Chapter 10

Gil walked home, looking down.

"Hey Gil!" He heard from behind. It was Goby.

"Hey Goby..." Gil said.

"Woah, you look down. What's wrong?" Goby said being fake worried.

"N Nothing, it's just... sigh."

"Let's walk a little, then you'll explain it." And that's what they did. Gil began explaining the conversation he just had with Molly. After some walking, they stopped near an alley.

"That's not very nice of you, beating that person up, but yeah, jealousy... I might have a solution to your problem. Follow me." Goby said and he entered the alley. Gil was confused but followed him anyway.

"Let me present to you Brandon. Brandon, this is Gil." Goby said. Gil was shocked.

"Hello, Gil. So, you like beatings? And women? Molly perhaps, but 1 isn't enough for you." Brandon said approaching.

"What's that for nons..." Before he could finish his sentence, Brandon attacked him. Goby joined too.

Several punches and kicks later, the 2 boys ran away and left Gil on the ground. He got badly wounded. After some time he got up and left the alley. Now, he was on the sidewalk.

"Hey Gil!" A voice said. Gil turned around and it was Oona. "Oh my god Gil! Your nose is bleeding, and you have a black eye! What happened?"

"Got assaulted. By Brandon, and Goby." Gil said still in pain.

"I'll bring you home to help you, come." Oona said.

At Oonas home, Gil received medical attention. The 2 sat in the couch.

"My nose doesn't bleed anymore, and my black eye doesn't hurt as much as a quarter back. I can't thank you enough Oona." Gil said.

"No problem. I'm still shocked Goby is one of the aggressors. You were best friends. Why would he do that?" Oona asked.

"I really don't know. Maybe Deema is hanging too much with me." Gil said. Oona nodded.

"And Brandon?"

"Well, you know for sure that he's the boyfriend of Molly. Well, when I heard the news, I gave him a beating..."

"I'm sorry for you and Molly. I can understand it somewhere, your motivation." The 2 looked down. Gil smiled a bit.

"Oona..." Gil said. Oona looked up and blushed a bit. Gil approached. And the 2 kissed.
