Hello again.

A few things to note about this one: it's a multi-parter, Rarity won't be in the competition directly, and Dash will be getting a life lesson about long-term goals.

Don't own Fairy Tail or My Little Pony.

I can fly! I can fly! I can...fly?

Boom!

Summer woke up with a start from the sudden noise, bumping his head on the wall. "Ow."

Rubbing his head, he walked out to the main area, where he found Derpy waiting. "Hello, Derpy."

"Hello, Summer." Derpy returned as she handed a scroll. "This one is for you, and it ties into Dash's explosion a few moments ago."

"Dash?"

Pinkie Pie was the one who clarified. "Dashie's aiming to perform in the Young Flyers Competition in Cloudsdale!"

Summer glanced at the job board, and noticed one in particular. "Which has a job for additional support ponies throughout the event."

The two mares looked at the same paper, and saw that it indeed talk about the Competition.

Pinkie's hoof stretched over and took it off the board. "Let's go show it to the others!"

"Just a second, Pinkie." Summer quickly read over the scroll, then closed his eyes for a moment. "This one has been invited to attend at the Princesses' side."

Pinkie deflated for a moment, then smiled. "All the more reason to get the others, especially Dash."

Summer just had enough time to finish things with Derpy before Pinkie rushed him off, just in time to see Dash about to take off again.

Pinkie got her attention first. "Dashie!"

Said pony stumbled a step before turning towards Pinkie, only for the Earth Pony to continued speaking. "Summer's been invited to attend the Competition with the Princesses!"

Summer had to face-hoof when Dash paled at that declaration, only to steady her when she went light-headed and started to sway. "Breath, Dash."

"B-b-but I...I..."

Luckily for her, Fluttershy came to the rescue. "Sorry, but Dash doesn't want to mess up her performance, especially the Sonic Rainboom."

"Sonic Rainboom?" Summer asked, having never heard of it.

"Um, it's where she breaks the sound barrier, which sends a wave of colors all around." Fluttershy explained, "She's only been able to do that once."

"Oh! I remember that!" Pinkie jumped. "It helped me find my Cutie Mark!"

Dash looked at her, confused. "It did? But how...you too, Fluttershy?"

Fluttershy blushed and looked away, clearly obvious.

Dash's jaw dropped. "Just how many ponies got Cutie Marks from it?!"

"The rest of the Mane 6..." Summer drifted off from the conversation when one particular memory came to the front.

Could this...Sonic Rainboom...have been what awoke this one...while within the crystal?

He was returned to reality when Fluttershy planted a kiss on him, followed by Dash and Pinkie.

Summer then focused on the task at hand. "Dash, you won't be able to recreate the Rainboom if you're nervous. It won't be easy, but it is possible."

Dash let loose a breath. "I know."

Pinkie then randomly asked "Feeling a little full down there, Dash?"

"A lit-TLE!" Dash was caught off guard when she suddenly felt Pinkie's hoof dive into her, the sensation causing her front legs to buckle and her head to hit another hoof that laid her down gently. "Pink-IE BUCK!"

She wasn't quite able to refocus when she found Fluttershy and Pinkie latched onto her teets, suckling away. It was only made worse when Summer joined in on her opening. The triple attack made short work of any current thoughts of the competition she had from her mind.

Her first orgasm came when Summer was replaced by Fluttershy, only to feel Pinkie's tongue literally coil around the pegasus pony's own. Celestia and Luna, have mercy!

Thankfully for her, the two mares, upon lapping it all up, split off as Summer's member appeared in Dash's face, eliciting an open mouth, a lick, a twitch, and an encouraging growl.

She wasted no time in engulfing the tip, returning the favor until a load filled her own mouth that she gulped down.

Pinkie locked eyes with Dash from above as the mare got back up. "Feeling better?"

Dash smiled. "Definitely."

...that only last until she actually got to the location of the Competition in Cloudsdale.

While he did read and learn about the city of clouds, Summer was still caught by surprise by Cloudsdale upon arriving. Then again, he's never quite had to deal with pegasi enough to actually warrant going to a place like Cloudsdale.

After Twilight had taken care making them capable of walking on clouds, the group had taken to spending the time before the competition just really looking around, except for Summer who was with the Princesses, officially meeting three of the Wonderbolts.

Spitfire was the leader, a mare with a more golden-yellow coat with a two-toned orange mane and striped tail. By her sides were Misty Fly, a mare with a white coat and two-toned striped light blue mane and tail, and Soarin, a stallion with a pale blue coat and deep purple mane and tail.

All three pegasi were apparently quite interested in finally meeting him, if Spitfire's shaking his hoof was any indicator. "So we finally meet, Summer Forest. You're certainly more interesting up close than anticipated."

Summer blinked as Soarin moved a hoof over his eyes. "Really, Spitfire?"

Luna was the one who explained things. "To keep things simple, the private side of the Wonderbolts under Spitfire is...'attention'-grabbing. It's not that she likes to get in the way, she just...hasn't found anypony to truly see it as anything more than simple fun time."

"Understood, Princess." Summer could only keep the tingle that went down his spine from showing upon seeing the now obvious glint in the mare's eyes and sympathy in the stallion's. Does Dash know?

Thankfully, the Competition kept anything beyond that from happening, outside of more congenial conversation.

His attention was diverted when, just as it was about time to get into place for the main event, Rarity showed up. "Darling, do you think you could help with Dash again?"

"Dash?" Spitfire asked, curious.

"Rainbow Dash," Summer clarified. "the pony responsible for the Sonic Rainboom the day Princess Celestia encounter Twilight as a filly."

All three Wonderbolts blinked owlishly as Celestia said "I had been a bit curious about that myself, to be honest. I guess she feels she might not be able to do it again."

"She also dreams of joining the Wonderbolts." Summer told them before addressing Rarity. "Where is she?"

They found her shaking some in the contestant's waiting room.

"This one will take care of her, Rarity. Head back to the others." Summer told her before moving to the Pegasus Pony. "Dash."

Dash started for a moment before relaxing. "Oh! Summer, it's you."

"And you need to breath." Summer responded, getting a look. "This one is serious. It'll only get worse if you overthink about this."

"You don't think I know that?" Dash asked, a bit annoyed. "This is not only in front of Cloudsdale, but also the Princesses and the Wonderbolts, who'll be spending an entire day with the winner! And...and..."

"...and your friends." Summer said, using a hoof to get her to look straight in his eyes. "Ask yourself this, Rainbow Dash: what exactly do you want to be known for come the end of the Competition? Being the winner of it, and spending a day with the Wonderbolts? Or a noteworthy enough contestant, that the Wonderbolts will keep an eye on you for a lot longer?"

Dash didn't say anything, so Summer left her with one last statement. "You'll find the right answer, and apply it, if you think things through."

Dash stared after him until he disappeared, then looked down in thought. What...do I truly want?

She sat down and looked at picture on the opposite wall that portrayed the Wonderbolts, particularly the top three standing proud on a clifftop, with their symbol up in the sunrise sky.

However, after a few moments, it took a bit of a different look to it in her eyes.

Spitfire was replaced by Summer, her companions were replaced by Dash and the others, and the symbol in the sky became the Fairy Tail Sigil. However, it then grew, showing others such as the Princesses and the Wonderbolts with Equestria itself in the background.

She finally couldn't hold it anymore as her mind went back to the very first day she was in roughly that very spot when she was a filly.

Basically, in regards to Spitfire in particular, she doesn't care about decorum behind closed doors. In places such as the locker room, she's blatant in her interest, not caring about gender or numbers. If she ever finds a stallion to make a proper mare out of her, she'll calm down, but until that happens, she won't let any 'sheath' or 'sword' go untouched.

As for the end, it's more for convenience, largely thanks to this essentially being Dash's first canon moment to truly Show The World who she is (hint).

If you don't mind, please R&R.
