Rise of the Otsutsuki Clan

Holy crap guys apparently I'm alive after all. Sorry for the very long waiting period but as of right now I'm going to get back into writing and more updates for this and my other stories will be coming. This is only a short introductory chapter but nevertheless enjoy.

Chapter 10

Kaguya could not help herself as a cold sneer stretched across her perfect lips, Yasaka had predictably made her way to the East Youkai Faction which allowed her to openly declare war on Nurarihyon and the Five Principal Clans who inadvertently give shelter to an enemy of her Faction. Naruto played his part splendidly, with Kunou adoring her son as her own personal hero for showing Yasaka mercy, she would be key in bringing the Kyuubi. Once she destroyed the East Youkai Faction she would slaughter the Five Principal Clan if they would get in her way. Knowing them, Kaguya no doubt knew they would submit to her rule, no matter how tough of an image they displayed, their power was limited. Even the Shinto Gods that supposedly had supreme rule over Japan would be nothing more than mere obstacles in her way, after all if they stepped out of place then they would be replaced.

Pondering her plans, Kaguya smirked at the thought of finally ridding her foes and firmly placing Japan in her control. Sipping on the tea set for her by her attendants, Kaguya waited patiently for her next appointment. On que, a large flash of light illuminated the room Kaguya occupied and out appeared a young child with cascading green hair. Though appearing harmless, Shiva was anything but, Kaguya knew the Hindu Gods were not to be trifled with. Shiva, Indra, Branhma and Vishnu were dangerous in their respectibe rights, making the Hindus among one of the more powerful Faction of Gods. She however did not consider them too much of a threat, if the Hindus and the Otsutsukis battled Kaguya knew her clan would come out on top, what she was worried about were the potential losses that would come with their victory.

"You are as beautiful as they say, Princess Kaguya." Shiva began his sharp, calculating eyes studying the beautiful woman. "I am surprised you would invite me to Kyoto after the little issue you had with the other Youkai."

Kaguya merely nodded and offered Shiva a seat.

"Now, what do you want."

Finishing her cup of tea Kaguya smiled thinly and motioned to the beautiful view of Kyoto home offered. "An alliance. With Kyoto and Kuoh now firmly under Otsutsuki rule, I believe an alliance with you would be beneficial to our two Factions."

"Just me? Not the rest of the Hindu Gods?"

"Of course I would be open to an alliance with the entire Faction but you are not unified. From what I have gathered you and Indra have been warring amongst yourselves."

"Ho? Has our dirty little secret been exposed? No matter, Indra is not a threat to me."

"I see... Then what is it that you want?"

Pondering Kaguya's words for a moment, Shiva grinned and shrugged his shoulders in response hoping to bring a reaction out of the emotionless woman. His actions were in vain however, Kaguya remained stoic in their discussions. Shiva smiling once more before finally arriving at the heart of their meeting. "What does the Otsutsuki clan have to offer me?"

"What is it do you desire?"

"Interesting things rater than a mere war."

For Naruto he found Azazel amusing, his mother on the other hand wanted nothing more than to wipe Grigori and Azazel off the map. Considering some less than formal comments he initially made towards Kaguya, Naruto half expected her to turn the Fallen Angel to dust. To the outside world Grigori and the Otsutsuki's were neutral, no one other than the respective leaders of both Factions knew of their alliance. Grigori needed strength if war ever broke out between the other Biblical Factions, whereas Kaguya desired Azazel's obscure knowledge of Sacred Gears. Their agreement demanded mutual defense of both parties, it did not however allow Azazel to appear unannounced which the Governor General liked to do, a lot. In this instance Azazel was seated inside Naruto's bedroom shamelessly looking around for blackmail material.

"Not again you perverted old man." Naruto groaned aloud.

"Oi where do you hide your porn brat?" Azazel asked ignoring the incredulous look sent his way. After another minute of searching for incriminating magazines only to come out empty handed. With a sad, disappointed sigh he turned to the annoyed Naruto patting him softly on the shoulder. "Don't worry I brought enough porn for the both of us, you can thank me later."

"You are impossible."

Chuckling lightly Azazel replied ever so cheerily. "I will turn you into a fellow pervert just you wait."

"Why are you here in Kuoh?"

"I heard you took over the city from the Devils and had to see it for myself."

"More like yo're avoiding Shemhazai again."

Not bothering to deny the accusation, Azazel grinned before an unusually serious expression crossed his face. "Kokabiel is planning something. he's been gone from Grigori for weeks now."

"You want me to find him?"

"No, I have Vali looking for him I just wanted to warn you in case he attacks."

"Right, of course."

"I really came to warn you."

"Mhm."

"I am."

"..."

"Take me seriously!" Azazel demanded aiming an annoyed glared at Naruto he continued to do so until he crossed his arms in indignation; before grumbling aloud. "Brats these days."

"Seriously though how are you even the leader of Grigori?"

"..."

"I'm surprised Vali isn't a psychopath with how you raised him."

The attack was super effective. Azazel recoiled as if he had been struck laying down in a fetal position softly whispering a response. "You act like you don't enjoy all the porn I gave you."

"Oh, I burned those."

"..."

"They were limited edition magazines!" Azazel roared jumping up and throwing an elbow on Naruto's neck. "How can you do such a thing!"

Naruto simply gave him a deadpanned stare.

"You owe me a favor you brat! They were part of my special collection, do you know how rare those were?!"

Looking over the report Georg sent him Cao Cao smiled to himself. When the little struggle between the Yokai's became common knowledge he wanted to send some help to prevent the Otsutsuki's from killing Yasaka. Once he found out they spared her Cao Cao ordered his plan to seize control of the Kyoto Leylines to begin early. He at first wanted to strike when Kyoto's defenses were weakened but he held off until he managed to capture Yasaka. Now with her in his possession he would begin to lay waste to the city in order to summon Great Red all he needed now was fully mobilize the Hero Faction to capture Kyoto.

He was a Hero after all as a descendant of one of China's greatest warlords he would wipe out all of threats to humanity. The years of planning and preparing would finally come to fruition when he summoned Great Red. Heh, he could see it now, once he wiped out the Yokai he would use his Longinus to defeat Great Red. Thinking about his plans only made Cao Cao's smile grow ever bigger, yes, soon all the evils that threatened humanity would be destroyed. He would destroy them, him, Cao Cao.

That's it for now, the next few chapters will involve both the Kokabiel and Hero Faction arc, hopefully bringing an end to the attack on Kuoh and transitioning to the one in Kyoto. Of course I will love to hear any suggestions or comments, anything of the sort really. Once again I'm really sorry for not being active for so damn long, but, I promise I'll try to update the story more often. I intend to finish this story.
