The Fate of Generosity

All the ponies and Spike returned to Celestia's castle. Spike was talking to Celestia in another room, hoping that he'll calm her down. The rest of the ponies were waiting for Spike and Celestia. Rarity was sweating bullets as she knew she was on Celestia's shit list. Not only did she make Spike cry, she also never told Celestia what she did to him.

"Relax Rarity! I'm sure Celestia will forgive ya! Spike did!" AJ said. Rarify gave her a sad smile. "Yeah...But he said he didn't completely forgive me, even though we...'mated'..." AJ smiled. "Tell me, how was Spike?" Rarity blushed as her face turned red from embarrassment. "It was really...'an experience.' Who knew Spike was very good with sex." She turned her head down. "It makes me wonder why I acted the way I did." She said with sadness.

Applejack punched her in the arm. "Hey girl! You fessed up to your mistakes and admitted what you did wrong! We all make mistakes Rarity! As long as you learn from them, it's going be alright!" AJ said while smiling.

Rarity smiled a little. "Thanks AJ! I'm sure Celestia can't be that mad at me right?"

AJ smiled nervously. 'I know I shouldn't lie to her, but on the way here she was so depressed and worried. I don't want to give her false hope. But I don't want to tell Rarity her fate either!'

Suddenly, the doors opened to reveal Spike and Celestia. "Please go easy on Rarity, she didn't know what she was doing at the time." Spike said.

Celestia for a moment spotted Rarity and glared daggers at her. Rarity gulps in fear. "We'll see..." Celestia said. Spike walked to Rarity. "Please be honest with her Rarity, she's already mad at you." Spike warned.

Rarity nods and walked to Celestia. 'Relax Rarity! This is Princess Celestia were talking about!...The same Celestia who banished Luna for 1,000 years...The same princess who almost boiled Canterlot...The same Celestia who's judging my fate today...I'm doomed.'

Both gals walked into the throne room while the doors closed on themselves. Celestia walked to her throne and sat on it. While she glared down on Rarity. The poor mare shook in terror.

"Now Rarity...When I ask you these questions...I expect you to be completely honest with me, understand?" Celestia demanded.

Rarity quickly nods.

"Good." She smiled for a bit before she frowned. "Is it true that you not only broke my son's heart, refusing to apologize to him, but had the audacity to say that his parents abandoned him?" She demanded with a cold tone.

Rarity looked down a but, before returning her head to Celestia. "Yes Celestia...It's true." She admits. Celestia for a moment took that in as she nods. "Why?" She asked.

Rarity had a face of sadness. "At first, I only wanted to turn down Spike, I really thought he would've handled my rejection. But then things got heated and I said some things I truly regretted. I...Was afraid of what to say to Spike after that day. So I made some excuses that I've been busy with my fashion line. And when I say Spike again after a month. I was actually happy, I was glad that he was happy and healthy. When he saw me, he still resented me for what I said on our date. I still didn't understand Spike's feelings and I once again said something without thinking...Which is why Spike ranaway to Everfree Forest."

Celestia stared down at Rarity as she put her closed right hand on her face. "So let me get this straight...Because you didn't understand Spike's feelings. You crushed his dreams of having you as his girlfriend, refused to comfort him for a month, and when Spike revealed your flaws, you heartless say that his parents abandoned him...I'm ashamed of you Rarity." Celestia said.

"With all due respect Celestia, me and Spike made up in Everfree Forest. Fluttershy helped me see the error of my ways! Don't you think maybe we can just let this go and call this a funny bru haha?!" Rarity said while smiling nervously.

However, Celestia's eyes were shadowed. "Ummm...Celestia? You okay?" Rarity asked. Not before feeling sweat drift off her body.

Celestia's showed some unadulterated rage. "FORGET?! YOU WANT ME TO FORGET THE FACT THAT YOU HURT MY BABY BOY BOTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY?!" Celstia yelled while she was in her Daybreaker form again. "SPIKE HAS ALWAYS SEEN YOU AS SOMEONE HE COULD TRUST! HOW CAN I FORGIVE SOMEONE WHO BREAK'S MY SON'S HEART!?"

Celestia breathed as she was no longer in her Daybreaker form. Meanwhile Rarity was even more scared than before. 'What the hell was I thinking?!' Thought Rarity.

Celeatiq walked to Rarity. "Rarity, when you inherited the element of Generosity, I was happy that you always helped others out of the kindess of your heart." Rarity smiled for a bit. She was glad she used her element for those sole purposes.

"Yet you never once showed an amount of Generosity to Spike!" Rarity lost her smile. "It has been coming apparently clear to me that you use my son for your work and never properly thank him. Tell me Rarity, have you ever once thanked Spike for his help in your shop?" Celestia asked.

Rarity raised her hand and was about to reply, but she couldn't find anything ti counter her argument because it was true. She never properly thanked Spike for all his help. She closed her mouth and put her hand down.

Celestia crossed her arms. "And to make matters worse, it was because of your selfishness that Spike refused to grow. Instead of talking to him about that, you still forced him to help you...And what pisses me off the most is the fact that you knew Spike had a crush on you and you never once said anything about it. And you decided that rejecting him when he went through the effort of asking you out was your best idea!" Celestia ranted.

Rarity looked down. It was true, she knew Spike loved her. Rarity never once thought about Spike's constant efforts to swoon her over. It was another reason why she screwed up so bad.

"But you know what made me very disappointed in you? The fact that you insulted Spike's family. His mother, Barb, laid his egg and by the time she woke up, someone had stolen it!" She moved closer to Rarity's face. "Do you have any idea how many years it took to find Spike?! How long she suffered in loneliness?! Did you know that Spike's father left her!? And yet you have the nerve to say that Spike's family abandoned him!" Celestia said.

Rarity teared up. The worst thing she done to Spike was telling him his parents didn't want him. All because Spike said she was a stuck up bitch. Which in turn was true.

"Celestia! I am truly sorry for hurting Spike! I finally understood his feelings!" She said.

"Do you Rarity? Do you really? Because you could be saying that so that I could forgive you!"

Rarity shakes her head in refusal. "I wouldn't do that!" "And yet all you did was hurt my son for years!"

"..."

"It's becoming clear that you haven't understood what Generosity truly means. If you did, we wouldn't be here today, I wouldn't have judged you, and you wouldn't have made my son cry not once but twice!" Celestia's gaze never left Rarity.

'Why does she keep talking about my element?' Though Rarity.

"I've decided the perfect punishment for you, I'll take away your element of Generosity!" Those words echoed through the castle. Rarity wished she was kidding, but she knew too well that she wasn't.

"Princess Celestia please! I had this element for years! Because of it, I was able to do amazing things like create fashion! If I didn't have my element, how would I get by!? I even apologized to Spike and 'mated' with to make him happy again! Maybe another punish-"

"SHUT UP!"

Celestia roared out, silencing Rarity. "You should be grateful Rarity! If Spike didn't come to me first, if he didn't give me his story, then your punishment would've been alot worse!" She said with authority.

Rarity paused for a moment as a her hair covered her eyes. Once again Spike did more for her then she ever did. "Your right." Celestia blinked. "I was suppose to be the Element of Generosity, yet I acted selfish and entitled. Because of that, I made horrible decisions that had horrible consequences. As I am right now, I don't deserve to bare this element."

Her eyes then showed determination. "But I'll do whatever it takes to get back on your good graces Celestia! I promise you that!" Rarity declared.

Celestia had a small smile. "Good Rarity, I can see what Spike said was true, your really sorry for what you done! But I'm still taking your element regardless."

Celestia prepared her magic as she used some kind of spell to take away her element. Rarity for her part felt weird. The process didn't hurt, but it almost felt like Rarity lost something special.

Celestia then held the element in her hand. "Now Rarity, I won't hold on to this forever. When you truly display an act of Generosity, only then will I return your element. As of right now, you are unworthy of it." Celestia explained.

Rarity knew that she was going to put in the hardwork to see to gain back Celestia's trust. "I understand princess Celestia!" Rarity bowed and was prepared to leave. "Rarity stop!"

Rarity turned to Celestia. "If you ever make Spike cry again, THEN YOU BETTER PRAY TO CELESTIA THAT I DON'T HUNT YOU DOWN!"

She warned as she once again turned on her Daybreaker form. Rarity knew she was closer to death than adventure she been on so far. Rarity ran away from her throne room.

"Ahhhhh, why didn't you attack her sister?" Celestia turned to Luna. She was seen crossing her arms. And had a face of disappointment.

"Sister, I taken away her element, that's Rarity punishment for hurting Spike." Celestia explained.

"Despite going into your Daybreaker form sis and taking her element, you went too easy on her! While she is sorry, she doesn't understand how Spike felt when she rejected him! She doesn't understand how different he is! She made Spike...Feel like a monster!" She explained.

Truth is, after almost boiling Canterlot, Celestia came to her room and explained why. By the time she finished, Luna almost considered becoming Nightmare Moon and forever haunting Rarity with nightmares. But she knew Celestia would've dealt with her.

"If your not going to deal with Rarity the right way!" She gained a smile that would've made even Discord shutter in fear. "Then I'll do it myself! Goodnight sister." She left.

Celestia prayed to Rarity. When it came to torture, Luna shined in that department. She hoped her sister wouldn't hurt Rarity...That much.
