Here's Chapter 8! Just finished writing chapter 18 and I can say confidently that you have a lot to look forward to, only a couple more scenes to write and I'll finally be done, then I'll update a chapter a day.

Now lets start the story...

Chapter 8

Leah and Percy were sitting on the edge of the cliff they had just jumped off, watching the sky grow lighter as the sun started to come up over the ocean. Their legs dangled over the side as the waves crashed into the cliff face, ocean mist flowing through the air making their faces slightly wet. Leah was incredibly confused at everything that had happened and had no idea what to say about it. Her side was softly pressed against Percy as she replayed the nights events in her head. Her skin tingled wherever their body's touched.

Her imprint was much more than he seemed, she just wasn't sure how much. She was more than she seemed too, being a wolf and all.

"Your really hot." Percy said.

Leah blushed and looked anywhere but at Percy. "Umm, thanks."

Percy stuttered, "I-I mean, your temperature, not that you aren't hot- cause you are, I mean, erm, do you have a fever?" Percy rambled.

Leah laughed, "Nice save... But, I suppose we do have a lot to talk about. Why don't you go first and explain to me what the heck just happened." Leah looked straight at Percy. "And don't you dare try to avoid talking about it, there's no denying that something incredibly weird just..." She motioned with hands, "You know."

Percy sighed, "Yah, that one was a little weird, even by my standards... Now, where to begin?"

"How about at the beginning." Leah asked.

Percy stared out over the ocean, thinking back into the past, "To do that we're going to have to go way back, all the way to when I was twelve years old. Back when I found out what I really was." Percy turned to look at her. "You know all those Greek gods and such?"

Leah was confused, "Yah, I learned a little about them in school." What did that have to do with everything?

"Well, turns out there still alive. And I'm one of their kids."

To say Leah was shocked would be an understatement. Percy must have seen how stunned she looked because he questioned her. "You don't believe me, do you."

Leah was quick to respond. "No! No, I believe you, it's too crazy to not be true." And the more she thought about it the more she realized she was right. It truly was the only explanation for what had happened last night. Except for drugs, but she'd never done those before.

Percy began talking and started to tell her of all the wild things he'd done in his life, every event that Percy talked about left Leah even more amazed than before, he had been through hell itself and come out on the other side, her own life was a little baby carnival ride compared to all the amazing things he had done. Finally, Percy got to the end of his story, and a strange silence came over them as Leah thought over all he had said.

"Wow..." Leah whispered. "So it's true... And Poseidon's your dad?"

"Yah" Percy said, putting a hand through his hair. "He is." Percy was turned his head. Looking into her eyes, "I think you got some of my power when you saved me last night. Not sure how much, but we know you can breath underwater now."

"Who's Annabeth?" Leah blurted out. Percy looked like he had just been shot, his body stiffened under her. Leah silently cursed herself, she shouldn't have said anything, worst timing ever, why did she have to ruin the moment...

"She- she was my girlfriend... Till she died last year." Percy looked so incredibly sad and broken that Leah felt like it was her who had lost someone as well. She reached her arms around Percy in a protective way. The hug of a friend, a good friend.

"I'm sorry for bringing it up." Leah said quietly.

"No, it's ok." Percy whispered something so quite that she barely heard it."Being with you has already helped a lot."

Leah felt her cheeks grow flushed as she thought about what that meant.

"Well, I suppose we should start heading back." Percy said as he stood up. "Bella's probably worried about where we ran off to."

Reluctantly, Leah agreed. "Yah, we should go, before someone calls the cops and they start hunting for us."

Percy shivered against her. "Charlie would probably bring an armored tank and search helicopters. I do not want him to look for me in these woods. I don't suppose we have a faster way back than just running." Percy sighed.

"Maybe we do." Leah said bluntly.

Percy looked confused. "What do you mean?"

"You know Percy..." Leah said slyly. "Your not the only one with secrets..."

Percy was looking at her with a questioning look in his eyes. He looked even more confused when she walked behind a nearby tree. Bare feet padding softly on the dirt ground. She undressed so she wouldn't tear her clothes, tying them around her foot she shifted into a wolf, coming out from where she was hiding behind. When she came into the light Percy jumped in surprise. He was obviously not expecting to see a large silver moon-grey wolf and his face showed it. His sea green eyes were full of wonder and surprise as they looked her over.

"Leah?" Percy questioned, his voice quieter than normal. "Is that you?"

Leah would have laughed at him if she had been able to, instead, it came out in short yips as she barked happily.

"Woah" Percy said. "This is not what I suspected when you said you had a secret."

She padded up to Percy and nudged him affectionately with her head. Now it was Percy's turn to laugh as he rubbed her back making Leah purr. Not a usual sound that Percy would expect to come from her.

"Am I supposed to... get on your back?" Percy questioned.

Leah barked indicating that yes, he was. Percy looked a little shy and hesitant as he clambered onto her wolf body, wrapping his strong arms and legs around her so as to not fall off. When Leah saw that he was ready, she took off like a bullet, the woods becoming a blur around her. Using her sharp senses Leah was able to avoid anything that she could trip on, dodging past trees with the agility of a cheetah. She was the fastest wolf in the pack and had decided she would show off a little for Percy. Putting on another burst of speed they soon made it out of the woods and back to La Push just as the sun was starting to rise above the trees.

She came to a stop and Percy slid off of her back stumbling for a second before catching himself. Leah left for a moment to shift back into a human. The morning dew on the grass made her feet wet, and clouds were starting to come back. Her day of sun had come and gone. Percy was looking at her, sea green eyes still full of wonder.

"Your fast." Percy said incredulously.

Leah smiled, "Yah, fastest in the pack." No one rivaled her speed, she ran like an arrow from a bow and she was proud of it.

"Pack?" Percy asked.

"You didn't think I was the only one who could change into a wolf did you?"

Percy looked at the ground sheepishly. "Erm, no! Obviously not, pfft, lots of people turn into wolves, like Frank!"

"Who's Frank." Leah questioned. He had mentioned a Frank in his life story to her, but he hadn't been able to go into much detail on anyone, only going over key events. Leah felt sure that Percy had downplayed his adventures as well, she wasn't sure, but it seemed like he was holding back some details. Either way, what he had done, downplayed or not, was still more than most people could do if they lived multiple lifetimes.

"Just a friend of mine that can shape-shift into any living thing." Percy said casually. "Can you turn into other animals?"

"No, I can't. Just this lame old wolf." Leah said

"Hey!" Percy argued. "Your wolf is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! I mean... erm, your wolfs pretty cool."

"Nice save."

"So" Percy asked "Who else can turn into wolves-"

"Leah!" She turned to see Seth running to her. "Where have you been!" We've been looking all over for you..." Seth silenced when he saw Percy. "Oh, that makes sense."

"Percy. I would like to introduce you to my little brother. Percy, Seth. Seth, Percy." Leah said pointing to each of the guys as she said their names.

"Your going to be in so much trouble when Sam finds out where you were, we sent out, like, 3 search parties! And with Charlie being in the police we had to distract him for hours while we looked for you." Seth rambled.

Leah snapped for a moment. "Why would Sam care where I was."

Seth softened. "Leah, your part of the pack. Of course he cares about you, we all do."

Leah looked over at Percy, who seemed to be staring back and forth at the two siblings, trying to decipher what they were talking about.

"Let's go meet the pack. Cmon Percy, I'll show you who the other werewolf's are." Leah said as she started walking off to the backyard of her house. She didn't have any feelings whatsoever for Sam, ever since she imprinted on Percy the night before, but, she was still angry at him for leaving her like he did. And he still pretended to care, that was the worst of all, why couldn't he just hate her like she hated him.

Leah walked into the backyard, looking around to see that just about everyone was already there. Sams eyes narrowed in on Leah's approaching figure.

"Leah!" Sam yelled. "Where were you! Do you have any idea the trouble you caused by leaving!" Percy walked in the backyard from behind her staring Sam down with a death glare that would send anyone running. She had never seen Sam back down in fear from anyone, not even the vampires, but Percy was scary. She new that if there was a fight, Percy would probably be winning for a little while, but would soon be overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of the pack. She put an arm out to stop him, looking up into his sea green eyes to try and tell him that it wasn't worth it. He turned his head to her and when their eyes met he visibly relaxed. Leah grabbed his hand and squeezed it reassuringly as if to say I got this. Percy gave her hand a squeeze back, a feeling that made Leah forget where she was for a moment, then he let go.

She turned her attention to Sam, "I suppose you'll see where Percy and I were last night soon enough. From my memories, and I think you'll have lots of questions, ones that I will try my hardest not to answer." No one else was in the wolf form when Leah and Percy were running back so she was safe for now. She didn't want the pack to see her memories of the night before. It felt like they were intruding in on her personal thoughts. It made her feel violated in a way, and she knew that if they got one inkling of what happened last night, they would need to see the whole thing. She didn't want them stealing away at her wonderful night, besides the evil ghost guy. It was just her night with Percy, and she wanted to keep it that way.

Percy was looking at her quizzically.

"When I'm a wolf, my thoughts are shared with everyone else in the pack." Suddenly, Percy looked like he would rather be anywhere but here.

"Leah, why did you tell him about us?" Sam said angrily. "That's a violation of our laws."

"Can't you tell that he's my imprint!" Leah snapped back. How had he not noticed? It seemed like the most obvious thing in the world.

Sam was taken back with surprise. "Oh... look... Leah we were just worried about you... I'm happy that you, erm, imprinted though."

"What's imprinting?" Percy asked.

"As wolves, when we see the person were meant to be with, we imprint on them, kinda like soul mates, it's like no one else matters anymore except that person" Leah answered.

"So... you imprinted on me?" Percy looked down.

"Yeah, I did."

Percy said something barely audible, "I'm sorry."

What did that mean. Why was Percy sorry? Did he hate her? Did he not want to be with her? What had she done wrong last night. She replayed the memories of yesterday in her head.

Bella walked into the backyard breaking Leah out of her thoughts, she was laughing while Jacob looked around with a wolffish grin. When she looked around and saw the situation she stopped in her tracks.

"Percy! You had me worried sick!" Bella exclaimed. "If your gonna run off like that at least tell me about it first."

Percy got a glare that can kill, am I right or am I right.

Running away is a common theme isn't it...

If your looking for other cool stories to read check out Webnovel. I might write an original story on there after I finish this one.

Next Update is Thursday and thats when the writing starts to get good. (Pretty sure, I'll have to check though)

Also you'll finally find out who the bad guy is, I'm surprised none of you have figured it out yet, I gave a lot of hints in the last chapter. Like how he used to work at camp? And he looks like a ghost?

Who do you think it is?
