A Fire Princess and a Saiyan: a Dragon ball Super/Last AirBender crossover (I do not own the rights to either one of these franchises)
Hey guys it's chaoskeeten with another chapter of this amazing story. Last chapter I covered the events of the episode "The Beach" from the side of Azula and Goku black. This chapter will still be based on that episode but from the side of "Team Avatar". This chapter will finally introduce the arrival of Goku and Vegeta to the team.
I have a idea to introduce one more character to the story though I'm torn in deciding who I should put in. I'll reveal more at the end of this story though what I will say right now is it won't be Berrus or Whis (though they will be instrumental at the end of this story and to help train said character)
With the introduction out of the way let's get this chapter started.
Chapter 8
It has been nearly three months, three months since the world has last heard of the Avatar. Since then fall of Ba Sing Se and Azula killing the Avatar, Katara successfully brought him back to life with the spirit water that she had gathered from the Norther Water tribe after the siege a long time ago. Aang's spirit went to the spirit world and try to reconnect with his past lives; less he want the cycle to end. Once he meet his previous four lives (Avatar's Roku, Kyoshi, Hei Bai, and Yangchen) he returned to the physical world (though with his trip to the spirit world would be mostly a forgotten dream to him) he woke up not only on a captured Fire nation ship but realized he has hair on his head. Trying to make amends and fix his mistakes he set out alone one night to end it all when a storm caused him to crash and thinking he had failed once again. Yet Roku and the former Princess Yue helped him to remove the quilt and doubt from his mind and guided him to Roku's former temple on Crescent island. Finally accepting that he must hide and let go of his past he placed his broken glider on the beach and left with his friends, intent on being with his friends.
Now the gang had to run away from the Fire nation to avoid detection after helping a village defend from the Fire nation after a factory was destroyed. They decided to hide in the hot springs for a few days unaware what will happened in the coming moments. "Aang, I know swimming is fun and all, but do you really thing you should be exposing yourself like that? Cover up" Said Toph who noticed his tattoos are exposed. "What? I'm wearing trunks." Said Aang in a innocent but defensive tone. "I know, it's your tattoos I'm worried about. What if someone sees you?" Said Toph. "There are walls all around us. It's completely safe."said Katara who was finishing getting the water from her hair out as Sokka was fixing for food.
Either the universe hates the group or out of pure luck two Fire Nation soldiers were on guard duty and from the looks of them pretty bored out of their minds. "This has got to be the most boring job in the Fire Nation. Nothing ever happens." As the two guardsmen were on watch duty their luck completely changed when they see the avatar in the water as the first guardsman realized what he saw. "The Avatar's alive! We better send a messenger hawk to the Fire Lord." As he got down to write the message the second guardsman brought out the hawk and a ribbon as they attached the message to the hawk and let it fly off to the Fire Lord.
"A black ribbon message. This is so exciting." Said the first soldier as he began to chuckle while the second one wasn't so amused though thought of themselves as hero's for finding him. "We could get a big reward from him seeing as we found him." "As long as that bird makes it back home we have nothing to worry about." "That's the truth, say what's that above us?" "What?" As they looked up they saw a wormhole of some kind open up and drop two objects on top of the guards knocking them out. From the dust see both Goku and Vegeta standing back up yet stretch out from that fall. "Remind me Kakarot to never listen to one of your crazy ideas ever again." "Well were here anyway Vegeta, hey wait a minute why do you sound younger Vegeta?" "Either that fall hit you harder in the head then I realize or...wait a minute! Kakarot why do you sound younger?!" As both Saiyan's walked over to the water they saw reflections of themselves much younger which scared the living shit out of both of them. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO US KAKAROT?" "VEGETA I DONT KNOW BUT IM SCARED AS WELL. I DONT LIKE THIS ONE BIT. wait Vegeta, do you think by exiting to this place that out bodies aged down?" Said Goku as Vegeta quickly regained control of himself. "It's possible Kakarot, maybe black went through the same thing as we did." "Let's hope so Vegeta, last thing we need is to be at a disadvantage when we meet him again."
As the two Saiyan's began to look around they see a cave entrance that had someone or something going in and out of judging from the water activity nearby. "Let's check out that cave, hopefully there's something useful for us." "Or someone. I feel someone that is strong in there but I can't tell who it is Vegeta." As they flyover to the entrance the energy that Goku felt early was stronger and close by as they made their way in. "Kakarot I hop you know what up your doing. For all we know we could be facing black right now." "It's definitely not black though I can't tell who it is." As they make their way into the springs area they see a bunch of kids close to their current age as they began to see who they were. "That's him down there." "Who Kakarot?" "The one with those weird tattoos on him. Wait I'm only seeing three people down there but I feel the energy of four people." "Then where's the other..." before Vegeta could finish his statement he was knocked out by a large bolder that fell on him. "VEGETA!" As Goku tried to power up he feel his power not even returned as he barely got himself into Super Saiyan for a second before dropping back down to his base state. "What happened to me?" He said to himself before getting knocked out as well by Toph who put rock handcuffs on them.
"Take that you idiots. I need some help carrying these two idiots down. Help me out twinkle toes." As she grab one of them Aang grabbed the other one as they made their way back down to where Appa was at where she a stone pillar was made from her earthbending as she tide them both up. "Who are these crazy people?" Said Katara who looked at the one with the flame haired one. "Well they definitely weren't trying to sell cookies to us, so they got to be mercenaries from the Fire Nation." Said Sokka who got a chuckle from Aang. "As much as I think they could be mercenaries, I don't think they are. If they were; they would've attacked us first not spy on us." Said Aang. "I don't think they were hired from the Fire Nation, in fact I don't think they're mercenaries at all." Said Katara. "Well who ever they are one of them changed hair colors from black to yellow for a couple seconds and if he can do that, then the other one could as well."
As they continue to debate on who they are one of them started to wake up prompting Sokka to throw his trusty boomerang at him but instead it was caught by Vegeta who catches it and throws it to the ground. "For a bunch of little brats, you all are a interesting bunch, especially the blind one." "I'll take that as a compliment." Said Toph who saw the stranger starring her down with anger rising from him. "Easy Vegeta, last thing we need is to get into a fight with them, especially that girl who threw those rocks at us." "Fine, though I want a match with you soon blind one." Said the mighty prince who felt like he could beat her.
"I guess you just introduced your friend there, but what's your name?" Said Aang who wants to know who this stranger is. "Names Son Goku, but my close friends and family call me by my birth name Kakarot. And who are you guys?" As Aang walked up to address his friends. "My name is Avatar Aang, to my left is Katara and her brother Sokka, and my right is Toph. Behind me is my air bison and friend Appa and my flying lemur Momo." Said Aang as Sokka walked up to him. "Together we are TEAM AVATAR." said Sokka which earned Vegeta to laugh as he though a bunch of teens are a team. "HAHAHAHAHAHA. is that supposed to be for real, cause if so i feel bad for you little kids." Though Goku noticed something different about Aang but couldn't understand what he was feeling but knew he went threw something bad in his life. "Thanks for the introduction but can someone tell us where we are cause we're looking for someone." "Along with some information of what we're up against and how a blind girl was able to move a rock." Said the two Saiyan's as Toph starred at Vegeta who mocked her abilities.
"Well this might take a while so get yourselves comfortable cause it's going to be a long story and grab some popcorn guys if you feel hungry as well." Said Sokka in a comedic tone as the two saiyan's sat down and began to listen to their stories. After several hours and many corrections made by the others they finally made it to where they are at as Vegeta began to stretch out. "I'm impressed with you kids, but if you all are going to overthrow a tyrant like this "Fire lord"; then you will need to understand that sometimes you will have to take a life to save the ones you love, even if it goes against one's beliefs." "Vegeta's right, and I'll admit I still would give out mercy to my enemies as well, even if they deserved to die. But I've slowly started to accept that some are beyond redemption."
"You said earlier that you two were looking for someone. Is he a friend of yours?" Said Aang as Goku looked at him. "No Aang, though he basically looks like me and sounds like me." "Basically there's a evil version of Kakarot running around on your world and we have to find him before he starts destroying all life on this planet." Said Vegeta as Team Avatar was confused as to what he meant by that statement. "What do you mean by that? And how did your friend change hair colors from black to yellow?" Said Katara which surprised the two saiyan's. "To be honest, I was surprised that you saw me do that. But to make it simple and short me and Vegeta are from a different universe and from a race called Saiyans. And that yellow haired state is what we have called Super Saiyan though we can go higher then that form." Said Goku as Sokka was absolutely dumbfounded that he's actually encountering aliens. "Woah wait a minute, are you telling us that your from space? Cause if so that's AWESOME MAN!" Said a shocked Sokka as he got the confirmation from the two strangers as they nodded their heads.
"Now that we got introductions out of the way and knowing that we have a common foe to fight against, we should have ourselves a feast cause I'm starving." Said Goku as it started to get dark outside as Vegeta pulled out one of the capsules Corp bottles that his wife Bulma gave to him before leaving. As Vegeta was setting up dinner Goku saw Aang outside at the beach starring down at the water. "Hey Aang, you alright?" "Yeah I'm fine, though tired from today." "From what I can feel; you are something unique kid, I sense something strong within you. From what everyone told me is that your a Avatar and you basically have past lives from god knows how long ago." "Yet I hold the burden of trying to save the world and also being the Last Airbender. Now the world thinks I'm dead." "Sometimes Aang, a true hero is not necessarily the strongest or the fastest, it the bravest. They are the ones willing to go that extra mile to protect the ones they love." As aang looked over to his friends that he started to treat as a second family and to Katara someone he truly loves. As soon as Vegeta finished setting up dinner everyone had themselves a meal of the lifetime though Aang was a bit uncomfortable seein as he was a vegetarian though he didn't mind at least trying some of the food out. After the meal everyone headed off to sleep around the beach.
During the middle of the night a large and tall man was watching over the group. While physical he could give even the most Skilled none bender a fight of a lifetime. He was secretly hired by Prince Zuko to hunt down the Avatar; fearing that he might still be alive despite what Azula said. What stands out from everyone was two things: one he has a metal right arm and right leg from a accident many years ago yet the strangest thing on him was a tattoo of a eye on his forehead. Tops was the first person to sense him along with Goku and Vegeta. "Guys, you're all going to think I'm crazy, but it feels like a metal man is coming." "Not only that, but his ki is building up!" Said Vegeta as he saw this tall man inhale and exhale as he shot a combustion wave at the group. Aang used his earthbending skills to deflect it but caused everyone to fall back as he fires another wave at the group. Aang uses air bending to use as a shield but the force of the impact pushed him back. Katara launched a wave at the assassin with her water bending but the assassin launched another wave from his tattoo that caused to make another explosion.
Several minutes later another explosion as his attack hits a hill. Team Avatar and the saiyan's are trying to figure out how to get out of here. "This is crazy! how do we beat a guy who blows things up with his mind?" "We can't! jump on Appa! I'll try to distract him!" "I'll help out. Vegeta make sure everyone is safe." "On it."
As Everyone else got on the Air bison Aang and Goku jumps over the smoke and airbend and fly to the canyon. "We just need to stall him for a couple minutes then I'll get us out!" Said Goku as Lee launched several Ki blast at him only to be destroyed by his wave attack. The assassin launched another attack on Aang as he hides behind one of the large stone columns, and another, and another as each stone colum he hides gets destroyed until Aang uses earthbending to move a column at him who fires another shot at it. As aang punches his way through another pillar, Goku launches out more Ki blast at him as he attempted to try to close the distance but found himself forced back with the assassins attack. After several minutes of playing cat and mouse, Aang escaped along with Goku who used instant transmission to get to Appa and the others. "I'm okay." Aang said as he held on to Katara as she held on to him. "Well,that was random." Said Toph as she thought something like this was weird. "I don't think so. I have a feeling he know who we are." "Maybe you guys, but I doubt he seen us, and judging how determined he was to get Aang, my money is that he's a assassin from the fire nation." Said Vegeta. "But it doesn't explain how he knows that Aang is still alive." Said Sokka as he made a valid point. "Maybe someone from the nation doesn't believe that he died."
After a few minutes of debate both Goku and Vegeta felt a familiar power, one that they encountered a long time ago. "Kakarot, do you feel that power?" "I do Vegeta, and from the looks of things, he's gotten stronger. And bolder." As they continue to feel this power continue to climb the others could feel the pressure also clime and it got to the point where Kakarot had to create a shield around everyone to shield them. "What's this pressure I'm feeling?" "It feels like something is crushing us!" Said Toph and Katara as Goku looked back at the group. "That pressure is coming off from Goku black, and he's the reason why we're here in the first place." "I also feel two power fire benders close to him which leads me to conclude that black must have hired that assassin to kill Aang."
As they continue to fly off into the night they realize that their world has changed with the arrival of Goku and Vegeta and their enemy: Goku black. Later on at night as everyone was asleep Aang could hear a voice call to him but it wasn't any of his past lives no. The voice soon began to take shape of a humanoid man with green skin, long pointy ears, and two mysterious earrings on and a ring on his right index finger as he started to call out Aang's name in the night.
And that's the end of the chapter here, so earlier I said I'm going to introduce another character in the story but I need help deciding who.
