"Chalo Daya, ab to case solve ho gaya na. Ab ye paperwork kal subah aakar karna, abhi foran ghar chalo tum..aram ki jaroorat hai tumhe abhi"
Daya who was lost in thoughts came out with a jerk and look at his buddy standing in front of him.
"Kuch kaha kya tumne Abhijeet"
Abhijeet: lo ho gayi chutti..sahab to yahan the hi nahin jab hum unse baatein kar rahe the.
Daya smiled sweetly on his friend's antics who repeated again his order.
" Maine kaha abhi ye paperwork kal karna utho aur ghar chalo..aaj hi wapas aaye ho hospital se..koi jaroorat nahin hai itna stress lene ki..chalo ab "
Daya making faces: Boss tumhein to pata hai mujhe ye paperwork karna bilkul pasand nahin..aaj ke aaj hi complete ho jaega to acha rahega..kal aakar fir bore hona padega.
Abhijeet: wo sab to theek hai yaar par sirf tumhein pasand nahin islie tum is halat me itna stress lo ye bhi to theek nahin na
Daya in carefree tone: are kis halat boss..mai to bilkul theek hoon
Abhijeet: haan maloom hai (light anger) maloom hai kitne theek ho..baar baar ye jo seene par hath rakh rahe ho din bhar ki bhag daud ke baad ghav me pain hone laga hai par nahin.. humesha herogiri jo dikhani hai.
Before Daya can speak something they hear a known voice: kya ho raha hai ye sab..kyu behas kar rahe hain mere jawan.
Abhijeet complaining about his buddy: dekhiye na Sir..abi hospital se aaya hai aur kam me laga hua hai subah se..mai keh raha hoon ghar chalne to baat hi nhi sun raha.
ACP sir: Dayaa Abhijeet theek keh raha hai..tumhein ab aram karna chahiye na.
Daya look at him.. two scenes flashed in front of his eyes..one when he was at ACP sir's home and showing him some proofs about Rocky being fake Abhijeet and he haven't believed him and second was when his strong ACP sir was crying badly for his life. He was confused between both his sides. He simply nodded his head in yes and move out from bureau leaving a sad ACP Pradyuman and a confused Abhijeet behind.
Abhijeet whispered a low good night to ACP sir and he too moved behind his buddy.
He came down..till then Daya was already sitting inside vehicle.
Abhijeet too hopped on driving seat and saw Daya sitting with closed eyes.
Abhijeet pressed his lips and silently tied seat belt around Daya who lie more comfortably without opening his eyes.
Whole way passed in silence. Duo reached home and Abhijeet got down from car after halting it at its proper place.
He came on Daya's side and opened his door..
Daya was still lying with closed eyes.
Abhijeet gently pat Daya's shoulder and spoke softly: Daya chalo utho, ghar aa gaya hai.
Daya didn't opened his eyes..Abhijeet patted his shoulder once again in smile.
Daya chalo utho andar chal ke so jana..chalo
Daya didn't responded.
Abhijeet took a back step..his forehead got curve tense lines.
Abhijeet in low tone: Daya aankhein kyun nahin khol raha..Da...Daya
Sweat droplets came out from his scalp going somewhere behind his ears..
He hurridely move forward and shake Daya vigorously with: Daya aankhein kholo..Dayaaaaa
Daya opened his eyes with a big jerk looking at Abhijeet, bewilderedly.
He ask in horror: kya hua..kya kar rahe ho tum
Tears appeared in Abhijeet's eyes and he hugged Daya tightly with his full strength.
Here Daya who was utterly confused, get scared feeling really high heart beat of his buddy who was hugging him tightly and not willing to leave.
Daya hugged him back and rub his back without asking anything..
Abhijeet who really closing his eyes tightly in scare got relaxed with few backup pats and get seperated angrily from Daya.
"Is tarah se koi sota hai kya, car ko ghar samajh rakha hai..kabse utha raha hoon uth hi nahi rahe the...maloom hai main kitna dar..."
Daya: Boss shayad dawai ki wajah se gehri neend aa gayi..tum dar kyun gaye..tum theek to ho na Abhi.
Abhijeet ignoring all his carefilled comments: main kyu darunga..ab chalo andar (locking the car) nahi to phir se abi yahin so jaoge tum.
Daya in shock: areyy!
Daya nod his head in no and followed Abhijeet who move out from garage with great speed.
Duo entered home and Abhijeet made his way straight towards his room without having any eye contact with Daya and giving him any chance to speak.
Daya sighed and he too made his way towards his room.
Daya came out from his room..still Abhijeet was in his room.
Daya nod his head in no looking at the closed room door.
Daya entered his buddy's room who was standing near window looking outside blankly.
Daya look at him for once with a small smile..he pressed his shoulder and he mumbled: jante ho Daya jab wahan hospital me tum..tum saans...(tears choked his voice and he turned mute again) Daya smoothly turned him towards himself and yearned in pain seeing his brother's wet eye lashes.
Daya: tum jante ho jab mujhe pata chala ki wo Rocky mera dost nahin balki koi behrupia hai..main kitna dar gaya tha. Ye soch ke ki tum zinda bhi ho ya nahin..kahan ho kis haal me ho. Dil me yakeen tha ki tumhe kuch nahi hua hai par dimag ke dar ka kya karta..mai to pal pal mara hoon ye soch ke ki tum theek ho ya nahin (in smile) to ek baar sans ruk bhi gayi to..
Abhijeet angrily: Dayaaa
Daya: okay okay nahi kehta kuch par ab tum tention lena band karo..mai bilkul theek hoon..ab is baat ko lekar ek bhi aansu tumhari ankhon me nahin dikhna chahiye mujhe..
Abhijeet turning his face away: mai kyu bahane laga janab ke lie aansu..chalo jao ab apne room me kal bureau bhi jana hai..aram karo jakar.
Daya hold his elbow...Abhijeet turned in head down mode..Daya smiled and hugged him smoothly
Abhijeet smiled feeling relaxed after getting his buddy near him.
Duo seperated and Daya sat down on his bed while Abhijeet look at him in awe.."Kya mai pooch sakta hoon sahab ki tashreef yahan kyu virajman ho rahi hai."
Daya in dreamy tone: Boss, agli baar kabhi ACP sir kisi case mein tumpe shak karein na to tum kabhi ye mut samjhna ki wo tumpe vishwas nahi karte..(looking at Abhijeet saying in deep tone) bohot bharosa karte hain wo tumpe.
Abhijeet: wo to main janta hoon bus pata nahi kyun jab sir mujhpe shak karte hain to (grave tone) wo ehsaas bohot dard de jata hai.
Daya: main samajh sakta hoon Boss (deep tone) acchi tarah samajh sakta hoon.
A voice echoed in his ears: "ye jo tum Abhijeet ke baare mein mujhe itna sab bata rahe ho..kahin tum Abhijeet se.."
He came out of his thoughts hearing his name call..
"H..haan"
Abhijeet confusingly: kya ho gaya hai Daya..sab theek to hai na.
Daya: Haan yaar sab theek hai
Abhijeet: acha to phir tumhein kaise pata ki sir mujhpe bohot vishwas karte hain.
Daya replied in silent tone: sir ne tumpe apne vishwas ke khatir mujh par vishwas nahin kia
Abhijeet look at him in shock: Daya..kya keh rahe ho..kuch hua hai kya..sir ne kuch kaha tumse.
Daya in smile: nahin yaar kuch nahin..acha chalo mai chala sone..subah phir tum utha doge jaldi..mai nikalta hoon bhai..chalo Good night.
Abhijeet: Daya tum baat taal rahe ho..iska matlab kuch to jaroor hua hai
Daya: nahi Boss kuch nahin hua...aur ab sab theek hai..tum befikr raho.
Abhijeet wanted to stop him but he knew that right now Daya will not tell him anything..he have to wait for the right time.
Next day a case arrived so early in the morning that they don't get time to discuss anything about last night and they directly went to crime spot.
Duo returned back and Acp sir call both of them to take updates...After discussing whole he ordered Abhijeet to proceed work and stopped Daya in his cabin.
Abhijeet left leaving Daya and Acp sir alone in the cabin.
Daya was feeling awkward as he can't understand his own feelings..was he angry from ACP sir or he was jealous? Jealous of whom?..his buddy?..no it's not possible..he can't be jealous of his best friend but then what to name that feeling..he was thinking all this when heard a soft tone...
"Naraz ho"
Daya bewilderedly: jee sir
ACP sir getting up from his chair and came near his lovely officer.
"Maine poocha kya tum naraz ho mujhse"
Daya feeling embarassed: nahin sir nahin to mai bhala aapse naraz kyu hone laga.
ACP sir: haan ye bhi sahi hai maine to kuch aisa kiya nahin jo tum mujhse naraz ho..(asking playfully) nahin kia na?
Daya simply nodded his head in yes and replied: jee sir nahin kia.
ACP sir asked: to phir kal tum mujhe bina good night wish kiye kyun chale gaye the.
Daya turned his head down before replying then answered keeping his head down only: sir bhool gaya tha..sorry sir
ACP sir smiled sweetly at his cute officer because he knew Daya was lying and Daya too knew that he intentionally haven't wished him a night because he just don't wanted to do that..why he himself was not understanding.
Acp sir placed hand on his shoulder: tumhara huk hai mujhse naraz hone ka..
Daya's eyes turned moist and he says in stubborn tone: aapko mer vishwas karna chahiye tha sir..hum pehle hi Abhijeet ko bacha lete.
ACP sir: haan Daya..wo jo hua jo bilkul nahin hona chaiye tha..jab ek pal ko mujhe laga maine apne Daya ko kho dia..(tear fell down from Daya's eyes) agar main tumpar vishwas kar leta to shayad ye nahin hota..par tumhare Abhijeet pe shak ka main vishwas nahin kar paya..ab main uska wo intelligent dost to nahin jo uske humshakal ko bhi bina kisi hint ke pehchan sake ki wo uska dost nahin hai.
Daya smiled tearily...he replied: par sir (proudly) aapko Boss par bohot yakeen hai...aur aap humesha uske saamne strict ban jate hain.
ACP sir: kyunki wo samjhta hai..janta hai ki ACP Pradyuman ne kabi apni takat par shak nahin kia aur tum dono to meri takat ho..phir use aise cabin me bulakar akele mein manata bhi to nahin main..ye to sepcially tumhare lie hai.
Daya turned red due to embarrassment..ACP sir smiled broadly on his golden hearted officer when his buddy peep in: sir file pe apke signature chahiye the..(sarcastically) laadle Chiranjeev maan gaye hon to main aa jaun.
Daya look at him in anger and Acp sir hide his smile while Abhijeet slipped away in a second.
Daya murmuring under his teeths: Is Boss ke bacche ko to main dekh loonga.
ACP sir clearing his throat: pehle use dunia me to aa jane do
Daya was done with this leg pulling by his both seniors and elders so he choose to leave now.
Daya: sir main aaya
ACP sir nodded cutely and Daya left stamping his feets hardly on floor giving broad smile to ACP sir and huge laugh to his buddy who was noticing his actions.
Whole day passed happily as Daya's mood was really good. He was working, hopping around, cracking jokes and what not as he was feeling like a pampered kid loved by his family the most.
At night all were about to close there work and return home when ACP sir ordered all to gather in meeting room.
They all look at each other feeling the seriousness of the matter.
ACP sir: aaj se theek din baad hum sab logon ko ek mission ke lie nikalna hai..aap sab log parso raat ko mere ghar par ikattha honge..wahan aap sabko mission ke particulars bhi diye jaenge aur high officials bhi aapse milne aayenge..to I want everyone in proper dress code..plus us din se pehle saara paperwork khatam hona chahiye tab hi hum sab mission ke liye nikal payenge.
Abhijeet: par sir hum sab log hi agar yahan nahin honge to bureau kaun sambhalega
ACP sir: humari abscence me backup team bureau ka kam dekhegi..ab aap sab log ghar jaiye agle do din bohot hectic hone wale hain.
Really next two days were very hectic as they all are busy in completing the paper work, preparing work notes for the backup team and simultaneously investigating the cases. Duo were extremely busy as being seniors they have to check and re- check everything before finalising and sending on ACP sir's table..they have no time to sit and communicate because right now work is more important.
At night around 10:30 PM Acp sir ordered everyone to leave and gather again at his home in an hour in proper dress code.
All rushed to their respective homes...
DUO HOME
Daya: yaar do din se kaam kar kar ke halat buri ho gayi aur wo bhi paper work aur ab raat bhi sone nahi milne wala shayad...oopar se poora saj sanwar ke babu ji ban ke jao..hunh
Abhijeet throwing a pair of suit on him: agar tum aise hi batein karte rahe to pakka aaj raat ko sone ko nahin milna..jaldi se ye pehno aur tayar ho jao.
Daya grab the suit and as he look at the suit, he got confused but he again hear a warning voice of his brother, he put his confusion aside and start getting ready.
Daya look his reflection in mirror and really praised himself in this new suit which he don't know when became part of his wardrobe.
Abhijeet look at Daya for once and Daya waited for one praise line however he himself wanted to praise his handsome buddy who was wearing a similar shade and looking dashing but sadly, his brother ordered him to switch off all the lights and come out quickly.
Daya make a face and did as ordered. Duo came out, locked the home and flew away.
Yaar Boss, tumhare kehne pe maine ye long route lia aur dekho kitni der ho gayi..ACP sir to kaccha kha jaenge.
Abhijeet: are ab mujhe kya pata tha ki yahan aaj itna traffic hoga.
Daya irritatingly: Boss yhn normally itna hi traffic hota hai.
Abhijeet: theek hai na Daya ab to late ho hi gaye hain..chalte hn dekh lenge.
Daya nodded his head in yes.
Both reached nearly 25 minutes late..Duo hurridely locked the car and both went inside.
ACP sir's house was dipped in darkness..
Abhijeet: Daya itna andhera kyun hai yahan.
Daya: Haan wahi to main bhi soch raha hoon yahan pe itna andhera...
Abhijeet: kahin meeting khatam to nahi ho gayi..Daya kya time hua hai
Daya pressing a small button of his smart watch..Boss 12 baj gaye hain...
SUUUUUURPRRRRISSSSSEEEEEEEEEEE
And so many balloons and mini explosions echoed the whole premises..one by one all lights switched on and everyone gathered Daya who was looking everyone in shock.
Abhijeet hugged his buddy and wished: Happy Birthday to youuu...
Everyone wished him and his smile became more broad when ACP sir pat his right cheek and wished him lovingly: Happy Birthday Daya...Abhijeet Daya to ye wale suit me sach me bohot hi pyara lag raha hai.
Daya turned red in shyness..he look at his Boss who assured him from his eyes and Daya got well about his plan, that suit and the whole bluff played by his father, brother and his family.
Tears of happiness appeared in his eyes..he cut cake and feed everyone...after cake cutting ceremony everyone presented him his favourite stuffs. He went to Abhijeet and asked: mera gift
Abhijeet: aur ye jo suit pehna hua hai
Daya: ye to pre-birthday hai na ON Birthday gift kahan hai
Abhijeet nod his head in disappointment and hand over him a wrapped gift. Daya opened it quickly and found the same handset which he want to purchase next month.
He smiled broadly: ye hui na baat..thanku Boss..
He went near Acp sir who was busy in his fights with Salunkhe sir.
Daya: Sir
ACP sir: haan Daya
Daya: Thanku sir
ACP sir just smiled at him and laughed the next second listening to the cute complain of his officer..
"Sir ye surprise ke lie kitna paperwork krwaya na aapne"
ACP sir: wo paperwork surprise ke lie nahin hai teen din ki vacations ke lie hai..
Daya's eyes shined in happiness: Sach sir
Everyone gathered ACP sir in excitement and start asking randome questions about this surprise number two.
Acp sir: CID ne in kuch dino me bohot bure din dekhe hain..bohot kuch ho gaya hai in chand dino mein...thoda sa break to banta hai na.
Duo look at each other in smile and whole CID family shouted in happiness making so many plans for there vacations.
