"Good morning sleeping beauty." Purvi heard as she walk in kitchen and smile slightly at Anaya.
"Good morning." Purvi wish the morning to her friend and take her seat on the stool by the counter.
"Here. Your breakfast." Anaya says and put a plate of steaming food in front of her. Purvi smile in thanks and dig in.
Last Night, after confessing and pouring her heart out to Kavin, they went back to the event until it was time for them to leave. When they came, Purvi insist Kavin to go home when he got a call from his mother. She could tell he didn't want to leave her alone but she also know that if she didn't send him away she would tell him about all the Madhu blackmailing her and threaten to send jail thing.
It is not that she wanted to keep it to herself, she did want to share it someone to lighten her heart but she know if she tell him then he would argue her to leave the company and he will arrest Madhu for the blackmailing which Purvi didn't want.
"Where were you lost?" Purvi snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Anaya voice near her ear and look at her.
"Nowhere." Purvi shrugged and continue to eat her breakfast making Anaya rolled her eyes at her friend.
"Purvi, I know you better then anyone and I can tell that you are hiding something. So tell me." Anaya demanded. Purvi sigh knowing that she couldn't get away without saying anything.
"It is about Mrs. Mathur. Yesterday after you called me, she came into my room..." Purvi started to tell her everything that Madhu told her. How Madhu trapped her in the acting CEO position. How Madhu would send her to prison if she didn't complete the contract that she sign. How Madhu hated her.
"I am tires of all this, Anaya. I can't take it anymore." Purvi says and look down at the half empty plate. Anaya sigh and put her hand on her shoulder before making her look at her.
"Purvi, I know it is hard for you and I am still offering you my help to pay everything off." Anaya says softly. Purvi look at her and shake her head slowly.
"I know but right now I just want to give this one last try and if I wasn't able to get more money then I will ask for your help." Purvi says politely turning her offer down for now. Purvi wanted to give one last try for her Dad sake.
"Hello, ladies." Anaya and Purvi jumped in surprise when they heard a yelling voice from some distance.
"Seriously? Do you really have to scare us like that?" Anaya asked the person getting annoyed. Purvi chuckle lightly and finish off her breakfast as the two friends playfully insult each other.
"By the way, how did you even get in here?" Purvi asked stopping the playful fight. Anaya look and raised her eyebrow.
"Yeah, because as far as I remember, I didn't give you a key of my apartment." Anaya asked and narrowed her eyes when her friend holds up a key.
"Your boyfriend let me borrow it." Kavin says and throw it toward Anaya for her to catch.
"Anyways, he is waiting for you down in the parking." Kavin sit on Purvi stool when she stood up to put her plate in the sink.
"Oh, shoot. I forgot. We have get over some presentation for the new project." Anaya says and was about to walk away but stop when Purvi called her.
"Anaya, do you mind if I ask you something?" Purvi cross her arm and slowly walk toward her friend. Anaya nodded her head and look at Purvi in confusion. "Am I even your best friend?"
"What kind of question is that? Of course, you are my best friend. Wait, you are my only friend beside this idiot." Anaya pointed at Kavin and stuck her tongue out at him when he glare at her playfully.
"Is that so? Then how come I didn't get to meet your boyfriend? Huh?" Purvi raised her eyebrow and look at her in mock anger. Anaya swallow and glance at Kavin when he smirk because he know that Anaya is actually trying not to tell Purvi who her boyfriend is.
"It is because when we start dating, I lost contact with you and since we start talking again, you were stuck in your problem so I didn't get a chance to introduce you two. But I promise, you will meet him soon." Anaya says nervously and look at her friends.
"I have to go now. I will see you guys later. Take care. Bye." Anaya bid her goodbyes and hurriedly leave the apartment.
"What happened to her?" Purvi asked herself confused as her friend leave.
"She is always like that." Purvi jump slightly when she heard Kavin and turned around only to see him standing right behind her.
"You scared me." Purvi complained and rolled her eyes at his grin.
"I just doing what a friend would do. Anyways, what are you plans for today?" Kavin asked and saw as Purvi walk toward the sink and started to wash the utensils used for making and eating breakfast.
"Nothing. I was just going to check up on company status and answer some emails then I will be free for the day." Purvi shrugged and look beside her as Kavin pick up a small towel to dry out the plates to put it back. "What about you? Didn't you have to go on your job?"
"Nah. I take off today but if there would be any emergency then I will leave." Kavin told her. Purvi nodded and they finish their task before moving to living room. Purvi sit on the couch and pick up her laptop from the coffee table and start it up.
"Uh... Don't think that I am judging you or anything like that but why are you here? I mean, if today is your off from work, why don't you spend your day with your family?" Purvi asked nervously as she didn't want him to think that she didn't want him to be here with her.
"Honestly, my Mom already have plans for the day while my brother is spending his day in making presentation with his girlfriend and I didn't have any friend that I would like to spend my day with." Kavin shrugged and pick up to remote to switch on the Tv on the wall.
"Oh, Okay." Purvi mumble and soon got busy in her work.

"Kavin, let me do my work." Purvi sigh and glared at him when another popcorn hit her cheek.
"I am not stopping you from doing your work." Kavin says innocently and throw a few popcorns in his mouth with a grin. Purvi rolled her eyes and get back to her work.
"If you don't mind, can I ask you a personal question?" Kavin look at her carefully to see her reaction but she didn't even look at him.
"It depend how personal your question is." Purvi says and give him a sideway glance before concentrating on her work.
"Do you know the reason why you were put in adoption?" Purvi fingers stop working at Kavin question. Purvi stare at the screen and think to answer his question.
"No, I don't know the reason but I do want to know it." Purvi says softly and look at him. She always think what would be the reason that her parents didn't want her. She always think if they are alive or dead.
"Do you want me to that for you?" Kavin asked her gently and leaned forward to hold her hand. Purvi swallow and nodded slowly.
"Can you really do that?" Purvi asked him hopefully making him smile slightly. Purvi eyes filled with tears.
"Yeah. I can do that. I will need your adoption papers for that." Kavin says. Purvi nodded and wipe her cheeks when a few tears fall from her eyes.
"I will give it to you tomorrow." Purvi told him. She know that Rajan put the adoption papers in his locker.
"Great. Now stop working and watch movie with me." Kavin says and leave her hand to close her laptop and give her a playful glare when she was about to protest. Kavin put the popcorn bowl in the middle and resume the movie he was watching.
"Turn it off." Kavin says with annoyed look as a phone ring break in silence in between them.
"I will be right back." Purvi says when she notice an unknown number and walk away before Kavin could say anything. He frown and sit straight before pausing the movie. Kavin phone buzzed on the coffee table and leaned forward to grab it only to see a message from one of his old friend.
"What?" Kavin heard Purvi shocked voice and quickly went to her.
"A-are you sure? I-I mean, this is not a joke right?" Purvi asked nervously and looked up when she feel someone presence and saw Kavin at some distance. He was confused when he saw tears filling in her eyes and nodding at whatever the person on the other line says.
"Okay. I will be there tomorrow morning. Thank you so much." Purvi says and hung up. Kavin saw as her hand shakes slightly and quickly walk toward her to comfort her.
"What's wrong?" Kavin asked her softly and make her sit on the bed before sitting beside her.
"Dad..." Purvi trailed off not knowing what to say. She still can't believe what the man on the call told her. Purvi wipe her eyes, shaking her head and look at Kavin with a smile.
"Dad had insurance a few years back and now the insurance company get to know about his death so they want me to claim it." Purvi told him. Kavin smile at her and saw as she leaned forward to wrap her arms around his neck.
"I am so happy and relieved right now, Kavin." Purvi says and a tear escape from her eye.
"Hey, you don't have to cry for anything now. I am sure with this insurance, you can pay off the debt now." Kavin says and pulled back. Purvi nodded and wipe her face again.
"Yeah. Insurance is around 1 crore but according to a clause that Dad added to the agreement is that, I get 70% off that insurance and the rest will be given to Mrs. Mathur." Purvi inform him. Kavin look at her face and saw how much happy a single call made her.
"So, when are you going to get it?" Kavin asked her. Purvi look at him and shrugged.
"I don't know right now but tomorrow they want to meet to fill in some forms and start the process." Kavin nodded and told her to take some rest before leaving her room.

"I am sorry, I won't be able to go with you." Kavin says and he drive toward the bureau. He had his airpods connected to his phone as he talk.
"No, don't say sorry. You've already done so much for me. I will be okay there by myself." Kavin heard Purvi soft voice and smile slightly as he stop his car when he saw the traffic light red.
"Okay then. Take care and give me a call if you need me there." Kavin says and they bid their goodbyes before hanging up. Kavin pick up his phone from the passenger seat and dial another number.
"What you want now?" A grumble voice asked as the called was answered. Kavin sigh and shake his head.
"Seriously? You are still sleeping? It is almost 8 in the morning." Kavin says making the person annoyed.
"Hey, I will wake up whenever I want. Just tell me what you want or I am hanging up." The person threaten to cut the call. Kavin saw as the light change and started to move his car.
"Anaya listen, I have important case to handle today. I want you to go with Purvi at insurance company and make sure everything goes smoothly." Kavin told his friend and saw as the bureau came in his view.
"Okay. I will go there with her. Now let me sleep." Anaya says and was about to cut the call when Kavin stop her.
"I don't get it. Why you both talk so much at night when you guys see each other in morning?" Kavin asked her confused as he pulled in the parking of the building.
"You will get it after you confess your love for Purvi and talk with her all night long." Anaya tease and hung up before he could say anything.
Kavin heart skip a beat thinking about confessing his love for Purvi. He is still not sure if he really love her or not but he do know that he like her and like spending time with her. He don't know if Purvi feels the same or not but he do know that she likes him as a friend or else she wouldn't tell him about her problems.
Kavin snapped out of his thought when he heard a knock on the close window of his car and saw as his colleague Sachin nodded at him to come inside. Kavin nodded back and saw as he walk away. He takes a deep breath before stepping out of his car to join other officers in bureau to discuss about the important case.
"You don't to come with me. I can manage it by myself." Purvi says as Anaya drive toward the insurance company office.
"Right. If I didn't go with you then he would lecture me." Anaya says with annoyed look. Purvi was confused for a few minutes before a small smile came on her face.
"Kavin told you to go with me?" Purvi asked her and saw as Anaya shot a glare before looking back at the road.
"Yeah. Sometimes, I really hate him. And when he disturbed me while I was sleeping, I just wanted to kill him." Anaya confess and sigh when Purvi chuckle at her friend.
"Anyways, tell me what you boyfriend do?" Purvi asked trying to change the topic. Anaya look her from the corner of her eyes and swallow nervously.
"He look after his Dad business. Our Dads are business friends so sometimes we work together on the same project." Anaya told her trying not to tell her something that may ruin their friendship.
"Oh, Okay." Purvi nodded and look out of her window. Anaya sigh silently when she saw Purvi didn't question any further. Purvi can tell Anaya is trying to hide something of her boyfriend but was confused, why?
"We are here." Anaya announced as she park the car on the side. Purvi look and saw the Insurance company building.
Everything went smoothly as Anaya deal with everything ignoring Purvi protest. Purvi just fill up some forms and give the death certificate to the agent and wait for them to start the process.
"When can we claim the money?" Anaya asked Purvi as she walk out of the agent office.
"By the end of this week. It will be perfect because contract with Mr. Verma is going to end next week and I will also receive payment from some new designers from which I can pay off bank loans and give employees salary and after that I can resign from my position." Purvi says and they both walk out of the building.
"Do you want to grab something to eat?" Anaya asked as they sit in the car. Purvi shrugged and put on her seat belt.
"Sure." Purvi reply and they pulled on the street. Anaya speed up to the nearest breakfast restaurant to get some breakfast.

"I want a few slices of toast with scrambled eggs and hash brown on the side. As for drink, I will have a Iced Coffee." Anaya give her order as they sit comfortably on their seats.
"I will have a cappuccino for now." Purvi says when the waiter look at her. He nodded and walk away. Purvi phone vibrate on the table, she grabbed it and a smile appear on her face when she read Kavin message of asking how things goes. She give him a quick reply with some details before putting it back on the table. Purvi eyes met Anaya's and saw her staring at her.
"What?" Purvi asked confused when her friend didn't look away from her. Anaya leaned forward and put her hands on the table.
"It was Kavin message, wasn't it? Huh?" Anaya asked and smirk as Purvi face turn light pink and smile nervously.
"Yeah, he was just asking about how things goes." Purvi told her trying to sound normal. Anaya raised her eyebrow at her friend.
"I don't get why he is so much concern about you?" Anaya asked watch closely her reaction on this topic.
"Umm... We are friends, that is why?" Purvi says but it ended up like a question. Purvi frown at her answer and look out of window trying to think if this was really an answer of the question or not.
"Friends? My dear friend, he doesn't see you a friend anymore. He likes you and that is why he is trying his best to solve your problems and helps you to get your freedom." Anaya says trying to make her understand how Kavin feels about her.
"No, he doesn't like me. He shouldn't be liking someone like me." Purvi mumble the last sentence and shake her head. She was sure that she likes him alot but she know he don't deserve her. He deserve so much better then her.
"What you mean that he shouldn't be liking someone like you?" Anaya asked confused making Purvi look at her. Purvi sigh and leaned back on her chair.
"I mean, he shouldn't like a messed up a person like me. It is not that I don't deserve him. It is just that he deserve so much better than me. He deserve a woman who came from a good family, have a good job and want to make her career. It doesn't sound like me. I have no family, I don't have a proper job and I don't even know what I am going to do in future." Purvi told her and look as the waiter serve them their food before walking away.
"Purvi, don't think like that about yourself. I am not only your friend, but your family as well. You are like a sister to me and you will always have your Dad with you no matter where you go. As for career and job, I would suggest you to keep your focus on event planning and management. It is your interest and I know one day you will be successful in that." Anaya says and leaned forward to grab her friends hand and give it a soft squeeze. Purvi smile slighlty and nodded before they continue with their breakfast.

"What you mean that she changed her mind?" Kavin asked as he follow Anaya in the kitchen.
"I don't know. I am just saying what she ask me to tell you." Anaya says and rolled her eyes before putting her plates in the sink.
"I don't get it. Why she wants to you tell me. Why doesn't she wants to face me?" Kavin asked her confused. Anaya sigh and turned to face him knowing he would bug her until she tell him the reason.
"Because she think that she doesn't deserve you. She thinks that you deserve someone better then her." Anaya told him. Kavin look frown and raised his eyebrow to let her clear the confusion. Anaya told him what two friends discuss over the breakfast this morning.
"She is thinking completely wrong." Kavin mumble and look away from Anaya. Kavin turned around and walk out of kitchen.
"Where are you going?" Anaya asked as she quickly follow him. Kavin stop as he hold the knob of the front door and turned to face her.
"I am going to talk to her." Kavin says before turning back to the door.
"Did you even know where she will be right now?" Anaya asked before he could leave. Kavin look over his shoulder to her and nodded before walking out of the door. Kavin take the elevator to go down in the parking and drive toward the place where he know, he will find her.
After 30 minutes, Kavin pulled his car over the side of the road and quickly came out. He look around and saw some people still walking around on the sand. Kavin started to walk toward the place where he safe Purvi a few weeks back from falling. As he get closer to the boulders he saw a figure sitting on the top and stop for a few minutes. He saw as she look up at the sky and the moonlight shine on her face. Kavin resume his walk and started to step on the boulders to go up.
"Why are you sitting here at this time?" Kavin asked as he stop on the top and saw as she snapped her head toward him.
"What are you doing here?" Purvi asked as she saw Kavin sitting beside her. Kavin look forward at the shining water before shrugging.
"I just came to talk." Kavin answer her answer and heard her sighing. Purvi look down at her hands and trying to find a way to tell him to stop talking and seeing her.
"I am not in mood right now. Please leave me alone." Purvi says without looking at him.
"I didn't came here to leave, Purvi. I wanted to talk about something." Kavin says and hold her hands making her looked up at him.
"I-l told you, I-l am not in mood to t-talk about anything." Purvi stutter it out and trying to pull her hands away from his.
"Why? Why you don't want to talk to me? Did I do something wrong?" Kavin asked her even though he know the actual reason but he wanted to hear it from her. Kavin tighten his grip when she again tried to pull her hands out.
"No, you didn't do anything wrong. I just..." Purvi trailed off and take a deep breath. "I just don't want you to feel pity for me anymore. I can take care of myself and I will pay off everything back that I get from your help. Please just stop all this. I don't want to be your friends anymore." Purvi look down at her hands when she feels it free. She looked up at Kavin and saw his blankness on his dark brown eyes that make her feel safe in her difficult time.
"So, you think I pitied you and be friends with you? Huh?" Kavin asked her with emotionless voice. Purvi swallow nervously and nodded slowly.
"You wants to repay me? Fine, then pay me back everything by the end of this week." Purvi look at him in surprised when he says that but nodded again.
"Okay." Purvi whispered and her heart clench as she saw his eyes glistening slightly with water before he look away shaking his head.
"You are not Purvi. You are someone else. You aren't the woman, who I fall for." Kavin says softly without looking at her. Hearing her whatever she says make him realise how much his heart break and how much he love this woman.
Purvi forward her hand to put it on his shoulder but pull it back. Kavin close his eyes and takes a few deep breaths before standing up. Purvi heart break as she saw him leaving from there without even glancing at her. Purvi eyes filled with tears and rubbed her chest when she feels some pain. Purvi close her eyes and inhale deeply to control on herself.
