirit marched a few steps forward almost weakly and lowered its head.
The beast's eyes closed and the red and purple lights faded as Shin Godzilla drifted off to sleep in order to avoid overheating, which could prove to be dangerously fatal to him...
