In a secret underground bunker hidden deeply beneath Lumiose City was an evil but brilliant young man covered in grease and oil. His bright blonde hair as dirty as the jumpsuit and lab coat he held a tool in is hand working in circumstances most health and safety departments would shut down. An old metro station closed to the public, the flickering lights made it hard to see through his glasses but he persevered in trying to get his latest creation to work.

"Come on. Lousy, cheap…"

So into his work he didn't notice anyone entering his domain. The dark area made the center of the three feel right at home. Accompanied by two others dressed in black robes concealing their shapes they were even harder to spot. The middle man whispered to the figures to hide in the shadows. With a nod of their hood the two took their place.

"Clemont!" Hearing his name called he turned round. Even in the darkness he could see the distinct form of a wolf and only one man is crazy enough to wear it.

"Lucario? Bit early for you to come out isn't it?"

"It's night somewhere." The thief joked. The builder just reached into his lab coat threatening the villain to leave.

"Get out of here. I have nothing you value here." Clemont knew he wasn't interested in technology but rather old trinkets from a time gone by.

"I do have something you value. Power. How's your electricity bill?"

"Shut it." Ash hit the scientist in his sore spot trying to get him on his side. He continued.

"It's difficult to conduct your experiments and build your machines on double A batteries I assume. If only Lumiose City has more thunderstorms for a steady supply for you to tap off from. Or some source of heat to turn it into power."

"Unless you can provide me with a source of infinite power I don't want you here. The Egyptians were smart but electricity is not their specialty. Get out of here cause there's nothing you can offer me."

"Are you sure? I was going to offer you a job. I can use someone like you for what I got planned."

"No interest!" He pressed a remote button and around the hall doors slid open. Machines in the form of humans were beginning to boot up and their metal limbs propelled them forwards.

"Robots! Remove him!"

"Big mistake. Destroy them!" Lucario ordered the robed figures to attack the machines with him as they came out from the darkness. Leading head on the thief used his aura to punch a hole in one of the robots and pulled its wiring out. The two robed figures were dodging and weaving easily between the slow machines as they went to knock them over. Lucario formed an aura staff and slammed off the head of one as it rolled to Clemont. The inventor g getting more and more furious it wasn't until long that all the robots were non operational and a pile of scrap with some sparks of faulty circuitry.

Lucario picked up a torso and inspected it.

"Low quality machinery. Maybe I was wrong about you. I expected better." He tossed over the part to Clemont who was furious to him and his henchmen.

"Guess I'll find someone else then for my purpose." The lights in the room began to flicker. Clemont scurried to his generator in a hurry.

"You happy!? That last order drained my generator! I'm running on reserves!" He complained as Ash grinned under his mask. He waved both his partners over as he went to Clemont and easily lifted him up away from the generator.

"What are you doing!? We're about to go out!" The researcher powerless compared to the aura user he was waiting to reveal the robed figures at the perfect time.

"Good thing I have my own personal battery with me. Charge his generator."

"Yes." One of the robed people laid both her arms on the generator. A large screen that went out earlier showing the percentage of power lit back up and showed the power levels.

"Systems stable. Power capacity at 65%. No, 70%. 100% capacity!?" Clemont couldn't believe it thinking he needed a new pair of glasses.

"You can stop now." Ash told her as she laid her hands off the generator as the lights were fully on now as never before. He laid his hand of Clemont, setting him down gently as the thief moved towards the robed people. Clemont stunned needed to know.

"How did he do that!?"

"You misunderstand. It's not a he." Ash walked to the robed figure and removed the hood with the scientist recognizing the her facemask.

"Jolteon!? How?!" Ash removed the hood of the second one and the blonde truly thought the thief played mind tricks on him.

"Flareon!?"

"At ease Clemont. They won't attack you as long you don't strike first." He warned the scientist not to pull another robot out of his ass. Ash wouldn't be as forgiving as the first time.

"What are they doing with you?"

"They had a change of heart. Now they work for me. Isn't that right?"

"Yes boss." Both smiled as Clemont's perception of reality is even more challenged. Two of the Eevee sisters, sworn guardians of Lumiose City joined a man who had a rap sheet longer than Prism Tower itself.

"What about the other Eevee sisters? They won't stand for this. You might convince two to join you but the other six will stop you."

"They won't be a problem if you help me." Ash pretended as if he didn't had only two more to go. He'd just sick the other four he had on the scientist if he did something foolish or double crossed him. For now he'd keep his trump cards close to his chest.

"Back to our earlier conversation topic. I have a job for you. Are you interested now?"

"Can't you use those two for it?" Ash started to get impatient to Clemont's attitude.

"I won't ask again."

"Let's hear it." Clemont listening now the thief started to explain what he has in mind.

"Egypt was quite advanced for the time." His love for the subject known it was shared by archeologists and others as Egyptians were known as some of the first civilizations with a culture. If he was going to rule this town he way he wanted he needed help in some departments.

"I want some of that too for my new rule that I'm going to establish. You're a smart man and the budget you work on shouldn't make you a villain and a joke yet you're quite well known here for your technology."

"Get to the point and stop the bragging."

"We make a deal. You work for me from now on and I'll send Jolteon and Flareon a few times a week to give you all the power you need for your inventions and experiments. You'll be under my protection as well the Eevee sisters as I'll be making sure of that. Once I rule in this city I'll reward you more. I'll give you the Porygon factory here for the newest tech so you can build with the new stuff instead of going dumpster diving. I know how much you want that place for yourself."

The Porygon is the worlds largest computer company and industrialist. Every new piece of tech from a cell phone to computers used to launch rockets into space were designed by the company. Clemont was once rejected from a job interview after his idea for a laser weapon installed as a self defense item in phones was considered too dangerous for daily use. Stunned nobody at the company wanted a pocket laser weapon it bankrupted him as he put all his hopes on getting the job turning to crime to sustain himself.

"All the power I need and Porygon as mine?" Ash noticed he enticed Clemont. He just knew where to hit the right strings with some of his fellow criminals making them dance to him.

"Think about it. I'm giving you an opportunity of a lifetime. All I ask is you do a few jobs for me and then I can reward you with whatever you want. Right girls?"

"Yes pharaoh." Both slaves looking forward to their payment for following him here. Their master is a man of his word and he'd be able to provide what they need. The aura thief moved closer now to the mad scientist extending his hand.

"What do you say? Do we have a deal?"

"Deal." They shook hands as a sign of a contract. Ash let go not wanting to crush Clemont's hand with a firm grip.

"Good. Your first task. Lysandre wanted me to help him steal a device. What is it?"

"So you were involved in that. Ok. Just let me reach my fully powered computer and I'll explain it."

Clemont opened up the news page on the events at the airport. A theft gone off without a hitch the company that produced the machine Lysandre wanted came up on screen. A pair of orange glasses as wide as a human head were pictured on the screen. Clemont opened a few more tabs to the thief and his hero slaves watching it.

"All this effort for a pair of glasses?" Lucario didn't get it. If Lysandre wanted some flashy sunglasses he could just walk into any optician and nick a pair. The inventor held back his frustration at the thief's unawareness.

"That's not any regular set of glasses. That's the newest pair of P-vision build for the military."

"The military?"

"The nations army that has all the big guns, weapons and jets."

"I know what it is but what does it do?" Ash said in frustration which the two Eevee sisters picked up. Flareon began to emit some steam while Jolteon started to spark at the inventor for thinking their master is a fool. The inventor noticed this and he began to talk.

"Simple. That pair of glasses is an experimental project. In the attempt to make war less deadly the army switched to drones and machinery instead of normal people on the field. The glasses Lysandre has are a prototype of being able to hack any machine installed with a special chip and will able to relay commands. Tanks, jets, drones, even weaponry that ground forces carry. He won't be able to be stopped if he gets the command codes and has the nations army in his palm."

The thief seeing how much trouble it can cause to his own schemes. Even if he had all the Eevee sisters and himself he did not wished to go against a whole army destroying Lumiose City in the process. All his careful planning and setting up traps to make the city his would all be changed to a war bringing casualties.

"Can you make something like a override chip? One that destroys Lysandre's glasses or hack into it? Or should I rip it off his head and smash it?" Clemont hearing the brutish methods resisted in scolding him for the old way of smashing things.

"Not without the Porygon tech. I can work miracles but that is out of my reach. And don't try to destroy it if you want to keep the city intact. If the glasses get destroyed or taken of someone's head the machine around will self destruct as a precaution and a last ditch resort to keep the tech out of enemy hands." Clemont regrettable informed him.

"So we're screwed." The thief told him. So much for an easy path to city hall where would proclaim himself mayor then pharaoh. Getting ready for war with Lysandre was a huge cost he wasn't prepared to pay. Not at the cost of all those lives as he did not wanted to be seen as a tyrant by the people.

"Unless."

"Unless what?" Lucario wanting to try anything at this point.

"What do you need?" As the thief asked the inventor opened up another tab. A news report about a large diamond stationed in the vault at the Lumiose Casino came up. Ash finding it a pretty thing had no interest in the shiny object. He knew to pick his heists better than at that place as security there was even more strict than the pyramids laced with traps from top to bottom.

"Why that diamond? You want me to steal it for you?" Still robbing a place like that would be a real challenge of his skill as a thief. Not that he was going to steal in the future when he ruled and got taxes or tributes in his name.

"I want them to steal it for you." Clemont said referring to the two Eevee sisters with him as the thief turned round.

"Them?"

"You said they work for you now. Then they won't have trouble stealing it for you then." The inventor really wanted to know if the Eevee sisters were as loyal as they pretended to be. This could be a ruse to lead the others here and destroy his remaining work. But mostly afraid that Lucario had a change of heart and would ruin the entire crime scene of Lumiose City.

"Actions, not words Lucario. I want that diamond here in two days. The night of the heist you will stay here and let them bring it to us just so I know you had nothing to do with it."

Ash nearly cursed him out but kept his calm. He needed Vaporeon and Leafeon fast so he can stop this false pretense of only having two. And he needed to give the slaves he was going to send in to rob the casino a crash course on how to do a theft while keeping their identities intact for a later time when it is more appropriate.

"I'll let you play with your new power here and I'll get you your supplies. Just be ready for when I need you."

"You're leaving?"

"I got a theft to prepare for."

"Correction. They have to prepare for." The inventor gave him a sly grin finally having the upper hand.

Ash and the two heroines left the hideout. Out in the open air again they were heading back towards his own hideout. Ash leading the now robed figures thought to himself.

"Why can't I enjoy them in peace? Do I have to do everything around here?"

This was supposed to be easy. Get the sarcophagus. Lure each Eevee sister in one by one and lean back as they take over the city with him as its ruler. Still with the Lysandre threat he needed to contain it before its too late. He needed Vaporeon and Leafeon fast as the eight of the sisters combined with his aura would make him unstoppable. Plus bring that diamond to Clemont by any way possible.

"Is it wise to leave him like this pharaoh?" Chloe asked him as she loyally followed him. Ash agreed with her as he already thought about his partners faith.

"I'll throw him in the sarcophagus after we get the final two sisters. For now let's play along with his demands. If he doesn't I'll give Porygon to one of you as a gift instead. " Ursula found him sounding irritated. Clearly his conversation with Clemont did not end the way he wanted it. In two minds to burn the secret lab anyway the blonde now was a associate of her master.

"Forgive me for doubting you. But I only have your best intention at heart." The newest slave of the pair spoke. Ash sighed as he knew it wasn't their fault. They just did what they were told to do and did it well enough. He stopped at a roof as did the girls. The two waited patiently for him to move wondering why he halted.

"As I do. Speaking of best interests I believe I should fulfill my end of the deal. Your reward is whatever you want." He promised Ursula and Chloe a favor. It was onto them to call whatever they wished but with their pharaoh being stressed they wanted an activity that would relax him as well.

"We know our reward pharaoh." Ursula said.

"Claim us. My house is nearby and I want you to claim me the same way as you did Anabel and Marnie." Chloe got annoyed last night watching the sun and moon duo have their bodies used. She wanted it for herself the same day but with her task now completed she wanted to expend the rest of her power feeling pleasure.

"Then your wishes will be fulfilled."

I thought I said I wouldn't post anything till the new year but I got the itch.

Also another thing. Should I delay this one and try something else or want me to continue?

The more reviews the more incentive I have to continue a story.

Later.
