I do not own Loud House it belongs to Nickelodeon or Star Wars since it's own by Lucasflim and Disney.
An infiltration team assembled in front of a U-wing. The team consists of two humans male and female, a Sullustan, a Rodian, and two droids a grey protocol and a reprogrammed seeker droid who beeps a series of questions.
The protocol droid D2B1 replies to his companion. "I don't know why the general has called on us JX9. But it must be important."
The Rodian looked to the Sullustan who went into a conversation on what the general could possibly need, along with a bet on who would win on the next sabacc game in one of the bunks.
Their conversation were cut short when Derek cried out, "General on deck!"
The team stood in attention in front of general Brock who strode in with a holo-pad. "At ease everyone." He ordered calmly, the group relaxes but in a professional way. Jane immediately decided to ask the big question, "What's the mission general?"
"Your going to be infiltrating the imperial storage station above Cal-Five."
"The one above the star?" Derek asked which Brock nodded. "The very same. Now your mission is to get information on the defenses of Earth. The station has minimal security, so you shouldn't have to much trouble infiltrating the station, but be careful they could call in reinforcements if you're spotted."
"Permission to speak sir?" Derek asked.
"Granted."
"What is this Earth? And why do we need their defenses? Aren't we looking for a suitable place for a new base?"
"Originally yes, but as you know by now we picked up an unexpected passenger earlier."
"You mean the kid who was in that ship?" Jane asked.
Brock nodded, "He's from a planet in a different galaxy."
"A different galaxy. Oh my that's impressive." D2B1 exclaims.
Brock nods again, "Indeed it is D2B1, but unfortunately as your most likely aware of, the Empire has taken over his planet. The kid really wants us to help, so I've figured that we could help free it."
Jane nods in understanding, "So that's why you want us to get their defenses."
Brock nods again, "Affirmative."
"Don't worry general will get those readouts." Derek reassured.
"Alright move out, and may the force be with you." Brock leaves the hanger, leaving the team to quickly load up what they need for the mission.
Having what they needed the team loads into the U-wing; Groc the Rodian gets into the pilot seat while Hearhorn the Sullustan situates himself on the co-pilot seat, Derek, Jane and D2B1 sat down with JX9 situated on the protocol droid's back.
Lincoln in a slump is walking past the doorway when the engines of the U-wing catches his attention. Looking into the hanger, he watch in astonishment as the ship lifted up; it goes out of the hanger while the roof opened up.
The U-wing flies out of the Savior, it turns left where the ship flew under a Nebulon-B Friget, past the front of a blockade runner. The U-wing flies a short distance away from the fleet, then jumped into hyperspace.
Back on the Savior, Lincoln stood in the hanger watching the roof close back up. Despite still feeling slumped about his planet, he had to admit that seeing that ship leaving the hanger was pretty cool.
Lincoln also had to wonder what was going on? He may not be an expert on the various starfighters held through out the hanger bays, but that one looked like a troop transport. The question is though; where are they going?
Through the calmness of hyperspace the crew of the U-wing were going over a plan of infiltration. JX9 displayed a halo-map of the station, while D2B1 pointed at various spots around the station. "As you can see they got senors on each of the hangers, as well as the walkways leading to the station."
Hearhorn let's out a disgruntle sound, "You've said it Hearhorn." Derek agreed, "Not many places to land."
"Actually sir." D2B1 spoke up, "The sensors aren't that great at the bottom of the station due to the interference from the star."
Jane has her hand on her chin, "I see, so if we stick to the bottom, their sensors won't detect us."
"Precisely Jane."
Derek studied the bottom of the station, looking for a hatch to enter in, he eventually found one near the middle. Derek points to it, "Well land there, then make our way to the information deck."
"Sounds like a plan." Jane exclaimed.
A beeping noise then goes off from the cockpit, Groc gives them the word that they were approaching the system, Hearhorn quickly situates himself in the co-pilot seat, and pulled down a lever.
The U-wing comes out of hyperspace a good distance away from Cal-Five, a safe enough distance that wouldn't get them detected from the sensors. The station floated above the star; lighting the bottom in a reddish color while the rest is standard imperial color, the star itself erupted in brilliant solar flares.
"There it is." Derek exclaimed, he turns to Groc. "Lower us down and head for these coordinates, but not too close as we don't want those solar flares to disrupt our equipment. Also keep an eye out for any Tie patrols, even if their sensors can't see us, they can still see us visually."
Groc lowers the ship towards the bottom of the station, he kept a safe distance until he figured that he reached the limit of the sensors. The ship flies above the star getting ever so closer to the station, Ties could be seen flying in squadrons above the station, one squadron flies past a transmission array.
The Ties disappeared once the U-wing went under the station, the hatch became visible, the U-wing flips upside down and lands on the hatch. Derek gets up with a blaster rifle in his hand, "Let's move out."
D2B1 raised his arm up, "Sir, I must warn you about the hatch."
Derek bends down, grabbing the bottom hatch of the U-wing. "Not now D2B1, we don't have much time as a Tie patrol could show up." Derek opens the bottom hatch, then grabbed the hatch of the station.
"But sir, that leads to a" Derek opens the hatch and is met with a horrible smell, "Trash compactor." The rest of the team covered their noses, Jane with disgust looked up to the open hatch. "Well that's just wonderful."
"Doesn't matter lets go, Groc keep the ship warmed up, D2B1 listen in on communications, the rest of you follow me." Derek ordered.
"Let's hope there's no dianoga in there." Jane quipped.
Derek, Jane, Hearhorn, and JX9 entered the compactor; the smell was horrible as they trudged through the dirty water filled with all sorts of garbage until they reached a door, Derek places his hand up signalling for the rest to stop.
"JX9, scan the area for any hostiles." JX9's antenna rose up, beeping noises emitted from the little droid for a couple seconds before the antenna went back down, and made a series of beeps.
"No hostiles?" Derek asked, JX9 beeped in confirmation. Derek let's out a sigh of relief, "That's good, now can you open the door?" JX9 moved to the terminal, where he stuck in his data probe; after a few turns the door open to one of the station's hallways.
Jane pats JX9 on the head gently, "Nicely done JX9."
Derek turns to the others with a raised arm, "Alright let's move out. Be careful though, we don't want to attract any stormtroopers." Derek leads his team out of the trash compactor and into the hallway, they quickly but quietly move through the the hallway.
They come to a conjunction to another hallway, voices causes Derek to hold his hand up stopping the rest of his group in their tracks, they quickly pinned themselves against the wall and waited as two imperial officers passed by from right to left with their hands behind their backs.
Once clear Derek motions for the group to move forward to the conjunction, once there they looked left and right as they thought of which way to go. JX9 goes to the right, turned his head to face them while letting out silent beeps.
Derek nods in understandment, again he motions for the group to follow him, they had to slip into a utility station along the way as seven stormtroopers marched passed, once clear they continued onwards: turning corners and walking down the hallways, until at last they came to a corner.
Carefully Derek peeked out from the corner where he saw two stormtroopers guarding the entrance to the information deck. This would be a problem as they couldn't fire their weapons, if they did, it would alert the whole station.
Luckily there is a alternative, JX9 gets off his back and floated by his side, Derek gave the droid a nod.
The troopers stood guard with their blasters at hand, it was quite dull doing guard duty here as this station was so out of the way with so little information, that any rebels wouldn't even bother coming here. Still you couldn't be to careful as word came in that a group of rebels attacked an imperial outpost on Sullust a couple weeks ago.
The troopers then got a surprise when a seeker droid came out from behind a corner. What was a seeker droid doing here? They didn't have any available here, was Inferno Squad here on a surprise visit?
The droid flies above their heads, one of those arms extended out, before any of them could react the droid releases a deadly shock that dropped them dead. With those threats gone the group rushes to the door, "Good work JX9." Derek complimented.
Jane moves to the door controls, as she moves in to press it the others get their weapons ready. The doors open revealing a room with storage containers, and a catwalk with six stormtroopers on it.
The troopers immediately raised their blasters, while the sargent shouted. "Rebels have entered the information deck! Call for back up!" He was the first to fall as a blaster blot hit him in the head.
The troopers and the team engaged in a fire fight, blaster blots went in straight lines between the team who took cover near the containers and the stormtroopers who laid on the catwalk.
"JX9! Search for anything on Earth!" Derek yelled over the sounds of the blasters, JX9 flies over to a terminal while avoiding the blots, he quickly hacks into the files.
Jane fires and manges to hit a trooper in a headshot, she quickly dodges a blaster blot that sent sparks out from the container. Hearhorn pulls out a thermal detonator from his belt, activates it, then quickly threw it; the detonator lands in the middle of the catwalk and explodes throwing the troopers off it.
The troopers fall to the floor all but one were motionless, the one who survived got to his knees, but flew back dead from a blaster blot to the chest. The team breathed heavily from the fight, they kept their weapons steady for no doubt other imperials knew they were here now.
"Hurry it up JX9!" Derek urged, the droid beeps in response.
Derek's wrist com now began to go off, he switched it on as he held it close to his mouth. "Yes?" D2B1's voice calls out through the com. "Sir, I regret to inform you that the station is now on high alert to your presence."
"I'm quite aware of that B1."
"I suggest you hurry your search as their sending in a battalion of stormtroopers."
"Copy that." Derek shuts off his com, it sounded like they were going be in a fight, perhaps a loosing fight by the sound of it.
JX9 let's out a victory beep, he releases his arm from the terminal and flies to Derek. "I taken you got the information?" JX9 beeps in reply.
"Alright then let's get the hell out of here." The group quickly left the information deck, they move in a hurry down the halls; blasting any stormtroopers in their way, until at last they've reached the trash compactor.
They entered with blaster bolts going down the hallway, they run for the hatch, Jane turned around and fired a couple shots as blaster blots hit the dirty water. Derek opens the hatch, he provided cover as Jane and Hearhorn went down it, before he himself went in with JX9 on his back.
Derek settled himself on the seats next to Jane. "Get us out of here!" He ordered frantically. The U-wing rumbles as it detached itself from the hatch, it rights itself up and takes off, away from the station.
"Keep low, we don't want those turbolasers to lock onto us." D2B1 turns to Derek. "Sir, two squadrons of Ties are moving in."
"Great, make the jump into hyperspace now!"
Groc replies with that he and Hearhorn had to put in the calculations first. The Ties were coming in closer, the pilots locked in with their targeting computers.
Jane looked at the U-wing's sensors as they were now in firing range of the Ties. "Anytime now guys!"
Groc then makes a speech, with a push of the lever the ship plunges into hyperspace, leaving the Ties with their frustrated pilots behind.
Now in the safety of hyperspace Derek wiped the sweat off his forehead. "Well that was cutting it close."
"You said it." Jane agreed.
"JX9"
The droid floats in front of him. "Contact the General, time to tell him we got the information."
