Odd & Jeremy's Room

Odd was standing behind Jeremy as this was the day, according to Einstein himself, that the program to materialize Aelita would be created. No mistake on Odd's part or just a hair being materialized. If this test worked, they'd have the answer.

Jeremy launched the program after thoroughly going over it. "I'm positive it'll work this time." When the positive symbol came up, Jeremy and Odd both smiled. "All the dry runs have worked."

"Yes!" Odd loudly whispered. "You really are a genus Einstein."

"You should call Yumi." Jeremy smirked as Odd had been rubbing off on him a bit. "After all, your girlfriend still needs a place to stay."

"It's not exactly like that Jeremy." Odd defended as he blushed. "I'm just going to call her." He dialed and got through to Yumi. "Yumi, Einstein's done with all the testing on his latest program, and everything comes back positive."

"Alright." Yumi replied. "I'll talk to my parents tomorrow."

"That's fantastic." Odd stated. "We'll be sure to tell Ulrich."

They then hung up, and the roomie's soon turned in.

Principal Delmas' Office, Next Day…

Odd and Jeremy stood in the office while Delmas looked over the paperwork and recommendations Jeremy had fabricated for her.

"Aelita, huh?" Delmas looked to Jeremy. "So, this your cousin Jeremy?"

"That's right sir." Jeremy nodded. "She's certainly as intelligent as I, so she'd be a great addition to the academy."

"I see." Delmas was certainly interested. "Where is she from?"

"She's actually from Canada, sir." Odd explained. "She gained interest in this academy when we became pen pals and wishes to attend."

"Hmmmm." Delmas stroked his chin in thought before speaking up. "Well, her papers certainly are in order, and the recommendations from your parents speak volumes. I see no reason to bar her from attending our academy. Let me know when she arrives."

Hallways

Odd and Jeremy high-fived once they were out of the office before the former put an arm around the later.

They were happy and that didn't escape the eyes of Jim. "Okay, what are you two up to, huh? You know this building is off limits to students at eight in the morning."

"We are aware Jim, but Odd and I had a meeting with Principal Delmas to discuss my cousin attending the academy." Jeremy fixed his glasses. "I brought Odd along because he and my cousin are pen pals, so he has a vested interest in getting her here."

"I almost believed that coming from you Belpois. Jim stated. "Then, you got Robbia involved, and now I think there's something fishy going on." He crouched before them. "I'm more aware of your group than you think what with your little pranks and the way you disappear."

"Hey, we've really toned down on the pranking and vanishing in a park isn't a crime." Odd defended.

"Maybe so, but I think there's more to your little group." Jim stood. "One of these days, I'll find out what that something is." He pointed them along. "Now, to the cafeteria. Hurry up."

Outside

Jeremy and Odd had met up with Ulrich who was leaning against a pillar before filling him in on everything. "If you ask me, we should be more careful." Ulrich shook his head. "If Jim's going to play detective, he's liable to find out everything."

"It's a possibility, but soon it won't matter." Odd declared. "We'll get Aelita out and shut XANA down for good not to long after."

Don't get Odd wrong. He loved being a hero, but he cared for Aelita more. Aelita, no one, was safe with something like XANA around.

"Hey guys." Yumi was running over to the group clearly happy. "Great news. My parents said okay."

"So did the principal." Jeremy stated. "I must say, Odd's ability to recreate handwriting would be terrifying in the wrong hands."

"No need to worry about that." Odd stated. "I'm not proud of what had to be done, but it's all for a good cause. Speaking of which, we should get to the room and tell Aelita the good news."

Everyone could agree and the group ran on through the courtyard catching the eyes of Sissi, Nicholas, and Herb.

Odd & Jeremy's Room

The whole group crowded around the computer with Odd taking the seat as they contacted Aelita. "Hello everyone, is something wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong Princess." Odd smiled. "In fact, we're calling you because of the exact opposite. Einstein's done it. He's completed the materialization program."

Aelita smiled. "Really?"

All four of them answered. "Really!"

"That's so great!" Aelita exclaimed. "I can't believe it's true!"

"Here's how this needs to work." Jeremy stated. "I'll need to set up the program in the supercomputer while you need to get to the passage tower in Lyoko's Forest Sector. The others will be with me on standby just in case XANA's got some problems with this."

"Right." Aelita stated. "I'll make my way to the tower. See you later my friends."

"See you after classes Princess." Odd declared.

Jeremy then grabbed one of the disk before the group walked out of the room and ran down the hall only to bump into Jim of all people. "What wrong? Up to no good again?"

"Jeremy was just helping us study like he has been lately." Odd lied.

"Likely story." Jim wasn't buying it. "Now, we're going to stay right here until you tell me the truth."

"Jim." Principal Delmas just so happened to be walking the halls of the dorms. "What is going on here?"

"I'm glad you're here sir." Jim turned to his superior. "I don't know what's going on, but these little devils are up to no good. I intend to find out what that is."

"Oh yes, another one of your stories about secret plots and passages." Delmas shook his head. "Leave these kids alone Jim. Ever since Jeremy started tutoring them, their grades have improved, and they've been model students. If I were you, I would focus more on my job."

Delmas walked away leaving Jim rather down. Once the guy was gone, it was clear that Jim was frustrated.

"What are you waiting for?" Jim turned to the kids. "You have class now, so get going!"

Science Class

Normally, Odd would be doing his best to pay attention to Ms. Hertz since he needed every advantage possible to continue doing as well as he has, but he couldn't help it. Soon, Aelita would be free from Lyoko. Free to live a life she wanted.

A familiar beeping caught Odd's attention, so he turned to see Jeremy peeking at his laptop. "Aelita's in trouble Odd."

"…Obviously, this phenomenon depends on certain factors." Mr. Hertz stated. "Who can tell us which ones? How about you Jeremy?"

Jeremy looked up and smiled giving his best guess. "Uh, the frog."

Obviously not the right answer, but the bell rang allowing the boys, after Ulrich motioned for Ulrich to follow, to run out of the room. Ulrich even called in Yumi. As the boys ran out of their building, they didn't notice Jim hiding nearby.

Forest

Yumi soon joined the group and they continued running straight for the sewer with Jim trailing behind them.

"Mind filling me in?" Yumi questioned.

"It's XANA." Odd stated. "He knows the end is near, and he's not going down without a fight."

The Lyoko Warriors entered the sewer managing to avoid Jim seeing them doing it. At this point, his investigation was at an end while the warriors rode their modes of transportation to the factory.

Factory

The group rode the elevator down and entered the room with Odd immediately jumping into the chair and putting the head set on. "Princess!" The guy was worried beyond belief. "Princess, can you hear me!?"

"It took you such a long time." Aelita stated as she appeared. "I can see the Passage tower in the distance, but three Blox are standing in my way. They're keeping me away at all cost."

Odd immediately stood and gave control over to Jeremy while motioning for the others to follow him.

Jeremy took the seat. "Don't worry Aelita because I got your location localized." He was already prepping the virtualization. "Help is on the way."

"I don't want to rush them, but they do need to hurry." Aelita stated. "I'm not sure if the Blox will converge on me."

"I read you loud and clear." Jeremy stated. "The others will be there in minutes. Once the coast is clear, head for the tower. I'll then launch the program."

Forest Sector

All three warriors were virtualized before Jeremy spoke to them. "Aelita is just south of your location."

The group immediately ran that way finding Aelita in her little hiding place.

"Alright Einstein, we've met up with Aelita." Odd declared.

Computer Lab

"That's great." Jeremy held up the disk he brought. "Get ready because I'm launching the program." When he put it in, the disk turned out to be of that dumb music video he helped Odd film called Break-Break-Break Dance. "Oh no! what have I done!?"

"Problem Jeremy?" Yumi asked.

"I had the wrong CD ever since we left the room." Jeremy lamented. "It's one of those dumb videos Odd talked me into helping him make rather than the program we need." He shut the music off. "I got to go back to the dorm."

"Alright, but you got to hurry Jeremy." Odd couldn't believe that one of those videos was biting them in the butts. "Every second we spend here is another second XANA gets to stop us."

Jeremy took off without another word intent on getting the right disk and getting back.

Forest Sector

"We need to hold down the fort guys." Odd declared. "While Jeremy's away, we can clear the way to the tower. Are you with me?"

"Sir yes sir." Yumi/Ulrich declared.

The three warriors charged in.

Kadic Academy

Jeremy was booking it back to the room not even realizing that Jim saw him from the soccer field during one of his classes. This time, the coach was determined not to let him escape.

Forest Sector

Yumi threw a fan, Odd shot one of his laser arrows, and Ulrich sliced clean through the symbol. The result was three destroyed Blox clearing the way for Aelita.

Kadic Academy

Jeremy made sure he had the right disk before leaving the room only to be confronted by Jim. The couch wanted answer which Einstein didn't want to give leading to a chase. This resulted in Jeremy falling down a set of stairs. By the time Jim caught up, he was genuinely worried.

Sure, he wanted answers, but it's not like he wanted any kid to get hurt. Jeremy wasn't to certain about that, so he tried to run only to realize that his ankle had been hurt making that impossible. By this point, Jeremy would need a one-way trip to the nurse office.

Forest Sector

The entire group now stood within the tower.

"Jeremy, can you hear us?" Aelita questioned. "We're in the tower. Jeremy?"

"Einstein, where are you?" Odd questioned.

Ulrich spoke up. "Forty-five minutes is a long time to pick up a CD."

"I sure hope nothing bad happened to him." Yumi added.

Little did the group know, Xana had rolled out a couple of Megatanks to try and stop the process before it ever began.

Kadic Academy

Jeremy was currently having his leg wrapped and trying to somehow get out of there. He had to get back to the factory, but everything he tries didn't work. Jim was currently being punished by losing his job which really devastated the guy since he loved to teach physical education.

Forest Sector

The tower the group stood in shook terribly as both Megatanks opened fire on it.

"What was that!?" Yumi shouted.

The group ran out of the tower and saw a Megatank on either side.

Kadic Academy

Jeremy tried to use the bathroom as an excuse, but the nurse circumnavigated it by leaving to get him a basin. Once she was gone, Jim entered to apologize. At this point, Jim was Jeremy's only hope. Fortunately, he had something the guy had been wanting for a long time now.

Forest

After striking a deal, Jeremy rode piggyback on Jim as he carried him to the factory. Upon seeing the manhole cover, and removing it, Jim was ecstatic to be proven right. He just knew that something was up and had the proof before him.

Forest Sector

Ulrich was standing guard at the tower while Odd and Yumi did everything in their power to destroy these Megatanks. Odd was shooting off arrows and Yumi was throwing her fans; however, the tanks just closed off their symbols every time.

Yumi eventually decided to get a proper shot in as she charged the tank and threw her fans at just the right angle. The Megatank blaster her as her fans hit some nearby tress and bounced off. The fans, just as they devitalized, nailed the Megatank taking it out.

"Yumi!" Ulrich shouted after observing everything.

Factory

Jeremy had been filling Jim in on everything which put the guy on guard as he was scanning the perimeter. As they descended, Jeremy was finishing up the explanation and ending it with their plans to materialize Aelita.

They finally arrived at the floor and Jeremy opened it. "Here we are."

"Whoa." Jim was amazed. "Well, what do you know? Who'd have believed it?"

"Hey Jeremy!" Yumi had climbed up the ladder, "Are you back? The elevator…" She had reached the top and froze upon seeing Jim of all people. "Jim!?"

"Yeah, it's Jim." Jeremy stated. "Don't worry. He's one of the gang now." Yumi wasn't certain about this, but she decided to trust in Jeremy who had just put the head set on. "Aelita, is everything okay?"

"Jeremy, at last." Aelita stated. "What happened to you?"

"It's a long story. To long." Jeremy replied. "What matters now is that I have the correct disk. Let's cross our fingers and hope this works."

He inserted it.

Forest Sector

After Yumi was devitalized, Ulrich decided to help Odd out. Especially when the guy was heading straight for devitalization himself. Odd had jumped intending to get a clean shot the moment the Megatank started to fire its blast.

Ulrich knew the arrow wouldn't make it before the blast as it would be destroyed before Odd was devitalized next. He Super Sprinted in and jumped knocking into Odd. As he was flung clear, Ulrich threw his blade which impacted with the Megatank was destroying it.

Odd had seen this from the ground. "Whoa, nice move Ulrich."

Ulrich had landed and helped Odd up. "Like I said when this all began, someone's got to watch your back."

Another blast came from the right nailing Ulrich and devitalizing him in front of Odd.

"Ulrich!" Odd turned to see another Megatank to the right as it now geared up to shoot the tower.

"Odd, you're the only one left." Jeremy declared. "It all comes down to you. You must protect the tower!"

"Say no more." Odd declared. "I'm not losing this chance to XANA." He teleported into the path of the blast and threw up his purple shield to block. "Not a chance!"

Odd managed to hold the shield up as the tank fired on him.

Computer Lab

"Hold on Odd." Jeremy was working hard. "Just a few more seconds."

Even though Odd couldn't hear him, Jim decided to voice his support. "Hold your ground Odd. Show this XANA thing who's the boss!"

Ulrich came out of the elevator. "Jeremy, Odd's…"

He stopped upon seeing Jim.

"I know it's weird, but he does seem to be on our side." Yumi stated.

"It's almost ready Aelita." Jeremy was focused on the work at hand. "Get into position on the platform." He got it. "Alright, it's time for the big jump."

"Let's do this Jeremy." Aelita stated. "I'm not sure how much longer Odd can hold out."

"Here we go." Jeremy pressed a button. "Code: Earth!"

Forest Sector

As the process completed, Odd's shield broke on him letting the blast through to his body devitalizing him. By this point, it was too late. The program had been run, and all that remained was to see if it worked.

Scanner Room

Ulrich helped a drained Odd stand before the scanners as the group, plus Jim, waited with bated breath for the result. Something was happening with one of the scanners, but it remained to be seen what the result would be.

Then, the door opened revealing Aelita with human ears and black eyes. She wore a black skirt with a yellow shirt, and dark pink jacket. As Aelita looked at them, everyone smiled.

Odd could barely believe it. "Welcome to earth Princess."

Everyone cheered.

Kadic Academy: A Couple of Days Later…

The group entered history class together with Odd walking with a worried Aelita. "You just need to chill Aelita. I mean I'm no fan of classes like this, but since Einstein started tutoring me, it's not that bad."

"I'd feel better if it were a class on computers." Aelita stated. "I don't know anything about history."

"That's just it. You're here to learn." Ulrich put a hand on her shoulder. "If it were a class on computers, you could be the teacher."

Mr. Fumet spoke up. "Alright students, take a seat so that we can begin."

Sissi's group was currently observing.

"Hm, who does that new girl think she is?" Sissi questioned. "All she cares about is having boys around her."

"Actually, I think she looks worried." Nickolas stated.

"Obliviously, you don't know the first thing about girls." Sissi retorted. "Acting frail and helpless will work every time."

Everyone had taken their seats, so Mr. Fumet spoke up. "We have a new student in our class, but I'll let her introduce herself."

Aelita was struggling, so Jeremy decided to help her. "This is Aelita, and she's my cousin. She's lived a rather sheltered live, so she's rather shy around anyone except her pen pal Odd and I."

"Hm, well Aelita allow me to welcome to Kadic Academy." Mr. Fumet nodded. "We hope you are going to like it here."

After Class

The group decided to have a seat at or around the bench.

"See Princess, there was no reason to worry." Odd declared. "You're a natural when it comes to all this learning business. You totally rocked class."

"I guess so." Aelita smiled. "Plus, I really like history, but you got to admit that you fight a lot here. There are wars all the time."

The boys shared uneasy looks.

"Hey guys." Fortunately, Yumi walked over. "How's our new earthling doing?"

"Oh, I'm fine." Aelita assured happily. "I'm just trying to adapt to so many new sensations. Like the air, the colors, and the smells, but I am honestly fine."

"It's about time to deactivate the supercomputer, don't you think?" Jeremy brought up.

"Well, I wouldn't want to wait for XANA to send us an invitation." Ulrich added.

"I'll kind of miss being a hero, but Aelita's here." Odd nodded. "That's good enough for me."

Everyone was looking at Aelita who was contemplative. "You'll think this is silly, but it scares me a little. Lyoko was my home after all, and I'm not sure what effect destroying it will have on me."

"I hadn't thought of that." Odd rubbed his head. "What do you think Einstein?"

"It should be fine." Jeremy stated. "The program was a success which brought Aelita to earth. That should have cut the connection between them to the point that there are no negative side effects to shutting Lyoko down."

"I don't know." Aelita stated uncertainly.

"Look, if there are any negative repercussions, I promise we'll turn it back on." Odd approached her and gently grabbed her hand. "Trust me. If shutting it off hurts you, I'll flip that switch on in mere seconds."

Aelita smiled and stood before the group walked on together.
