Goku's palms clasped around the side of the couch as the immense pressure of the approaching power level dawned on him. Running to meet his wife outdoors, the visage of a tall man in brown and black armor greeted him. It was an odd sight to be sure, though the presence of his tail sent a chill down his spine. Who was this man, and why did he have a tail like him? All thoughts left his mind, however, when he spotted the knocked—out Tenshinhan held aloft by the figure.
"BROTHER! THERE YOU ARE!" The sound of Tenshinhan's body hitting the floor punctuated the long silence. Goku's breath began to pick up, becoming uneven at intervals. This man's power—HIS BROTHER, as he called himself—how was that much power possible? The sheer ki he emanated was like nothing he'd seen before! Only he was supposed to be that strong, and yet, this long haired fool seemed to boast it in loads.
"You… claim to be my brother. I highly doubt this. What trickery do I bear witness to." Goku crossed his arms indignantly at the scarred saiyan brute. Raditz simply responded with a pointed grin, and the casual wave of an arm.
"I am simply this strong, little brother. Years of training against the strongest warriors in the depths of space grants you such abilities. Though you do not seem to be wearing a scouter…" Raditz tapped his own ear-mounted device, scanning the young Kakarot for any odd changes. A power level of 630—the highest on this planet… nothing compared to his own, that was for sure. But it was a good enough starting place. Vegeta was amicable and quite persistent in training with others, the prince could help him. Goku's brother stepped forward.
"You see brother, it seems you have failed your mission."
Goku… paused. What mission? Then it dawned on him. The bloodlust he had dulled over the years with Bulma's assistance… was this some form of brainwashing? Goku would not stand for being controlled. He was the true strongest warrior in existence. Not Tenshinhan, not King Piccolo, and certainly not this long-haired fool.
"I will give you one chance to leave Muten Roshi's island. ONE. Do you understand me, weasel?" Goku began to approach the towering giant of a man. But suddenly, as soon as he appeared, Raditz vanished.
And everything went black.
