2:35 am

Emma was in sheer horror when minutes passed and she couldn't find Killian or Regina. She wanted to see them again so badly, especially Killian. She wanted to tell Hook she loved him one last time before they all would die. Emma felt numb all over. Her mind was beginning to drift and fade.

All of a sudden, Emma could see Killian in front of her, screaming. "Emma!" For the first time in a long time, she truly smiled beneath all the pain. Hook was here now. Her body sped up and she swam strongly now to him, embracing his cold body to hers. "K-Killian!" She smiled and then he kissed her wet blue lips. Their teeth were still chattering as they kissed. It felt odd, kissing someone so cold; it was uncomfortable to them. They didn't care if it was uncomfortable though. She just wanted to kiss him one last time before she died.

"Swim, Emma!" He told her as she followed. "I need you to swim over here." They both swam together for a moment until they saw Regina on top of a wooden door.

"Regina!" Emma called out to her as she saw Regina on the board. Regina could barely hear her, not because she was far away but because Emma was too weak to even yell loudly. Killian and Emma were now swimming up to the board.

"E-e-emma. I was s-s-scared you wouldn't o-of made it." Emma and Killian were now there with Regina.

Killian spoke firmly now to the queen. "Regina, get off of it!" She looked at him and then at Emma, shivering from the cold. "If you d-d-don't get off r-right now, I'm g-g-going to make you get off it!" Killian told her sternly. Regina knew this was coming. If it was between Emma or her, he most certainly would choose Emma to live.

Emma told Killian. "I-i-its okay, K-k-killian."

"No, i-its not." He shivered as he turned to talk with Emma.

Regina took a deep sigh, her breath visibly in the air. "M-maybe b-b-both of us can s-stay on it." She mentioned to them as she slid over partially to give Emma room to get on. Both tried their best to keep afloat but it was obvious only one could be on it at a time. Half of their bodies were in water which meant they would still die from the cold. Regina dreaded what she had to do. She knew it was probably for the best though. She shivered as she got into the water again, and Emma switched places with her.

"S-stay on, E-emma." Killian said to her. Now both Killian and Regina were on the edge of the board close to Emma, huddling together for warmth. The problem was there was no warmth. Both of their bodies were cold, but Killian knew he had to be colder than Regina. She stayed out of the water for about fifteen minutes which gave her some time for her body to warm back up, partially. "T-t-this w-water is s-so cold." Regina said to them as she started to shiver drastically. They said nothing else. The three were silent as all they heard from one another was shivering and chattering teeth. They didn't speak because they had to save their strength.

Because of the intensity of the cold, bits of ice formed in their hard wet hair. They were all numb, but especially Killian. He had been in the water longer than both of them.

A few minutes passed, Emma finally spoke up, while she slid off into the water. "K-k-killian get o-on t-top. Y-you'll d-die if you don't."

"T-that's o-okay. As l-l-long as y-you live." Emma felt tears run down her face. She swam up to Killian and pressed her cold blue lips to his. He was colder than her now, they all were all cold, but especially him.

"No. Y-you h-have t-to get back on." He used some of his strength to push her away. He nodded his head and ushered his girlfriend to get onto the floating object. Regina and Hook tried their best to push Emma back on. Emma got on again, saddened that Killian wouldn't get on. She knew if he decided that he wouldn't, then it was no use trying to convince him.

It was now getting quiet. There were still screams but they seemed distant and quiet. "T-the boats w-will come back f-for us. You will s-see." Emma could hear Regina say softly, eyes still closed. "I-i'm s-so cold."

Killian and Emma just shivered as usual. Then Emma told Hook. "K-killian, g-g-get on the door." Cold breath came from her mouth.

"Y-you need to s-save your h-heat. Stay on, Emma." He replied to her.

The three of them had dark blue lips and palish blue skin, especially Regina and Killian. They almost looked as if they were dead; their bodies were so cold. Their chattering teeth continued. "I-i-i'm so numb. I-i can't f-f-feel anything." Regina spoke only in a whisper.

Both Killian and Regina didn't have a life belt so they leaned against the board to keep up from the water. They would have drowned a long time ago if they didn't. They couldn't swim because they couldn't even feel their bodies.

Emma stared at Killian, grasping to his hand on top of the board. She laid there on her side, with Killian and Regina side to side in front of her. "I love you, Killian." She said softly.

Killian had now totally stopped shivering. "Don't you say your goodbyes. This isn't the end, Swan. Not for you. It is for us, but not for you. Do you understand me? You are going to find a way to survive this. You are going to die in your warm bed, in Storybrooke. You won't die here. Not this night. Not like this. Not like Regina and I." Killian took a deep breath. Emma wept, tears streaming down her cheeks. "You will find a way to move on."

"I-i won't l-l-leave you h-here to die." Emma responded.

"You have to. You must do me this honor. You have to go on. You have to survive no matter what happens." He paused to catch a breath. "No matter how hopeless. Tell me you will. Tell me that you won't give up."

Tears ran down her cheeks. "I'll never give up, Killian. I'll never give up." Hook then smiled and kissed her hand.
