THANK YOU FOR NOTHING

CHAPTER 8

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Hey, Everyone, This is Alyna, with a new story. Please leave a review! Thanks! Sorry for the late posts...

Sirius Black sat down back at the table, wolfing down rest of the bread, and pumpkin pasties.

"Can you please keep him here?" The head Auror asked Arthur Weasley.

Mr. Weasley just nodded, he was staring at the man who was eating their food, without their permission. He couldn't help developing a soft spot for Sirius Black. He didn't seem very old. Maybe he was five, six years older than Bill.

"I have to get back to the office, Dumbledore's meeting the Minister, and I have to be there!" The Head Auror told him, "I'll leave them here for protection, they will keep and eye on them."

Arthur sat down with Sirius.

"Mr. Black?!" He started to say.

"Please!" Sirius held up a hand, "Call me Sirius."

"Sirius!" He started to speak,

"Mr. Weasley." Sirius interrupted, "Can I see Harry Potter?"

Arthur Weasley was taken back. Everyone had gone back inside, the aurors had asked them to go back in the house. Arthur Weasley was taken back at the request. He hadn't anticipated that would be asked.

"I...I'm not..." He didn't know what to say. Maybe, he wasn't supposed to do that. Maybe he was dangerous.

"Relax, Mr. Weasley!" Sirius tapped his hands together. "I am not a danger to Harry Potter, I happen to be his legal Godfather."

"WHAT?" Mr. Weasley jumped, "His...his Godfather?!"

"Yes," Sirius was relaxed, "Godfather, I am his Godfather. James and Lily made me teh Godfather the day she found out she was pregnant."

Arthur's eyes widened in shock.

"So why did?"

"I didn't betray them!" Sirius almost screamed as he understood what was coming at the end of the sentence. "I would have died before I even thought of betraying the man who gave me shelter when I kicked out. The woman who would tend to my wounds when I came from parents house, the brother I never had. And Lily, she was...she was...How could I?"

He spat.

"It was him!" He whispered. "It was Pettigrew, who destroyed all of us, for the sake of his own betraying, coward skin."

Arthur thought he was going to cry. But he shook his head sharply. And exhaled.

"So, How about bringing my Godson out?" He asked again. "I haven't seen him in 11 years."

Arthur nodded,

"Okay, okay..." He said softly, "You can see Harry, but I am going to stay with you!"

"Fine by me." Sirius's face broke out into a grin. "A man out of Azkaban, people are bound to get cautious."

"Absolutely not!" stood in front of Harry. "No! he's not going!"

"Molly, he is ...innocent!"

"Maybe he is dangerous!"

"He's okay!"

"No!"

"Ah, Mr. Weasley..." One of the Auror's knocked on the door.

"Yes!" He turned.

"We will be taking Mr. Black with us," He told them. "Dumbledore's calling him."

"But I..." Harry spoke from the behind. "I want to see him...I think I know him."

"Sorry." He told them. "I'll be taking him now, maybe you will be seeing him in a few days...or after the trail."

The Auror team disappeared, as Harry ran after thaem.

"NO!"
