Chapter 9: The battle under moonlight
The next battle is between Hyuga and Free as Gwyn and delta looks seriously
"Hmm I want to see what he has come up with." Gwyn said
"Hyuga do you have a plan?" Hikaru asked
"Plan? I got one but I won't tell." Hyuga then looked at somewhere in audience seat
As the duo nodded
"You are being a secretive little brother are you?" Hikaru nudge him
"You are not worthy of facing me and I'll show you why." Free said seriously as Hyuga see the bey top closely
"The rubber." He thought
"First battle!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"Go shoot!"
Both of them shot their bey as Fafnir is doing a low pressure shot
Hyperion deliberately using the ramp as one lost move he would be hit by Fafnir
"Dodge it Hyperion!"
Hyuga shouted as if it was gonna hit Gwyn just saw it
"Heh… he is not bad he is using full speed to dodge unconsciously but that too also." Gwyn said as Hyperion hits Fafnir and it does a reverse burst
"Hwaa!" Hyuga shouted
"Free… He!" Rentaro shouted
"I forgot free had that trick." He said as he facepalmed
"The bey does a low pressure to absorb the opponents energy and then sent it back to him." Hyuga said with a low voice
"That is it." Free said as he wants to left
"So it's a low speed burst." Hikaru said as Rentaro previously said that when a counter clock and and clockwise bey get at each other it cancels out as a result it burst
"One question before you leave? Why am I not worthy of your time?' Hyuga asked
"I commend your effort but that alone isn't the same as your brother there." Free points as Hikaru
"I see… Of course…" Hyuga didn't say a word as the match ended where Delta confronts Free
"Wait senior!" Delta shouted
"What do you want Delta?" Free asked
"I think you are too harsh on him is it just because you are afraid?" Delta asked
"I don't have to answer he isn't worth my time." Free said
"What if I tell you he is as strong as us." Delta said
"Hmm I also see his strength it might not be perfect but he has a potential." Gwyn walks in
"So the two of you want to convince me?" Free asked
"Yeah." Both of them said
"Fine I'll give him a chance just this one tell him to meet me at my training spot alone and don't follow us." Free said
"Got it." Both of them said
As the duo siblings went through their afternoon snack hyuga looks a bit down
"If only I could go all out…." Hyuga said while thinking of the fight
The duo of victories appeared in the cafeteria where they approach hyuga
"Delta!" Hikaru shouted
"That was a good battle." Delta congratulate Hikaru
"Hey could we borrow your little bro?" Gwyn asked
"Yeah sure…" Hikaru said
"We need to talk and stop acting gloomy like that." Gwyn said as the three of them talk outside
"Who is the one with the lab coat?" Hikaru asked to Rentaro
"He is Gwyn… one of Kyoryu Drum's rival and the other one is Delta they are the same." He answered
"Wait how did they know hyuga?" Hikaru asked
"Because it's a coincidence while I was training they both come unannounced." Valt interrupts them
With the three of them
"You want to battle Free again?' Gwyn asked
"But I lost." Hyuga said
"Then do you wanna just give up on it?" Delta asked
"No! I want to battle him again!" Hyuga shouted
"That is the spirit I've got a message from free he wants to meet you on that place." Delta said
"Oh that place where again?" Hyuga asked
"You know the one with the deer." Delta said
"Ah that… yeah got it!" Hyuga said
"Now while we wait why don't we have a practice." Delta said as the trio are heading to the training stadium to work as from the montage Hyuga is seen helping Delta with some of the shooting while Gwyn dictates them both on the parameter
As the time comes both of them sighed
"Go get em…"
"Oh and bring this drone on I need sample data.' Gwyn said
"Sure thing then I'll go…" Hikaru then went off
"He will succeed won't he?" Delta asked
"It's all up to him." Gwyn smiled
Hyuga then goes to Free's training place as he was there waiting for him while meditating as Hyuga follows by meditating right beside him and after a while Free opens up as he his eye as he look at Hyuga
"You've come huh." Free said
"Free-san before we start i want to tell you something are you on your right mind or am I in the wrong here?' Hyuga asked
"Let's just battle both of them give me a reason now don't waste my time." Free said
"Huff…" Hyuga then take a long deep breath and his stance change from their battle before as Free didn't use his
The bey begin their play as Fafnir is doing it's play
"Go Hyperion!" Hyuga shouted
Hyperion clash with Fafnir as Free looked at him as he shows a shadow of someone
"Free-san?" Hyuga asked as Free is being serious
From the look of it Hyperion is currently taken a back from Fafnir as the avatar comes out
"Fafnir!" Free shouted
As the two beys collide with each other Hyuga sawF Free's flashback
"What is going on?" Hyuga saw Free's fragment memory
That day on the match
"Your day as the strongest will be over Free de La Hoya!" From the image of it was someone with purple aura
"Fafnir! Don't give up!" Free shouted
"Now be in despair and know that you lose! Now receive your payment! Lucifer!" The boy shouted
"What is this power?!" Free shouted
"Variant Wall!"
The boy uses his bey as Fafnir can't get enough as Free's bey burst
"Fafnir!" Free shouted
"Valhalla Lean… One day…" He said as he look at his bey
"So this is the power of a legend a bit disappointing.."
The memory ended as Hyuga is forced out as he saw his bey burst
"This was an interesting battle asahi hyuga." Free said as he look at him
Hyuga just look at his bey
"If I didn't give my all then…" Hyuga murmured as he changed how he act as he looked serious
"One more time." He said as abit if his eye resonance like delta
"Apollon Ring." He changed the ring on his bey as his aura looked intimidating to Free
"So you are finally serious show me your strength!" Free smiled as he launch with his starter and their bey energy clash can be felt all over the forest
From the look of it Gwyn is looking at the footage but it was covered by the intense aura that the drone can't take the video of it
"Asahi Hyuga you're interesting." Free said as he gives off the serious yellow eye when he is serious as both Hyperion and Fafnir clash in avatar.
As the battle ended free look at Hyuga
"You are welcome to challenge me anytime and save that for later." Free look at him
"I swear by my bey I will get a win in your sake." Hyuga said
"I was hoping for that much…" Free smiled as he looked at him who gets back to BC Sol
"You could come out." He sighed
"You heard me huh free.." Valt saw what happen but he can't say a word
"Now do you get why I favor him." He said
"He was the same as you just a bit more open…" Free smiled
"Valt did you tell him about my lost?" He asked
"Not really he just watch your match ocassionally I think he is as frustrated because he said he admires your play." Valt said
"Someone as him that likes Beyblade so much I can feel why he is scared of himself he is a monster himself…" Free smiled
"I can't wait to face him again." He smiled it wasn't like facing a deem worthy enemy it was like facing Valt in the face.
"Free-san you are so strong…" A voice from his head said and heard as he looked at the moon and this time he smiled
"The moon looks nice tonight." He said
"Free…" Valt looked at Free
"I'm fired up now want to battle?" Free asked
"Yeah!" Valt shouted
