She felt a dark cloud over head, today she would be apprenticed.. but who to? It was between Littlefawn, Thorntalon, Blossomclaw and Gentleleaf. She couldn't wait!! Dark-kit knew Lightningstrike didn't mean to be so bias .. but she seemed to care for her own kits way more than she did for Dark-kit. Sighing, she settled next to okie of her only friends, "Barkpaw? Who do you think will be my mentor?!"

He looked like he was about to reply when a loud yowl echoed above,

"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below high rock for a clan meeting!"

Jumping at the noise, she dove below high rock for the meeting.

"As you know, little over a moon ago we welcomed Dark-kit into our clan. Dark-kit, you have reached the age of six moons and it's time for you to be apprenticed. From this day forth, you shall be known as Dark'paw and your mentor shall be Thorn-talon." She paused, turning to Thorntalon.

"Thorntalon, you have proven yourself to Thunderclan countless times. We honour you for your bravery and kindness. You are ready to take in an apprentice after your excellent training from Coralwing. I hope you pass your all you know onto your new apprentice."

She watched the pair touch noses and settle down, "Also today, we perform another ceremony. Blossomclaw, Is it your wish to give up your warrior name and join the elders den?" Owlstar waited for the elderly she cats decision.

"It is."

"Your clan honours you and all the service you have given us. I call upon StarClan to give you many moons of rest." She flicked her tail and looked around, "That is all."

"DARKPAW, BLOSSOMCLAW, DARKPAW, BLOSSOMCLAW!" The clan yowled as the leader leapt down, signalling the end of the meeting.

"Darkpaw!? Training starts tomorrow!"
