In Mr. Albert's classroom, while Mr. Albert sits behind his desk, the students are watching Paulie Silver, an archeologist, giving a lecture.
"The red ruby of Nabas, the Corona Aurora, even the legendary Claw Stones, they all have one thing in common," Paulie says. "They can be found anywhere. At the bottom of the deepest oceans. At the top of the tallest mountains. They can even be found in your own backyard."
Paulie snickers slightly, before picking up a briefcase, puts it on Mr. Albert's desk, surprising the teacher, and opens it, pulling out a pamphlet.
"For example, I believed this pamphlet leads to somewhere in your not-so-quiet home of Rimestone City," Paulie says, as he turns to face the class, holding up the pamphlet so they can see it. "I also believed this could lead to the largest archeologist found of this generation."
The pamphlet is covered in unusual text, as Mackey starts to sit straight, "Is that…?"
Jackie turns in her seat to look at him, "Something's wrong, Mackey?"
"That pamphlet…" Mackey starts. "I think it's written in Zaurus text."
"Lost Treasure of the Zaurus"
The five unmorphed Rangers are at the end of a hallway, grouped together.
"Are you sure it was Zaurus text?" Henry asks Mackey.
"I'm sure… pretty sure…" Mackey answers. "I mean, I've seen several examples of the language in Mr. Dragdan's family manuscripts, so I'm… pretty sure."
"That's good enough for me," Jackie smiles.
"Me too," Kent starts. "And Mr. Dragdan can confirm it."
They look down the hall to see Mr. Dragdan approaches Paulie as he exits the classroom.
"Mr. Silver, hello, there, I'm Arthur Dragdan, the school's principal, and I heard you gave a fascinating lecture."
"Thanks a lot, Mr. Dragdan, and I got to say, your students seem very bright," Paulie says.
"Rimestone High's students are the best," Mr. Dragdan starts. "Now, I'm actually very interested in archeology, and I would wondering if I could take a look at that pamphlet you shown Mr. Albert's class?"
"No can do," Paulie holds up the briefcase and pats it on the side. "I won't risk someone else uncovering what this pamphlet will lead to, before me. I hope you understand."
"Of course," Mr. Dragdan says, before he starts to walk back to the unmorphed Rangers, as Mr. Albert exits the classroom and starts talking with Paulie.
Mr. Dragdan approaches the unmorphed Rangers, "He won't share it. And if it does possess Zaurus text, we need to know what it said."
"So, now what?" Buffy asks.
Kent crosses his arms, looks down for a second, before looking back up, "What if we distract him?"
Paulie is turning a corner in the hallway, when Jackie and Henry approach him.
"Oh, Mr. Silver, we were hoping to see you again," Jackie says.
"Again? Oh, yeah, you were students in Mr. Albert's class," Paulie says.
"Yeah, and your stories were so vivid," Jackie says.
"My favorite was that deep forest hunt in the Amazon," Henry adds.
"That particular one was a favorite of mine," Paulie says. "I still have some of the mosquito bites."
At that moment, Buffy, as she passes, bumps into Paulie's arm and causes him to drop his briefcase.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Buffy says, stopping next to him.
"That's okay," Paulie says, before he starts to reach for the briefcase.
Henry gently grabs Paulie's arm and pulls his attention to him, "Mr. Silver, what do you think was your most difficult archaeologist hunt?"
"That's an interesting question, let's see," Paulie crosses his arms, unaware of Buffy kneeling down and slides the briefcase down the hall, with Kent catching it, and slides another briefcase over to Buffy. "It might be my search for the Shield of Neptune, no relation to the Sword of Neptune or Trident of Neptune."
As Paulie gives a slight laugh, Buffy sees the initials "A.D." on the side of the second briefcase, gives a panic expression, before quickly flips it to its other side.
Kent, standing next to a corner, hands the briefcase to Mackey, before turns to watch around the corner.
Mackey turns and opens the briefcase, as Mr. Dragdan looks down at the pamphlet.
Paulie starts to pick the second briefcase up, as Buffy looks and sees Kent standing around the corner and holds up the correct briefcase.
Buffy looks back to Paulie and bumps into him as she takes a look at his vest, causing him to drop the briefcase, "Hey, this tear, was it caused by some sort of lion on one of your hunts?"
"This, hum, no, it must have got caught on a nail or something," Paulie explains, unaware that Jackie walks over, quickly slides the briefcase down the hall, followed by Kent slides the first briefcase back down, with Jackie catches it and sets it in place.
"Now, if you excuse me," Paulie says, before Jackie stands back up. Paulie picks up the briefcase, "I really need to go."
Jackie, Buffy, and Henry watch as Paulie walks away, before Buffy leans her back against the wall, Henry breathes a sigh of relief and Jackie doubles over, seemingly tired.
In the Round Base, Mr. Dragdan is writing on a piece of paper, with an opened book next to him, as the five unmorphed Rangers watch.
"So, it really is Zaurus text?" Mackey asks.
"It really is," Mr. Dragdan answers, without stopping writing.
Jackie places a hand on Mackey's shoulder, with them sharing a smile.
"So, what does it say?" Henry asks.
"Hum, well…" Mr. Dragdan points down his pen.
"Couldn't you translate it all?" Kent asks.
"I translated it, but it doesn't make much sense," Mr. Dragdan says, as he picks up the paper. "Listen to this, 'In case the Dino Knights fall, this treasure will protect all, first the flame mountain must be found, where the first village made ground, Light and Dark might be lost, but they can find the way to the Frost, finally brothers must cope, then all will restore hope.'"
"Who knew the Zaurus were a race of poets," Buffy jokes.
"Odd," Mackey crosses his arms. "What could 'Frost' mean, do we have to wait until winter to find out…?"
"None of it makes any sense," Henry adds.
"And there's 'the first village'... what could that be…?" Mackey wonders.
"First village, first village…" Mr. Dragdan says. "Wait, could it be the first Zaurus village?"
Mr. Dragdan hurries over to the rows of books against the wall, as the unmorphed Rangers watch, with him searching through the books, before pulling one out, places it on the table, opens it up to the center of the book and pulls out a large foldable map.
"What's this?" Mackey asks.
"It's a map of Rimestone City, back during the time of the Zaurus, before it was Rimestone City," Mr. Dragdan explains, before pointing to a dot near the corner of the map. "And this was the first Zaurus village, when they first settled in this area."
"So, now what?" Henry asks.
"We'll need a current map of the city," Mackey explains.
Shortly, Mr. Dragdan opens up a modern foldable map, "I'm glad Mr. Calvin was on vacation, I don't know how I would've explained why I need to borrow his geography class' city map."
Mr. Dragdan lays the modern map over the old map, with Mackey placing a finger near the corner of the map, "Okay, this is the spot where the first village was million of years ago."
"That's a plaze now, if anything was hidden there it would've been paved over by now," Buffy says.
"Maybe not, there's a tree here," Kent says.
"That's right, it's supposed to be millions of years old," Jackie adds.
"Yeah, and the members of my family that founded Rimestone City gave specific instructions that the tree and the ground around it was to remain untouched, no matter what," Mr. Dragdan says.
"That has to be it," Mackey realizes. "If the Zaurus hidden something, it has to be there."
"Let's go," Kent says, before his friends nod their heads.
Mr. Dragdan watches as the five unmorphed Rangers rush out.
The five unmorphed Rangers arrive at the plaza to see several people walking around.
Jackie looks around, before seeing a large tree a couple feet away from the pavement, "There's the tree."
"So if we're right, then whatever the Zaurus left behind, might be buried under that tree," Mackey says.
"Except that I don't think we will be able to dig up around a tree without being seen and answering some uncomfortable questions," Buffy adds.
"Perhaps it would be a good idea to come back after dark," Kent suggests.
A series of explosions go off in front of the unmorphed Rangers, drawing the other people's attention. They all look over to see Wizar, Shroomie, who is holding a shovel, and several Knightrons.
"I think now would be a good time," Wizar says, as the rest of the people in the plaza run away.
"Wizar, what're you doing here?" Kent asks.
"I managed to put off the oldest trick in the bag," Wizar says, before he spins around, as his body glows blue and he turns into Paulie Silver.
"You're Mr. Silver?" Mackey asks.
"Ah, yeah, I've impressed myself with all of those stories I made up," Paulie says.
"But why?" Jackie asks.
"It simple," Paulie glows blue as he turns back into Wizar. "I found that pamphlet, but was unable to decipher the text, and since I have no interest in sharing the prize with Menasaur or the rewards after using it to aid in reviving our Queen, I must find a more creative method."
Wizar then swings his wand to the side, "Now that the exposition is out of the way, I believed the proper expression to be: get them!"
The Knightrons charge, with the unmorphed Rangers catching or dodging the spears.
Wizar looks to Shroomie, "Now, I believed you got some digging to do."
"Oh, right, yeah, sure," Shroomie says, before he turns and walks over to the tree with the shovel. "I'll do the digging, all on my own."
Kent struggles with a Knightron's spear, before using it to flip the Knightron onto its back. He then roundhouse kicks another Knightron, before flipping to the side to dodge a Knightron's spear. He then rolls back and kicks the Knightron in the side, before back kicking another Knightron.
Jackie backflips a couple times, dodging two Knightrons as they stab their spears at the ground repeatedly. Jackie stops flipping and when the Knightrons stab the ground with their spears again, she steps on the spearheads. Jackie then flips over their heads and kicks both Knightrons in the back before she lands. She rolls to the side, dodging a Knightron's swinging spear, then spin kicks it.
Buffy runs up a chair, as a Knightron chases her, with the chair falling down. The Knightron trips over the chair, before another Knightron swings its spear at her, with Buffy rolls over the nearby table to dodge it. She then grabs a third Knightron's swinging spear, arm swipe it, trips the Knightron and tosses it onto the table. Buffy then jumps off the table and spin kicks the second Knightron.
Shroomie stabs the shovel into the ground in front of the tree and shovels some dirt out and onto a nearby pile of dirt, before looking down into the hole he made, "Oh, here's something."
"You found it?" Wizar asks, walking over.
"I found… a box?" Shroomie pulls out a small wooden box and then gets off his knees. "That's odd, I sensed a lot of negative energy from it."
"Could have came from the Zaurus that buried it and their feelings toward the Negadons," Wizar guesses. "Which, ironically, gives me an idea."
Henry catches two Knightrons' spears, crosses them, then holds them back and kicks each of the Knightrons, before throwing them to the side. Another Knightron swings its spear, with Henry rolls away to dodge it, then flips forward and spin kicks the Knightron. He then spins back around and trips another Knightron.
Mackey flips over a swinging Knightron's spear, then, on one knee, kicks another Knightron. He spins back onto his feet, kicks the first Knightron in the side. Then a Knightron on either side of him swings their spears, with Mackey falling onto his back, avoiding the attacks, while the Knightrons strike each other. Mackey flips back onto his feet and roundhouse kicks the two Knightrons.
The five unmorphed Rangers hurry over to Wizar and Shroomie.
"Alright, Wizar, we're taking whatever the Zaurus left," Kent says.
"On the contrary," Wizar says, before he looks to the side. "Shroomie."
Shroomie holds up the box in one hand, while pointing at it with the other, "Monster Make Slime, go!"
From his finger, Shroomie shoots a glob of slime at the box, which glows, before a slob of slime falls down and grows into a large red and gold box.
"Well, that was different," Buffy says.
"Say hello to the Revival Chest," Wizar says.
Suddenly, the Revival Chest opens, as two glowing orbs shoot out and land in front of Wizar and the chest, turning into Aquapulse and Werefang.
"Aquapulse and Werefang? We destroyed them," Jackie says.
"And now, thanks to the Revival Chest, they can't ever be destroy again," Wizar claims.
"Guess again, Wizar, anything you bring back, we can send away," Kent says. "It's Morphin' Time!"
They hold up their Dino Totems, flip them to Knight Mode and insert them into their Knight Morphers.
"Triceratops Totem!"
They flip the visor on their Morphers, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Kent morphs into Red Knight Ranger, Mackey morphs into Blue Knight Ranger, Jackie morphs into Pink Knight Ranger, Buffy morphs into Green Knight Ranger, and Henry morphs into Black Knight Ranger.
"This will end just like the last times," Red Knight Ranger says, as he and the other Knight Rangers hold up their Dino Blades.
"We will see," Wizar says.
Aquapulse shoots a couple water blasts and walks to the side, with Red and Pink Knight Rangers flip to the side, dodging water blasts. Red Knight Ranger spins around and back kicks Aquapulse, followed by him and Pink Knight Ranger each grab an arm, holding them back, before Black Knight Ranger jump kicks Aquapulse.
Blue Knight Ranger uses his Dino Blade to block Werefang's arm swipe, before Green Knight Ranger spins to dodge another arm swipe and then strikes him. Blue Knight Ranger holds down Werefang's arm and then backs up, followed by kicking him.
An armor guard appears on Pink Knight Ranger as she raises her Dino Blade, "Dilopho Strength Guard!"
She delivers a powerful slash on Aquapulse, who falls backward and is consumed in an explosion.
An armor guard appears on Blue Knight Ranger, "Lambeo Stretch Guard!"
Blue Knight Ranger's Dino Blade stretches as he whip strikes Werefang a couple times, before Werefang falls backward and is consumed in an explosion.
"That was easy enough," Pink Knight Ranger says, as she and the other Knight Rangers turn to Wizar and Shroomie.
"But when has anything worthwhile be easy," Wizar says, as he holds the small box.
Shroomie holds up the Revival Chest, before two orbs fly out and turn into Aquapulse and Shroomie.
"Really, a monster encore?" Green Knight Ranger jokes.
"We'll be taking our leave," Wizar says, as he and Shroomie start to walk away.
"Stop right there!" Red Knight Range says, but he and his friends are stopped from pursuing by Aquapulse shooting water blasts in front of them.
"Henry, Buffy, go after them, we'll handle the dynamic duo," Red Knight Ranger instructs.
"On it," Black Knight Ranger says, as he and Green Knight Ranger run off.
Aquapulse aims a blaster arm, before Blue Knight Ranger whip strikes him with his Dino Blade.
Pink Knight Ranger grabs Werefang's arm and pulls him, before kicking him, as Red Knight Ranger jump kicks Aquapulse in the back.
Unaware to them, someone is watching as they place a hand on a nearby building, before purple armor appears on the person, as Menasaur watches the battle.
Wizar and Shroomie are walking through a wooded area, with Shroomie struggling to carry the Revival Chest.
"You know, I can use some help," Shroomie says.
"Quiet, I'm thinking," Wizar looks at the box in his hand.
Black and Green Knight Ranger run toward them.
"Wizar, hold it!" Black Knight Ranger calls out.
Suddenly Menasaur stands out in front of them, "You are not getting what the Zaurus left behind."
"Well, isn't this a surprise," Green Knight Ranger says, as she and Black Knight Ranger stop running. "You supervillain types are capable of helping each other."
"Don't be ridiculous," Menasaur starts. "I'm helping no one but myself. Whatever in that box is rightfully mine. And I won't let anyone get in my way."
Menasaur charges, with Green Knight Ranger tries to block his sword strike, but is knocked backward, as Black Knight Ranger tries a Dino Blade strike. Menasaur uses his shield to block it, then pushes him back and strikes Black Knight Ranger, sending him backward, followed by Menasaur spin kicks Green Knight Ranger.
Black Knight Ranger starts to return to his feet, then charges.
Red, Pink, and Blue Knight Rangers turn away, without Armor Guards, as Aquapulse is consumed in an explosion.
Red and Pink Knight Rangers block Werefang's arm swipes, before Blue Knight Ranger kicks him, followed by the three Knight Rangers striking him, with Werefang consumed in an explosion.
"Okay, let's join the chase party," Pink Knight Ranger says, as they turn around.
"I don't think we're done with the monster mash," Red Knight Ranger points ahead, as two orbs fly down and turn into Aquapulse and Werefang.
Red Knight Ranger runs ahead, as Blue Knight Ranger looks down.
"I don't think I can handle this," Blue Knight Ranger says.
"Mackey, everything's gonna be okay, we'll figure this out," Pink Knight Ranger says.
"I don't know, they just keep on coming back…" Blue Knight Ranger says, as Red Knight Ranger jump kicks Werefang, then Dino Blade strikes Aquapulse.
"Mackey, we won't be here if it wasn't for you," Pink Knight Ranger says.
"Thanks for the reminder."
"No, I meant, you're the only one who recognizes the pamphlet as having Zaurus text, you realized the first village was here…" Pink Knight Ranger tells him.
"And it was a trap," Blue Knight Ranger adds.
"Perhaps, but I'm certain, if anyone can figure out how to stop the revived monsters, it would be you," Pink Knight Ranger says.
Blue Knight Ranger looks to the side.
Menasaur stabs his sword into the ground, sending explosions across the ground, which ends up knocking Black and Green Knight Rangers off their feet.
Black and Green Knight Ranger start to return to their feet, when they notice green energy flying through the air.
"It looks like your friends are busy," Menasaur says.
Black and Green Knight Ranger manage to return to their feet.
Green energy flies onto Werefang and Aquapulse, before they glow and grow giant.
"Great, like this wasn't difficult enough to begin with," Red Knight Ranger says.
Pink Knight Ranger looks over to Blue Knight Ranger who's looking down and has a hand to his chin, "Mackey, something on your mind?"
"I was thinking, neither Aquapulse and Werefang were shy, but they're not talking, so I think they came back with limited intelligence, and also appeared weaker," Blue Knight Ranger says. "And…"
"And what?" Red Knight Ranger asks.
"When we destroy one, he doesn't come back until we destroy the other," Blue Knight Ranger starts. "So, maybe if... this is just theoretical, but if we destroy them simultaneously, we can destroy them permanently."
"It's worth a try," Red Knight Ranger says, as he looks up and presses the button on his Morpher. "Summon Tyranno Zord."
Pink Knight Ranger holds up her Morpher, "Summon Ankylo Zord."
Blue Knight Ranger holds up his Morpher, "Summon Tricera Zord."
Werefang and Aquapulse look around them.
"Alright, attack them!" Red Knight Ranger instructs.
Tyranno Zord starts firing laser blasts off its back, as Aquapulse fires water blasts and Tricera Zord jumps up.
Tricera Zord spins head over tail, striking twice with its blade-like horn. Ankylo Zord jumps up, turns and strikes with its hammer tail. Both attacks hit Werefang.
Tyranno Zord continues to fire laser blasts, blasting Aquapulse.
"I hope this works," Blue Knight Ranger says.
"It will," Pink Knight Ranger pumps a fist.
Blue Knight Ranger brings the bottom of his Dino Blade to his wrist, "Zords combine!"
Tricera Zord's head connects to Dino Knight Megazord's chest. The blue Dino Totem flies up, turns around and connects to the Megazord, forming its head.
"Ready," Blue Knight Ranger says.
"Ready," Red Knight Ranger says.
"Ready," Pink Knight Ranger says.
Dino Knight Megazord, with the back half of Tricera Zord and a drill connected to its left arm, a blaster connected to its left shoulder, the back half of Anklyo Zord connected to its right shoulder, and the front half of Ankylo Zord connected to its right arm, stands while raising the Tricera Blade on its left arm.
"Dino Knight Megazord Tricera Armored, ready!"
Blue Knight Rangers draws his Dino Blade, "Here's go nothing."
Dino Knight Megazord holds up the Tricera Blade and holds it out horizontal. Aquapulse and Werefang start charging.
Dino Knight Megazord strikes Aquapulse, then strikes Werefang, before striking Aquapulse again as it spins and then holds up the Tricera Blade.
Blue Knight Ranger holds up his Dino Blade, and then delivers a horizontal strike.
Dino Knight Megazord delivers a horizontal strike, hitting both Werefang and Aquapulse, before it spins between the two and rolls onto its knee.
All three Knight Rangers hold back their Dino Blades, horizontally.
"Here's our chance!" Blue Knight Ranger yells.
"Take the lead, Mackey," Red Knight Ranger responds.
All three Knight Rangers stab forward.
Dino Knight Megazord holds up the Tricera Blade, as it glows and surges with energy, before it stabs forward, with the glowing Tricera Blade and Tricera Zord's glowing horns extending.
"Double Piercing Strike!"
The extending Tricera Blade hits Werefang, as the extending horns hit Aquapulse, with both surging with electricity. Both Tricera Blade and horns retract, before Dino Knight Megazord turns around, as Werefang and Aquapulse fall down and are consumed in large explosions. Dino Knight Megazord holds up the Tricera Blade.
Black and Green Knight Rangers flip through the air, "Dino Force Cycles, energized!"
Black and Green Knight Rangers ride through the woods on their Dino Force Cycles.
"Some new toys won't beat me, Rangers," Menasaur says.
"Too bad, because playtime's over," Green Knight Ranger says.
"Dino Force Cycles," Black and Green Knight Rangers hold out an arm, before grabbing the handlebars. "Force Beam Blast!"
The two Dino Force Cycles' cannons fire a large energy beam, which hits Menasaur's shield, forcing him back several feet, before explosions go and Menasaur falls to a knee.
"Beep beep," Black Knight Ranger says, as he and Green Knight Rangers drive past Menasaur.
Menasaur looks up, "I'm not done, Rangers…"
Wizar and Shroomie continue to walk through the woods, as Wizar pulls out a rolled up piece of paper from the box, "Ah, I got it open!"
Shroomie stops as he continues to struggle to hold the Revival Chest as it seems to shake slightly, "Oh, I think it's reviving another monster."
"I'm shutting the door on anymore revivals for today," Black Knight Ranger rides toward them, as he fires blasts from his Dino Force Cycle's eyes, causing Shroomie to throw the Revival Chest into the air and Wizar throw the rolled up paper.
A blast from the Dino Force Cycle hits the Revival Chest, which dissolves into energy.
The rolled up paper flies through the air, when Green Knight Ranger flips through the air and grabs the paper, before landing several feet away from Wizar and Shroomie.
"Look what I got," Green Knight Ranger holds up the rolled up paper. "Of course, you could try and get it back."
At that moment, Red, Pink, and Blue Knight Rangers walk up several feet away.
"But I won't suggest it," Red Knight Ranger says.
"Fine, allow yourself a victory, for now," Wizar says, before he starts to turn and runs away. "Let's go, Shroomie."
"Right, yeah, what he said," Shrooie quickly turns to follow Wizar.
Back at the Round Base, the unmorphed Rangers and Mr. Dragdan stand around the table, as Mr. Dragdan unrolls the paper which shows a drawing of a large volcano, and a circle to the side of the volcano's interior.
"Is that a volcano?" Jackie asks.
"Of course, the flame mountain," Mackey realizes, before pointing to the circle. "And it appeared to have a chamber hidden inside it."
Mr. Dragdan notices the Zaurus text at the bottom, "The Dimetro Volcano?"
"The what?" Kent asks.
"The Dimetro Volcano, it's a volcano outside the city, which had been dormant for about 65 millions years," Mr. Dragdan explains. "According to my family's manuscripts, it was so named because it was the resting spot for… the Dimetro Zord…"
"Wait, are you saying, this could lead to another Zord?" Buffy asks.
"That's exactly what I'm saying," Mr. Dragdan answers.
"Another Zord…" Kent looks down at the paper, showing the volcano.
