A/N- Here is chapter ten to this story. Hope you like it. I'm also going to have Neji not knowing that Naruto has the nine tailed fox until someone tell him.
Chapter Ten: Chunin Exams Part 3.7
Sakura looked up to see Anubis looking at her. "Anubis, please help us." He nodded and turned to the enemies and attacked with ferociously and as soon the battle was quickly over. Hyuuga-san and Gaara-san along with Ami-san were at Sakura's side. Each were looking at her with looks of shock.
"We need to go now." Sakura ordered out. Her breathing was hard and she was tired. She looked at Anubis and dispelled her Jutsu, making him disappeared back. Sakura placed her hand into her pouch and pulled out a chakra restoration pill. After swallowing it, she felt better as her chakra went sky high first then came back down.
She healed herself first and then turned to see her team all looking at her. "What?" She asked.
"How did you do that?" Yura asked. Her face was in shocked.
"The battle?" Sakura questioned back.
"No, I mean summon the king of the canines. Anubis…" she whispered the name out.
"Oh. Canines are my summons. I mostly do wolves and foxes. This was the first time that I summoned Anubis wasn't sure that he came through." Sakura uttered. "I'm glad he did, we were losing and speaking of losing. We are losing time to get to the children and back home."
They nodded their heads and jumped back into motion. Sakura jumped after them as she looked around to see no one around all but the dead bodies on the ground waiting for the animals to eat them. They travel two hours before, they came across the pack of wolves, Sakura summoned the first time.
Sakura thanked them for their help and dismissed them back to their home. Hours passed when Sakura had told them to stop for the night. She made sure that all the injuries were healed were truly gone. Yura had thanked her for saving her life.
Sakura blushed at this and wondered over to each of her teammates and made sure that they were okay before making sure the children were asleep. She could feel Hyuuga-san eyes on her when she went by her. She knew that he had questions about her technique, she hoped that he wouldn't ask about it here. So far, she was right about him not asking her.
Neji watched Haruno-san as she went about her medic duties and made sure that they were okay. His mind went back to her technique and wondered how she did it. However, she was busy and away from him. His eyes went back and forth as she moved to Ami, Gaara and the kids to Yura with new plans.
Finally, she got to him, Neji was already to ask her when she sat down and moved her glowing green hands over his form. Healing the cuts and bruises fast and easily anything else was healing not was fast. His twisted ankle for one took an extra five minutes to heal.
"Haruno-san, your skills are better. How have you been training with? And what about that technique you called Cherry Blossom Heaven Rotation?" It's like my clan's technique." He softly asked.
Sakura looked at him and stated," Yes, my skills are better than before. My skills back then were debauched and to call myself a Kunoichi. I trained with Tsunade mostly and then got Shizune to teach me about poisons. I ask for some from Kurenai for some Genjutsu training. She helped me create some new ones that only I could use."
She passed and looked around again and turned back to him." Before the Chunin exams, Tsunade and Shizune were much to busy to train with me and all the other sensei were too. Tenzo, an ANBU member and his team trained me after that for one month. "
"As for my technique, I did get the idea from seeing you use it the first time in the match against Naruto. With my technique I had to understand my chakra points and how they work and all. It was a hard task to do. On the plus side, if someone could replica my technique, they would need perfect chakra control like me. So, any one with the Sharingan could try and copy it but can't use it," Sakura finished. "Done."
Her hands stopped glowing on his arm. She pulled away from him and placed on hand to her arm. Neji activated his Byakugan, he watched her analyze her own body when a new thought came to him.
"Haruno-san, who were those cloaked people?" He asked. Sakura paused for a moment then looked at the other two before, she stood up. "Hyuga-san, let's patrol. Gaara, you are in charge until we come back."
Gaara nodded his head at her. Neji stood up and both teammates walked away and into the woods around them. They walked for a few minutes, as Sakura leaned down and motioned for him to do the same thing. She had started to place traps around the camp site before, she opened her month.
"This can't be said to anyone. This is a big secret. Promise me." Sakura said as she looked at Hyuga-san.
He nodded his head at her. "What do you know about the nine tailed fox?"
"Only that it tried to destroy Konoha thirteen years ago and that the Fourth Hokage defeated it." He replied.
"Not defeated it, just sealed it. He sealed it inside of his son. Naruto…. his Lord Fourth's son… He holds the nine tailed fox. The people you saw, they after it. They already tried getting it from Naruto once before but Jiraiya saved him." Sakura uttered.
Hyuga-san looked at her in shock but it made sense about it too. He seen Naruto using different chakra then his owe with the match against him. "How do you know?"
"I read it from the Hokage library, Tsunade gave me permission to read anything from there if I can break the seal. I know a few other things as well and no; I'm not going to tell you. Hyuga-san. So, what are you going to do about Naruto when he comes back?" Sakura answered and then asked.
"I'm going to be his friend. I'm not scared of him. "Hyuga-san uttered.
Sakura nodded at him and continued to sent traps around the camp with Hyuga-san watching t of enemies. She placed many types of traps by the end she was weary that she used more of her chakra that she didn't truly have at full levels yet.
Sakura stood up and wavered until Hyuga-san gently steady her. "Thanks." Sakura uttered to him. His eyes narrowed at her and without a word. He picks her up and carried her back to the camp, before walking into camp. He placed her on her feet, so she could walk on her owe.
Sakura was in shocked at this but didn't voice anything out. She walked into the camp and Gaara nodded his head at her and Hyuga-san.
Neji thought about what Haruno-san told him. It amazed him that doing that technique once had given her the ability to study it and create a new form to it. He knew his tenketsu areas and knew that Haruno-san possible had a hard time finding them but also using it as well. It was astonishing for Haruno-san to do. She as of right now, is the only one that could possible defend one of them.
It was mind blowing. Her technique was also different from his clan. She was able to stop in full circle and her technique was sill spinning. He had to try it out and see if it was stronger. His family was going to be in shock when they see it. His uncle or grandfather… he didn't know what they would say about it.
His thoughts also went to what Haruno-san said about Naruto. It made more sense now to him. Naruto treatment from the village all made sense. He frowned at this as well. They should be treating him better then that. He is keeping everyone safe.
He looked around to see Gaara looking at him and he also had a demon sealed inside of him. Naruto had battled him and won. Gaara had changed with Naruto's help.
Sakura placed Gaara on duty first. She pulled out her bed scroll and laid beside the children. Ami took her other side and Hyuga-san was surprising he placed his behind hers. She closed her eyes and went sleep. Gaara would be wake for six hours before they were on the move again.
Gaara looked around and placed his early warning sand lines before the traps that Haruno-san and Hyuga-san placed down. He sat down and looked around the camp. He would wake everyone in six hours to get moving.
Hours passed and Gaara walked over to them and gently shook the sleeping members of his team. With five minutes, they cleaned out and raced towards the designation.
He kept a look out for enemies again. It was near lunch when they were no attacks.
Sakura looked at her team and pushed them forward. By going at their speed, they should be at their locations within ten hours. This is with s few bathrooms breaks as the kids were with Ami and herself carrying them.
Hyuga-san was behind them with his eyes on. He and Gaara would be the defensive for them. No attacks came so far. She hoped that was the last of them.
Many hours passed by as they raced from tree to tree and into new country and eating. Then made lots of time as towards the Land of Claws.
Sakura had everyone stopping to rest and made sure that the kids were okay.
"In coming!" Neji yelled.
Sakura had enough of this and punched the ground hard, breaking it up as she pick up each piece and threw it at the enemies that came. "Hyuga-san you're in charge now get the kids to safety. I'll buy the time."
"Don't argue with me." Sakura order. She knew her team was almost chakra exhausted and just plain exhausted.
"Fūton: Renkūdan Tsubute!" [1] "Sakura called out. Her technique took out five of the ninja's coming at her. She glared at her team as Hyuga nodded his head.
"You heard her." She heard he say. Yuri was racing towards the enemy as well." Yuri. Go with them."
Yuri stopped and looked at Sakura with a confused look. Sakura must have given something away as she too nodded her head and raced towards the team.
Sakura ready herself for battle as she counted more then fifteen ninjas. The number was down from forty or so, however Sakura could sense more coming her way. She had to buy more time.
"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu." [2] Sakura command out. While she didn't have the chakra reserves like Naruto to make clones. She can perform the technique with less chakra and she can make six clones for herself.
They all raced in different areas and stood ready. Sakura could see that two were doing hand seals of the tiger and knew what water ones were being used.
"Suiton: Teppōdama." [3] Clone Sakura on the far left called out. She shot out four large water balls at the enemies on her end.
"Suirō no Jutsu." [4] The clone on the right said. Three large prisons made from water trap three of the enemy. It was only a matter of time before the three were dead.
"Mizu Tatsumaki!" [5] The enemy called out.
The fight went on as Sakura was growing leery with Chakra fatigue. She could only do four more techniques before she was killed or out of chakra. She had healed cuts and burn marks on her body.
She only hoped that her team was far away from area and was safe. Her breathing was coming out hard and strong as she dodges a swift kick from one but went into a punch and kick combo.
SNAP! Sakura heard her two ribs were broken. She jumped back and hissed in pain. She knew if she healed the injuries. She would have nothing left. The first enemy group was dead and her clones were gone. It was the second and third groups that were now here. Over twenty-five of them were trying to get passed her and she wasn't allowing them. A fourth group came up and waited. This group had thirteen more.
Throwing shuriken's at them, she fighting with two kunai in hand was going to take forever to do. Specially now that she two broken ribs.
Doton: Retsudo Tenshō [6] The ground beneath her and around her broke up or down as small rocks graced her legs and arms as she jumped from one rock to another rock. Five of them were using this technique.
"Fūton: Reppūshō!" [7] She called out and released, her hands together made a strong gale she threw five kunai's in it and watched as they torn into the enemy hearts and head. Three were killed before they hit the ground. Blood dripping and pooling around their bodies. No more of that technique going on.
Sakura jumped back and was ready to fight again. Three of them charged at her fast. She was punch hard making her hit two trees before falling onto her knees. Her chest hurt more, as she knew one rib had pierce her lung. She blocked one attack as she crushed his hand. She pulled him forward she punches his chest hard making her hand go through his body.
Sakura wanted to puke at this but this wasn't the time to be sensible. She pulled back her hand and dropped him as she rolled away from a sword that would have cut her head off.
Dodging swipe after swipe, the female that held it cut into her arm hard. Sakura's another hand took the sword and pulled hard. She twisted it around hard and plunge it into her head.
"Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu." [8] Sakura knew of this attack and quickly called out," Suiton: Mizuame Nabara." [9] The water like syrup coated the ground around her fast and was slowly growing bigger.
The earth ground clones started to come up but was getting stuck in the syrup. Sakura was bleeding from her wounds more and with each breath she felt her lung filling up with blood. Soon, she would be coughing up blood.
"Doton: Dochū Senkō." [10] Sakura looked down seconds to late, a large form hit her fast going upwards. Sakura felt more bones breaking under the hit and falling into the trees after the person had attacked her.
She stood up with struggling as her blood dripped from her wounds onto the ground. She counted again to see eighteen enemies that were still alive. She bit her lip hard as her eyes became force again.
"Kirigakure no Jutsu."[11] Sakura muttered out. A large mist covered her and all the enemies. Sakura took out her last kunai and swiftly killed four of them. She breathed roughly now as she slowly started to send healing chakra to her bigger wounds.
"Fūton: Taifūikka." [12] Sakura cursed at this as she hidden mist jutsu was blown away. She killed three more before. The mist was gone. Eleven were left and making they way at her.
Sakura had to call on her remaining chakra, she had to stop healing her wounds and quickly did the hand seals. "Kamaitachi no Jutsu." [13] Her hands rose up and down quickly and made a large like fan. Sakura fainted from chakra exhaustion as she was turned over. Her eyes went opened to see two enemies ready to kill her.
Sand shot at them and dragged them away.
"Haruno-san!" Her name was called. Her eyes closed as she felt her wounds screaming at her while she was pick up.
Yuri and Ami wrapped the wounds on Sakura as much as they knew how to heal. They both were amazed by this teen. Taking out so many of the enemy and came out alive. Hyuga-san had gotten them quickly to the house and left in a quickly to get back to Sakura. They came onto her side, with the last technique that she had called out.
Then Gaara killed the two that were not killed in that attack.
"Sakura-san…" Ami muttered to her. Yuri wrote in her book on this mission.
Her eyes widen as she heard Sakura groaning. "Where?"
"You are safe now. We are going back to Konoha. You need to rest." Yuri ordered Sakura to do.
Sakura closed her eyes again and fell asleep.
Neji stood outside the tent where Haruno-san was resting. His mind went back to her wounds. Bleeding out of each and every one of them and they were many of them.
"Damn her! She should have not taken on all of them." Neji thoughts went to when he got to her. He had to pick her up. Her voice had hissed and groaned in pain as her blood dripped onto the ground and onto his clothes.
Not that he minds blood on him. It was from Haruno-san. The leader of this mission that was completed thanks to her for holding off the enemy.
Once the group had gotten away from the area. He held Haruno-san to him as Gaara set traps and was looking for the enemy. The two females were setting up the tent for them to try and clean her wounds.
He would be carrying her back home. She needed to be care for with her wounds. He seen some chakra points block. He didn't know what. He assumed it might be from broken bones. Two hours had passed since they got here.
It was time to move again. He walked into the tent and looked at Yuri.
"We did the best we can. I had to splint her arms and legs where I could feel the bones. She in bad shape. Tsunade or Shizune needs to heal her." Yuri said.
Neji took Haruno-san form and cradled her to his chest and moved back. He looked as the females took down the tent fast. Soon they were racing back home. It seemed to take a longer time to get the Land of Claws but not home.
They just passed into fire country and were making good time when Haruno-san woke up coughing up more blood. He stopped and turned her to the side and let her get all the blood out of her mouth. His eyes widen as he heard her weakening from it. He placed her down.
"Haruno-san, what do I do?" He questioned.
Her eyes blink opened and closed back and forth when he weak reply came out," Plunge lung."
Neji had no clue on what to do with that type of wound. He gathered her with speed and with the group raced forward.
Haruno-san was going to die if she didn't get healed. He looked at her and noticed green chakra trying to heal her chest…her lung wound. His mind was rushing in calm fear. He didn't stopped until he saw the gates.
With a burst of speed, he could see a blond female waiting for the teams to come back.
"Hokage!" Ami called out." Sakura needs you!"
Tsunade gasped at Haruno-san form. She took her from him and took off towards the hospital. The team rested against the side as they breathing slowed down and the others slowly came in.
Tsunade rushed into the hospital. "Shizune!" She placed Sakura down and ripped off the bandages that were on her.
"Oh Sakura. Please forgive me." She whispered as her hands glowed green. Shizune ran into the from and gasp. Her hands started to glow too.
They work two hours on Sakura lung and other broken bones, cuts and bruises. They were wondering what could have happened to her that gave her that many wounds. After the healing was done. Sakura was placed in a private room on third floor and Tsunade left Shizune with her.
She made her way back to the gates and was given all the scrolls and reports from the Chunins that went with them. She asked for Sakura's team to stay back.
"What happened?" She asked.
Neji took control and told her about the attacks and the last one. "How long were you gone?"
Neji thought about it." Four hours at the most."
Tsunade would have pick up her mouth at this when Kakashi overheard what was said." Four hours! Sakura…."
"She is fine and resting at the hospital. She has not wakened yet. She might do so any minute or time." Tsunade said. "You are dismissed. Get some rest."
Neji walked home and went inside. He moved quietly to his bedroom but was stopped by his uncle and Hinata walking his way.
"Neji, are you hurt?" Hiashi asked after seeing the blood.
"No, it was all Haruno-san blood. She was greatly injured. She is fine now." Neji said to them both, Hinata eyes widen then calmed down.
"Haruno-san. The one that defended you. Hinata." He replied.
Hinata nodded her head at her father. "Yes."
"Go and get some rest Neji. Tomorrow, you will go to the rest of the chunin exams." Hiashi told him.
Neji bowed to him and walked towards the bathing chambers. He walked into it, striping off his clothes. He walked over and sat down on the stool and placed hot water into a bucket. He washed himself from head to toe.
Using soap, shampoo and conditioner, Neji rinse off with new water and dry himself off. His mind was going back to Haruno-san and her moves and injuries. She had gotten stronger. He made his way to his room.
Shizune stayed by Sakura's side and gently smile when she heard Sakura moving in the bed. Her heart rate was fine. It would be sometime tomorrow that she would wake up. Tsunade had came back and told her about the mission.
She was very proud of Sakura but also worried. She should not take on that many enemies at that the same time. She would be upbraiding her on that. Tsunade would be too. Right now, Sakura out of the chunin exams.
Tsunade stated before she left that Sakura would be a chunin. She already heard whispers about Haruno Sakura from the other ninjas or the civilians. Sakura was becoming her own legend.
"Sasuke, did you hear?" Orochimaru said.
Sasuke looked at Orochimaru and nodded his head. Sakura passed the second part of the exams with little more than three days left in it. The third part…that shocked him. Taking on and out over seventy ninjas on her own. While he heard that she was injured badly by the end.
It still shocked him that she was able to take on that many without dying. He recalled all the jutsu's that she used and was very impressed by her. Of course, he knew that she has perfect chakra control and to use eight jutsu's in one long battle.
"Kabuto, have your spy follow her." Orochimaru ordered out.
Sasuke tuned out the rest and walked away from them. He already told Orochimaru that he wasn't going to have sex with Karin. However, he was told to donate. What he didn't know until Kabuto had told him.
He blushed as Kabuto had to tell him what to do and then he left the room. Sasuke had to touch himself. That was four days ago and his sperm was ready to impregnant a female. Orochimaru had told him that the first one was kunoichi named Ryuu Umi. He knew her from training. A sound ninja will a specialty for wind type jutsu's.
She would be okay. It seemed like reviving his clan was to begin soon.
Neji woke up and did his morning route. By the time, he was done he knew he had to get going. He wondered if Haruno-san woke up from her injuries. He took from his mind and walked towards the arena.
"Morning to all your participates to this Chunin exams," Tsunade called out. "We thank you for the teams and missions that you have done. Now with that said Haruno Sakura was badly injured on her lead mission. With the reports from Yuri, she is be passing the next part of the exam. The list is below, if it has your name on it you have passed this part. If your name is not on it. Please try again in six months."
One by one everyone got up and read the scrolls. Neji was secretly glad that Haruno-san would be passing this exam. His name was one the scroll along with Gaara and four others. The others groaned or moaned out loud.
They walked out of the arena and Neji and the others waited for Tsunade to tell them what is next.
"Since there is only seven of you. I had confirmed that each of your has actually passed the chunin exams. All of you showed patience, leadership and calmness in all your missions. Leaf shinobi you are now Chunin's. Sand and the other lands ninja's your leader has begin given a detailed scroll on your skills. They will promote you." Tsunade said.
