Disclaimers: I only own my OC and his story arc. I don't make any money out of this.
AlphaGodzilla19: I've got a different idea. You'll have to wait and see.
Rosebud66: I didn't know it was your birthday, but I am happy that it pleased you. There will be a lot of cuteness before they get together. I hate when shows just put two characters together without any sign of attraction or hint they like each other beforehand. It'll be interesting to see Jack and Adora fight. Yeah, I really want to see Adora jealous too. She's gonna have the same dress because I loved all of the dresses and suits in the episode, especially Adora's.
Arrowverse Fan 217: Thanks, though you'll have to wait a while for Doomsday.
Jason: Jack is based off of Super-man mythology in general, but he will be having his own stories.
Alan: He will appear in season 4, and his appearance will be different. I'm taking the arrow-verse and MCU route and not using all of the good villains and storylines all at once.
Dren: The battle will be awesome, hopefully.
Oliver: I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with Zod yet, but I don't think that is the approach I'm gonna take, he will find out about his heritage earlier.
Guest 1: Yeah, there probably won't be Lex, like you asked for, but the other villains will appear, even if just for a single appearance. I do have a plan for a few powerhouses appearing but most of them won't appear until further apart, and I am going to include a few of the powerhouses you mentioned.
Tommy: I am totally going to use that line. It is so Catra.
Xandar: Not sure whether or not I'll use that.
Tommy 2: I'm not sure whether or not you're the same person, so, whatever. Anyway, I'm don't have any plans for featuring the legion at the moment. But for Catra I am thinking of having her eventually be in a relationship with Black Manta.
Doom Slayer 091: Yep to Jack and Adora, it's going to happen. I honestly don't care much over the suits.
Billy: Well, I wouldn't call it that, but yeah.
JD: I actually haven't seen Man of Steel yet, though I do want to. I'm not going to be sure until I do see it, though I'll hopefully do so soon. Thanks, I like Jack and Adora too. I am not sure on Mermista. I didn't like Sea-Hawk at first but over time he kinda grew on me a little.
Guest 2: I do know about Hal Jordan, but there isn't much chance I'll use him, as I have my own plans for earth and it will likely not involve Hal.
Fbffhhhjhjjmjkk: I might do that, but if I do, it'll be later on in the story.
Kevin: I'm not sure whether or not I'm going to use the King Hiss storyline.
Leo: That would kinda defeat the point of her. It'd be like giving Lex Luther Super-man's powers, changing it from a battle of intelligence versus force. Catra's strengths are her cunningness, and her agility. I'm going to give her kryptonite claws though so she will be able to harm Jack.
Eddy: Not sure if I could even fit him into the story. Jack doesn't even find the Fortress until later, so he wouldn't be able to set up this sanctuary for animals.
Guest 3: I honestly don't think I have enough room for that. Jack's going to find the fortress soon and the chapters before he does are going to be pretty full. It is honestly good though.
Conner: There'll be more of Adora's point of view in this chapter. In others, I dunno, I only change P.O.V. if it makes sense.
Guest 4: Jor-el was born almost a thousand years after Mara died on another planet, so, unlikely.
Nick: They'll use Mara's as Jack's only has enough room to fit one person.
Guest 5: It'll be a Crystal citadel.
Malcom: I may feature Krypto in a later season.
Diana: He might try, but no.
Wes: Agreed. Catra might not be as smart as Lex when it comes to inventions, but when it comes to planning she's definitely as good.
Chapter 8: Princess Prom
A few days ago, Jack's P.O.V.
I fly into Sealineas. I see Mermista sitting on her throne waiting for me. "Hello your majesty, you wanted to see me?" I ask.
"Yeah, well I need to ask you something," Mermista says blushing.
"Okay," I say.
"I really like you, and I was wondering, would you like to be my date to Princess Prom," she explains.
"Wow," I state, bluntly. "I…ah… Yes," I stutter. "Yes, I will go with you," I say, more clearly.
"C-Cool," Mermista says. We just stand there for a minute. "Ah, so, I guess, I'll see you later," Mermista says.
"Yeah," I say. I then fly back to Bright Moon.
Time skip.
"Uh, hey guys. I got an invite to the all princess ball, Winter Wonderland. Do you know what this is?" Adora asks, from outside Glimmer's room.
"Princess Prom!" Glimmer and Bow both shout excitedly as they open the door. "Princess Prom! Princess Prom. We are going to Princess Prom," as they exclaim, they start dancing around the room, causing me to shake my head in amusement.
"Okay, you've gone crazy, got it. I'll just come back later," Adora says, causing me to chuckle.
"The all princess Ball is a meeting of all the princesses of Etheria," Bow explains.
"And a giant party!" Glimmer exclaims, teleporting over to Adora. "Dancing, food, fancy dresses," Glimmer explains, gripping Adora's hand, and spinning her around, causing me to look away uncomfortably.
"Dancing?" Adora asks.
"It only happens once a decade. I've been waiting years for this!" Glimmer squeals, letting Adora go.
"Uh… But, you know, I'm-I'm only a princess sometimes. Are you sure I should even go?" Adora asks.
"Of course. Every Princess is invited. That include you," Glimmer say.
"Oh. Yeah, it's all in the invite," Bow says, as he lets the invitation scroll role out, and it stops scrolling once it hits the door.
"Okay," Adora says, picking up a part of it. "'Rules for greeting the hostess. Expected curtsey depth. Proper stair-descending etiquette'?" She read from the scroll raising an eyebrow at the last one, basically asking, 'Is this for real'.
"The balls been around for centuries. There's a lot of stupid old etiquette stuff you gotta do before the party," I explain.
"But it's going to be so fun!" Glimmer shouts. "And princess Frosta is hosting this year in the kingdom of snows. Her magic is extremely powerful. She'd be a huge catch for the rebellion," Glimmer explains. Adora looks through the scroll, before sitting on the bed and whimpering. "Don't worry. I'll be right there with you, and so will Bow, since he's gonna be my plus one," Glimmer says.
"Uh… actually," Bow tries to interrupt.
"And Jack could go with you. Together the four of us can handle anything," Glimmer ignores him.
"About that…," Bow says.
"It's the best friend squad in action. Right Bow?" Glimmer asks.
"I'm going with Perfuma," he says.
"What?" Glimmer basically screams.
Scene change, the fright zone, third person P.O.V.
"I'm sick of this. Shadow Weaver failed to get Adora, and if Hordak finds out she's disobeying him, she'll take us down with her. She's obsessed. We need to think big picture here. It's time for someone new to take over—me. So, you in?" Catra says.
"As long as you help me get my vengeance, I'm in," Black Manta says.
"I'm hanging out in your room!" Scorpia exclaims.
"Unfortunately, you two are the only ones I can trust here," Catra says.
"Because we're best friends," Scorpia says.
"Stop being so you and help me think. I have the beginning of a plan, but it's not enough. I need to capture Adora so Shadow Weaver doesn't demote me. I need to impress Hordak so he'll make me the new Shadow Weaver. How do I do both?" Catra says.
"Why don't you try something at the All-Princess Ball?" Scorpia asks, as she grabs out this scroll. "Every princess is gonna be there, so Adora probably will be too. Oh, this year's theme is Winter Wonderland," she adds as she reads it.
"How did you get that?" Catra asks as she snatches the scroll out of Scorpia's hands.
"How'd you get your claws on this?" Catra asks, intrigued.
"They sent it to me. I'm a princess," Scorpia says.
"You're a princess?" Catra asks.
"Yeah, you know. The Horde crash-landed in my family's kingdom. We let them stay. My family gave Hordak our Runestone, the Black Garnet," Scorpia explains.
"You're a princess?" Catra asks.
"Oh, man. I thought everyone knew. I mean it's covered in force captain orientation," Scorpia says.
"I'm beginning to think I shouldn't have skipped that," Catra says, Catra hands Scorpia the scroll back. "Okay, you're a princesses and you're going to the Princess Ball," she adds.
"Oh, no. I'm not going. No. No one liked my family, even before the Horde. Ah… I never really fit with the other princesses. I made them uncomfortable and… Yeah. They don't like that," Scorpia says.
"That's exactly why you have to go. How dare those princesses pretend they're better than you? Just because you're different? How dare they abandoned people who don't fit in their perfect little live?" Catra asks.
"Yeah!" Scorpia exclaims.
"How dare they take best friends and turn them into giant sword ladies who run off with people clearly inferior to you?" Catra asks.
"You're telling my whole life story with your words," Scorpia says.
"Well, time to show those princesses a thing or two. You're going, I'm coming as your plus one, and we are going to make this a night no one will ever forget," Catra says.
"Super Pow Duo going to Prom!" Scorpia exclaims pulling Catra into a hug.
Time skip.
"I can beat Adora's two idiot friends. I can easily outsmart Adora. But I don't know how I can take down her invulnerable boy toy," Catra says.
"You mean the Man of Steel?" Manta asks.
"What?" Catra asks.
"Man of Steel. It's what the cadets call him, since he's invincible. Anyway, I think might know," Manta says. Catra raises an eyebrow. "Hordak, has or found this substance, that can theoretically hurt or even poison this man of Steel, he's calling it Kryptonite. He's being very secretive about it and how he got it but, I do know, that he has been making some more, and he just has to test it," Manta says. "It only work on him because he's something called a Kryptonian, and there are non-others in Etheria," he adds.
"And you know this how?" Catra asks.
"It was covered in Force Captain Orientation," Manta says.
"Of course it was," Catra groans, frowning. Her frown quickly turns into a devious smile. "And what'd happen if he eats it?" Catra asks.
"Only one way to find out," Manta replies, grinning back at her.
Time skip, Adora's P.O.V.
I hear Glimmer and Bow arguing outside my room, and Bow leaving. I then open the door and drag Glimmer inside, shouting, "Glimmer! Good. No time to waste." Glimmer looks around my room to see my info on the prom set up like a murder board. "I've been studying the invite. Advance prep will be key to success. I've divided the rules into base parts. Dance rules, etiquette rules, rules for greeting the hostess," I explain using a pointer to point at the parts of the invite. I clear my throat and use the pointer to point at the chair, signaling Glimmer to sit, which she does. "I then broke down the ballroom into quadrants and I'm familiarizing myself with the targets. Ask me anything," I say, as I give Glimmer quiz cards.
"Princess Frosta," Glimmer says, picking out one.
"Ruler of the kingdom of Snows. First time hosting the ball, biggest kingdom outside of bright moon, neutral in the fight against the Horde. Allies with the Star Sisters, who are friends with Mermista, but not Sweet Bee, who is dating Peekablue, as you can tell from the string. Up means friends, down means frenemies," I explain, pointing at certain parts of my chart. "And also, I made an obstacle course," K say, as I pull the curtain up to reveal said obstacle course. "I'm feeling good! I've prepared for any and all possible scenarios. I am so ready for this ball," I say, putting my hands on my hips.
"Great! When are you going to ask my brother out?" Glimmer asks.
"W-What are yo talking about?" I ask, blushing.
Glimmer chuckles. "Come on, you two could not be more obviously into each other," Glimmer says.
I look away. "I don't like him that way," I lie, blushing.
"Really? Because you and Jack seem really close and he comes you to basically about everything," Glimmer says.
"Okay, maybe a little," I admit.
"Hey, if you ask him out, I'm sure he'll say yes," Glimmer says.
"You really think so?" I ask.
"I know so. Trust me," Glimmer says.
Time skip, Jack's P.O.V.
Bow and me went out and found each other the perfect suits, having a really great time. When we get back, Bow and Glimmer go off, talking about the fact that he's going with Perfuma. Adora runs over to me. "Hey, Jack," Adora says.
"Hey, Adora," I say.
"So, I was wondering… well… I'd like to go to prom… with you," Adora stutters nervously.
"Oh… I-I… ah… I…," I stutter, I take a deep breath to calm myself. "I can't. I'm sorry," I say, avoiding eye contact.
"Wait, what do you mean can't?" Adora asks.
"I… Mermista… I said yes to going with Mermista," I say.
"Oh…," Adora says, looking at the ground.
"Adora, I…," I say, but Adora interrupts.
"Save it," she says, before walking off.
Time skip, Adora's P.O.V.
As I walk into my room. "I can't believe you asked him out! He's gotta be so exited!" Glimmer basically screams. I turn to her before flopping onto my bed. "Okay, what happened. Is Jack okay?" Glimmer asks, sitting down next to me.
"He's going with Mermista," I say.
"What?" Glimmer asks shocked. "I'm so sorry, Adora," she says.
"I don't wanna go to prom," I say.
"Look, I know this is selfish, but I need you to come with me to Prom," Glimmer says.
"What?" I ask.
"Bow and my brother have left me. I want to have someone with me during my first Prom, and if it isn't them, then I'd want it to be the closest person I have to a sister, you. Besides, you've got to show my idiotic brother what he's missing out on," Glimmer says.
Time skip, Jack's P.O.V.
"Oh, hey, it's Jack!" I hear Glimmer shout as she and Adora rush over. I turn to see Glimmer pushing Adora towards the two of us. I see Adora's wearing a beautiful red dress.
"Wow, Adora, y-you look great," I blurt out. I then blush and look to the floor.
"I… ah… thanks. You look great too," Adora stutters, blushing too.
Mermista puts her arm around my waist and pulls me closer, giving Adora a death glare, Adora stares back unblinkingly. I gulp, being stuck in between two beautiful and intimidating girls. There is awkward, and terrifying silence. "Oh, I see Entrapta, let's go," Glimmer says, breaking the silence.
I rush over to Glimmer, as she heads to Entrapta. "Thank you," I whisper, and she just shakes her head and smiles. Mermista and Adora glare at each other for a couple of moments before following.
"Jack! Adora! Glimmer!" Entrapta shouts as she slides down a pole. "Are you here to watch the social experiment, too?" Entrapta asks.
"Social experiment?" Adora asks.
"Different groups are thrown together and forced to mingle. Hierarchies form and break. It's the perfect place to observe behavior. And they have tiny food," Entrapta says, revealing her pocket filed to the brim with tiny food.
"Nope, just here to mingle," I say.
Entrapta smiles and nods. "Where's Bow? I wanna show him my new recorder," Entrapta asks, pulling out a tape recorder.
"He's coming later," Glimmer says.
"Why didn't he come with you? Aren't you friends?" Entrapta asks.
"Why would you think we aren't?" Glimmer asks defensively.
"There he is! Bow!" Entrapta shouts. We all look to see Bow and Perfuma descending the stairs together.
"They're matching. That's our best friend thing!" Glimmer exclaims angrily.
"Feelings seem to be getting hurt," Entrapta states.
"They're making their own inside jokes? What? Is Perfuma his new best friend now?" Glimmer asks, crossing her arms.
"Not gonna get into whatever's happening there," Mermista says.
"People walk around in circles," Entrapta whispers.
"Or that?" Mermista adds. "Do they have a kelp bar?" Mermista asks.
"Yeah, over there, I gotta say hi to Bow and Perfuma but then I can go," I say.
"Sure, meet me there," Mermista says.
"Hey-," Adora starts but is interrupted by Glimmer putting her arm around our necks, and making this weird and awkward forced laugh.
"That's so funny, Adora! What a funny inside jokes the three of us just came up with!" Glimmer exclaims, sweating a little as she lies through her teeth.
"The She-Ra, Glimmer, Jack. It's great to see you," Perfuma says.
Bow chuckles. "Perfuma was just telling me about a winged horse that ate all the apples in Plumeria and then flew away. Sound familiar," he asks.
"Sure, whatever. Isn't this fun?"
"Adora and I are having such a great time here together. Just the two of us," Glimmer says, too busy trying to make Bow jealous, not being able to notice Adora wondering off to get a bit to eat, or several handfuls. Everyone then notices her eating.
"Okay, uh, we're gonna say hi to people. You two wanna come?" He asks.
"No, you guys go on. We'll find you later. I wanna hear the rest of this hilarious story that Adora was just telling me," Glimmer says. Bow and Perfuma then walk off.
"Oh, perfect… Frosta's alone. I'm gonna try to smooth things over with her. Coming?" Adora asks. Glimmer just stares at Bow talking with other party guests.
"I'll stay with her and do my big brother duty and help her, you go do your leadership thing or whatever," I say, in the most awkward way possible.
"Right, I'll see you, I guess," Adora replies, just as awkwardly. Adora walks off.
"Glimmer," I say. She doesn't look at me. I stand in between her and Bow. "Hey, Etheria to Glimmer, anyone home?" I ask, as I wave my hand in front of her.
"What? Why are you doing that?" Glimmer asks.
"Because you weren't responding when I called out your name, right next to you," I say.
"Oh, sorry," Glimmer apologizes. I see her looking at Bow again.
"What's going on between the two of you? Why are you acting so weird?" I ask.
"It's just, what if Bow likes his new friends better than me? What if everyone does? what if I'm left behind?" Glimmer asks.
"Hey, Bow, he cares about you a lot. And that's not just something he's going to forget about you. And even if he does, you'll still have me, because, little sis, I'll never leave you," I say.
"Thanks Jack," Glimmer says.
"Go, talk to Bow, sort things out. Tell him how you feel," I say.
"I will," Glimmer says.
"You gonna be okay?" I ask.
"Yeah," she says.
"I better get back to Mermista," I say.
"Hey, take your own advice. There's something going on between you and Adora, and whatever it is, you two need to figure it out," Glimmer says. I just flash her the slightest smile before leaving.
I walk over to Mermista. "What took you so long?" Mermista asks, annoyed.
"I needed to give Glimmer some brotherly advice," I say. "I didn't know you cared so much," I tease causing her to turn away blushing.
"No, I just didn't want to seem like I'd let my date spend the entire prom not by my side is all," she denies.
"Sure," I say. I grab a food, I don't know what, and try it. I start coughing.
"What's wrong," Mermista asks.
"I don't know. I think I'm having some sort of allergic reaction," I say.
"Have you ever had one before," she asks.
"I've never been sick, period," I say.
"Just sit down, okay," she says.
"Okay," I say, as I sit down.
Time skip.
We see everyone else go off to dance. "Come on, let's go dance. I don't want your first Prom entirely ruined just because my allergies," I say.
"Alright, just be careful," she says.
We go on the dancefloor and start dancing. "Look, I need to know, what's going on between you and Adora?" Mermista asks.
"What are you talking about?" I reply.
"Come on, when you two talk I feel like I'm the third wheel. I just want to know; do you love her?" Mermista asks.
"I… I mean… that's a little…," I stutter, not even sure what I'm saying.
"Do you love her?" Mermista repeat interrupting my babbling.
"I… I don't know," I admit.
Meanwhile.
Catra holds out her hand for Adora to grab. "And you're Prince Charming, Adora? Wasn't he supposed to take you to the dance? Or did he leave you for a mermaid?" Catra mocks.
"Just shut up and dance, Catra!" Adora says, grabbing her hand and starting to dance with her.
"I don't know about you, but I am having a blast," Catra says.
"Whatever it is your planning, it won't work," Adora replies.
"You sure?" Catra asks, smugly, before spinning Adora and they go off to different dance partners, Glimmer in Adora's case.
She sobs. "I got into a fight with Bow and he won't want to be friends with me anymore and I don't know where Scorpia is!" Glimmer shouts, upset.
"What? Glimmer, don't-," Adora tries but Glimmer already moves onto her next dance partner.
Perfuma starts dancing with Adora. "Have you seen Bow? He went to get his cummerbund, but that was a while ago. Right about the same time that Horde princess left.
"What, do you mean Scorpia?" Adora tries to ask, but Adora switches dance partners back to Glimmer. "Glimmer, when did you last see Bow?" Adora asks.
"A while ago. Isn't he with Perfuma?" Glimmer asks.
"No. Perfuma says he's been gone the entire time," Adora replies. Adora then switches dance partners back to Catra.
"Maybe my plan won't work. But then again; maybe it already has. Say, where's your friend Bow," Catra says. Adora then knocks her into an object that shatters.
The crowd starts gasping and muttering stuff. "What did you do to him?" Adora asks angrily.
Catra laughs sadistically. "Nothing permanent," she replies.
Adora grabs Catra by the suit, and lifts her in the air. "Tell me what you did with him-," Adora says, but she's interrupted by an ice block rising from the ground and knocking her away from Catra and too the ground, then several more rise around her, trapping her in a dome. "Revered hostess, she's got-," Adora tries, but Frosta interrupts her.
"The Princess Ball is a ceremony of unity. Violence is strictly forbidden," Frosta says.
"You don't understand," Adora says.
"I understand perfectly. As hostess, in accordance to the rules set down over the centuries, I hereby revoke your invitation. You are to leave my kingdom, and never, ever-," Frosta says, but is interrupted as bombs explode all around the palace, damaging the entire castle and sending the guests around the room screaming. "Remain calm! Stop!" Frosta orders but non do so.
"Glimmer! Jack! Catra has got Bow. You have to find him now!" Adora shouts.
Catra gets in our way. "I'll deal with her, you get Bow," I say. Glimmer runs after Bow without a second thought.
I then punch Catra in the face which looks like it hurt a bit but no were near as much so since, it should've sent her flying and knock her out. She then swings her claws at me and surprisingly pierce my skin. I groan in pain.
"Jack!" Adora shouts.
"What, Kryptonian, cat got your tongue?" Catra quips, smirking. I head-butt her, but she just drives her claws deeper causing me to growl in pain, and cough up blood.
"Catra! Stop, please, just stop!" Adora begs.
"All this could've been avoided if you'd just came back with me to the Horde when I first asked, but no. Now, I needed to kill him," Catra says.
She then pulls her claws out causing me to fall to the ground, unconscious.
Okay, I hope this is good, and I got all the characters in character.
The rest of the episode will play out the exact same with Adora chasing Catra and Catra getting away with Bow and Glimmer, but I'm a little lazy and tried to write it.
The rest of the episode will play out the exact same with Adora chasing Catra and Catra getting away with Bow and Glimmer, but I'm a little lazy and tried to write it.
I hope that the cliffhangers good, and I hope you will enjoy the next chapter.
Also, I would like to announce I plan to do six "seasons". The first fix, plus one which'll involve them in space, and facing some of the most dangerous villains of the galaxy.
