Dark Desires

-Differences Between Us-

The silence was overbearing to Izuku. He just rounded the corner and there she was….Standing there with no visible emotions. Did she see Venom eat that guy? Is she going to call the cops on him? Why isn't she scared? Is she scared?

"So." She began in a monotone voice.

"S-so…" Izuku stumbled over his words before letting the quiet night consume the conversation again. This was it, he was going to jail. Maybe they could find a way to let him eat something besides people that would quench his thirst for that life giving...bright red lucious-

"Are you homeless?" She interrupted him, pulling Izuku out of his daydreaming...Or was it night dreaming while it was dark out?

'Pay attention.'

"Y-yes." He really needed to get some actual sleep. The nightmares and frequent interruptions of unwanted guests are taking a toll on his mental state. And that's not counting the fact that he hatedLOVEDhated eating people to stay alive.

The girl continued to stare at Izuku making the boy even more uncomfortable. After an eternity of anxiety for the poor boy the girl pulled out her wallet and started grabbing a few bills.

Izuku's hands shot up in surprise in front of himself. "W-wait just a s-second! Y-you don't need to give me any m-money!"

She paused with the yen still in her hands. Then after eyeing the boy she looked back to where his room was. "Aren't you out of food?"

'Take the damn money and get us some more chicken nuggets!'

Izuku simply shook his head before patting the side of his leg. A patch of black appeared before a wad of crumbled cash exited into his hand. Holding up the money Izuku showed it to the girl.

"Whenever Ve-..Whoever is digested I tend to get the things they had on their person...as long as it isn't rushed or forgotten about it." Izuku said in slight annoyance.

'You weren't thinking about it in the moment with the last guy either.'

"Hm. Interesting." Was all she said in response. It felt kind of hard to have a conversation with this girl when you didn't have anything concerning to talk about. Then again, he hardly had any experience being in a conversation with someone relatively normal. There was Kacchan, a guy who's threatening you twice in every sentence. Toga, who he really only talked to once and hasn't heard from after he ran away a while ago. Finally Jiro...They weren't in person, just random texts or pictures over the phone when he could walk by a library and have access to the internet.

He probably should say something. "S-so."

"Sooo?" She tilted her head slightly.

"What were you even doing out in the middle of the night, in a bad area, while it was really foggy?" He had to ask. There must have been a reason she would risk so much for even being outside for-

"I thought it would feel kinda spooky walking in the fog during the night in this part of the city." Her answer...Was not what he was expecting.

'She's either stupid or obsessed. If she's stupid can we eat her? I bet her brain would be all mushy an-'

"No, not eating her." Izuku harshly whispered to himself.

"Oh yeah, do you need to eat people?" She asked nonchalantly.

This girl was getting weirder and weirder.

"W-wait! Shouldn't you be freaking out more about how I ate someone?!"

'Good question.'

"Well, do you want to eat people?"

'YES'

"..No, well, not really….but it's a craving and apparently bad things would happen if I don't." Izuku dejectedly said turning slightly away from her.

The uncomfortable silence was instead somber this time as the green haired boy started to remember his victims. He could remember each face, all masked with horror or fear as he felt his teeth biting into them. The worst part was, he LIKED it. His desire for devouring humans greatly outweighed his desire to be a good person. He wasn't any better than the man earlier.

"You know, I think if I found out about you before I was attacked by that cannibal I would probably think you were a twisted villain." She mused in front of him.

His body turned back to face her, but he couldn't bring himself to look her in the eyes. "W-what do you mean? I EAT people!"

'WE eat people'

"Sure, but he did it just because he wanted to. You HAVE to eat people."

"..."

"Did you ever eat someone who wasn't being a villain or trying to hurt someone?" She asked, making him think even more.

All the people he attacked, mauled, mutilated….Weren't they all trying to kill someone? NO, he could not justify that. There had been some that tried to run away from him after he showed his fangs and in his blind hunger he still killed them.

"Everyone we've eaten has killed, or was going to kill." Venom answered for both of them using Izuku's mouth. Izuku hated feeling parts of his body under the symbiote's control.

"Dammit don't do that." He cursed, feeling a smug grin from the alien.

"Sentient quirk. Cool. Well I think I've had enough excitement for one night." Her comment surprised the young teen and alien. As strangely as she came she just casually started walking away. Before she could get too far Izuku called out to her.

"W-wait! It's still dangerous at night in this part of town." Said Izuku with worry in his voice.

Taking a glance behind her to see the boy she thought about the statement. "Well, what do you think I should do?"

'Not be a fucking idiot for starters. Did the thought ever cross her mind that it's NOT a good idea to go off alone at night in the worst parts? She's lucky some pedo-'

"W-well….you could...mumblemumble" Izuku getting quieter the longer he talked. His face blushing slightly.

"What?"

"Mumblemuble"

"...Are you asking me to spend the night here?" The girl asked slightly, raising an eyebrow.

'Holy shit how did she understand that?!'

Growing even more red Izuku looked at the ground blushing madly at his own idea. His arms waved frantically in front of himself. "Y-you d-don't have t-to! I-I just threwtheideaoutthereItotallyunderstandifyouthinkIcameoutascreepyandthefactthatIatesomeonedoesn'thelpbutI'msorryand-"

"Yeah, sounds like a good idea."

Izuku looked at her shocked. In the middle of processing her answer she carried herself to the room he was staying at. His eyes continued to stay on the doorway until her voice carried out in the empty halls.

"Do you have an extra sleeping bag or something?"

'Yep, she's an idiot.'

Himiko Toga was skipping along the sidewalk as she made her way to her favourite person's house. Well, more like a favourite symbiote's house. She didn't manage to catch them home for the last few weeks but that's ok. After all, Venom and her were alike, and because Izuku was forced to be with Venom he didn't have a choice but to be like her too!

She giggled about the news she wanted to share with them. After running away from home she met a new friend who had a quirk that uses blood too! Sure he was hardly around but he still helped her get her meals. Sucks that the water in their temporary house is kinda dirty so showers don't clean her much. Maybe they could all come over to Izuku's house and have an awesome dinner!

The apartment came into view and Toga squealed internally at seeing the lights on inside. He was home! If not then she could talk with his sweet mother and have her call him over!

Approaching the door she tried to keep her blushing smile down to a more friendly one. One last check confirmed her outfit wasn't too dirty. Washing machine places were much more than she expected so she tried to not wash her one good outfit a bunch.

*knock knock*

Her ears picked up on someone getting up and coming to the door. They weren't slow or nervous like the mothers, that had to be Izuku's!

The door clicked, creaking as it opened.

"Hey Izu-"

"Who the fuck are you?" Katsuki asked, his typical pissed off face making Himiko freeze in surprise.

Her hand was in the middle of a wave with her open smile. Slowly she let her hand drop to her side and closed her mouth, trying to look like she isn't plotting to murder him. But her curiosity drove her to keep the plan on stand by.

"I'm Izuku's friend. May I ask what you're doing here?" Himiko's eyes looked right into his, challenging his very presence. Why in the hell would this jackass be at Izuku's house. Also, why the fuck has Venom let HIM live so long?

She noticed Katsuki seemed to flinch a little at her response. Before she could read his response he switched back to annoyed and continued to aggravate her with his words.

"He doesn't have any friends so again….Who are you?"

"...Why should I-"

A tired and hoarse voice interrupted her before she could say more to the scowling teen. "Who is it Katsuki?"

Was that...Was that Inko's voice? That didn't sound like her. But the voice made the young Bakugo adopt a much softer expression and a surprised look.

"It's some girl. Says she was a friend to Izuku." He replied in a kind voice. Yet what he said made a pit form in Himiko's stomach.

..was? Sure she heard of the massacre and knew it was Venom but no one managed to find out who did it. Then why...why was the atmosphere around this place so dark?

Katsuki moved to the side allowing Inko into Himiko's view. It was hard to hide the shock on her face at the sight of the poor woman. She looked awful.

Her once well groomed green hair she kept in a bun was incredibly messy as strands of hair draped all around herself. The shirt she wore had stains all over it from a multitude of things, food, tears, make up. Her pajama pants were luckily in a better state but it was still worn out.

The worst part of it was….Inko's features had completely changed. She was much skinnier than she was, her clothes extremely baggy for her new thinner frame. The bags under her eyes only made them seem much more dead. Just...what happened to this woman? Her skin looked more pale than an albino for crying out loud!

A hollow smile made its way on Inko's face as she recognized the girl. "Oh, it's so good to see you again. Please come in."

She didn't hesitate to quickly take off her shoes and go to the woman. While Himiko didn't care for a lot of people, this woman loved her quirkless son. Her purity to care for everyone around her is what managed to touch some long lost spot in Toga to NOT stab out of love.

Toga put on a small smile for the woman, just enough to get Inko to make her vacant expression a little brighter. Katsuki stood there eyeing the blonde with an inquisitive eye, but he wasn't going to pry...right now anyways.

" , I noticed the apartment feels a little different? Did you do something with it? " Toga probed. Something was VERY off but asking straight forward might just break the woman. So instead she tested the waters, if Inko was sane enough she would let her know the true cause...if not.

"Oh I'm so glad you noticed! Izuku always seems to be a bit brighter whenever the house is extra clean so I make sure he knows I love him."

Now Himiko questioned which of the girls was more insane. The house was clean but it was hardly a welcoming atmosphere. It's like someone die-

Her throat felt tight with her hands becoming clammy. Where was Venom? Was he fed? Or...did Izuku fight him too much and..

Inko's eyes glazed over, her slightly happy expression dropped as hair drooped over her empty gaze. Katsuki took note of this, and as careful as one could get he placed his hands on the woman's shoulders and guided her away from Toga. With overwhelming curiosity she followed the two into the dim hallway. She saw two doors open, one was Inko's..but they were heading into one with an All Might nameplate that read

"Izuku" Toga whispered to herself. Her mind started running worse case scenarios. Venom going too hungry, him being discovered, Izuku no longer guiding Venom's urges. She trusted the symbiote's ability to take on a lot of heroes but not ALL of them!

She watched Katsuki guide the poor woman to sit on the empty bed. Once that was done he grabbed an old blanket and draped it over her shoulders. Inko's arms seemed possessed as they rose to adjust it so it laid atop the woman's head like a hood, then her fingers gripped the corners of it and wrapped it around herself.

Katsuki's lungs took in a deep breath only to release it all through his nose. Toga still felt in shock, her mind coming to one option. Venom is without a suitable host again, that means dead people, cuts, blood, a never ending hunger that demands more and that would surely be caught by heroes soon.

And she wasn't there to see the blood bath.

Again.

Her daydreams were shaken as Katsuki gripped her arm hard and yanked her out of the room. Normally, if anyone had done that when she wasn't focused they would be stabbed at least five times by now. Fortunately for him she had some restraint to not do that in front of the mentally distraught woman.

Katsuki swiftly closed the door and hissed at Himiko.

"I don't know how you and De-..Izuku knew each other but he's gone, ran away like a coward. So there's no reason for you to be here."

Toga huffed at the cocky boy's attitude. It wasn't that long ago he was at her mercy, and she still had some of his blood to use that "powerful" quirk of his.

"Fine." She began speaking, heading to the front door. "But, tell me this at least. Why do you think he ran away?"

"He" Katsuki paused, questioning if he should even touch on the subject. Well, he needed something to get her out of here. "He thought he was a monster, stupidest shit I ever heard from a quirkless." That would have to do.

Himiko squinted at him, holding back a scowl. This guy still judges someone based off their quirk it seems. Asshole. A devious idea made her smile and giggle, making Katsuki even more mad. But then he stopped, noticing a huge change in demeanor in the girl.

"Oh, Izuku isn't a monster." She said, standing up straight to look him in the eyes. "But, we're close to making him one. Who do you think he'd go after first when he decides to just cut loose?" She started laughing a little louder, making Katsuki feel VERY uneasy.

Toga could see the boy starting to choke on his own spit, sweat building up on his arms. His hands started to instinctively flex as little sparks started popping… Oh shit, probably egged him on too hard.

Acting as if nothing happened she just smiled as she opened the front door. "Well, thanks for the info! I'll be going no-"

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN WE BITCH!"

Fuck, said too much.

Kyoka: Did you get time to listen to that album?

Izuku: Yeah! I really liked it. It sounds like your parents music plays tribute to them from time to time.

Kyoka: Haha! You're right. They say they're not but it's super obvious if you've listened to their first albums.

Kyoka: You sure you don't want to hang out with us later? I'm sure you would be able to ask about their quirks openely. My parents are pretty chill and ever since..that day.. They've wanted to meet you.

Izuku looked up from his phone and at the horribly tattered clothes he was in. They were dirty, filled with holes, and smelled awful. It was so bad he couldn't get into the library, so instead he sat on the roof of it to use their wifi to be able to message Jiro at least every week. Even if he managed to find a temporary place with running water it was still abandoned for a reason. When was the last time he took a nice shower with no dirty water?

Izuku: Sorry, maybe next time.

'You're not even planning a next time.'

"Shut up"

Kyoka: K, but one day I will get you to hang out in person.

Izuku: Looking forward to it

'You're avoiding her.'

"She'd avoid me if I showed up this dirty. I smell horrible."

'It's fine.'

"I don't think your opinion counts on this. You wanted to hang out near a butcher shop with rotting meat in the dumpster behind it."

'It's nostalgic'

"It's disgusting"

Izuku stood up, stretching his legs from sitting on the hard surface for a long time. His eyes had heavy dark circles under them showing how little he's been sleeping. His stomach growled loudly making him wince.

'We need to eat'

"We haven't found anybody."

'You haven't been looking'

Izuku gritted his teeth in anger. Completely fed up with the constant selfishness of Venom for eating people. They should not be prioritizing killing people, so to annoy him he's been purposely avoiding any alleys at night, staying away from bad neighborhoods, and trying to eat as little meat as possible….trying. But fast food is just so cheap and it sucks that they hardly have anything good that wasn't meat based.

'We should go hunting'

"Shut up"

'Make me'

"I'll eat a vegan burger if you say another word"

'...You wouldn't'

The silence that fell on Izuku's ears (mental ears since technically Venom is just speaking in his head) was a massive relief to the teen. He started to smile, enjoying the blissful state of just being him right now. No thinking about killing, eating, or stupid alliends making him do aweful things.

And no tasty, sweet smelling, scarlet red-

*sniff*

Oh no

His stomach growled as his nose picked up the temptation.

*sniff sniff*

It was close.

Tuning in his ears to nearby sounds he could make out a pair of running footsteps, followed by a larger group. Was someone in trouble? They should be fine right? He doesn't need to go over there, he doesn't need to get involved.

A distant voice yelled out, sounding frustrated with his life.

"Screw off!"

He needed to help.

Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Mt. Lady all are respected well known heroes for the area. Their schedules overlapped for the day and so they decided to work a patrol route together.

"So I think I'll get into the top ten soon." Mt Lady boasted, only having debuted not too long ago.

"You'd be lucky to get into the top hundred." Death Arms grumbled. She had ranted about her skyrocketing popularity for the past three hours non stop. What was worse is that Kamui was leaping over rooftops, getting a better view of the area as he was stuck with the egomaniac.

"Hey! You're just mad you haven't gotten any higher for the last year." Mt Lady pouted.

"While I don't believe popularity should be the main factor for rankings you must admit that it does help get our accomplishments noticed." Kamui voiced from above, understanding both sides of the argument with patience.

It doesn't help that he is still relatively new and is speculated to be a potential top ten.

"Oh cram it! It's easy to say popularity doesn't matter when you already have it." Death Arms shot back.

"I never said it didn't matter entirely. I'm saying that when as many people are looking at you-" Before the wooden hero could finish his point Mt Lady had already interrupted.

"Sounds like you're just jealous. A hero shouldn't be jealous of anyone else despite how much the people like them better."

That just made Death Arms angrier. "And a hero shouldn't be showing their ass just to get popular on their debut."

"It's part of my flirtatious persona! You obviously didn't put as much effort into crafting yours." Oh she was really begging to get a punch to the face.

"And how long did it take for you to come up with 'assquaintance'?" Death Arms replied, making the female hero puff her chest in pride.

"I'm glad you noticed that line was amazing to immediately announce my personality right after an instant knock out for a perilous situation! I'm glad I took all my afternoons for a week to come up with it." She chuckled a few times, her ego inflating further with each one.

"I had it handled." Kamui commented, slightly bitter about his special move being interrupted at that moment.

After letting the woman let out her haughtiness Death Arms was still thinking about what she said.

"That line took you a week? That's something Midnight would come up with on the spot on a bad day."

Out of all the things that he could have done to make her angry, that was it. Her face grew red as she grabbed his jacket shaking him as she ranted.

"That old bimbo couldn't come up with any flirtatious lines as tv friendly as me! Take that back!" She screamed into Death Arms face making the man yell back. The wooden hero sighed at the spectacle of his "co-workers." Glancing around to make sure there weren't any civilians seeing the sorry state something caught his trained eye.

"Look alive, looks like someone is trying to get somewhere fast via rooftops." He stated seriously, making the two snap out of their bickering.

"You go ahead, you're fastest." Death Arms replied in a professional tone.

Mt Lady blew a strand of hair out of her face. She was just as fast as Kamui, probably even faster if she was running straight. Of course as long as there weren't any cars, pedestrians, children running, poorly constructed roads that would collapse under her foot, sensitive gas lines, a stray pet that managed to get out of its leash and end up-….

Maybe she would let Kamui take this one, he could handle himself before she got there.

A teen with wild indigo hair ran while trying to stop his nose from bleeding. His dark purple eyes, highlighted by his dark circles, were darting from each looming figure that circled him behind a run down restaurant. "I'm telling you, she's lying, I didn't use my quirk on her."

None of them spoke in reply, only scowled. All of them wore similar school uniforms as the purple headed mess. One of them was smart enough to type out a reply on his phone and have it read it in a monotone robotic voice.

And were supposed to believe you over her?

Of fucking course they don't trust him, none of them were willing to speak to him.

"Even if I did do it I wouldn't be stupid enough to NOT brainwash her to forget about it. Also, even if I did have it one of you probably took it from my bag already."

One time he even caught them taking money out of his bag ON VIDEO and showed it to the principal. The spineless coward wouldn't even believe him saying it could have been easily staged given his quirk. He even wrote it down, not willing to talk to someone who could "brainwash him to do something regretful."

If you can't give the money back we'll have to get another form of payment.

"Huh? What could I have that you'd want? All I've got is the clothes off my back!" Hitoshi Shinso, the tired bruised boy yelled back. He watched in confusion as the group looked between one another, their faces slowly turning to grins.

Damnit.

That will do

"Stop it!" Someone yelled from above. Everyone looked up to see a dirty green topped kid standing on the ledge. He was practically wearing rags by how worn out his clothes looked. One of the larger kids yelled back at him.

"Stay out of this! This guy used his quirk on our friend and-"

Holy shit he took a step off. Some of them screamed in shock as the boy fell, only to be left silent as he landed softly between the two parties.

"I heard everything, if your friend was brainwashed you can have her check in with a hospital and they can find evidence." This crackhead looking guy said. He started holding his stomach with one arm. Is he hurt?

But damn, Shinso didn't even know you could get evidence on mental quirks like his. Even if he rarely used his quirk to protect himself it's still a great motivator NOT to use it until he's a hero. Imagine if he was accused of rape even if he just told someone to move out of the way.

Someone else decided to try and talk this worn out mess. "Look, if you heard us then that means that he could brainwash you too. Get out of here and let us take care of-"

"Please!" He yelled out, clutching his stomach harder. This kid was starting to freak Shinso out. He sounded scared, but he also jumped off a building no problem. Is it his quirk?

"Just...go...don't make him more agitated."

That seemed to make the group scowl at Shinso even more as they made assumptions about what the green bean said. Great, someone tried to help and made him seem like even more of a villain.

"That's it, I'm kicking the villains ass." One with a beanie said, his arm coiling up as he stepped forward. He stopped right beside the unknown boy, putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's ok bud, we're going to make sure he can't hurt you anymore."

"Tick Tock, times up."

A predatory voice spoke from the boy's mouth. Shinso's eyes locked on the scene, cementing everything to memory. The once homeless looking stranger shot his hand to the bully's throat. The fingers turned into black claws as the freckled boy grew into a large black muscled monster with empty white eyes. It's mouth slightly elongated and filled with pearly fangs.

Some of them fell to the ground in shock as two others ran off. This beast let it tongue out and LICKED its hostage before humming in content to itself. And then it spoke with that same voice.

"You'll be a nice appetizer, we haven't been able to eat properly lately so now we're going to gorge ourselves! Starting with a nice bowl of hot-"

It used its other hand to grip the top of the victim's skull. The captured guy could only shed a few tears as he watched the beast toy with him.

"Steamy!"

*CRACK* The claws broke the top half of his head, making him limp. Removing the hat along with skin and skull released some steam into the air with a large amount of blood.

"BRAINS!"

Shinso saw the tongue wrap itself around the pink organ, and pull it into the monster's mouth. It mocked them, chewing loudly and openly with tiny chunks covering its teeth.

You could not blame him for vomiting at the sight. As he was hunched over he heard even more crunching, assuming his past tormentor...classmate...no longer had a body for his parents to bury.

"Now let's see, maybe we could try the plump one next. Maybe we can squeeze him into a nice juice~"

No, they were horrible people but...so was everyone else. But NONE of them were as bad as what was in front of him. This isn't what he thought he'd face in his potential hero dream, but everyone has to start somewhere.

"H-hey bigfoot." He weakly called out to the black beast. That seemed to turn its attention on him and oh boy did it look unhappy.

"The fuck did you call us?"

Got him

"Take that big ass mouth and tell the police what you just did and follow their orders." Shinso commanded. The beast stood there, obviously under his control. He spared a glance to look back at the others. When they made eye contact it managed to get them to realize what the brainwashing teen was doing. All of them ran, good, now he just had to-

"Thanks for making it interesting. Now we can build up their adrenaline even more as they run from us!"

Don't got him

This thing was immune to mind control, and now he's gonna get eaten. Well, at least he died being a "hero." Take that everyone, he could be a hero with a villainous quirk. Then again, at least he didn't get this thing's quirk, the bullying would have been way worse.

"Lacquered Chains Prison!"

Hundreds of branches shot out from above and caged the menace in a thick barrier of wood. Shinso looked up to see a hero above restraining the villain.

"Don't worry! The heroes have arrived!"

It was Kamui Woods! Holy shit he was saved!

"Toothpicks are supposed to be for AFTER the meal!" A black arm shot out from the prison splintering the wood. Kamui flinched in pain as more and more of his special move was being torn apart.

Holy shit he was screwed!

Kamui brought his arm back along with the intact wood, leaving some tightly bound branches to try and restrain the threat. The hero leapt down to get himself between Shinso and his foe.

"This would be a good time to run." The wooden hero said grunting at the strain.

"W-what about you?!" Shinso had to ask, hoping this guy wasn't going at it alone.

"Death Arms and Mt Lady are just around the corner. More are on the way with the police."

"Is that so? If we recall Mt Lady can grow quite large." With a swipe of its sharp black fingers it broke the restraints making the hero pull back and grab his mostly intact arm.

"Tell us, if you take a bite of her when she is using her quirk, will the flesh shrink or stay the same? If so THAT would be a Las Vegas buffet worthy."

"You're sick and twisted, if you turn yourself in we might be able to help you." Kamui tried to negotiate, worrying this beast might be above his pay grade.

"Nah, we're more interested in how YOU will taste." It taunted, tongue slithering in the air.

"Very well, prepare to be detained!" Kamui yelled, throwing his good arm to stretch to a nearby ledge. Starting a swing, he hardened the wood in his legs while simultaneously making a sharp bundle of thick twigs with his other arm. Once close enough to the villain he went for a double kick at one of its arms.

Venom went to grab his legs, only for his arm to be stabbed by the hero. Kamui quickly pulled away and swung to the other side of the alley. He landed and crouched low, created two long wooden whips to battle with. His eyes widened slightly under his mask seeing the small dents in the black slime quickly fill back out.

Venom smirked seeing the Hero's shock, then launched himself with heavy steps. Kamui waited until the last minute to aim high. Venom went straight for the raised wips, only for the hero to slide right under him and pull back his attack.

Now that Kamui was behind Venom he used one of his whips to tie his legs together. Venom landed on his belly with his claws digging into the ground, giving the hero a chance to jump onto his back.

Kamui used his other free arm to split his whip into two and grab Venom's wrists. Using all his strength he pulled back the appendages, bringing Venom's arms in the air that were trying to swipe the hero. As Kamui was focused on restraining the arms he lost focus on the villain using raw strength to break the wood typing his legs together.

Venom sprang back onto his feet and was swiping furiously with his semi trapped arms. The wooden hero was doing his best to stay on the beast, sweating under the strain that his arm was under. Trying to get a better angle he used his now free arm to shoot up to a roof, pulling the both of them in the air.

Aerial combat was a specialty of his, but he didn't account for several black tendrils to spring out from Venom's back attempting to grab him. Venom roared as he shot out a large tendril of his own to counter Kamui's control of their position in the air.

Shinso watched on as the hero battled the villain. Somehow, despite being injured several times to his arms, Kamui was handling this freak! The heroes could win this. Seeing how the pro worked only reminded Shinso of his own shortcomings. His quirk hardly did a thing for him cause apparently this guy was immune. Whatever the villain's quirk was let him be more durable, stronger, and more dangerous. Seeing the hero in front of him he saw how Kamui was battling.

He was using hit and run tactics, switching up his every move, never being predictable, restraining as much movement as possible, and most importantly...taking the fight away from him.

Screw All Might, he had to be like this guy, this is exactly the kind of hero he wanted to be.

"Give up! The others are nearly here and then it's over!" Kamui shouted from atop Venom's shoulder.

"It would be a lot easier if one of us wasn't bitching about fighting a hero."

"What?!"

Wait...Was that green haired teen he saw earlier...part of the villain? Or was he….Oh no..That kid, he wasn't talking about Shinso earlier. He was talking about this ugly thing!

"Kamui!" Shinso shouted out.

"I thought I told you to run!" The hero shouted back.

Loud footsteps echoed in the streets, shaking the boy that's on the ground. Mt Lady stood over all of them with Death Arms in her palm, eyeing the fight of tangled branches and tendrils. She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by Shinso.

"He's possessing some kid! There's a hostage in the middle of his body!"

"That makes things harder! Mt Lady! Don't squish this guy or you might hurt the hostage!" The wooden hero said dodging another tendril and hopping to another black limb to beat.

Some passerby's seeing the commotion stopped to record the fight. Remembering how Mt Lady's debut went most were hoping for more provocative angles.

"Geez, how are we going to beat this guy?" She thought out loud, starting to stress about how close Kamui was in combat. She couldn't do much in this situation, not without hurting the supposed hostage or her fellow hero.

"You don't beat us. WE eat YOU!" Venom roared, tired of the stalemate. Several thin lines of black substance shot out from his body sticking to almost everything. Mt Lady held her arm up to protect Death Arms, only to get it stuck to the building next to her. Shinso had a glob of it stick his foot to the ground, keeping him in place. Kamui, being the closest, had several strands lock his limbs together. As he was suspended mid air in a large black spider web.

"Get the kid out of here!" He shouted, trying to summon more wood to pierce through the webs. Unfortunately he had exhausted his quirk. Constantly having his wooden limbs broken off had left his cracked arms to only fight back with small splinters.

Mt Lady tugged against the web trying to free herself without collapsing the building on the kid as she lowered Death Arms with her other hand. The hero started to run over to the kid as Kamui continued to struggle against the approaching monster.

Venom climbed slowly from web to web, letting his tongue slide over his teeth. Kamui made eye contact, if those white things could even be considered eyes. Venom inched closer and closer until the wooden hero could smell the villains breath….It smelled disgusting...like..

"Are you actually going to eat me?! Another living person?!" He yelled out in anger. This villain wasn't just a thug, he was a cannibal!

"Well, one of us tried to go vegan recently to piss us off. But, what will you count as? Vegetation? Or FLEEEESSSSHHH" Venom hissed as he opened his mouth wider and wider over the heroes head. Mt Lady was starting to panic, tugging harder and faster against her trapped arm. The building it was attached to started to crack as small bits and pieces started to fall into the alleyway.

Death Arms bolted the last ten feet seeing how dire the situation was. Once he reached Shinso he used his strength to grab the teens shoulders and lift with his enhanced grip. The webs that were attached to Shinso's foot pulled and twisted his ankle as some of the ground came with him.

The man simply threw the teen over his shoulder and ran away from the scene, unfortunately he left Shinso with the perfect view. His face morphed to panicked anger as he struggled in any way to try to stop what was happening.

"NOOOOOO!"

*CRUNCH*

Everything was silent for what felt like an eternity. Not even Death Arms footsteps seemed to make any noise as they pounded against the ground. He could feel the earth shake as Mt Lady ripped her arm with a large chunk of the building and started swinging wildly trying to hit the monster. Sirens approached, but as they got closer he was getting farther and farther.

It didn't help the tunnel vision of the puddle on the ground that was slowly growing larger with each drip from the headless corpse that hung in a black web.
