So sorry for the delay on this update; how long has it been? Months? I'm sorry folks, there have just been no ideas floating around my pea brain

Thank you for all the reviews.

Just to answer some questions from reviews from LITERALLY months ago (sorry again):

- Brittany is 10, Quinn is 8, and Santana is 3 (she sometimes regresses to around 1 - 1 and 1/2)

- No other Glee characters will join

Please note the tense change for this chapter. It will change from present tense to past tense. This will have no impact on the story and what's happening, it will only impact the writing style. I'm more comfortable writing in past tense and it will be easier for me.

I don't own Glee (or The Lion King or anything Disney mentioned in this chapter)

Santana huffed as she woke up with a wet pull up. Having accidents was for babies, she was a big girl! Deciding that she was in fact a big girl and could solve this issue by herself, Santana rolled out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, oblivious to how dark it was outside, meaning it was very early. Her Mama sometimes gave her a bath when she had a wet pull up, so Santana rummaged around for supplies for the bath. Once she found the strawberry bubble bath, the plug, and her favourite toy frog, the three year old turned the taps on. As the water flowed, Santana poured a generous amount of bubble bath in before grinning at the delicious strawberry scent filling the room. She leant over the edge of the tub swishing her hands through the rapidly expanding mountain of bubbles, giggling at how they tickled her arms.

Quickly growing bored of waiting for the tub to fill up, the little Latina undressed - throwing her wet pull up into the corner of the bathroom - and plonked down on the tiles beginning to play a game with her toy frog. She soon lost herself in her game completely forgetting about what she was doing before. It wasn't until her feet started to get wet that Santana remembered she was running a bath and it was now overflowing! She rushed to turn the taps off and grinned thinking she had avoided disaster, not realising that some water had escaped the bathroom and was wetting the carpet in the hallway.

Bouncing on her toes in excitement at the sheer number of bubbles covering the top of the bath, Santana stepped into the bath and submerged herself in the lukewarm water. She couldn't figure out how to turn the taps to make the water warmer, okay! Remembering that her Mama always says that getting clean comes before playing with toys, Santana grabbed a washcloth and began running it along her skin. She hummed little songs to herself as she was getting clean and playing with her frog, which she forgot on the floor and had to get out and retrieve, leaving a trail of water on the tiles.

Once her skin had turned wrinkly, Santana stepped out of the bath and wrapped her towel around herself. She dried her body to the best of her ability and then dropped her towel to look for the lotion that her Mama applied to her after her bath every night. The three year old couldn't remember how much to use so she poured large amounts of the creamy white lotion onto her caramel legs, accidentally spilling some on the floor in the process. She rubbed the lotion into her legs, arms, tummy, and chest until she felt all greasy.

Realising she needed her Mama to help her get dressed, Santana wandered down the hallway towards Shelby's bedroom and pushed the door open. She couldn't believe her Mama was still asleep, it was morning! "Mama," Santana whispered, softly shaking her shoulder.

Shelby stirred a bit before waking up and seeing Santana leaning over her. "What's wrong, baby girl?" she asked in mild concern. It wasn't rare that Santana woke her up in the middle of the night, but something could still be wrong.

"Mama I needs help gettin' dressed," Santana stated like she wasn't waking Shelby up at four o'clock in the morning.

Shelby sat up, rubbing her eyes to wake herself up before taking in Santana's appearance. Her youngest was completely naked and her dark hair was wet against her skin. "Santana, why are you naked?" Shelby was so confused as to what was going on.

"I hadda bath cuz I had an assident in my pull up," Santana said like she was stating the obvious. "And now I needs help wif my clothes."

Shelby sighed and rubbed her temples, "Santana, it is very early in the morning. If you had a wet pull up, why didn't you come and wake me up?"

"Cuz I a big girl," Santana mumbled, sensing that maybe running a bath for herself wasn't the right thing to do.

"Honey, I know you're a big girl, but you still have to come and see me if you wake up with a wet pull up. Come on, let's go get you dressed." Shelby held her hand out and led the naked girl into the bathroom to get a new pull up. The dark haired woman gasped when she saw the state of the bathroom; there was water all over the floor, big blobs of what looked like moisturiser on the floor, Santana's towel sitting in a puddle of water, and the bath still completely full.

"See Mama, I gots clean all by myself," Santana grinned up at her Mama and Shelby found it hard to be mad when that adorable face was smiling up at her.

Shelby sighed and decided to ignore the mess for now, instead reaching under the sink to get a pull up. She ushered Santana back to her room and helped her get dressed into some pyjamas before braiding the Latina's wet hair.

Santana allowed her Mama to dress her and do her hair, though she was confused as to why Shelby was putting her in pyjamas when it was clearly morning time. Deciding to voice this, Santana said, "Mama? Why you puttin' 'jamas on me? Is mornin' time."

"Santana, it's extremely early in the morning, the sun isn't even awake yet," Shelby responded, her fingers moving like lightning in Santana's dark, wet hair.

"Da sun's not 'wake yet?!" the girl gasped; her wide eyes turned to look at Shelby.

"Yep, and that's why we have to go back to sleep. It's technically still night-time, angel." Shelby cupped Santana's face with her palm and ran her thumb along the apple of her tan cheek. "Come on," Shelby held her hand out. "Let's go sleep in Mama's bed."

Santana settled into the bed, pressing herself against her Mama's chest and nuzzling her nose into the woman's neck. Shelby rubbed her back in an attempt to make her daughter fall asleep. "Santana, in the morning when you wake up, you'll be helping Mama clean up the mess in the bathroom because it wasn't a very good thing for you to try and have a bath all by yourself. I know you're a big girl, but you also need help, and that's okay; next time you need to come and tell Mama if you wake up wet, okay?"

"Okay, Mama. I sorry for makin' a mess," Santana said innocently.

"I know you're sorry, baby girl, you still have to clean up in the morning though." Shelby kissed the top of Santana's dark hair, holding her close to her chest. "Sweet dreams, pumpkin."

Since Kelly had gone home a couple of days ago, the girls had been a bit down in the dumps. Shelby was now set in her work routine but since their Nana had left, the girls hadn't had anyone to entertain them while their Mama worked. They had found themselves slouching around the living room playing with random toys and just waiting for Shelby to be done with her work. However, Brittany was bored of waiting around, and as the oldest she felt it was her responsibility to entertain her younger sisters, so she had a plan. She walked into the living room holding a little CD player with a massive grin on her face.

"Wha's dat, Britty?" Santana asked curiously from her place on the floor with a pile of stuffed animals.

"It's a CD player, Sanna, we're gonna have a dance party!" The blonde placed the CD player down and loaded a CD with a large amount of different Disney songs on it.

As soon as the first few notes of 'Hakuna Matata' floated through the room, Quinn's head popped up from where she had it resting against the arm of the couch. She loved this song!

"Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase," Brittany acted along with the audio, making Santana giggle as she got up off the floor.

"Hakuna Matata! Ain't no passing craze," Quinn put on a gruff voice to mimic Pumbaa as she joined in singing.

"It means no worries for the rest of your daysss," the blondes sang loudly, starting to jump around the room.

"Is our problem-fee philsophophee!" Santana threw her arms in the air as she grinned widely at knowing the words.

Brittany and Quinn laughed at their sister's pronunciation but started dancing and singing around the living room with her anyway. The girls sang at the top of their lungs and jumped around to the beat until the song ended and they erupted in a fit of giggles.

When 'Colors of the Wind' from Pocahontas began, both Brittany and Santana frowned at not knowing what song it was, but Quinn's eyes lit up and she stepped out into the middle of the room like she had just stepped out onto a stage.

Singing seriously, Quinn twirled around the room, making all sorts of dramatic faces and hand gestures. She was putting on quite the performance for her sisters and they were both fully engaged in the dramatic rendition. When the song ended and Quinn was on her knees looking up at the ceiling wistfully, Santana started clapping wildly with Brittany joining not a half second later.

"Thank you, thank you." Quinn stood up and began to bow to every corner of the room, as if pretending she had a full audience.

Shelby exited her office a short time later to see her daughters dancing around in circles and singing loudly to 'Under the Sea'. She smiled and pulled her phone out to take a video; she loved seeing her girls happy. "Full time to floatin', under the sea!" she sang loudly, causing all her girls to stop and look at her with wide smiles.

"Mama!" Santana squealed, grabbing her hand, and dragging her to the rug in the middle of the room as Brittany and Quinn resumed dancing and singing.

They all spent the rest of the afternoon dancing crazily around the room and singing to each other, laughing the entire time. When the four of them plonked down onto the couch after two hours of dancing, they all closed their eyes and had a little rest.

A couple days later, Shelby called all her girls into the kitchen to start making their pizzas for dinner. The family had spent the whole day clothes shopping at a mall the next town over and then grocery shopping for the ingredients for their homemade pizzas for dinner.

Brittany, Quinn, and Santana came crashing into the kitchen, clearly excited about their dinner. Shelby had just finished rolling out the dough for her own pizza base. She looked up at her girls and smiled, motioning them to come closer. "Okay ladies, first you have to spread the pizza sauce out onto your dough, then you put on whatever toppings you want, then add the cheese," Shelby explained. "I'll help whoever needs it, okay?" The girls all nodded and then went to stand in front of a pizza base to start.

Everything had been going smoothly; Brittany had decided to make a ham and pineapple pizza with the pineapple placed in the shape of a smiley face on top of the cheese. Quinn had used pepperoni on hers and Santana made a ham and cheese one because apparently 'pineapples are icky'. Shelby was pleasantly surprised that her girls were behaving so well and sharing all the ingredients with each other; she had expected some type of squabble, simply because she knew they were tired from the busy day. The dark haired woman's expectations were realised when Quinn and Santana began to fight over who got to use the cheese first.

"Santana, let go! I grabbed it first!" Quinn exclaimed, pulling the bag of shredded cheese towards herself.

"No! Is me firs'" Santana yelled at her sister.

The squabble went back and forth with name-calling and yelling while Brittany stood by and watched.

"Hey!" Shelby raised her voice to get the attention of the squabbling sisters. Both girls turned to look at her without letting go of the bag of cheese. "Why are you fighting about this? Both of you will get to use the cheese. No one will miss out and everyone will have cheese on their pizza." Shelby took the bag of cheese from each girl and started applying it to both the pizzas. "If you can't be trusted to share, then Mama will make your pizza for you."

"Nooooo Mama, I wanna do it," Santana whined, stomping over to the kitchen bench where Shelby was and trying to take the cheese bag out of her hands.

"No Santana, Mama will do it now because you had a silly fight with your sister." Shelby remained stern as she put the three pizzas into the oven.

"Mama! No!" Santana yelled before throwing herself onto the floor, crying while banging her fists and kicking her feet into the tiles.

Shelby ignored the toddler's tantrum to send Brittany into the living room to watch TV and talk to Quinn. "Quinn, I would like you to go to the corner over there and stand there for eight minutes, please." Shelby pointed to the corner of the dining room. Quinn pouted and dragged her feet over to the corner for her time out. Shelby smiled as she watched the blonde go without a fuss before turning to Santana who was still having a tantrum on the floor. "Santana, when you are finished with your tantrum come and talk to me. I will be making my pizza at the bench." With that, Shelby began making her pizza, keeping a close eye on Quinn in the corner and Santana on the floor. The woman knew that both her girls were tired but that excuse the fact that their behaviour was unacceptable.

Once Shelby had put her pizza in the oven and sat down at the table, Quinn's time out was down, and Santana was beginning to calm down. "Do you think that was an appropriate way to behave, Quinn?" She asked the young blonde standing in front of her.

"No, Mama," Quinn said sadly.

"What should you have done instead of engaging in a fight?"

"Um...maybe asked Santana nicely to let me use the cheese first?" Quinn looked hopefully up at her Mama, praying that was the right answer.

"Maybe. But maybe you could have just placed the bag on the bench and taken turns with it. Do you think that would have been a better solution?" Shelby asked pointedly.

"Yes, Mama."

"Good girl, now go into the living room with Britt and sit quietly." Shelby gave the blonde a gentle pat on the bottom and sent her on her way. Santana was still laying face down on the floor, hands clenched, and her back was shaking which indicated that she was still crying, so Shelby decided to leave her until she was ready to talk. She would get nowhere with Santana if she wasn't calm, she had learned that over time. She checked the girls' pizzas and saw that they were ready, so she took them out of the oven and cut them into eight slices each. "Brittany! Quinn! Dinner is ready!" she called. "Santana, yours is ready too, come up off the floor when you are ready to talk and eat your dinner," Shelby told the toddler calmly.

Santana eventually picked herself up off the floor when she couldn't bear the thought of her pizza going cold. She wiped her eyes and nose with her fists and walked over to where her Mama was sitting at the table waiting for her own pizza to be finished cooking. "Mama, can I eats my pizza now?" the Latina asked quietly.

"We have to talk about your behaviour first," Shelby said sternly. Santana's face fell and Shelby struggled to contain a laugh, did Santana really think she would just forget everything and let her eat dinner? "What did you do that was naughty, Sanna?"

"I fighted wif Quinnie, and...and had a fit on da floor," the toddler responded softly.

"Yes, you did. You have to share with your sisters nicely and you can't throw a tantrum every time you don't get your way, okay?"

"Yes, Mama. I sorry."

"Thank you for apologising. Next time you need to take a deep breath before acting. Now go say sorry to Quinnie and then you can eat your dinner, but after dinner you will be having a time out."

Santana pouted but nodded her head and apologised to Quinn. "I'm sorry too, Sanna," Quinn said to her little sister.

They all ate dinner quietly and Shelby sighed, it was never boring with her girls around.
