TA: Lost and Found

"Sari, be careful!" I yell to her as she hits a ball too hard and it smacks into Ratchet. Sari has introduced the team to a game and everyone but Optimus, Ratchet, and myself are playing. "Hey! Watch the fender!" Ratchet yells.
Sari scares over to him. "Time out! Fan interference."
"Fist off, I'm no fan of this childish game. Second, the only interference is with my stasis nap!" Ratchet argues.
"Yeesh,, what a grouch." Sari mutters.
"Sari, bring it back over here. Let's try to leave Ratchet out of it okay?" I say.
"Okay! Game on!" Sari replies.
Bee intercepts her on getting the ball and goes towards the goal that Bulk is guarding. Bee swings and hits the ball past Bulk but its blocked by a trash bot, with a familiar key sticking out of it. "Sari." I say sternly with my arms crossed.
"Opps. How did that get there." She says not so innocently.
"Sari, how many times do I have to tell you that key is not a toy." Ratchet chastises.
Suddenly the key starts glowing. "Sari, what did he just say." I add.
"But I'm not doing that." She says.
A beam suddenly shoots out and it follows two red lights that shoot across the sky and then there's a crash sound. "This is not good." Ratchet says seriously.
"Everyone, lets go investigate." Optimus orders.
We check out the monitors inside the base. It shows two Decepticons and they are talking about looking for us. "Those Decepticons are looking for us." Prowl says.
"Lets go kick their mother boards." Sari says.
"No. You stay here." Ratchet says.
"But I wanna-"
"We barely held our own against one Deception. We're not risking your life against two." Ratchet interrupts.
"They aren't like the human criminals we're encountered. These guys are much more dangerous. Your nowhere near equipped enough to handle them." I ad.
"They're right Sari. Plus, we need to lure them away from innocents." Optimus says.
"Uh, aren't we innocents." Bee says nervously.
"Autobots transform and roll out!" Optimus orders. We travel to where the Cons are located and see them making a mess of things.
"Reveal yourselves Autobots!" The big one yells.
"Heard you were looking for us." Optimus says as we transform. This draws their attention.
The Con throws a truck at us and we jump out of the way. Optimus lands behind the big one and I land to the side. Prowl throws some shuriken at the big one but the other just uses some flames to melt them. "Way to wiff torchy!" Bee yells to the shorter con.
"The names Blitzwing insect! And I'm just getting warmed up!" He fires at Bee again.
One looks as if its going to hit Bee so I pull him behind a pillar. I look out to see the con and I see, to my amazement, his face change. This one is black with a wide grin, which honestly is creepy. "Speaking of warmed up is it hot out here or is it just you?"
Both Bee and I groan. "Dude, even I could do better than that." Bee says.
The cons face switches back to red and starts shooting at Prowl, whom has drawn his attention. He quickly becomes aggravated when he gets a hit in. The three of us keep this up. The big one then suddenly multiple missiles from his back. Ratchet uses his magnets to keep them together and in the air. "Can't hold em off!" He struggles.
"Then I'll just have to shut him off." Bulk says before charging at the big one. However, he just grabs ahold of Bulk and tosses him. "Fool! No one moves Lugnut." So thats his name.
Bee then charges at Blitzwing while dodging his shoulder missiles. "Hold still Autobot Scum!"
"Why don't you chill out!" Bee says.
Blitzwing's face switches to blue and he shoots at the ground, which causes it to ice over. This causes Bee to slip and slide towards the pair. "Hang on Bumblebee!" Optimus readies his hooks.
"Where is our glorious leader? Where is Megatron?!" Lugnut exclaims. He tries to stomp on Bee but he's grabbed by Optimus' hooks and pulled away.
"Big scary dude? Didn't he turn into a fireball somewhere over Cleveland?" Bee asks.
"Its a lie! Megatron lives!" Lugnut yells angrily before slamming his fist onto the ground with a high force that creates a blast that knocks us back and disorients us. We all groan in discomfort. We pick ourselves up in enough time to see the pair argue before Lugnut grabs Blitzwing and flies off.
"That was different." Ratchet comments.
"Why did they just leave?" I ask.
"I don't know. We'll keep monitoring for any activity. For now lets return to base for repairs." Optimus orders.
"Oh my aching chassis." Bulk groans as he's getting worked on after we've gotten to base.
"Your lucky your still online. After facing those Decepticons." Ratchet says.
"I think one of them has a screw loose." Bee says about Blitzwing.
"Just one?" I joke.
"Crazy or not we can't risk them getting their servos on the Allspark." Ratchet says.
"And we can't endanger anymore innocent human lives." Optimus adds.
"So what do you suggest we do?" I ask.
"Well have to repair our ship and move the Allspark off this planet." Optimus replies.
"We can't just pick up and leave. How will we break the news to Sari." Bulk asks.
"She's a big girl. She'll understand." Bee replies.
I shake my head. "I highly doubt that."
"She will. You'll see." Bee reassures.
Well...it ended up going how I thought it would. With a crying Sari after we tell her what we are planning to do. "Sari, please try to understand...we don't have a choice" Optimus tells her.
"It's only a matter of time before even more Cons follow us here." Prowl adds.
"So!" Sari huffs.
"Grow up kid. The only way for us to protect your planet and the Allspark is to go." Ratchet huffs back.
"We're running out of time Sari. Ratchet can't fix the ship without you and your key." Optimus says.
"You want me to spend the next ten megacycles alone-on a spaceship-at the bottom of Lake Erie with this-protoform!" Ratchet exclaims.
""Well, I'm not helping you guys leave and Im definitely not gonna work with some grumpy old bot!" Sari yells.
"Like it or not you two are allies-friends. That's an order." Optimus says sternly.
The two just glare at each other.
"Besides, you two won't be alone. I'm sending Shadowmist with you." Optimus adds.
"Wouldn't hurt to have someone else working on repairs." I say in approval.
"Well that...and to keep these two on track." Optimus says.
I giggle. "Yeah, stick me with the hard job."
He smirks. "I think you can handle it."
We waste no time and make our way to Lake Erie but someone is very reluctant. "Move along kid. We haven't got all night." Ratchet tells Sari.
"I forgot my swimsuit." Sari says smartly.
"Come on Sari. Lets get along." I say.
"Tell him that." She replies. Suddenly the key glows again. "Incoming!"
Missiles, from Lugnut, rain down on us but thankfully miss. I transform. "Sari! Get in!"
She quickly climbs into my alt mode. "We'll hold them off." Optimus says before Ratchet and I drive off. Unfortunately, we are intercepted by Blitzwing freezing the water in front of us. We keep driving on the icy lake, with the cons shooting behind us.
"Prepare to perish Autobots!" Lugnut yells. His missiles hit the ice creating a hole.
"Ratchet, lets go for it!" I yell to him. "Hang on Sari!"
We drive at the hole and fall into the water. We sink to the bottom and drive along towards the ship. Thankfully it doesn't take long and are soon inside the ship and in the command center. "Didn't think we'd forget about you did ya old friend." Ratchet says to the ship...but I don't comment.
Sari, however, does. "Are you talking to the ship?"
"Of course I am." Ratchet says.
"Right...did you get a virus from that demented Decepticon?" Sari asks sarcastically.
"Your about as much help as a cracked motherboard." Ratchet responds dryly.
"You don't like my help-fine! I don't wanna help my friends leave, or you either. She says before walking away.
"Sari!" I call but she doesn't stop. I then turn to Ratchet. "Don't take what she says to spark. She cares about you too."
He goes to working on the ship and I do as well. "That I find hard to believe."
"She does. She's just upset about the idea of us leaving. It's hard for her." I say.
"Well its not like its easy for any of us." He grumbles.
I smile. "Careful Ratchet. You almost sounded like you care."
"Don't you get sassy with me. One's bad enough." He says half heartedly.
Suddenly an alarm goes off from the docking bay. We rush over and see the door open with water coming in and Sari floating around.
Ratchet quickly catches her, as I close the door. "Are you alright?" I ask worriedly.
"Im sorry. I'm so sorry. I tried to keep you from leaving but the key wouldn't let me. It knew!" Sari exclaims.
"I understand. I've become surprisingly attached to this little planet and its people, especially you." Ratchet says softly.
"You have?" She asks.
"If anything happened to you at the hands of the Decepticons..." Ratchet says worriedly.
"That's why we have to leave sweetling. We don't want anything happening to you." I add.
Sari ponders our words before smiling. "How can I help?"
Ratchet leads us into another area of the ship. He explains to Sari, "This ship used to be a military vessel but its weapons were disabled when it was put into maintenance service. If you can re-activate them we might stand a chance against the Decepticons."
"So what do we do Ratchet?" I ask.
"Lets get this ship back in shape." He instructs.
"Yes sir." I nod.
Ratchet removes a hatch under the console and he and I mess with the wires and circuitry for a bit. Ratchet then instructs Sari to use her key. She does so and the console lights up bit by bit." "Yes!" We cheer.
One of the monitors come on which show the others fighting the two cons. "Ratchet, Shadow we can't hold them much longer." Optimus says.
"Draw them closer to the ship!" Ratchet instructs.
"Ratchet, have you cracked a processor!" Optimus argues. "We're supposed to be keeping them away from the Allspark!"
"Trust him Optimus. He has a plan." I reassure.
"I hope its a good one." Optimus says before cutting the link.
I can hear the blasts going on outside as we ready the ship. The mechs outside draw the cons closer and once there where we want them Ratchet says, "Now!"
I hit the controls Ratchet instructed me to and the weapons system comes online. I aim it at the cons and activate the weapon which blasts the cons away. "Optimus? Did we get them?" I ask.
"Sure did. I don't see them anywhere. if it didn't get them permanently they won't be a problem for a while. Good job you two. Come on out and we'll go back to base."
By the time we get back its already morning. Ratchet immediately starts repairs, with Sari's help. "Ow! Be careful with that." Bee groans.
"Don't be such a baby. I'm just fixing you up." Sari tells him.
"While your at it do you think you could customize me Maybe add some of those rims that spin?" Bee asks.
Sari just gives him a stern look. "This key isn't a toy Bumblebee. We're gonna need its power to repair the rest of your ship."
"Yeesh, you sound just like Ratchet." Bee says.
"That a girl." Ratchet smiles.
"Don't be in such a hurry to get rid of us." Bulk comments.
"Even with the key it'll take a while for the ship to be fully operational. We might be around for a long long tine." Ratchet replies.
Sari smiles.
"Looks like your stuck with us for a while." I reassure her.
She grins and wraps her arms around my hand, and squeals in delight.
