The next weekend Haru was enjoying her breakfast with some of the girls, plucking on her guitar with Jiro when Aizawa told her to head to the principal's office. It was nothing, she just got a letter. Only knowing one person that sent her letters, Haru exclaimed her little brother's name in excitement and ran out of the dorms. Her friends sharing her excitement, they knew by now her current situation, the last time she was able to see little Yuki being just before school started.

Practically bouncing down the halls of the school Haru snapped a picture of the photo Yuki sent her to send to her friends. He was so cute in his school uniform, the little six year old boy in full view with a bright smile and a tail that matched her own. Reading through the letter she was happy to hear him talking about the friends he made since he started school, how his summer break was going, and how nice his teacher was. He asked her some questions and ending it with an adorably written.

I miss you sissy, I love you. Signed, Yuki.

Carefully folding the letter along it's original folds she slid it all back into the envelope with the photo. Sitting on the bench by her locker, she pulled off her shoes and stood there holding onto them while smiling brightly at how well little Yuki had written her name on the front of the envelope.

"We should have run into her by now." Eijiro pointed out running into Bakugo's back when he came to a sudden stop. Looking around his friend, he saw what he was looking at. Haru's locker open, her casual shoes still in the locker, her school shoes dropped on the ground, and no sign of her. Bakugo didn't need to say anything, he took off with Eijiro and Denki right on his heels.

"It didn't matter that she was Bakugo's girl or not, she was their friend and had been for months now. They knew how she was constantly being grabbed and pulled at by strangers, both inside school and out. No one talked about it when she was around since it seemed to make her feel guilty, but everyone noticed how the grabbing's had gotten worst since word got out that she was dating Bakugo. Often times the boys would make comments about how Bakugo wasn't a real bad boy, always telling her how they would show her what a real bad boy was like.

"Around the back of the building, a bolt of lightning changed the shadows for a fraction of a second. Turning the corner, they found her, her clothing ripped at like they had tried forcing her to strip, her shirt hung off her leaving her exposed. She didn't seem to care or even notice. Her tail flicking behind her like a cat's, her hands turned to claws with the energy wrapped around them, bat-like wings on her back, and her eyes with that blood crimson glow. She clung to a tree like an animal before launching herself directly to a boy that was laughing and dropping ripped up pieces of a letter. Screaming like a feral animal when he caught her by the throat she flailed in the air, her claws shredding at the arm that held her.

"Bitch." The large boy hissed before slamming her into the ground and punching her quickly in the face a few times until she stopped moving. The boy didn't get the chance to pull his arm back to hit her again, a hand gripped onto his face pulling him back before being engulfed in an explosion at point blank range. Standing up straight Bakugo gripped onto his arm in excruciating pain, shaking it a few times he pushed the pain away and flew forward again. Eijiro fighting right at his side, Denki was about to join them when he caught a close up look at Haru, laying far too still and covered in her own blood. Pulling her into his lap he pressed his ear to her chest, praying for any sign that she was alive. When he heard it, he grabbed onto the end of her tail and used the weakest level of electricity he could hoping that she was taking it.

Aizawa's binding cloth shot out, wrapping around, and pulling his two students off their upperclassmen. "Why is it when ever anything happens, it's you." He demanded his hair standing up, the yellow of his quirk locked on Bakugo.

"Aizawa." Shinso gasped as he made his way to Haru.

"Up against the wall, everyone." The teacher demanded, having Denki hand Haru to Shinso so he too could line up. After checking her condition Aizawa zipped Shinso's jacket over her sending him off to take her to the nurse before commanding all the students to follow him to the principal's office.

Groggily Haru blinked her eyes open to the lights of the nurses office, an IV stuck in one arm and Shinso sitting in a chair at the other. Groaning Haru sat up only for Recovery Girl demanding that she remain laying down for at least a few more minutes.

"Master?" Haru asked. "Did you heal me?"

"Yes, with the injuries you got, it would have taken you far too much time to heal on your own. I used my quirk on the major ones, I'll leave the smaller ones to you." Recovery Girl explained handing Haru her chart so the girl could look over the notes.

"I'm sorry master but thank you." Haru gave what little bow she could before looking at what Recovery Girl handed her.

"Are you ready to tell me what happened?" Aizawa asked from the foot of her bed.

"I was on my way back to the dorms when they approached me by the lockers." Haru started, making sure to get right to the point and give him only facts. "They wanted to talk, to meet them around the back of the building. When I refused, they took the letter I got from Yuki, so I followed them. One of them wanted to confess his feelings to me, when I didn't respond the way he wanted they attacked me. When I fought back, he ripped Yuki's letter in half, they thought it was a love letter from someone else and ignored me when I told them the truth." Taking a deep breath, she finished. "I lost control of myself when I saw the photo ripped. I fought them, weaponizing my quirk. I'll accept any punishment you see fit, my deepest apologies."

Stepping out of the room Recovery Girl and Aizawa spoke, Shinso standing in the doorway listening and watching Haru remove her own IV.

"She had a serious concussion, bleeding in her brain, a broken rib that punctured her lung, and a blown pupil in one of her eyes." Recovery Girl stated. "I know Haru, she's downplaying the beating she took. She's always been like this, trying to pretend she's not suffering for the sake of everyone else. If she's openly saying she was being beat, then I hate to think about what those boys did to her. I know I'm biased because she's my pupil, but I do want those boys to see appropriate punishment." Aizawa answered with reassurance that principle Nezu was just as upset as she was, and that the statement from Recovery Girl on Haru's injuries would play a large part in what the punishment would be.

"Why did you leave out some details?" Shinso asked her as they walked back to the dorms, Haru was looking through the plain envelope that held the remains of Yuki's ripped up letter.

"Because…" she trailed off, her finger tips brushing against the stiches in her forehead and gently touching the split in her lip. Turning to face her friend she asked if she had any bruises appearing, but to her dismay one of her eyes was turning black and a print of the boys wand was starting to show around her throat.

"You could at least tell me." Tilting his head to the side he looked down at her as she pouted over her bruises, his usual weird smile on his face. "Depressed buddies, remember?" Finally she laughed.

"Okay, you got me there." She smiled back at him. "They made comments about how since I'm dating Bakugo I must like bad boys, he said he was going to show me that he's more of a bad boy than Kacchan."

"then they started beating you?" she nodded pulling out her phone and smiling at the photo she had of Yuki, grateful that she thought to take the picture to show her friends.

"I've delt with worst." She stated so nonchalantly, as if she was stating the sun was bright. "never been knocked out like that before though, that was new." She laughed, Shinso looking at her like she was crazy. Perhaps she was darker than him after all, she wasn't joking when she said she had truly suffered in the dark. But still, as her friend, he had to ask, he had to know.

"Does Bakugo hurt you?"

"What?" she asked, coming to a stop for a moment. "No, it was my past. He would never."

"I had to ask." He admitted continuing their walk.

"I just wanted to keep him from finding out, I don't want him to blame himself." She explained turning the corner, the steps of their dorm coming into view. Sitting outside Bakugo looked at the ground, his eyes lost in thought, his body covered in a light sweat, one of his legs bounding.

"I don't think you can stop him." Shinso pointed out lifting a finger in his direction. Taking larger than normal steps Haru crouched down in front of his face, her hands on his knees keeper her balanced.

"You okay?" she asked him careful to keep her voice quiet and gentle. His red eyes widened at the sight of her, taking in every heart pounding detail that wasn't supposed to be there. He wanted to reach out and pull her into his arms and hold her tightly, but he was scared that it would hurt her even more, so instead he tightened his grip on his numb hands.

"Don't worry about me. Are you okay?" he demanded with a whine, his chest started to squeeze, making it hard for him to breathe.

"I'll be finished healing by tomorrow I'm sure. Recovery Girl healed most of it." She explained, with every word she said his breaths came faster and harder. "Come with me." Haru gently pulled him to his feet, his hands trembling in hers

"Haru, how are you feeling?" Eijiro asked jumping from the couch as she entered with Bakugo following aimlessly behind her, his eyes open and cast to the floor.

"I'm okay, thank you."

"Kacchan." Izuku inquired standing beside Eijiro, his eyes fixed on his childhood friend.

"Fuck off Deku." Bakugo mumbled quietly.

"He'll be fine, I promise." Haru reassured the two boys before guiding her boyfriend to the elevator and her room, it would be bad for him if he broke down and had his panic attack for everyone to see, he was so prideful.
