So... Is this chapter a bit earlier? I think it is. Well, doesn't matter. Hope you enjoy reading!

Chapter 8- The Final Gift

Can you take me back to that infinity room again? I thought, hoping Juedui would hear. Though not physically, I added hurriedly. Mom and Dad would panic if they couldn't find me here.

I heard him (is it a him? I can't tell. Wait, do kwamis even have genders?) yawn. [You're boring.]

You're wasting time, you know.

[Finnneeeeee.] Juedui gave a mock sigh. Then I was back in the white infinity room in a blink. No, shorter than a blink. Should I say instant?

"Your mind is amusing." Juedui said drily, smirking (wait, kwamis don't have humanoid forms, so how can I see his smirk?). I snorted. The answer was obvious. Magic. "You didn't seem to think that when you said I was boring," I pointed out.

"Touche." (Author: Sorry I couldn't add in the accent here, I have absolutely no idea how to do that. Teach me, please?) Juedui said while flicking through a file that I was sure hadn't been there before.

Right. Magic.

"So," Juedui asked. "What's the final gift? And you already know that you aren't allowed to ask for anything that could affect the whole world, or someone other than you, like no worldwide pandemics, but we've been over this already. You've gotten brilliant at blocking me from sensing your thoughts. I can't hear a thing about what you're planning."

I smiled mischievously. The Occulmency technique I'd read about in the Harry Potter books was helping a lot in that. I'm so glad it worked! (Wait, does that mean it's real?!) "Well, Juedui, are you ready to find out?" I blocked my mind from being read while saying this.

He leaned forward. "I'm waiting."

"I want the final gift to be..." a drum roll started. I pointed at him. "That you do everything I say!"

.

.

.

He raised an eyebrow. "Could you repeat that?"

"You'll be helping me with everything I need help with. Like, disguising me when I sneak out of the house, not letting my miraculous birthmark time out, because that was probably super annoying for Adrien and Marinette, that sort of thing."

"Ohhhh, so that's it!" Juedui said. "I was afraid you'd make me do a chicken dance or something."

I was instantly distracted by imagining Juedui doing a chicken dance. I shook my head vigorously to clear it out. "You literally just said that it can't effect other people, so I can't ask you to put spells on other people or give me something like an easy persuasion skill. But I can tell you to help me with my ideas, as long as yyou aren't doing anything to the people around me, so AWESOME!"

He stared blankly at me. "...Was I supposed to understand that?"

No, not really. "Anyway, did you give me the gift yet?"

"Yes, I already did it when you were thinking about that chicken dance." He waved his hand. "Now go on, you need to get back to your body."

In a flash, I was back in my body.

But this time, I could fully appreciate Juedui's support, which had me aware of everything around me, even a distant bird's chirping.
I grinned. This was going to be awesome!

So, how was that? Sorry it was so short, I just felt that this was a better ending that anything else.
