"NO! I do not want my father involved in this investigation." Ziva yelled getting angry.

"My father never cared about me when I was in Mossad. When I needed help, he would ignore me and tell me to do it myself. He had his chance to look after me and he wasted it. Tell him that I do not want him involved and if he argues with you or the director I will cut all communication from him and I will never talk to him again!" Ziva demanded. Her heart monitor getting faster and faster. Talking that many words made her out of breath. Though the adrenaline made her not realize it.

"Ziva. I think you should tell him that yourself. Later on." Gibbs said calmly.

"I will. Give me your cell phone. They took mine from me." Ziva demanded not listening to the 'later on' part.

"Not right now Ziva. You need to stay calm until you're better. Then you can argue afterwards." Gibbs knew it was not healthy to stress more about it and kind of regretted telling her about the investigation when he did.

"But you just said-"

"I said later on." Gibbs interrupted.

"Hmpphh." Ziva said crossing her arms in a very childish manner.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"Ziva said that she doesn't want her father involved."

"Jethro, give her some time. She's sick and isn't thinking straight."

"Jen, She told me loud and clear. She doesn't want anything to do with her father!" Gibbs argued appalled by Jenny's oblivion.

"Like I said. She is not thinking straight. Give her time to make a true decision."

"Ziva just made her move here in NCIS. And look who pops up to finally help his daughter when she needs it?"

Jenny didn't know what to say.

"She told me that her father used to make her solve her problems by herself. Director David obviously doesn't like the idea of her daughter moving here to D.C and wants her back in Israel weather it makes her happy or not. Hell, he could be the one who tried to kill her. This may be a way to lure her back." Gibbs said, fuming.

"You don't know that. Keep in mind that Ziva is all Eli has left."

"Eli?" Gibbs eyed her suspiciously.

"Director David." She nodded correcting herself.

"Why do you care so much about Director David? Huh?"

"I'm feeling like you're interrogating me Jethro."

"I am. Director Shepard." Gibbs said her name in a mocking tone. He couldn't believe she was the Director of NCIS at this very moment.

"I feel bad for him."

"Why?"

"Ziva is all he has left. I know how it feels like to lose the last member of your family."

"You think I don't!?" Gibbs said flashing back to his daughter, wife and mother. He felt like his father didn't really care about him either. (A/N: But boy is he wrong. P.S Jackson Gibbs is one of the sweetest characters I know).

Jenny wished she hadn't said that knowing the memories that it could bring back to Gibbs.

"Fine. I'll go talk to her later because I need to hear here say it myself."

"You don't even need her to say it! You mention her father in anyway and she will frown." Wow she is oblivious. He thought

"Why do I feel like you have a gut feeling about Director David..."

"Jen I do. What a coincidence that her father randomly shows up to help when she leaves Israel. Knowing how raw and vulnerable she is in the condition she is in he could just as easily send a hitman to 'try' kill her then, pop up to help her. Make her feel like he actually cares."

"Jethro you lost me."

"Fine if you don't believe it then I'll figure it out myself."

Jenny scoffed

"You can't even work your damn email. How do you expect to find out what Mossad is up to." Jenny said quietly to herself.

"What did you just say?" Gibbs came back giving Jenny the evil eye.

"Anyone ever tell you your hearing can be such a pain?" Jenny Joked

Gibbs rolled his eyes and left Jenny's office.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"Jethro!" Ducky yelled relieved.

"Anthony can be such a pain sometimes." Ducky complained.

"Haha Duck, wait till David gets here."

"Oh yes. Young Ziva. I haven't been to see her yet." Ducky told Gibbs hoping he would let him leave.

"How's Tony?" Gibbs asked ignoring Ducky's statement.

"He's doing fine. He just needs plenty of rest and to stay hydrated. You cannot allow him to go home either tomorrow or the day after. Preferably the next day to be on the safe side. He may go back to work in about a week and a half. After a month he can go back to doing his field work."

"Alright Duck I'll tell him." Gibbs sighed knowing it won't be easy telling Tony he can't do field work for the next 30 days.

"Have fun Jethro!" Ducky said cheerfully and sarcastically as he left.

"Yeah." Gibbs said quietly.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"Hey DiNozzo."

"Hey boss. Can I go home?" Tony asked cheerfully.

"Soon. You can go home soon."

"When is Soon?" Tony asked curiously.

"The day after tomorrow is soon. Complain, and I'll make you stay for another week." Gibbs warned

Tony winced at the threat. He was about to complain when Gibbs said that.

"Fiiiinnne." Tony gave in reluctantly.

"Good boy." Gibbs left hoping to avoid telling Tony he can't go back to work anytime soon when he heard:

"BOSSS?"

"What?" Gibbs asked, pissed

"Can I ask a question?"

Gibbs paused and took a deep breath.

"Shoot."

"When can I go back to work?"

Gibbs knew it was coming sooner or later.

"Not in a while." Gibbs said as he prepared to leave.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"In a month." Gibbs said quickly and left the room swithly.

"BOSSSSSSSSSSS." Tony whined.

Gibbs ignored him and went to to work on his boat.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

Ducky thought it wasn't such a bad idea to go visit dear Ziva.

He drove from Gibbs' house to Bethesda and walked from the carpark to Ziva's room.

"Hello Ducky, can I go yet?" Ziva asked hopefully

"I'm afraid not quite yet. But I'm sure you can soon."

"The last time somebody said that to me was 4 days ago Ducky. I feel FINE." Ziva said annoyed.

She had been stuck in the hospital for way too long. She had two random men standing in front of her room at all times and the nurses keep on coming in every two hours to stick a needle in her or poke at her some more. Though they also keep on telling her to get some rest.

"I'm sorry my dear. But your lungs need to be strong enough to tolerate the air outside of here and they need to make sure you are fit to look after yourself."

"Hahahaha. Look after myself." The laugh made a cough clog up in her chest. She took a long sip of the water in front of her.

"I will be staying with Gibbs after I get discharged Ducky." She hated thinking about it.

"Another few days of prison." She mumbled to herself.

"You will be home before you know it my dear. Trust me." Ducky sort of lied.

"Yeah yeah." Ziva whined sarcastically.

Home before I know it? Might be right. She though.

A/N: Chapter 10. Yay! Don't worry though. It's not finished yet. Thanks for reading. :)
