Don't own Dark Matter

New chapter finally

Four had not slept at all the night before but he was up heading to the dining room as soon as it turned 6 O'Clock not really believing Five would be in the dining room but he did plan on sitting in there in hopes shed come get some food. Two was sitting at the table alone she had a worried look on her face and didn't even acknowledge Fours presence until he sat down across from her she finally looked up.

"Do you think Five is going to be okay who knows half the things she saw and what effects they had on her?" Two asked Four the same thing he had been up all night worrying about himself and how it was all his fault.

"Fives a warrior she is stronger than all of us." Four believed what he was saying she was a beautiful innocent girl who stuck around there ship even though she knew they were all killers yet she would risk her life for any of them. He couldn't help but lose his calm demeanour for just a second and let the longing look appear as he left the dining hall he couldn't wait for Five he needed to just see her and make sure she was alright then he'd give her space.

"Five please`if you're in there open the door." Six stood outside Fives room as
Four approached. "Have you seen her?"

"No, have you been out here all night?" Four questioned him hoping he could get him to leave so he could try to talk to Five without drawing suspicion.

"Yeah I don't know if she's in there she wont answer, she's probably terrified of us all." Six looked worried with his fatherly expression on his face.

"You should go get some sleep if I see her i'll get you up." Six seemed to want to hesitate but nodded before giving him a look.

"If she's freaked out just leave her alone you don't want to make it worse." Four nodded not caring to what he said. After Six left Four gave the door a look he wasn't sure she was in their she could be in the vents as well.

He had been paying more attention to the aqua haired girl than anyone noticed he popped off her control pad, he had seen her do it multiple times. He struggled he didn't want to do it wrong but he wasn't confident in his pick he closed his eyes reminding himself to follow his instincts, twisting the wires the door opened. He put the cover back over it knowing Five would have to fix it later but he didn't want Six to know he had tampered with it.

She wasn't in her room, Four had never been in here before. Scattered around the room were parts of mechanical equipment. Colorful clothes scattered on the floor Four felt a smile tug at him her room was as cluttered as her mind and it was perfectly Five.

He went to the vent lifting himself up to look around. He was actually surprised to see tussle blue hair.

"Hey Five can I talk to you." But he didn't get a response he might of thought she was ignoring him but her breathing stayed steady. "Five" this time louder but again nothing.

It was awkward pulling her down out of the vent but he had her in his arms. "Five." He touched her face she was breathing ruggedly. He placed her down on her bed "Five you got to wake up." He was shaking her now she mumbled eyes flickered for a second. It had to be a side affect of the coma it was the only thing Four could think of "I'm gonna get you to the infirmary little warrior."

"No please I don't want to see them i heard Six that's why i crawled up here last night incase he came in." Four knew she wanted space.

"I'm sorry i broke in i'll go." She grabbed his arm.

"Stay with me." Her voice came out soft but urgent he couldn't leave her. Her eyes were fluttering as he sat next to her on the bed running his fingers through her aqua hair.

"What's wrong little warrior?" He wanted to yell but he didn't want to scare her so he kept his voice calm.

"I remember one time I was put on morphine when I was little everything was dark I didn't dream at all and I thought it would work again." She said morphine wearing off her eyes were staring to open wider. "I tried to stay in the good memories but the bad always pulled me back." Her eyes were filling up with tears "I thought i could do it on my own that I didn't need anybody help."

"Whos help do you need who can make you feel better would Android." Five knew she wouldn't Android was her friend but couldn't understand it.

"Ryo you make me feel better you're what drive the nightmares away. Your memories of you as a child and my own memories of you." She looked at him face red her tears gone replaced with embarrassment. She didn't know how to tell him of memories she remembered "i know you don't owe me anything I know you probably have better things to do but would you stay with me for a little bit?" It looked like she was about to cry again "you don't have too you know you probably shouldn't." She was stumbling over her words scared he'd turn her down.

He bent down pressing his lips against hers for only a brief kiss he then layed down on the bed holding her with one arm as he continued running his other through her hair.

"Anything for you Little Warrior." They stayed like that not talking just laying their for what felt like an hour. Five stomach made a growl Four could imagine she hadn't ate for 2 days before she was in a coma for 5 and the food from an IV was only enough to keep her nutrition up.

"Let's go get you some food I'm sure everyone wants to see you." Five frowned she didn't know if she wanted to see everyone she liked just being here with Four.

Four hoped nobody was outside her door to see him leave. Luckly they walked to the dining room where the luck ran out as Thee and one sat in their bickering stopped to look at the two who had just entered.

"Five i'm so happy to see you." One said standing up to give Five a hug she tensed immediately pulling away from his grasp. He dropped his arms and went to sit back across from Three who was laughing at him.

"Kid you came back better than ever." Three said throwing a green pouch of food at her. "Saved you one." Five caught it without even trying.

"Thanks Titch." She frowned she didn't mean to say that. "Three."

"Titch?" He questioned her. She shrugged pointing to her head as she sat down next to Three his childhood memories were another of her favorite memories.

"Your parents called you that before they died you were a really sweet kid." Three scoffed at the insinuation but seemed to get lost in thought never the less. One laughed at the name Titch but Three ignored him.

"I told Six I'd let him know when Five showed up." Five tensed Six had been so nice to her but she knew his memories and she knew he'd turn on all of them those thoughts had made her hate him. All the time she spent in the memories just showed her that they all weren't that bad. Maybe Two but the thought him turning in them if he got his memories back filled her with rage.

"I'll go get him One said." Walking out of the dining room along with Three who wandered out without saying anything.

"Are you okay?" Four had noticed the change in her demeanour.

"I'm just thinking about.." but she trailed off as not only Six but Two came in the dining room. Four was across the table from her putting her in the middle of them.

"Five Im so glad you're okay" Six said.

"Five Android found a way to get the memories out of you're head." Two said "we've been taking we think after we take all our memories out we could drop you off on a nice planet you could call home and stop being around us killers."

Five felt fire literally a burning under her skin. They were still treating her like a child like she hadn't been taking care of herself for years how there were people after her as well.

"You don't get to make that decision." Her head was down she refused to look at them.

"We know that person is after you but if you use a different name change your hair you could hide on a new planet. You wouldn't be in constant danger anymore." Six was almost begging her.

"I'm not leaving the RAZA." Two touched her shoulder then Five just acted she stood pushing Two away. Six grabbed her arm she kicked him off of her when Two walked back up to her she swung again but Two dodged her. Five just let her body fight back it was like she'd been fighting all her life but Two had actually been, Five couldn't land a hit on her now that Two was on guard.

"Five stop." Six touched her again she spun around kicking him in the face surprised her body could even stretch like that. Her body was begging her to stop, it was sore and tired but her mind had taken over.

"Five." Four had got up going around Six he grabbed her arms looking into her blue eyes. Her mind stopped its onslaught as she looked into his brown eyes her body ached making her lean into his touch.

"I will not leave the ship put it to a vote i'm useful here you guys could use my computer expertise. If you leave me in a planet I will not hide I will flash around the piece of hardware that got all my friends killed until they come for me. Then I'll kill them all and i'll become a murderer because of you." She was serious she wasn't sure where this new passion of hers came from but she was determined to stay here with them all. She looked at Four once more he was holding her arms still she pulled away he let go and she walked out of the dining room.

Four felt both pair of eyes on him they must of been wondering why she let him touch her and not them. Luckily for him the rest of the crew came into the room.

"What happened heard Five yelling." One said standing as close to Two as he dared.

"She's not herself it must be some complication from the memories." Six answered.

"Can you fix her Android." Two questioned.

"Whatever is wrong isn't medical I can't do anything." Android stated.

"She needs to be away from killers." Six said making Two nod in agreement.

"Let's take a vote we already know her answer but if we out vote her, then we remove all her memories even the ones since we woke from stasis so she doesn't doesnt remeber any of us. Then leave her on the next civilized planet leave her some money."

"Wait you want to erase all our memories and hers." Three wasn't sure he liked the idea of his memories being gone.

"She's only a child she doesn't need our terrible memories in her head."

"She's not a child." Four stated drawing all eyes to him "she's an adult if she wants to stay on the ship I don't see a problem with it." Couple of mouths gaped at him. He just followed Fives lead and walked out of the dining room ignoring the crew mates. He'd go take out some frustration in the training room then go find Five.

Surprisingly he didn't need to go find her when he entered she had gloves on hitting the punching bag. He stood their staring at the aqua haired girl for a few moments he was surprised about how well she was doing her stance was good and her hits were strong like she could punch through the bag. She seemed to be getting more erratic as the moments passed he made his way over to her she turned as his footstep were right behind her. She had tears running down her face.

Four grabbed her pulling her into a hug the buzzing in his head began he tried to ignored it. She put her arms around him leaning into him.

"I don't want to leave." She mumbled into his now wet shirt.

"I gave you my word nobody will throw you off the ship I won't let them." He said into her hair he kissed the top of her head. Five smiled she knew what his word meant to him, she trusted him.

"Ryo will you help me train?" She asked using his real name he knew he didn't like anyone else calling him it but Five was different when she said it she awakened a part of him he had little control over
