The cool crystal water lapped over Alex body soothing her aches and pains she took a deep breath and looked up to the sky it had been a couple of hectic days since her nephew had come to Neverland and she was grateful that she could spend sometime to herself. Taking another quick, breath she dived further into the blue depths it was quite important to make most of her time she would be having quite a hectic next few days. Slowly, Alex head emerged from the water laying back she shut her deep in thought.
A few minutes later a sudden splash of water rippled around Alex she glanced around she could only hear multiple giggles from the water. "Hey!" A familiar voice giggled.
Quickly, Alex glanced over to see two beady eyes staring at her from the water. "Hey Sirena" Alex smiled. "What are you doing?".
"Looking for some fun" She replied emerging the rest of her head from the water.
"Oh" Alex sighed.
"Whats wrong?" Sirena asked.
"Nothing just not feeling like fun" Alex explained.
"Oh want to talk about it?" Sirena asked still smiling.
"No not really no offence but I barely know you" Alex pointed out.
"I get it" Sirena agreed. "Want to go for a swim".
Before Alex could refuse she was dragged underwater by Sirena who was moving at a fast speed beneath the water clutching on for dear life Alex muffled screamed forgetting she was underwater and had no means of breathing clutched her breath to her surprise she could breath under the water she glanced over to Sirena who was just laughing at her Alex gave her a cross look before they continued on their way. A few minutes later they swam through a tight underwater cave which shone liked blue crystal which amazed Alex it seemed like in the roots of neverland magic still flowed it reminded her of the early days of neverland before most of the magic had failed. Suddenly, both heads emerged from the water to a secret underground lair.
"Wow!" Gasped Alex. "Where are we?".
"Oh it just a cave I found" Sirena began. "It's where I go to think" she continued splashing her tail in the water.
"It's beautiful" Alex pointed out pointing at the blue cave walls. "Thanks Sirena this has brighten my day".
A sudden chill made Alex shiver the cold of the water was setting in around her bones she quickly brushed the feeling off and found a nice large rock to sit on it was slightly above the water and close enough to talk to Sirena. "I never got the answer to why you wanted to talk to me?"Alex asked.
"I guess a number of reasons" Sirena explained before swimming to the depths.
"Hey!"Alex shouted.
Slowly, Alex scanned the water looking for Sirena it was a few good minutes before the water rippled and Sirena emerged carrying two sparkly shells in hand. "Here!" Sirena called throwing a shell at Alex.
Catching the shell Alex examined it a beautiful blue peal like shell glimmered in her hand it was one of the most beautiful things she had seen. "Wow!" she exclaimed. "It's beautiful".
"I thought you would think so" Sirena smiled. "Do you want to play?".
"By doing what?"Alex quizzed.
"Us mermaids use shells to play music tunes" she explained. "It's what we do when we are feeling sad".
"OK" Alex agreed.
Alex studied how Sirena used the shell nice melodic sound echoed around the cave Alex followed suit and before long the cave was filled with sweet sounding tunes.
A while later in the afternoon Alex and Sirena swam back to the beach shore Alex had no idea how long she had been gone but she guessed due to the setting of the sun that it was the afternoon. Upon walking back towards the main camp she heard a crunch of leaves and many wispering voices taking refuge in a nearby tree she glanced down to the surrownding bushes.
Slowly, Alex's eyes adjusted to the clearing in the forest there she spotted felix being interagated by Emma, Mary Margaret and the queen without hesitation Alex raced from the tree and into the way of the queen she wore an angry look upon her face. "Back off queenie!" Alex snapped.
"I'm going to talk to my son one way or another" Regina snapped back.
"Well not like this" Alex disagreed raising her hands she placed a shield in front of herself and Felix. "Go get back to the camp I'll meet you there" Alex instucted turning to face Felix.
Quickly, Felix raced off into the forest away from the view of the adults. Alex slowly, lowered the force field and turned to face the adults who seemed even more angry then before. "Great that was our only chance to talk to Henry!" The queen snapped.
"Well look what we have here" Alex giggled "three lost puppies".
"Watch it" Emma piped in. "Why are you doing this?" She asked. "Henry doesn't deserve this".
"And Felix deserved to get his heart ripped out?" Alex asked in return.
"All we want is to talk to Henry to make sure he's alright" Mary Margaret added looking with sadness at her other daughter.
"You could have just asked" Alex grinned.
"Excuse me what did you just say?" Regina asked.
"I will deliver your message to Henry" Alex explained slowly, approaching the adults.
"Why should we trust you?" Emma questioned back.
"I guess you can't but it your only option" Alex smirked.
"I suppose here take this" Regina instructed snapping the small hand mirror in half. "Give this to Henry".
"I will" Alex agreed taking the mirror she stashed it in her pocket.
Quickly, Alex turned and headed to the edge of the clearing she hated long conversations with people whom she hated. "Why are you helping us?" Emma called after Alex.
"Peter Pan is not the only one who love playing games" Alex smirked rushing back into the forest.
