Chapter 8
Rocky
Why do bad things happen, now that was a question?
Why indeed.
Rocky was feeling something he had never felt before.
Sadness.
And anger.
Marshall had always been the clumsy one and the one to give jokes.
But this ways something else.
A joke that was very hurtful in his opinion.
What is that smell, Smoke!
He ran down the street and saw where the smell was coming from.
Mr. Porter's shop.
The store was on fire.
"Call the Paw Patrol, " Mr. Porter shouted.
" We broke up, " said Rocky.
Rocky could not bear to see the disappointment and shock on Mr. Porter's face.
"I don't think we can save your building Mr. Porter, " Rocky looking at the shell of the shop. The fire was spreading out of control to other buildings.
"I need to do something, " Rocky thought. "but how?The water tower!"
He dodged burning pieces of debris and ran towards the tower. A welder lay near the tower. He grabbed it with his teeth and push a button.
Flames spurted from the welder and the pole began to bend and the tower began to lean down it was not enough. Then a small bird land on top of the tower.
That did it the water tower fell with a thunderous crash, and water gushed out of the tower putting all the fires out.
He saw a small hole beside it the words
Safe House
He climbed down the hole. It was very dark.
He felt hands close around him and a cloth was put against his mouth he breathed in and felt himself getting dizzy then darkness envelop him.
There are many good people in the world, but for every good won there is two more bad ones.
