To answer your question wolf, yes there a few non-sapient mammals and non-mammals too. Here's a list.
and bulls are non-sapient (but not buffalos, yaks, bison, goats, or oxen).
birds are non-sapient in this universe. ( They usually hunt smaller birds instead of rodents and stuff, then the smaller birds eat bugs). Chicken is also a food source.
bugs are non-sapient.
Pigs and boars are non-sapient. Pork is a food source.
On animals from the ocean, I'm still kind of conflicted. Cause I mean, I have an ocean character and he is sentient. I'm not sure, but I might have Judy and Nick encounter some of the animals of the ocean (I just need to figure out how since I'm pretty sure foxes and rabbits don't breath underwater. But they are vampires so it might work out). Anyways let's just say that most fish that we would eat, the animals also eat. But for now, let's say that things like whales, octopuses, dolphins :), orcas, and sharks are sentient but they don't really mingle with the rest of the land animals, nor do the land animals really hang out with them.
Most of the snake population.
amphibious creatures.
reptiles.
I can't think of anything else.
Also, come on guys! I only ever hear feedback from like 2 people. I don't care what it is, I wanna hear what you think. Thought something in the fic was funny? Tell me! Have advice on how to word my sentences? Get on that!. Do you know what I'm saying? Anyways, let's get to the story.
The song Nick sings is One Thing Right, by Kane Brown. I found this song and just think it screams Judy and Nick so I'm putting it in. Here's the OG link: watch?v=29a6o5vRKVM
And here's what Nick plays: watch?v=XgKOogTQ7cg
I just wanted this chapter to strengthen how much Nick loves Judy.
Bloodbunny 2
Chapter 5
Love
By: SmilingDolphins
It had been a few days since the whole... fiasco. Judy still burned with anger whenever she thought about it. Whenever the female lynx saw her (it was bound to happen occasionally with how big the castle was), she immediately would turn around and start walking the other way. Sorina would flinch whenever Judy made sudden movements around her. Judy didn't want to admit it, but it pleased her. Nick was hers. NO ONE was allowed to have him.
Judy had found the piano on accident. She thought she finally had the way to her and Nick's room but she had taken a right when she should have taken a left. She had come to the end of an identical-looking hallway and opened a door that looked exactly like theirs. When she opened the door, expecting to see Nick, she had instead been greeted by a mostly empty room. But in the center was a beautiful, but strange-looking piano. The piano itself was white, with golden gilding. The strange part was that out of the sides and back, multiple pipes came out of the piano. They all met and shot up into the ceiling. She had quickly run back to her room and found Nick. One pipe was open and position right where the pianist's face would be.
"Nick I have something to show you!" She said bursting through the curtains that were serving as their door. Nick got startled and appeared on top of a desk, instead of the bed where he had been laying. Judy gave him no time to even ask what she meant. She grabbed his hand and began dragging him along. She walked into the room and gestured to the piano.
"Play me something." She said.
Nick rubbed his wrist. "Like what?" he asked.
"You choose."
Nick walked over to the piano and sat down. Judy pulled up a stool and watched. Nick ran over some songs he knew.
I know! Nick thought.
Nick played a few notes. He paused. Then he began to sing and play together.
"I've cheated and I've lied."
"I've broke down and I've cried."
"I've got nothin' to hide."
"No more!"
"I've loved and I've hurt, broken people down with words..."
"More grace than I deserve, for sure."
"Known to be crazy."
"Known to be Wilde"
"Momma had her self a little devilish child."
"Aint no stranger to the troubles at my door!"
"I've been at the wrong place at the wrong time, chasin all the wrong things most of my life."
"Been every kinda lost that you caint find, but I got one thing right..."
"Been the kinda guy girl's mommas don't like, runnin with the wrong crowd on the wrong nights."
"I've been wrong bout a million times, but I got one. thing. right..."
"YOU."
Nick finished the rest of the song. He turned around a cocky smile on his face and was met with a tackle hug from a crying Judy.
"Nick... that was beautiful." Nick kissed her head.
"I'm glad you liked it fluff." He said.
"Say, what do you think this piano does?"
Throughout the house, people were speechless.
Sorina sat in her room. Multiple tears fell from her eyes and hit the floor.
Crodut stared out of his window., his eyes wet. Only a single tear came from him.
Doina wiped her nose and sniffled. She felt hope inside of her.
Luca and Alina sat on a couch in the master bedroom, a fire in the fireplace.
"I love you, Luca," Alina said, cuddling with him. A few tears came from her eyes. Luca put his arm around Alina and held her close. He lifted a single finger and plucked a tear from his eye. Not since he was a small boy had he heard the special Aurdeu Piano. The brass pipes sent the sound throughout the house, into almost every room, except the very room it was in. If you didn't know what it did, you might just think it's a strange-looking piano, as he had a feeling Nick and Judy did. He would make sure they didn't find out what it did. Maybe they would play some more.
No, I wish they would play some more. I want them to play. That song... it was made of PURE love. He thought. He kissed Alina's head and laid his own on top of it.
"Goodnight, my love" He whispered in her ear
An Aurdeu Piano (pronounced Or-doo) is not a real piano(though I'm now thinking about making it into one, cause it seems like a really cool idea when I think about it). Loosely translated, Aurdeu means "The gods listen".
