Who do you like?
After school Brett picked his siblings up and took them for ice cream. They had a nice night together, doing homework and talking about how much they like it here.
A few days pass and it was now Friday. Brett found out he made quarterback, which made puck furious. Brett and Santana agreed to be friends. Although, Brett still has to try and be friends with Quinn.
Brett was excited, today was Pierce family day. He didnt get to see his siblings often during the week, since he had work and football practice. Pierce family day meant full on family time and the weekend, so Brett could sleep in and relax all day. Maybe hang out with Sam, Mike, and the gang.
The day went by fast, his classes wernt to boring. Now that he only has puck and his goons as enemies, he's calmer at school.
When the final bell went off, Brett raced out of the school, once he got to the parking lot he hopped into his car and started his was to the elementary school.
As he turnes onto the street he saw Quinn walking, and drove up to her rolling down the window.
"Hey you want a ride? You going to pick Kyle up right?" He asked.
"Yes." She replied still walking.
"Well do you want a ride. I'm on my way there." He said slowing down.
"Im good thanks." She says still walking.
Brett just stops the car and gets out, running up to her.
"Hey, come on. I can give you a ride, it's like a 20 minute walk there and they get out in 15. Plus it looks like its about to rain." Brett said pointing up to the sky.
Quinn just looked at him and could see the clouds, she even felt a raindrop or two. She didn't bring an umbrella and she still had to walk with Kyle home. She didn't want him getting sick.
"Fine. But could you drop us off at home aswell? I don't want him getting sick." She asked
"Of course. I have enough room." Brett said pointing to his 2018 van. Which had 7 seats. "I also have an extra car seat for Ty in the trunk. It should fit Kyle." He said with a smile. Opening the passenger door for quinn.
"Okay thanks." She said getting in. Brett ran around and got in. Starting the drive to the elementary school. With a car, they got to the school in 8 minutes. Brett parked the car and turned it off. It was now raining heavily.
"If you want you can stay and I'll grab the kids. I only have one umbrella." He said.
"Sure thanks." She said.
He gave her the car keys. "Here take these, keep it locked unless I'm back. Oh and my sisters usually meet me at the car, so just let them in." He said getting out and running to the kindergarten area.
Once there, he waits for Ty and Kyle.
Ty comes running out with Kyle right behind him. They have been doing that latley, seems like they are gonna become good friends.
"BRETT. " Ty and Kyle scream.
"Hey boys, how was school? He asks putting the umbrella over both boys who are hugging his legs. Quinn watched from the car.
"It was great. We did drawing and watched a movie since it is Friday." Ty says excitedly.
"Yea and ate popcorn." Kyle screams.
"Whoah I'm jealous. Well come on, Kyle your with us today, Quinns in the car." Brett says motioning them to go under the umbrella.
"Woah, is Kyle comming over?" Ty asks, causing both little boys to get excited.
"Uh no, tonight's Pierce night. Maybe tomorrow?" Brett asked.
The boys were sad at first, then Ty asked a question.
"Are you guys dating now? I knew you were." He says as both him and Kyle start gigiling.
"No were not dating, I offered them a drive becuase its raining. Here come on, it seems to be getting worse." Brett said laughing. He opend the back door and both boys jumped in. The girls have yet to show up. Brett went to the back of the van and grabbed the spare car seat.
After the seat was in and both boys were buckled in, they waited for the girls to show up.
"So do you do this everyday? Like drop off and pick up your siblings?" Quinn asks looking over to Brett.
"Yea, I do a lot for them, but thats just the price for being the oldest." Brett said looking back to Quinn.
"Your so good with them, like I know people who only fight with their siblings. But you, its like they listen to you no matter what, and never annoy you." Quinn said confused.
"Oh, well thats a long story. But I guess you can say i basically raised them." Brett said shrugging his sholders. "I mean my mom passed away a few years ago. So I kinda became the parent figure to them." Brett said turning to see the girls walk up.
"Parent figure?" Quinn asks just as the girls open the door and get in.
"Oh my its really raining, I had to find Lily first before we could leave- oh, hi, quinn right?" Julia asked.
"Yea, hi." Quinn said looking at Brett, who was putting the car in reverse.
As Brett was heading to Quinns house, Julia started to speak. "So Brett, I think im going to hang with a friend tonight, so don't wait up." Julia said.
"Yea me to, I wana go hang out with Katie, her parents said its okay." Lily said.
"Wha- come on guys, its Pierce night. You guys don't wana hang out with me?" Brett asked a little sad. Quinn watched his reaction and giggled.
"No, were gonna go to the movies." Julia said texting on her phone.
"Yea, and Katie is gonna show me a new dance." Lily said looking out the window.
"Okay, i guess thats allright. What about you Ty? We gonna have a boys night?" Brett asked happy his brother will say yes.
"No, I wana go to Kyle's, if they get to go out, I wana go out." Ty says showing Kyle one of his toys.
"Ok, I guess thats allright." Brett says turning down the street.
"My house is just up here." Quinn said pointing to a huge house that could be mistaken for a mansion.
"Okay." Brett said pulling into the driveway.
The rain has now slowed down, Quinn and Kyle were starting to get out.
"Hey Ty if you want to come over you can, the nanny is here so you can stay for as long as you want." Quinn said looking from Ty to Brett.
Ty quickly turned to Brett. "Can I, oh please can I? Brett please!" Ty asked.
"Sure go ahead." Brett said sadly, that he was going to be alone.
Quinn just kept laughing.
Ty and Kyle got out and ran to the house while Quinn stood at the passengers door looking at Brett.
"Hey thanks for the ride." Quinn said with a genuine smile.
"No worries, if you want I can start giving you guys a drive. The weather is only going to get worse and you live a bit far. Plus you walk, its really no trouble." Brett said hoping they can become friends.
"Like in the mornings and after school? You would go out of your way to do that?" Quinn asked supprised.
"Yea, i mean why not. Were friends and, and its no trouble." Brett said smiling to her.
"Sure, that would be great, here give me your phone." Quinn asked reaching her hand out.
Brett handed her his phone and watched her type her number in. Then she gave it back. "Okay just text me Monday when to be ready. Thanks Brett, see you later." She said with a smile. Then walked away.
Brett watched as she got into the house and turned to face the front, with a smile on his face. Then his thoughts were interupted.
"Are you guys like, dating or something?" Julia asks from the back.
"No were friends, she was the one I said hated me. I had no idea why, but we seem good now." Brett said driving the girls to their friends houses. When he got to mikes to drop lily off to hang out with Katie, Mike ran out.
"Hey man, you busy tonight? The boys and I are going to the coffee shop in town, wana join? Their might be some girls there." Mike said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Mike your dating Tina." Brett said laughing.
"Oh I know, I meant for you. You can't stay single forever, expecially now that your quarterback." Mike said patting Bretts back.
"Okay, I'm in. My family bailed on me anyways." Brett said letting Mike hop in.
They drove down to the lima bean, parking the car then heading inside. Sam and Dante were already there. Brett and Mike walked up to them.
"Hey guys." Mike said.
"Whoah we didnt expect you here Brett, what a nice surprise." Sam said.
"Whats up yall." Brett said shaking Sam and Dantes hand.
The four sat down at a table when Finn joined them.
"Hey guys, whats up?" Finn asks.
"Nothing much, just about to order drinks." Dante said.
"Yea write down your orders, i'll go and buy." Brett said
After they gave Brett the list, he went up into the line, accidentally bumping into Marley.
"Hey, Brett?" Marley said.
"Hey whats up?" Brett asked, still waiting in line.
"Nothing, just here with some friends. What about you?" Marley said
"Same, actually I have actually wanted to ask you something." Brett said turning to face her.
"Yea, whats up?"
"I was wondering if I could get your number, and maybe we could hang out sometime soon." Brett said with his best smile.
Marley just blushed and looked down then back up to Brett.
All the guys were watching from a far.
"Sure, yea. That would be great." Marley said handing Brett her phone.
Brett typed in his number and handed it back to her. "Great, well I gotta go now. But i will talk to you later?" Brett asked as he handed the crasher the slip of paper with his orders on it.
"Okay bye." Marley said going back to her table with her friends who were also watching them.
Brett grabs his orders and brings it to his table. Once he got there all the guys started to go off.
"Whoo, okay I see you Pierce, your a ladies man." Dante said winking at him. Brett started handing out everyone's drinks.
"Yea Brett that was so smooth, how did you get her number so fast. I struggle all the time." Said Sam.
"Oh come on Sam, Brett just has the balls to actually do it. You just talk and never ask. No wonder you struggle." Dante said laughing.
"Haha, no. I'm just waiting to ask the right girl, duh." Sam said
"I told you, just ask Santana out if you want. She can decide for herself if she wants to date you." Dante said laughing.
"Oh yea good luck with that, she'll never date you." Mike said patting Sam on the back.
"Im lost, I thought Santana was dating Puck?" Brett asked.
"Oh yea, we gotta update you. So Sam here has had a huge crush on Santana since kindergarten. He never gained the balls to ask her out. Not until the first week of highschool, he did. But Puck beat him to it. So now Sam is waiting for when they break up to ask her out." Mike says laughing.
"Hey and I will, I know she has feelings for me. She acts differently around me." Sam says defending himself.
"But that could be becuase your Dantes friend and also cus you guys have known each other since kindergarden." Finn said.
Brett turns to Dante. "And your cool with this? Like Sam daring Santana?" Brett asks.
"Well i mean he is a good guy, and if he were to do something I would fuck him up. But Santana is a big girl and can choose for herself. Plus she would kill me if I interfered with her love life." Diego said with rolling his eyes. "Why B? Do you have a crush on her or something?" Dante asked teasingly with a smirk.
"You can't I have first dibs." Sam says quickly earning him a look from Dante.
"No, no, no. Were just friends. She's not my type." Brett says.
"Really man? She's like a total babe and all." Finn says getting hit on the back of the head by Dante. "Hey, ow. Sorry."
"Yea Brett, we have this bro code. No girl gets between us, if one of us like a girl, we tell the group and then that girl is off limits to all." Mike said
"Ok cool. Don't worry, you won't have to worry about me. But I guess I'll say it. I kinda like Marley, so yea." Brett said drinking his coffee.
"Ehhh ata man, you get her. Have you tapped that yet?" Dante asked smirking.
"Come on guys." Brett said with a smile.
"No seriously shes got a nice ass and body, she is also captin of the soccer team." Finn says
"I admit shes beautiful, but no we have not done anything yet. We might have at Pucks party in the summer, but then we ran into Santana. It didn't happen." Brett says shrugging his sholders.
"Hold up, what happend?" Dante asked
"Oh well Marley and her have a thing? I guess and it just didn't work out." Brett said avoiding what really happend.
"Well what about you guys. Me, Mike, and Sam said who we like. Soo?" Brett asked with a smirk.
"Okay don't laugh, but I like Rachel." Finn said.
"Ehhh, whats wrong with Rachel. Shes nice, smart, and beautiful." Brett said. "What about you Dante?"
"Well mine is difficult." Dante said dropping his head in shame.
"What? What do you mean?" Finn asked.
"Well i kinda like Quinn, and she's Santanas best friend. How do I date my sisters best friend? I have liked her since grade 9. I want to ask her out but I dont know how she feels. I don't wana make a fool of myself." Dante said.
"I mean, go for it. If you truly like her then show her that. That's all a girl wants, is to know you like them and will do anything for them." Brett said taking another sip of his coffee.
"Wow Pierce no wonder your good with the girls, your like the female whisperer." Finn said laughing.
"Well having two sisters can change you." Brett said.
"Hey its getting late, do we wana go to someone's house? Chill there?" Mike asks.
"Sure." Everyone says besides Brett.
"I cant guys, I gotta go home, but maybe another time?" Brett says
"Yea no problem. Let's go guys, we can fit in my car." Dante says.
"Later B." They all say.
"Bye." Brett says.
