Another day for Peter Parker at The Daily Bugle. This time Jameson wanted him to take as many shots of Elis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
"Parker I've got an assignment for you. I need you to take photoshoots of Elis Island and the Statue of Liberty for a photobook I'm trying to make" Jameson says. "But it's too far away and there's no way I can get there in a certain amount of time" Peter says. "He's kinda right Jonah. You never know when the next boat will be available to head over to those islands. You should think of another assignment for Peter" Robbie says. "I got an idea. Have Pater take photos of Time Square, Central Park, and every university in the city" Ted recommends. "Nope already had him do those areas" Jameson says. "Or how about a modeling gig or a fashion show?" Betty asks. "Done that already to" Jameson says.
The news comes on and a reporter who is not Felicia reports the news on Vulture's plan in on the Statue of Liberty. "This just in the Vulture has recently kidnapped Gwen Stacy after breaking in to the modeling studio and has taken her to the top of the Statue of Liberty where they await Spider-Man to show up" reporter says. "Then I must head down to the Statue of Liberty to take pictures since Spider-Man will depend on it" Peter says. "Then what are you waiting for get down there!" Jameson demands. "Right boss I'm on it" Peter says.
A crowd of policeman, helicopters flying over the statue, and a crowd of it's citizens gather around the statue where Gwen is on the top frightened and pleading for help. "Spider-Man! Where are you?! I need you now!" Gwen screams. Then she sees Spider-Man hanging on to a helicopter with his web. This makes her proud to know she will be saved. "Thank God you're here" Gwen sighed in relief. "Let's get you down from here before Vulture shows up and kills us" Spider-Man says. After freeing her from the slippery stuff and setting her free from the rope, his Spider sense goes off while hearing the sound of Vulture from the helicopters. "Oh no" Gwen says. Vulture makes it to the top of the statue and knocks both Spider-Man and Gwen out. Vulture laughs evilly while making it on the top with his feet. "Hey Spidey" Vulture says. "What do you want this time buzzard?" Spider-Man asks. "A tale of two heroes to fall to it's death" Vulture says. "What are you talking about?" Gwen asks.
Metal balls are thrown from across at Vulture and Black Cat appears as she hangs from a helicopter. She makes it to the top and knocks out Vulture in one kick. "Glad you were able to make it" Spider-Man says. "Why wouldn't I at a time like this?" Black Cat asks. "Black Cat. You've come just in time to die with these two fellas" Vulture says. "Not in my book" Black Cat says.
