I made a Pinterest board for this fic. It has a section about Betty's style, My OC's styles and what Betty's social media would look like
Anyway, here's the link, if it doesn't work then either search fanfic116 in accounts or When it all comes crashing down in boards.

Chapter 10
The doctor, who Betty found out was called doctor Laine, a colleague of Cassie's in the ICU, started to explain treatment and the future to Betty.
"So, in terms of the facial injuries you'll be fine except for some scarring."
Cassie sighed with relief.
"The stomach will be difficult, there will be a lot of random pains and I recommend meal replacements instead of food, this will also help with the rapid weight loss as a result of the coma."
"where can I get these meal replacements?" Cassie asked.
"all pharmacies have them and they aren't too expensive." Cassie nodded
"The hand will be tricky but we will keep the cast on for a while, and afterwards a brace and intense physical therapy you may regain most of the abilities such as grip, writing and control but not for quite some time and as Betty is right handed it will be difficult for her to get used to doing thing with the left hand" The doctor explained.
Cassie nodded. Betty remained still and in a staring contest with the ceiling, but listening at the same time.
"and now the knee. I believe Betty will need some future surgery's, checkups once a week, for the knee and hand, in a month we will take the cast off as its already been on for a month. After that a big brace for about a year or two, with the crutches. And perhaps one day without the crutches, throughout all of this intense physical therapy. but I don't see you walking with absolutely any support for a long while" Doctor Laine confessed. "In a few hours, we are going to move her onto a ward and a psychologist is going to come down and determine her mental state" Cassie nodded. Doctor Laine left. Cassie's phone buzzed.
"it's Wyatt's parents. They're glad to hear you're doing better. And the funeral is going to be in two days. They want to know if you'll wright the eulogy"
"okay" Betty said with a monotone voice
"you'll need something to wear, that'll fit over your casts"
"okay"
"have any ideas?"
"His hoodie" She whispered
"that black one?" Betty nodded "okay, what about pants, I don't know if anything will fit. I'll bring a few pairs of pyjamas, you could wear them under?"
"okay"
"are you ready to see your friends?" Cassie asked
"they'll be coming soon, they come and wait every day after school"
"what If they blame me, they knew him first. It's my fault"
"I promise you that they don't"
"does my mom know what happened?" Betty asked
"I couldn't get a hold of her" Betty nodded knowingly "fuck her Betts, I'm here"
"thank you"
Cassie went home and packed a bag for Betty, pyjama's and comfy clothes, toiletries, the promise ring that was in the bag of personal stuff from the hospital, and things to keep Betty entertained such as her phone, books and headphones. While at the hospital Betty tried to write for Wyatt but couldn't without breaking down.
When Cassie went back Betty had already been moved to a room on a ward. Betty's friends were waiting outside in the waiting room.
"can we see her?" Roma asked
"yeah, but not for long and try not to mention Wyatt"
They all flinched at the name. they all seemed miserable, not wild and happy like usual. They walked in hesitantly. Betty was laid on her back. A heart monitor next to the bed and an IV pole. A blanket was over her legs, her arm in a sling attached to the IV pole keeping it elevated. Her usual beautify skin littered with blotches of purple and a sewn-up lip.
"Hey Betts" Elijah greeted
"hey" her voice rough and empty of emotion.
"so uhh how are you?" Winter asked.
"fucked" she stated "why are you being so weird" she asked coughing a little.
"how are we supposed to act?" Olly asked.
"well I don't know, at least don't talk like to me like I'm a child "
"okay, so, how are the injuries looking?"
"bad, are you guys going to the funeral?"
"of corse"
"do you blame me?"
"no of Corse not" they seemed genuine but she still had doubts.
Cassie came in telling the kids, that they would have to leave as a doctor was coming for an important reason.
"okay, love you"
"bye"
"text us tonight"
Cassie helped Betty sit up, a throbbing pain started in her stomach. It felt like a really bad bruise. The psychiatrist spoke to Betty without Cassie in the room, then went in to the hallway to talk to her.
"obviously there's concerns, usually people in car crashes get PTSD and fear cars. But also, the fact that she's lost her boyfriend"
Cassie nodded "I would suggest I continue to talk and observe her for a while"
"okay, thank you"
