Note: Okay, I want to say that I'm really eager to get this story done. Before I enter this chapter, I want to say something.

EquinoxWolf: I guess that I took your backwards name joke a little too seriously, now didn't I? If you're wondering why Fox and the others haven't found Krystal yet, it's because that Star Wolf has gotten harder to track down now that they're vampires (I probably should have included some moments of this in the previous chapter). Also, the castle Star Wolf is going to reside in for the rest of the story will debut in this chapter. While I'm at it, will you tell anyone who's interested about this story?

From this chapter onward, everything is going to get personal. Now then, it's time for chapter 9.

Chapter 9: Abductions

Fox, Falco, and Slippy were walking through General Pepper's tower, hoping to see him immediately. It had taken Peppy so long to schedule a meeting between them, largely due to the General having several important meetings. When they got to the General's office, they saw Peppy standing next to him.

"Ah," General Pepper said, "Star Fox, good to see that you're here."

"Take a seat, boys." Peppy told them.

The three Star Fox members took a seat next to the General.

"What's the word, sir?" Fox asked.

"I know that it's been rough for your team," The General said, "especially since one of your members went missing."

"That's the problem," Slippy said, "we've been looking for Krystal for three weeks and we can't find her anywhere!"

"Considering how she's a vampire now," Falco said, "it's possible that we can't even track her."

"Well, you don't need to worry." The General stated.

"We don't?" Slippy asked.

"No, she's back." Pepper said.

"She's back?! That's wonderful!" Fox said, glad to hear that Krystal was okay.

"Unfortunately, she's been seen with Star Wolf." The General said.

"Wolf did say that she was going to train with him, now didn't he?" Peppy asked.

"That's true," Falco said, "but how did you find out that they were in town?"

"We've caught surveillance footage of it." Peppy said as he pulled out a videotape.

General Pepper inserted the videotape into the database computer. When the video came on, it showed two people, a goat and a white cat, being drained of their blood. However, there was no one else in the video, other than the victims.

"I can't see who is attacking those people." Slippy said.

"The attackers are vampires," Falco grunted, "paranormal phenomena can't be photographed or caught on film."

"But this has been the fiftieth vampire attack on Corneria." Peppy said.

"The fiftieth?!" Slippy asked.

"Wolf must be going for a new record!" Fox stated.

"And now that Krystal's been turned," General Pepper stated, "Star Wolf will be unstoppable!"

"Not if we can help it!" Falco said with determination.

"Yeah, even if it pisses Wolf off, we're going to get Krystal back!" Fox clenched his fists, ready to kill the one-eyed lupine.

A frantic knock came on the door.

"Come in!" Peppy said.

Orlando and Fara rushed into the room.

"Fara? Mr. Helsing?" Falco asked.

"Guys, Katt's been taken!" Fara said.

"Was it Wolf?" Fox asked.

"No," Orlando said, "it was a lynx with an earring who was dressed in a cloak!"

"Star Wolf turned Miyu, too?!" Slippy asked.

"Not only her, but also a white dog!" The coyote said.

"That's Fay!" Peppy cried.

"Great," Falco said in sarcasm, "not only are they turning Krystal against us, but they've turned our former teammates against us as well!"

"Did they just take Katt?" Fox asked.

"Bill's been kidnapped as well!" Fara said.

"It's time to take action," Orlando said as he pulled out an iron stake, "we need to put a stake through each member of Star Wolf!"

"But we need to spare Fay, Miyu, and Krystal!" Fox said.

"And Katt, if they haven't turned her already!" Falco stated.

While the group was talking, Peppy realized something "Oh my stars, Lucy's still out there!"

"Try to call her, Peppy!" Slippy said.

"And while you do that, we'll try to defeat Star Wolf!" Fox said.

"Let's go!" Orlando said as he opened the door, letting Fara out first. Afterwards, everyone else (minus Peppy and General Pepper) followed. When they left the tower, the group ran into the city, intent on finishing off Star Wolf.

Lucy Hare was walking down the street, minding her own business. For the most part, she was having a good day. The only problem she had today was that some jerk tried to mug her. The young hare was happy that it was the weekend, because it was a break from her job as a teacher. However, she wasn't expecting what was going to happen next, as there was a shadow behind her.

"Look," Lucy said, thinking that it was the mugger from before, "if you don't stop pestering me, I'll call the police!"

However, it wasn't the thug from before. The shadow had actually belonged to a familiar cobalt vixen wearing a black hoodie. Turning around, Lucy saw the vixen who was following her.

"Hello, are you okay?" Lucy asked in concern.

"I'm fine." Krystal answered.

"So, you're Krystal?" The doe asked.

"I take it that Peppy has told you about me?" The vixen interrogated.

"Dad tells me about everyone." The doe smiled.

"That's Peppy alright." The cobalt vixen smiled.

"Why are you dressed like that?" Lucy asked, "It's a cloudy day, but it's not cold."

"I just felt like wearing this today." Krystal lied.

"Why are you really wearing it?" The doe asked, not buying the vixen's lie.

"If I tell you, can you promise that you won't panic?" The cobalt vixen asked.

"Sure." The hare said

Krystal sighed and said "I'm a vampire."

Instead of panicking, Lucy squealed.

"What's wrong?" The vixen asked.

"I've always wanted to meet a vampire!" The doe excitedly stated.

"Why?" The cobalt vixen said, "And don't say that it's because I will sparkle in the sunlight, because I'll melt under the sun."

"I just think that paranormal stuff is interesting!" The hare smiled.

Krystal, what's going on? Volk's voice echoed through Krystal's mind.

I'm talking to Peppy's daughter, The cobalt vixen used her telepathy, she's actually excited to learn that I'm a vampire.

Well, knock her out. Volk's voice continued, You can't let that hare tell the others where you are.

On it. Krystal telepathically communicated.

"Are you okay?" Lucy asked.

"I'm sorry," The cobalt vixen said as she pulled out a rag, "but I need you to go to sleep."

Without warning, Krystal put the rag over Lucy's face. The doe tried to break free of the cobalt vixen's grasp, even letting out a few muffled screams, but she soon found herself slipping into unconsciousness. As soon as the hare was down, the Cerinian put her over her shoulder. In Lucy's pocket, a phone started to ring. In response to this, Krystal hung it up.

"Krystal!" Falco's voice rang out.

"There she is!" Slippy said.

Dammit, they found me! The cobalt vixen thought as she got ready to fly.

"Wait, Krystal!" Fox pleaded.

"Please don't come near me, I don't want any of you to get hurt!" The Cerinian said as she flew off.

"No, let her go!" Fara shouted.

"Krystal, let us help you!" Slippy said.

The vixen was out of sight, much to everyone's frustration and sadness.

"Let's follow her, this isn't over!" Orlando said as he ran towards where Krystal was flying.

After a few minutes of flying, Krystal found herself in front of a large castle. This castle was where Star Wolf was currently residing, so it was the cobalt vixen's destination. With Lucy over her shoulder, the vixen entered the castle, where she was greeted by Volk.

"You're kind of late, Krystal." The one-eyed lupine said.

"I know, but I got someone." The vixen said.

"I personally would have just fed on her," Volk looked at the unconscious hare, "but I guess taking her as a prisoner would be fine too."

"Can you lead me to the dungeon?" Krystal asked.

"Sure," The lupine vampire said, "then I'll have our fellow vampires get the rest of your former allies."

The dungeon room was massive, as it was full of twelve individual cells. Krystal carefully carried Lucy into one of the cells when Volk opened it up. However, before they left, the two vampires were greeted by a familiar voice.

"Let me out of this cell, you crazy, one-eyed, creep!"

That voice belonged to Katt, who was in a cell with Bill. The two were in separate areas, with Katt at the bars and Bill on the bed.

"Sorry kitten," Volk said, "but you are in there until I say when."

"We won't be in here forever!" Bill defiantly shouted.

"What makes you say that, Grey?" The one-eyed vampire chuckled.

"Fox will save us, I know it!" The dog said.

"Believe me," The lupine-turned-monster said, "if that idiot knows better, Fox will stay away from this castle. Unless he wants to die by the hands of the King of the vampires and the army of the undead, that Pup will steer clear of this place."

Lucy woke up "What's going on?"

"You're a teacher, aren't you?" Volk sneered, "You'll figure it out."

"You won't get away with this!" Katt yelled, "You and your army will be destroyed!"

"Panther! Leon! Fay! Miyu!" The one-eyed vampire shouted.

The four came down to the dungeon and came near Volk and Krystal.

"What is it, Master Volk?" Fay asked.

"I want each of you to get the rest of Star Fox, Peppy included." The King of the Vampires said.

"What about Fox?" Panther asked.

"I'll deal with the Pup," Volk smiled, "you deal with the rest of his team."

"I like that idea." Leon smirked.

"Leave them alone if it's just Fox you want!" Bill shouted.

"Don't involve my father in this!" Lucy wailed, gearing for her father's safety.

"Prisoners don't get a say in this!" Miyu spat at her.

"Yeah, so be quiet!" Leon said.

"Let's go while we're at it," Fay spoke, "we shouldn't waste time before gathering our guests."

"Agreed, our time is running short." Panther said.

Leon, Panther, Fay, and Miyu soon left the dungeon to go gather the other members of Star Fox, with the sole exception of Fox.

"As for you, Krystal," Volk said, "I have something to show you."

"What is it?" The cobalt vixen asked.

"Well, come with me and you'll see it." The lupine vampire said as he led her out of the room.

"You monster!" Bill shouted.

"Fox will beat you, O'Donnell!" Katt screamed.

"Don't hurt my friends!" Lucy shouted, her voice filled with anger.

Volk and Krystal walked to a room on the third floor of the castle. When they opened the door, the master and his servant entered an area with a few coffins in it.

"Which one of these is mine?" The cobalt vixen asked.

"The coffin in the back is yours." The one-eyed vampire said.

"Thanks," Krystal said, "I needed a nap anyway."

"Don't mention it, my dear." Volk said, "I'll wake you up when I need you."

The cobalt vixen walked towards her coffin and entered it. When she was in it, the Cerinian-turned-vampire fell asleep. Volk couldn't help but smile, knowing that his servant was enjoying the pros of her vampirism and being cautious of the cons.

Fox, Falco, Slippy, Fara, and Orlando found themselves in a forest. By following Krystal, the five could feel that they were getting closer to where she was at. It didn't matter if she was a vampire, they just wanted to see her again. Along with that, they wanted to stake Star Wolf in their hearts.

"We should split up." Falco said.

"Are you mad?" Orlando asked.

"If we split up, those crazy vampires will get us one by one." Fara said.

"We have to stay together." Fox stated.

"Good plan." Slippy said.

The five continued to walk through the forest. That was until Fox got a call from Peppy on his communicator.

"What's going on, Peppy?" The vulpine spoke into the communicator.

"Fox!" Peppy's voice rang out, "We're under attack, but don't worry!"

"Who is your attacker?" Fox asked.

"Panther," The old hare said, "and Miyu's with him!"

"Should we come back?!" Falco asked.

"No," General Pepper said, "we'll be fine! Just carry on with what you're doing!"

The call ended.

"Looks like we'll have to get this done as quickly as possible!" Slippy said in fear.

"Agreed!" Orlando said as he took out a stake.

"Let's get 'em!" Fara said as she cracked her knuckles.

The group then ran through the forest, with Star Wolf's death on their minds. However, they were unaware of the explosive trap that was near them. Tripping on one of the wires, Fox caused the trap to explode and scatter everyone in an opposite area.

"Is everyone okay?" The vulpine asked.

Falco, Slippy, Fara, and Orlando raised their hands.

"Good." Fox moaned.

"We're not even hurt." Slippy stated.

Before anyone knew it, Fay appeared out of nowhere and held Falco in her arms.

"Fay, what are you doing here?" The avian groaned in pain.

"I'm just taking you back to the castle." The spaniel whispered, her eyes having a hypnotic look to them, "Do you want to go there?"

"I would love to go there." Falco slurred.

"She's hypnotizing him." Slippy tried to speak.

"Not on my watch!" Orlando said as he ran towards Fay. However, the spaniel flew off before the coyote could stake her in the heart.

"Dammit!" Orlando barked.

"Now we're down to four!" Fara said.

"And with Peppy in trouble," Slippy said, "one could only imagine what will happen next!"

"No matter what happens, I just hope that Star Wolf hasn't hurt their prisoners!" Fox said, "But there's no time for wondering what will happen next, we've got to keep on moving!"

"Agreed, let's go!" Orlando said as he started to run.

"Alright!" Slippy shouted, running behind Orlando.

"Come on, Fox!" Fara said as she ran off.

"I'm coming!" Fox started running as he shouted to the heavens, "We're coming for you Krystal, even if it ends with our deaths!"

Note: Now, it's personal! It's especially personal due to how Star Wolf kidnapped Katt, Bill, Lucy, and Falco (even though Miyu, Krystal, and Fay kidnapped Katt, Lucy, and Falco).
