As soon as the group entered the pokemon center, Brock's eyes fell on nurse joy as she was looking into hearts started to form in Brock's eyes as he rushed to her and said in Romeo style.
"Oh my Nurse Joy, you sure a beauty. My name is Brock and as soon as I saw you I gets intution that we are made for each other,we could be the best couple in this world, I am paralyzed by your attract, please use your paralyze heal to heal me" said Brock but Misty came and grab his
left ear and said while dragging him
"Come on Romeo, I will give you status condition that no joy could ever heal," said Misty
"Misty, leave me, why people always come between me and my chance of finding possible love interest," said Brock
"Sorry for that nurse joy," said Ash as he bowed in front of her
"I am Ash Ketchum, from Pallet town.Is there any package sent to you for me?" asked Ash
"Yes, wait for a minute, " said Joy
"Here is your package, " said Joy placing package on the desk
"It's quite heavy, " said Ash as he picks up the package and take it to the waiting area where Misty and Brock are also sitting.
"What's in the package, " asked Misty
"You take care of it, meanwhile I ask professor Oak, " said Ash
Ash dialled professor Oak's number and then he picked it up.
"Hello Ash, how are you doing." asked Oak
"I assume you already got notification about new captures of mine, " said Ash
"Yes, those were belonged to Damian.Am I right " asked Oak
"Yes, " said Ash
"Did you got your package ?" asked Oak
"Yes, I received it just now.What's inside the package? " asked Ash
"The package contains a Pokémon egg and two pokemon. Ash the two Pokémon have their own story

One is kalos water type starter ,Froakie who have a tendency to leave his trainer as he feels they are not good for him.
Another one is a female dratini which have been abandoned by his trainer." said Professor
As Ash heard, Dratini is abandoned, he somehow feels anger building up inside him.
"And finally that egg is from Jhoto region.
The egg was sent to me by Prof. Elm of Johto, the territory of tyranitars was attacked by poacher's and all the eggs were taken by them but some how Prof. Elm found one of the egg while researching the area .Froakie was sent to me by Prof. Sycamore of Kalos region, and Dratini was sent to me by Lance.
One more thing Ash ,egg will hatch pretty soon. Please take a good care of it." Professor finished the talk
"Don't worry professor, I will take care of egg, " said Ash
"Ash, I have to go now, see you later," said Oak
"Bye professor, " said Ash
"So what he said, " asked Brock
"There are two pokemon, and one egg " said Ash
"Your team is expanding at greater speed, " said Brock
"Thanks, now let's move to somewhere else, where we could introduce all of our friends to new team members, " said Ash
After thirty minutes Ash and his friends are in the clearing in the mountain range that is connected with Vermillion City
"Everyone come out, " said Ash sending his all pokemon.Misty and Brock did the same.
"Now, it's time to send our new friends out, " said Ash as he opened up package and inside there are two pokeballs.
"Come out both of you, " said Ash as he sends two pokemon out
"Froakie.." said Froakie
"Tini" said Dratini
As soon as they laid their eyes on Ash, he gave them happy smile.As Misty looked at Froakie,she can't hold her excitement back.
Ash then lowered himself at eye level of two Pokémon and said while smiling.
" Hey little guys, I am Ash Ketchum your new friend and trainer. Dratini, I know about your past, what your previous trainer did.And Froakie, I know about you too, you tends too leave your trainer which I understand.Before someone abandons you, it is better that you leave that trainer.
If you stay with a trainer that you don't find any bond with them, if you don't find any connection with them, then it is better to leave that trainer.So I would like to ask
you once again, would you want to be my Pokémon " asked Ash at which Dratini started to cry
"Hey, little girl, I know that it is difficult for you to accept me as a new trainer, but I have an idea, why don't you guys stay with me for two months and if you feel I am not a good trainer, then I will give you back to Prof. Oak so that he can give you to some worthy trainers, " said Ash
"But I have some experienced water and dragon type, " said Ash pointing to his dragon and water types.Dratini started to admire Hydreigon and Salamence
"Can I get a chance, " asked Ash
"Sure, plus don't beat me if I learn any move late." said Dratini
"No one will beat you, we are friends.We will not beat you, " said Ash taking Dratini in embrace and making her calm down.
"Guys, she is traumatised, she needs more time to open up." said Ash
"Guys why don't we make a camp here, for next two months and I think this time will be enough for them to heal mentally and emotionally, " said Ash
"That's a great idea, " said Brock
"Yes and you can train for Vermilion City gym, " said Misty
"All new members, from Bulbasaur to Pancham, I need to tell you few things, first I can understand you all, second thing is that I am a psychic and an aura user.Third I will not force anyone to evolve against their will, if you don't want to then don't or if you want to then I won't stop you either." said Ash
"Let's start with ice breaker round, in this way we can understand each other better.Let's start with Froakie, " said Ash
"Froakie tell us, what's your dream, " asked Ash
"Well, I want to be an amazing Greninja, and I am looking for a ninja hero, " said Froakie
"Ninja hero, isn't it related to the legend of a ninja hero, as per Kalos history," asked

"Actually, this states that every thousand years later, a true ninja hero will born that have a great bond with his greninja and his other pokemon too, that greninja will attain an unimaginable transformation and with that he will stop the Kalos crisis if happen again in future." said Ash
"Am I right, " asked Ash getting a nod from Froakie
"Kalos crisis, isn't it what happened three thousand years ago, when AZ the king of the Kalos created a machine to bring his best friend, a Floette back to life because of the action of his brother ,it was dead.
And for that he took life of the millions of pokemon, they forced to battle but machine gives AZ and his pokemon friend immortality and his friend floette left him. And some says that megastone are the end results of the action of the AZ as they contains the power of the dead pokemon and according to Prof. Sycamore, mega stones are the results of evolutionary stones being irradiated by the power of the legendary pokémon Xerneas or Yveltal " said Brock to which Ash nodded
"So how the ninja hero looks like," asked Ash
"Don't know but we have to find it," said Froakie
For next two months Ash trained for his upcoming battle in Vermilion City gym.Ash trained his Bulbasaur, Weepinbell and Nidoran.He focused on speed, endurance, stamina and defense side.

Misty and Brock also devoted their time to train their new team members.
Brock and Misty decided to make their pokemon resistant to their weekness i.e; Brock started to make his rock type resistant to water attacks and Misty made her pokemon resistant to electric types first.
During this period all pokemon that once belonged to Damian started to like their new trainers, the love they received healed all of their emotional wounds.On other hand Pikachu,Pidgeotto, Butterfree, Graveler and Steelix learned new moves as well.
"Are you all ready to take down Vermilion City gym, " asked Ash
"Pikachu, Zeraora , Butterfree, Pidgeotto get ready guys we are going to challenge Vermilion City gym, " said Ash
"Ash, gym battle is going to begin at ten, and we have just twenty minutes to reach there." said Brock
"Yes, Lt.Surge is very punctual, if we didn't reach there ten minutes before the gym battle we will be disqualified from taking the challenge" said Misty
"Everyone return, " said Ash recalling his pokemon and held pokemon egg in his arms.
"Let's go, " said Ash.
Ten minutes later trio arrived at the gym for Ash's third gym battle.
"Hello, I am here to battle Lt Surge for thunder badge, " said Ash
"Look, who we have here, a kid with puny Pikachu, " said Lt.Surge
"I am afraid that you will not say that after our battle, " said Ash
"You are quite a confident challenger, " said Lt.Surge as he steps down towards the battle arena and beside him is his team of electric types that consisted of a Raichu, Electrivire, Zebstrika, Jolteon, Electrode and Magnezone
"Tell me, which one you wants to battle, your baby Pikachu don't stand a chance, " said Lt.Surge
"I will battle you in six on six battle format, " said Ash
"Your wish, but don't cry when you lose," said Surge
"I believe in myself and my pokemon, " said Ash
"Surge will lost this time, " said Misty
"Yes, he became arrogant in past few years, " said Brock
"Challenger state your name and place, " said referee
"Name is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, " said Ash
"This will be a six on six full battle between Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town and gym leader Lt.Surge from Vermilion City.Challenger is allowed to switch pokemon at any point of time during battle.Once any side is out of usable pokemon, winner will be declared, " said referee
"Please send your first pokemon, " said referee
"Jolteon go and destroy that kiddo's baby pokemon, " said Surge as Jolteon jumped
into the battlefield.
"Battle time Butterfree, " said Ash sending his bug and flying type.
"Sending a pathetic bug to counter an electric type, how unwise of you" said Surge
"Butterfree vs Jolteon let the battle begin, " said referee
"Jolteon use Quick Attack!" said Lt.Surge "Butterfree use shadow ball!" said Ash
Jolteon runs at a fast speed and jumped in the air to l tackle the Butterfree. Butterfree forms a black ball in between its arms and then fires the ball at Jolteon.Being in mid air, Jolteon got hit by shadow ball.
"Jolteon use Focus Energy!" said Lt.Surge "Butterfree use venoshock!" said Ash
Jolteon's body glows white.Butterfree then fires a stream of purple, poisonous liquid at Jolteon.Jolteon dodged venoshock.
"Jolteon use Signal Beam !" said Lt.Surge
"Butterfree use sleep powder !" said Ash
A light blue ball of energy forms in front of Jolteon's head. It then fires a rainbow colored beam from the ball.Butterfree dodged and flaps it wings and a light-tan powder comes out that scattered across the battle field.
"Jolt" said Jolteon as it inhales powder and falls asleep.
"Butterfree use giga drain !" said Ash
Butterfree releases a beam of energy from its mouth at the Jolteon. When the
beam of energy hits the Jolteon, it started to drain energy from Jolteon.
"Jolteon wake up, " said Surge
"It's not going to work,Butterfree use psybeam!" said Ash
Butterfree's eyes glows purple and it releases a purple beam from them at the Jolteon that knocked out out instantly.
Referee inspected Jolteon and declared Butterfree as winner.
"Nice job Butterfree, " said Ash as Butterfree landed on Ash's head
"Return for now, " said Ash recalling him back to pokeball
"Well well well, you defeated my Jolteon." said Surge
"Let's see, how will you defeat my electrode, " asked Surge as Electrode rolled on the battlefield and faced Ash.
"Pidgeotto, battle time, " said Ash sending his bird out
"A flying type against my electric type, not a good choice, " said Surge
"It doesn't matter whether a pokemon is at disadvantaged but nevermind, you are famous for evolving your electric types to their final stage." said Ash
"Pidgeotto vs Electrode let the battle begin, " said referee
"Electrode use rollout !" said Lt.Surge "Pidgeotto use Steel wing !" said Ash
Electrode launched itself with great speed and power at Pidgeotto as he is charging at Electrode with wings glowing white.Both Electrode and Pidgeotto collide in mid air before both of them went back to their side.Pidgeotto is now paralyzed.
"Damn, how could I forget about ability of electrode, " thought Ash
"You are doing good for a first time trainer, " said Surge
"Now, let's use electromagnetism. Electrode use magnet rise! " said Surge
Electrode emits yellow sparks of electricity from its body, raising it off
the ground making pieces of the battlefield float in the air.
"Now use rollout !" said Surge as Electrode used the pieces of battlefield to strike pidgeotto.Electrode is now attacking Pidgeotto with his body.
"Pidgeotto use steel wing to defend yourself ! " said Ash
As Electrode is charging at Pidgeotto, he used steel wing but Surge commanded Electrode to use discharge that crashed Pidgeotto on field.
"Pidgeotto, " said Pidgeotto as he flew back in the air.
"Pidgeotto can you battle, " asked Ash
"Yes, I can battle, " replied Pidgeotto
"Great, now use steel drill ! " said Ash Pidgeotto flew back in the air and charged at Electrode with steel wing and started to spin like a drill.
"Electrode use thunderbolt !" said Surge
As Electrode used thunderbolt, it got deflected by steel drill.
"Electrode use gyroball ! " said Surge quickly as Electrode spins around rapidly into the Pidgeotto. While spinning, a light
blue aura shines around it and collided with Pidgeotto making it fall on the field.
"Pidgeo" said Pidgeotto as he tried to stood up and then flew back into the air
"Electrode, finish him using gyroball, " said Surge
"Pidgeotto let's defeat Electrode, use brave bird," said Ash as both pokemon collided and started to push each other back until both pokemon knocked out each other.
"Pidgeotto and Electrode are unable to battle, this is a draw, " declared referee
"Nice job Pidgeotto, return for now, " said Ash recalling his fallen Pokemon.
"Now my next pokemon is Zebstrika, " said Surge sending his Zebstrika into the battlefield.
"Zeraora battle time, " said Ash sending his electric type out.
"What kind of Pokemon is that ? Isn't it an electric type ? " asked Surge
"You are correct, that this is an electric type from Alola region and his name is Zeraora." said Ash
"An electric type huh, not so effective against an electric type. " said Surge
"Zeraora vs Zebstrika , let the battle begin, " said referee
"Zebstrika start with wild charge, " said Surge
"Zeraora stop him with low kick and finish with close combat, " said Ash
Zeraora ran towards Zebstrika with quick attack and used low sweep that tripped Zebstrika.Zeraora repeatedly punches and kicks the Zebstrika at a fast speed which seems like a blur to everyone except Ash.Within few moments Zebstrika is knocked out.Zeraora then came back on Ash's side.
"Zebstrika is unable to battle, Zeraora wins, " said referee
"That was a quick shot, " said Brock
"How could you defeat my well trained Zebstrika , " asked Surge
"And when you caught him, or in what stage you caught them, " asked Ash
"I caught all my Pokemon in the wild, three years back, " said Surge
"Well Zeraora is with me from eight years, in short, my Zeraora has eight years of battle experience " said Ash that shocked Lt.Surge
"Zeraora , return for now, " said Ash recalling him back.
"Now my next pokemon is Magnezone, " said Surge with a smirk on his face
"In that case Gyarados go, " said Ash releasing his water type.
"Are you kidding me, sending a water type against an electric type, " asked Surge
"Don't forget water is used as an industrial cutter as well, " said Ash
"But water is a good conductor of electricity as well, " said Surge
"Gyarados vs Magnezone let the battle begin, " said referee
"Magnezone use thunderbolt, " said Surge
"Gyarados use protect " said Ash
Thunderbolt launched by Magnezone is deflected by protect.
"Magnezone use Zap Cannon! " said Lt.Surge as Magnezone points its magnets at the Gyarados. It then fires two powerful beams from its magnet tips at the Gyarados.
"Gyarados use fire blast! " said Ash
Gyarados opens its mouth and releases a powerful X or star-shaped fire from its mouth at the incoming zap cannon.
"Gyarados use stone edge now!" said Ash via aura to Gyarados.Gyarados roars, causing pointed light blue rock pillars to appear of the ground and rush towards the magnezone striking it.
"Magnezone use Zap Cannon ! " said Lt.Surge
"Gyarados use scald! " said Ash
Gyarados launches boiling hot water at the incoming charge beam, scald pushed charge beam back and strikes magnezone sending it crashed in to the wall.
"Magnezone, " said Magnezone as it levitate back to the field.
"Magnezone use wild charge" said Lt.Surge
"Gyarados use flame impact!" said Ash
which shocked everyone as they didn't heard about any move by name flame impact.
Gyarados roared and then launched the dragon rage in the form of huge fireball in the air and then covered in giga impact energy, the fireball then falls on Gyarados merging with giga impact covering him in flames.Gyarados then launched fire blast that gain extra layer of flames.
"Magnezone go, " said Surge as Magenzone charged at Gyarados with wild charge.Gyarados charged with flame impact.
After a while Magnezone and Gyarados connected in middle of field.Gyarados's flame impact overpowered wild charge and leads to knocking out Magnezone immediately.
"What, how is that possible, " asked Surge in complete shock
"Gyarados ,you did great, return for now " said Ash recalling his water type.
" Now my next pokemon is Electrivire, " said Surge as Electrivire walked towards center of the battlefield.
"Pikachu, battle time, " said Ash making Pikachu jumped on field with electricity crackling with sparks.
"Pikachu vs Electrivire, let the battle begin, " said referee
"Electrivire use rock slide!" said Lt.Surge "Pikachu use quick attack!" said Ash
Electrivire raises both of its arms into the air. Then, multiple white rings
of energy then appear above Electrivire's body high in the sky and large gray
boulders come out of the ripples of energy. The boulders then started to fall down one by one.
"Pikachu use detect and dodge all rock slide using quick attack, " said Ash as Pikachu's eyes glows red and he used quick attack to jump on each rocks that are sliding from above.
"Electrivire use fire punch! " said Lt.Surge "Pikachu use thunder punch!" said Ash
Both Pikachu and Electrivire connected their first. Ash's Pikachu overpowered by Electrivire's fire punch. Fire punch not only
throws Pikachu back in the air but it also left Pikachu's arms burned as an after effect.
"Pikachu no, " said Ash in worry
"I am okay, " said Pikachu
"Now, use quick attack " said Ash
"Stop him, use earthquake, " said Surge
Electivire stomped on the field that results into mini earthquake that made Pikachu trip.
"Now grab him, " said Surge as Electrivire released his two wire like tentacles and grabbed Pikachu.Electrivire is now pushing pressure on Pikachu making him cry in pain.
"Bring that rat close to you and use fire punch back to back, " said Surge
"Electrivire, " said Electrivire as it's fist covered in fire and started to punch Pikachu back to back and finally throws him near Ash's feet.
"Pikachu can you battle, " asked Ash
"Yes, " said Pikachu
"Okay, ready for round two, " said Ash
"You seems quite over confident, " said Surge
"Pikachu, iron smash on the field, full power, " said Ash as Pikachu looked at him in confused look
"Just do it, " said Ash
"Brock what Ash is planning, any idea" asked Misty
"No, " said Brock as Pikachu executed the attack that made crack into the battle field after which many small parts of broken field raised in the air.
"Now use magnet rise, " said Ash
Pikachu emits yellow sparks of electricity from its body, raising it off
the ground. It also made broken pieces of the battlefield float in the air.
"Pikachu use magnet rise to control the pieces and use iron tail to throw pieces of field back to Electrivire.Use it as a divergence and then use quick attack to get near Electrivire, and use irontail and rock smash combo to trip him up." said Ash via aura bond.
"Got it, " replied Pikachu as he throw few pieces of broken field at Electrivire.
Electrivire simply destroyed it.Pikachu then launched more pieces at Electrivire. Taking advantage if distraction, Pikachu used quick attack to get near Electrivire.
Once Pikachu is near Electrivire he tried to use iron tail which unfortunately grabbed by Electrivire.
"Pikachu use swift, " said Ash. Pikachu holds himself steady and formed multiple glowing stars in front of his body and launched it at Electrivire. Being close to Electrivire, swift did good amount of damage making Pikachu free from grip of Electrivire.
"Now use your tail to jump high in the air and use quick bash dynamic smash " said Ash as Pikachu jumped in the air right above Electrivire. Pikachu then used quick attack combined with skull bash.
"Electrivire use thunderbolt full power to stop him, " said Surge.Before Electrivire could launch attack, Pikachu collided into him.Skull bash and quick attack combined with dynamic punch and rock mash deals greater damage making Electrivire unable to move for few moments.
"Now use full power iron smash, " said Ash as Pikachu charged at Electrivire with quick attack and smashed his glowing tail on side of Electrivire's neck knocking it out instantly.
"Electrivire is unable to battle, Pikachu wins, " said referee
"You did it buddy, your training paid off eventually, " said Ash as Pikachu hugged Ash
"How is that even possible, " said Surge clearly impressed by the Ash's performance.
"My final pokemon is my faithful Raichu, " said Surge as Raichu stepped into the battlefield.
"I want to battle you, pathetic rat, " said Raichu challenging Pikachu"You want to battle my Pikachu, in that case I choose Pikachu, " said Ash as Pikachu enters battlefield.
"Pikachu vs Raichu let the battle begin, " said referee
"Raichu show him the true meaning of an electric type, use thunderbolt, " said Surge as Raichu released massive bolt of electricity that raced towards Pikachu.
"Pikachu use your own thunder bolt, " said Ash.Both thunderbolt collided resulting into Pikachu's thunderbolt being pushed back until an explosion occurs.
"Raichu use volt tackle, " said Surge
"Pikachu counter with your iron smash," said Ash
As Raichu is charging towards Pikachu, it waited for right moment and then jumped in the air but Raichu is more powerful for Pikachu as it took Pikachu with him and crashed into the roof making Pikachu falling towards ground.
"Your Pikachu is dead, send your next pokemon already, " said Surge as a small crater formed where Pikachu fell.
"Pikachu , take rest, " said Ash as he picks him up but Pikachu wanted to settle score with Raichu and jumped out of Ash's arms and started to glare at Raichu.Cheeks started to crackle with electricity.
"Pikachu you still wanted to continue, " asked Ash
"Yes, I am and I will show Raichu that I am powerful as he is, " said Pikachu
"If this is what you wish for then, Surge get ready for round two, Pikachu vs Raichu, " said Ash
"If you want to see your Pokemon dead, then it's your wish, " said Surge as he commanded Raichu to go ahead with powerful double edge attack.
"Pikachu iron smash on the field, " said Ash
"We are not going to fall for the same trick, " said Surge as he ordered Raichu to stop and dodge but it dodn't worked as Raichu is not as fast as Pikachu is.As iron smash hit field ,it made crack into the battle field after which many small parts of broken field raised in the air and throws Raichu in the air as well.
"Now use swift attack and then propel yourself in the air using your tail " said Ash
Pikachu launched swift attack that strikes Raichu making him cry in pain.Pikachu then went near Raichu using his tail.
"Execute iron smash, " said Ash
"Raichu use iron tail to block, it' said Surge as Raichu used his own iron tail.Pikachu put all of remaining his power of rock smash inside his iron tail and swing his tail that connected with Raichu's iron tail.Raichu then binded Pikachu with his tail and brought Pikachu close to him.
"Now finish with hyper beam, " said Surge as Raichu is charging hyper beam
"Oh no, Pikachu is in danger, " said Misty
"Too bad, but his Raichu is way too powerful than we expected.His Raichu is no joke for some reason, " said Brock
Raichu is putting more pressure on him and then launched hyper beam at Pikachu knocking him down on the floor.
"Pikachu, " said Ash with sad emotion.
"Your Pikachu is down, bring your next pokemon already, " said Surge but then all of sudden Pikachu stopod up.
"What is happening, " asked Ash as Pikachu stood up and released a massive bolt of electricity towards Raichu that destroyed the battlefield completely and pushed Raichu backwards.
"I will not going to be defeated by hands of Raichu at any cost, " said Pikachu
"Pikachu no, you are going to hurt yourself up, " said Ash as Pikachu fainted.Ash then ran towards Pikachu and picked him up and gave him to Brock
"Gyarados go, " said Ash as he sends his Gyarados
"Raichu , use wild charge, " said Surge
"Gyarados use dragon rage, " said Ash
Gyarados then fires a ball of fire from its mouth at the incoming Raichu which dodged the attack, Gyarados then fired full power hyper beam that knocked Raichu out.
"Raichu is unable to battle.Since gym leader is out of usable pokemon, challenger Ash is winner, " said referee
"You are an amazing trainer kiddo.You showed me that type advantage is just and illusion that is stopping most trainers to overcome their weaknesses.You did an amazing job by training your pokemon.
Here is your thunder badge, " said Surge giving Ash his thunder badge.
"Thanks, this battle is my most amazing battle, and next time when we meet, I would like to have one on one friendly battle with your Raichu.My Pikachu vs yours Raichu." said Ash
"Sure, I am waiting for that day.All the best for league" said Surge
"Thanks, " said Ash
Three hour later, Ash and his friends are waiting for Ash's pokemon to get healed up.Pikachu and Pidgeotto took more damage.Ash is currently in the general ward where his Pidgeotto and Pikachu are resting.
"You both did nice job, " said Ash to his Pidgeotto and Pikachu.
"Thanks Ash, " replied Pidgeotto but Pikachu looks upset
"Pikachu, are you okay, you look upset, " asked Ash
"Raichu defeated me, " said Pikachu
"Chill buddy , you should be happy that you defeated his Electrivire and able to go toe to toe with Raichu and we will train, " said Ash
"Ash is right, you shouldn't be upset , infact you should be happy that you defeated his second most powerful pokemon." said Lucario.Pikachu think a lot about it and then return happy smile.
"You both take rest, we will continue our journey tomorrow." said Ash
