(3rd person P.O.V of Edward)

Edward opened his eyes and sat up. He wasn't in his bed. He was in a field of grass. He looked up and saw that the sky was haunting. Dark grey clouds flooded the skies, making everything darker. The air was cool & crisp. Edward looked down and saw that he was wearing his street clothes again. He stood slowly and looked around. Edward shuddered as he felt a presence appear near him, although he couldn't see anything around him. Edward noticed that the presence felt familiar. It was the same thing that spoke to him when he killed Lycaon.

This path that you walk, Edward Moore, the Voice said. Is a futile path of pain and sorrow.

Edward turned and saw Lycaon. Edward's eyes widened, not because it was Lycaon, but because, where Lycaon's eyes & mouth should've been, were spiraling circles of darkness.

The voice echoed out from Lycaon. The future I see may not be totally correct. But, it is the most likely scenario. You will parish, Edward Moore.

Edward turned around again and this time, the person standing behind him was Octavian. Who's mouth & eyes were missing as well, replaced by the spiraling darkness.

You will fail to protect the ones that you care about most. The Voice threatened. You will know about the pain of failing in that regard. It will break you. You will feel emptiness. Loneliness. Anger. And Sadness. And, above that, you will lose... yourself.

Edward didn't understand what the Voice was talking about. But just the fact that it was coming out of Octavian's body made him mad. Edward tried to speak. But he couldn't. He touched his mouth and his eyes widened. It felt as if someone had stitched his mouth shut. Edward tried to undo it, but it barely budged. Edward, frustrated, swung at Octavian. Before he could hit him though, a chain of darkness came out and wrapped itself around Edward's wrist. The chain brought Edward's arm down as another chain sprouted from the ground and wrapped itself around Edward's other wrist. Edward struggled against the chains. They didn't have any give at all. In fact, the chains pulled him down, forcing him down on to his knees. He looked up and saw Lycaon standing behind Octavian.

The Voice came from both of them. Even if you do manage to persevere, and even if you do manage to make it to me. You will never be able to defeat me.

Out of the corner of his eyes, Edward noticed more people forming. His eyes widened when he saw them. Alex, Alithia, Grover, Leo, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Annabeth, Percy, Piper, Reyna. All with the same dark swirls as Octavian & Lycaon.

The Voice boomed all around him. I am the pinnacle! The Alpha, and the Omega! Even your precious Gods fear my destructive power!

Then, Lycaon & Octavian parted from each other. And fear & worry filled Edward's eyes.

Máthair (Mother). Edward thought to himself.

His adopted mother, Becky, appeared in front of him. Her face like the others.

You will fail to protect the ones you care about the most. The Voice repeated.

The swirling darkness dissapeared from his mother's face and she looked down at him.

"Edward?" She said. "What's hap-"

His mother gasped as a sword blade burst out of her chest, her blood splattering across his face. His eyes widened as she collapsed in front of him. He desperately struggled against the dark chains. At first they held completely, but, just a couple of tugs later, they snapped. Edward tried to quickly go over to his mother, but she, along with everything around him, fell into darkness. Edward turned around and gasped as his throat was violently grabbed. He looked at what grabbed him. It was another Edward. Except the other him had the dark swirls over his eyes & mouth. The doppelgänger squeezed Edward's neck and lifted him up, off the ground. Edward struggled against the doppelgänger's hand, but he had iron grip.

When we get done with you, Edward Moore, The Voice said. You're going to wish that you just stayed with your Mother. You, like all of the others. Will be swallowed into the darkness.

The swirls on his doppelgänger's face began to grow. The swirls engulfed his body and it began to envelop Edward's body. He tried to move but, he was stuck. Edward forced the stitches on his mouth to rip apart, which they did. Very violently. Blood poured from Edward's mouth as he yelled in pain from his shredded, bloody mouth. And then. Darkness.
