'' Ma, ma!'' Val squeaks out tapping her mami's cheek as they sit cuddled on the beach while pointing at her brothers and mother in the water, Santana smiles kissing her head as they watch both boys slowly stand up on their surf boards and nods her head.
'' They are getting better, right mija?'' She rubs her back as she feels her yawn and kisses her head. '' I think it's nap time baby girl.''
Val shakes her head and points at her brothers. '' Watch manos!''
'' I know you want to watch them mija, but sleep is important too and I am sure we will be out here tomorrow too.''
'' Si?'' Val asks sucking on her thumb while looking up at her, Santana nods her head holding out a bottle with breast milk Brittany pumped for her and smiles as she takes it immediately suckling.
'' Si, promised. Close your eyes mija, this week was quite exciting for all of you.'' She mumbles lovingly rubbing her back as she nuzzles into her chest, she looks up as she hears her sons giggle loudly and smiles as she watches Brittany tickle them as they goof around.
She takes out her phone snapping a picture of them as Brittany helps them climb back on the surfboard and flips the camera, she takes a selfie after making sure none of their kids faces show completely and uploads them on Insta immediately tagging her wife after uploading a picture of the Britt and the kids building sandcastles the day before.
Oh how much I love watching my little boys and wife goof off during surfing while my little girl cuddles into me for a nap, we spend this past week in Cabo the place we spend our honeymoon and enjoyed a family vacation.
Watching our kids look around in amazement and get excited over every new thing they see just warms my heart, since the first day we got here Britt taught the boys how to surf and after four days they got the hang of it.
Watching my wife goof around with our kids, building sandcastles, surf and just seeing her bright smile warms my heart. This past year was difficult on both of us, but watching the happiness in her eyes makes me forget the pain within seconds.
BrittBritt I love you mi amor and I am so happy to see the sadness fade away and your blue eyes spark brightly again, thank you for everything you do for us and for our children. You are the best mommy, wife, best friend and soulmate everyone could have wished for and I am so lucky to spend my life with you.
She puts her phone down after posting it and kisses Val's head as she drops her bottle softly groaning as she nuzzles her face in her chest, she lays back down settling her on her chest and sighs softly lowering her sunglasses after making sure the sunshade covers her daughter.
Ten minutes later she shivers as she feels cold water drops cover her face and frowns slowly taking off her sunglasses, she chuckles as her wife and sons look down at her with bright happy smiles and covers her eyes against the sun. '' Hey crazies.''
'' Mami, we are not crazy.'' Alex whines out softly dropping down on the towel next to her, Brittany chuckles shaking the water of her body making sure to cover her wife with it and sits down next to the boys as Santana squeals while covering her face.
Nico giggles and shakes his head. '' That was mean mommy.''
'' Nah your mami just needed a bit of refreshment smiley, she will turn into a red lobster if she continues sunbathing.''
'' Jealous that we get a tan and you turn red mi amor?'' Santana asks smirking as she sits up after placing Val beside her on the towel, Brittany looks down at her arms and smirks.
'' I tan quite well myself.''
'' Yeah after three days of walking around in the sun, our kids and I only need an hour.''
Brittany rolls her eyes as their boys cover their mouths to muffle their giggles as to not wake their sister and shakes her head smiling slightly. '' Shut it babe.''
Santana snickers and runs a hand through her hair. '' How was surfing mijos?''
'' Awesome!'' They both squeak out smiling brightly.
'' Can we stay here for a few more days?!'' Nico asks bouncing on his knees, Brittany runs a hand through his hair and shakes her head.
'' Sadly no, but we will surely come back here or go somewhere else where we can surf smiley.''
'' Promised?'' Both boys ask smiling brightly, Brittany nods her head and smiles.
'' We promise.'' She stands up and taps Nico's shoulder. '' Come on Smiley you are still bouncing quite a lot, let's go for a run.''
Nico jumps up nodding his head and quickly crouches down kissing his mami's cheek as his brother cuddles up to her, Brittany smiles blowing her wife a kiss and ruffles Nico's hair. '' Race?''
Nico nods his head looking up at her and smiles. '' To the big rock and back?''
Brittany nods her head and crouches down next to him, Santana smiles rubbing Alex's back as she watches her wife and son take off in a sprint and bites her lip as she sees Britt's muscles contract with every move.
She laughs as she watches her picking Nico up as he overtakes her and shakes her head as he giggles loudly while struggling in her arms as she runs to the sea, she kisses Alex's head as she feels him giggle and smiles. '' They are crazy right?''
'' The craziest, but love them.''
'' Mh that we do mijo, that we do.'' She kisses his head again and smiles. '' Want to help me pick up our stuff? I think it's dinner time.''
Alex nods his head and jumps up, he takes the bag his mami holds out for him and grabs the towels and sunscreen laying around them. Santana stands up leaning down to pick Val up and smiles as Alex immediately takes the towel she laid on too, she turns to the sea as she feels her daughter wake up and covers her ears as she whistles loudly.
She smiles lovingly as two pairs of bright blue eyes immediately lock on her own and calls them over. '' Come on crazies, it's dinner time!''
'' Food!'' Nico squeals out sprinting towards his mami with his mother hot on his heels, Santana laughs shaking her head and sighs.
'' Yep one thousand percent his mommy, even though he has my looks.'' She smiles as he runs past her to help his brother carrying their bags and looks at her wife as she skids to a stop in front of her. '' What do we want to eat babe?''
'' The boys and I want to take you and Val out tonight.''
'' Where to?''
'' That's a surprise babe, but we will get dressed separately.'' Brittany mumbles as they walk to the house they rented, she takes Val into her arms as she reaches for her and kisses her head. '' Hey baby girl, did you have a nice nap?''
Valerie nods her head cuddling into her mommy and shivers as she feels the cold of the bikini she wears against her skin, she reaches for her mami and tightly wraps her arms around her shoulders as soon as she takes her back in her arms. '' Cold!''
'' Is mommy cold?'' Santana asks chuckling as Brittany unlocks the door of their house, she laughs as Valerie nods her head shivering and rubs her back. '' That is just the water mija, she will be warm again as soon as we all got dressed.''
Brittany smiles and walks over to them, she kisses their daughters head and pecks her wife on the lips. '' The boys and I will get dressed in the kids room babe, you and Val can take the bedroom I will place one of her dresses on the bed.''
Santana nods her head and smiles watching them run up the stairs after the boys kissed their sisters cheek, she rocks Val in her arms knowing her wife needs a minute to grab her clothes and walks into the kitchen. '' What do you want to eat tonight mija?''
'' Getti!''
'' Spaghetti?'' Santana asks laughing as Valerie nods her head squealing, she kisses her head and smiles. '' You are just like your brothers, they would eat spaghetti every time we would go out.''
She smiles as Valerie just smiles brightly bouncing in her arms and runs a hand through her dark locks. '' Spaghetti it is, ready to get dressed?''
She walks up the stairs as Valerie squeaks and walks into the bedroom smiling as she hears loud music and giggles coming out of the kids room, she places Val on the bed helping her take off the bathing suit she wears and grabs the red flower dress her wife laid out for her.
She helps her slide off of the bed and holds out her hand knowing she is still too unsure to walk alone. '' Want to help me pick out clothes?''
They walk over to the closet as soon as Val took her hand and Santana opens the doors as she feels their little girl lean against her legs, Val squeals immediately pointing to a red dress and Santana chuckles taking it off of it's hanger. '' This one?''
'' Si!''
Santana smiles taking off her bikini and slips the dress on making sure to keep an eye on her daughter, she crouches down and smiles as Val immediately walks into her arms running her little hands down her dress. '' Partner look for tonight mija?''
'' Si! Amo!''
'' That's right amo!'' Santana exclaims smiling proudly, she kisses Val's head standing up with her in her arms and rubs her back. '' Te amo, mija.''
She walks into the bathroom placing her down on the closed toilet lid and grabs her brush Brittany placed in their bathroom, she crouches down in front of her brushing her hair and smiles as she hums while smiling brightly.
After brushing her own hair and applying make-up, she picks Val back up and frowns as the doorbell rings. She opens the door of the bedroom and peaks out. '' Babe? Are we expecting someone?!''
She sighs as the doorbell rings again without receiving an answer from her wife and kisses her daughters head. '' Let's watch who it is mija.'' She jogs down the stairs keeping a hold on her daughter after she grabbed her purse and walks through the living room to the front door, she swings the door open as it rings again and freezes as she sees her wife and sons standing in front of her each holding a bouquet of flowers.
'' Mrs Lopez, Miss Lopez ready for our date?'' Brittany asks smiling lovingly while holding out a bouquet of red roses for her wife, both boys step forward as Santana places Val down and both hold out the flowers they hold for her.
'' Dinner, hermana?''
'' Si!'' Val squeals immediately taking the flowers, Santana smiles lovingly as their kids hug and pulls her wife closer after taking the flowers from her.
'' More than ready mi amor, you look beautiful.'' She mumbles after kissing her softly, she glances down at the skin tight white dress she wears and runs her finger over her naked shoulders. She looks down at their boys smiling as they look up at her with big smiles and leans down kissing their heads. '' You look really handsome mijos.''
'' You and Val look really pretty mami!'' Nico exclaims smiling brightly, Brittany scoops her daughter up in her arms and kisses her head.
'' Yeah you really do.''
The boys smile taking the flowers from their sister and mami and look up at their mommy. '' We will put these in the water you set up mommy.'' Alex says smiling as he follows his brother into the house.
'' They are growing up so fast.'' Santana mumbles smiling proudly as she watches their boys walk into the kitchen, Brittany pulls her in her arms making sure they don't squash Val in between them and hums.
'' Yeah this was all their idea, they even chose the restaurant with me.''
'' Ready!'' Both boys squeak out as they run back to them, Brittany smiles pulling back and unlocks the car they rented.
'' Alright, jump in boys.'' She says as Santana closes and locks the door, she smiles as both boys scramble into the car and places Val in her seat buckling her in. She closes the door after helping the boys put on their seat belts and slides into the drivers seat after Alex already opened the door for his mami, she pulls out of the driveway and intertwines her hands with her wife's on the gear stick.
'' Where are we going?'' Santana asks curiously as she notices her wife taking a left turn instead of a right.
'' It's a surprise mami!'' Alex exclaims clicking his tongue, Brittany burst out laughing as she sees her wife's jaw drop in the corner of her eye and squeezes her hand.
'' My looks, but the Lopez character.'' She mumbles so only her wife hears it, Santana snickers and looks at her.
'' Yeah like Nico and Val are one hundred percent you, but with my looks.''
Brittany chuckles and nods her head parking the car, she turns in her seat looking at the boys and smiles. '' Ready?''
She jumps out of the car as they nod their heads and helps them out of the car smiling as they immediately take a hold of their sisters hands, she walks around the car opening the door for her wife and holds out her hand.
'' Mommy, can we tell them our name?'' Nico asks as soon as they walk towards the restaurant, Brittany nods her head and smiles.
'' Yeah go ahead boys.''
Santana looks around the restaurant and bites her lip as she sees the luxurious atmosphere. '' Um babe? To what do I owe this?''
'' Ask the boys as soon as we sit.'' Brittany murmurs watching the boys politely tell the host their names, she smiles as the host looks up at her after telling the boys that she will lead them to their table silently thanks her.
She follows the kids and the host keeping a hold on Santana's hand and pulls out a chair for her, she picks Val up putting her in the high chair next to her own chair and walks around the table helping both boys sit down.
She kisses their heads and walks to her chair, she sits down and smiles as the host walks up to their table with three color pages for the kids.
Santana clears her throat after the host walked off and looks at their boys. '' Mijos?'' She smiles as they immediately quit drawing to look up at her and reaches out squeezing their hands. '' Your mommy told me that this was your idea, want to tell me why?''
Brittany smiles slightly as both boys look at each other and winks as they both turn to look at her, Alex sits up dropping his crayon and looks at his mami. '' It's a late birthday celebration for you mami.''
'' Yeah we don't celebrate your birthday last year.''
'' Didn't, smiley.'' Brittany corrects him softly
'' We didn't celebrate your birthday?'' Nico asks tilting his head, he smiles as his moms nod their heads and pulls on his dress shirt. '' We wanted some more family time before we leave tomorrow.''
'' This night is all about you my love, as a belated birthday gift even though it's almost a month ago and a thank you.'' Brittany adds smiling as Santana turns to her in confusion, she reaches out taking a hold of her hand and sighs softly. Brittany bites her lip as both boys burst into a fit of giggles as they see the shock on their mami's face and locks eyes with her wife after handing Val another crayon, Santana gulps pushing back her tears and pulls Brittany closer pecking her on the lips. '' I love you too Britt-Britt and I would do it all over again but I hope it will never happen again, thank you for planning all of this.'' She turns to their boys standing up and leans over the table kissing their cheeks. '' Thank you mi hijos, te amo.''
'' Amo!'' Val squeals out smiling brightly, Santana chuckles and turns to her running a hand through her hair.
'' Te amo mija.'
*It's a thank you for being there for me when I needed you the most, You were my rock during the darkest days of our lives and ignored your own pain just to make sure that I am okay. You did so much for us this last year and I can't thank you enough for that, I love you San.
