"What's going on here?!"

It was rare for the Youkai Sage such as Yakumo Yukari to be panic, but now she absolutely had the right to be panic.

Earlier, nervous Ran informed her that the other members of the girl band project came to visit her with a special guest. At first, she didn't think much about it for a special guest part until she saw her. She remembered her as one of the strongest incident masterminds: Junko.

In her living room; Junko stood out the most from the rest. Iku didn't know her but she perceived the overwhelming presence.

"I don't know! I wanted to talk with you about improvement on our gear endurance because it wasn't able to withstand my power, but I'm not expecting to see everyone here, especially her!" Kasen in her glory day form (Horn form) pointed nervously to the vengeful widow. Actually, everyone was surprised with her look but it was just so pale in comparison to Junko presence.

"I've a similar problem like Ibaraki-san so I come here." Iku was fidgeting all the time since the start.

Yuyuko seemed to be the only one who could keep most of her anxiety under control.

"Your Reign in Blood album attracted her attention while I was blasting it through my yard. She is interested by it so I bring her here since I'm not knowing about metal music enough to explain it."

Yukari arranged her priority quickly; she really wanted to ask what was up with Kasen as she was back to her glory form, but she deemed the powerhouse like Junko was a greater issue that needed immediate attention.

Not many knew her face. But it was common that Junko name was fear by anyone, even Yuuka, Yuugi, Eirin or the Watatsuki sisters were no exception. To explain in simplest term, it would be like this. She, who had the power to purify/refine anything, refined/purified her own anger from losing her son to the point that made her became the Divine Spirit. Additionally, Houyi, the powerful well-known hero and her ex-husband who shot down nine suns which cause Junko's son death, was killed by her. That should explained how terrifying she was.

"Might I ask what makes you interest, Madam Junko?" Yukari was especially courteous.

"The metal music, I want to know everything about it, dear." In front of ancient and powerful being as Junko, The great Yakumo Yukari felt like a little girl being questioned by an Elder.

"It will takes time, so please bear with me. Your inquiries will have to wait, you two."

Iku and Kasen nodded.

"Ran! Prepare the snack and drink, don't let Chen interfere" She must exercise cautious measure, one wrong move and apocalypse would fall upon her mansion.

Yukari knew Junko, but Junko knew no one here. Firstly, a brief introduction was in order. Then, Yukari started the history of Metal music lesson which she focused more on the instrument part than the origin of genre part.

Junko thought back about why she was here while she was paying attention to Yukari's lesson about metal music.

Normally, everyone who knew her brief history would expect that she had gone mad. Her quest of vengeance should be finish once she killed Houyi; but she didn't stop there and marked his new wife as her next target, they assume she refined her fury to the point she couldn't live without it thus it automatically misplaced on someone who was close to Houyi.

They were wrong, they were Damn WRONG! She was 100% aware that her fury hadn't been misplaced. The reason she didn't stop her quest; because it wasn't finished yet. Yes! Houji was dead, but she wasn't completely satisfied yet. She believed his new wife (Chang'e) had a say in this as well.

She knew that wench was on the Moon, under the protection of those Lunarian. She invaded the moon with her back up fairies army, intended to kill her target. The Lunarian was a coward, they didn't directly confront her but oppressed the Earth to fight her instead. The invasion was considered her lost as she didn't meet her objective; this fueled her with more rage toward the Lunarian, and at the same time she didn't hold a grudge against the Earthling at all which she was surprise herself.

Fail attempt was one thing, but another news about Chang'e being immortal now (from taking Hourai Elixir) made misalignment on herself. Her finest fury which used to be her greatest boost now beginning to become her downfall. If Chang'e was immortal then her revenge quest would go on for eternity; the more she thought about it, the more she tormented herself, it wasn't a positive drive for her anymore. She burdened herself with the greatest vengeance for her son since that day, she now was just an infinite fury generator.

As a divine spirit, her nature was similar to Yuyuko, being ghost in flesh but ranked in the highest tier. She could go anywhere as she pleased. When she finally lost her life direction (Her anger was there but she wasn't able to release it to Chang'e). She ventured randomly, be it heaven, abyss, space, earth, or the Moon (No one on the moon dared to approach her. They would actually win, but they weren't willing to accept the critical LOST from the fight. They weren't that suicidal).

She didn't pay attention how long she had been drifting from place to place, until she stumbled upon a certain Netherworld.

The aggressive music, which was strange to her ears, pleased her mind for no reason, She was able to relax for the first time since her son died. Some time passed, she just realized she forgot the whole vengeance thing for a moment there.

'This may be the alternate solution I must seek to escape this hell (which I built myself)' She approached the pink hair ghost from behind.

"Junko-san, are you with me so far?" Yukari checked if her listener was still following, she toned down the formality to make an approachable feeling for herself. She couldn't keep the stress all the way to the end.

"Sure."

Junko's non-talkative habit really caused the awkward atmosphere, Yukari as the host tried her best to run anything forward. Suddenly, Yuyuko got an idea.

"Hey, Yukari. We still don't have a band bassist. Why don't we let her joy us? Junko-san can gain firsthand experience with the metal music that way, killing two birds with one stone."

The other band members froze from the idea.

Iku, Kasen, Yuyuko, and Junko stared at Yukari with their own expectation. Iku and Kasen were anxious about Junko joining the band; Yuyuko just wanted to have fun by messing with Yukari and helped her new acquaintance at the same time despite feeling the same tension (She roughly saw through the being called Junko as someone who lost her spiritual anchor. She knew general knowledge about Junko entity, she knew her better by seeing her face-to-face.).

Yukari and Junko met eye-to-eye. Yukari was good at reading people, but she accepted wholeheartedly that Junko was the exception. Junko wasn't anchored by anything, the only thing which keep her sane was her vengeance for her son. Yukari got the same feeling as Yuyuko that Junko became unstable; the great force that even the Lunarian fear was waiting for someone to guide her. In other word, there was a super-weapon at her disposal now. This was the most risky bet she would take; her plan would get a solid boost if succeed or it would backfire and annihilate everything.

"Junko-san, You and I will have to do blood-oath regard this subject."

"Tell me what to do, will you? Yukumo-san. Other details is no concern of mine."

Yukari's seriousness was in contrast with Junko's carefree attitude. It was obvious; one was the general manager of Gensokyo, the other one had nothing to lose since what she cared for was already dead. Their responsibility was opposition to each other.

"For the time being, please choose your prefer bass from the catalogue. Ran! Assist Junko-san in looking for her bass from the catalogue. I have to talk with the others about their issue."

When Junko left with Ran to the other part of Yukari's mansion, everyone once again had a full breath of air.

"Don't ask me about Junko as the bassist, I make decision and that's final….What do you want to discuss?"

Yukari heavily stated to stop any incoming argument from Kasen, she believed Iku was less concerned than Kasen about Junko. The sudden change in topic at the end, subtly conveyed to anyone of her ultimatum.

"OK, your funeral mate." Kasen hated it when her friend became such a dictator, she said it to show her intention that she wouldn't be responsible of what was coming anymore.
