"Uhhhhhhhhhh!" Bruce said and fell to the floor
"Bruce!" Tony shouted as he flew down to Bruce
"What are we going to tell Bruce?" Steve said looking at the wreckage "How are we going to tell him that he did all of this."
"I don't know." Tony said as he picked up Bruce "Let's just go home."
Now
Tony took Bruce and got on the jet along with Steve and Thor
"I'll fly Tony." Steve said "You stay with Bruce."
"Thank you Steve." Tony replied "Thor can you hand me those blankets."
"Of course." Thor said and grabbed the blankets to give to Tony "Here."
"Thanks." Tony said wrapping the blankets around Bruce
"What about the people?' Steve asked
"We'll go back down there after we drop Bruce off" Tony said
"What will Bruce think when he wakes up in a cage and sees the city destroyed?" Steve said looking at Tony
"We can't put him in a cage Steve." Tony said
"We have too Tony." Steve replied
"I know " Tony said looking down
"We just have to keep him in there until we find out what's wrong with the Hulk." Steve stated
"I know." Tony said as they flew up too the helicarrier
"We're here." Steve said as they landed
"Let's go." Tony said as the door opened
"Stark!" Fury said walking to them "Do you have Banner?"
"Yeah." Tony replied
"He's right here " Thor said walking out of the Quinjet with Bruce in his arms
"Good." Nick Fury said "Agent Hill escort Thor to the cage."
"Yes sir." She replied and then her and Thor walked away
"How is Clint?" Steve asked
"He just woke up a few minutes ago." Fury stated "Three broken ribs and a broken arm. Romanoff is with him."
"Can we see him?" Steve questioned
"Yes. Follow me." Nick Fury replied as they walked to the elevator
They got to the room with Clint and he was talking to Natasha
"Hey Clint!" Tony said as he walked in the room
"Oh hey Tony." Clint said and turned to Steve "Hey Steve."
"How are you feeling Clint?" Steve said
"I'm ok. Just a little sore." Clint said
"Did you get Bruce?" Natasha asked
"Yeah." Tony replied "He's in the cage."
"Oh" Natasha said looking down
"Aahhhh." Clint said holding his side
"Let's get you some more pain medication." Natasha said walking over to the cabinet
"Thanks" Clint said and took the medicine
"When can we see Bruce?" Natasha asked
"I don't know." Tony replied "I'll ask Fury."
"Ok, thanks." Natasha said
"Tony." Thor said walking into the room
"What?" Tony said
"Bruce is awake." Thor said
"Bruce is awake?" Tony said standing up
"Yes" Thor said "Fury told me."
"Can we see him?" Natasha questioned
"I believe so." Thor replied
"Let's go." Tony said walking towards the door with Thor
"Coming." Steve said going after him
Natasha looked at Clint "You can go." Clint said "I'll be fine."
"I'll be right back." Natasha said
"Ok" Clint said as she followed the others
They went up the elevator to the floor with the cage
"Do you think Fury told Bruce about everything already?" Tony said as the elevator doors opened
"Yes he did." Natasha said
"How do you know?" Steve questioned and then Natasha pointed at Bruce curled up at the end of the cage
"Oh" Steve replied looking at Bruce
"Hi Bruce." Tony said walking up to the cage, Bruce's back towards them
"Are you ok?" Bruce asked "How's Clint? Is he ok?"
"Bruce we're fine. Clint's fine. How are you?" Tony said
"I don't know. How would you feel if you found out that you hurt your friend, destroyed a city, and killed hundreds of people." Bruce said looking down
"Bruce" Natasha said "It wasn't your fault."
"Yes it was!" Bruce shouted "All of those people died because of me!"
"There were still some people who survived friend Bruce." Thor said
"Yeah and those people got thier family, friends, and homes taken away because of me." Bruce said putting his head down more "I'm a monster."
"Bruce you are not a monster." Tony said
"Bruce." Natasha said "Can you turn around and look at me at least?"
"I don't think I should." Bruce said
"Why?" Tony questioned
"Because..." Bruce said
"Because what?" Steve asked "Why don't you want to turn around?"
"Because of my eyes." Bruce said
"It is ok if you are crying friend Bruce." Thor said
"I was...but now I'm not." Bruce replied "It's something else."
"Then what is it Bruce?" Steve said
"Bruce turn around." Natasha said more seriously
Bruce turned around opening his eyes. They were a bright, dangerous shade of green.
