I hit a little bit of writers block on this chapter, and didn't really know where I wanted to take this story next. Anyways, this is what I came up with, so enjoy! The song kinda fits, really struggled on that too... Also huge thanks for 1,000+ views!

PSA- Shelley didn't come live with them in season 2 (it'll make sense later)

It was Thanksgiving morning and there was a knock at the door of the Taylor house. Tami was putting the finishing touches on the Thanksgiving feast, and Eric and Julie were doing some last minute tidying up around the house. Eric left his task of setting the table to answer the door.

"Hey Tim and Billy! Come on in," Eric greeted Tim and Billy who were on the other side of the door. The two followed Eric into the house.

"Oh Tim, you didn't have to bring anything!" Tami exclaimed when she noticed the pumpkin pie in Tim's arms. Tim responded saying it was no big deal, and greeted Julie with a big hug. Eric turned the TV to the Thanksgiving Day Parade and invited Tim and Billy to take a seat.

A short while later, there was another knock at the door, and this time Julie answered the door.

"Oh my gosh look at you Julie!" The person behind the door - Tami's sister Shelley - squealed enveloping her in a hug.

"Hey Aunt Shelley!" Julie returned.

"Hello Shelley. Let me take these bags to the guest room," Eric greeted grabbing her bags and heading down the hallway. Tami left her tasks in the kitchen to greet her sister.

"Aunt Shelley, this is my boyfriend Tim, and his brother Billy. Billy and Tim, this is my Aunt Shelley," Julie introduced. Shelley had made her way into the living room and took a seat in the chair.

"Dinners ready," Tami announced. "could ya'll help me put this food out?" Everyone grabbed a dish and added it to the table, the dinner table was filled with an enormous amount of food for the small group. They each found a seat around the Taylor's dinner Table and enjoyed the home cooked meal.

After dinner, Eric and Tim turned on the Dallas Cowboy's game. Julie had taken a seat next to Tim on the couch and was now snuggled against Tim fast asleep. Billy had left right after dinner. Tami and Shelley were catching up over a glass of wine in the kitchen.

"So how long have they dated for?" Shelley asked quietly referring to Tim and Julie.

"Mm just about a year now," Tami answered. Wow it's really been that long? Tami realized

"He seems like a good kid," Shelley commented.

"He has became a really good kid," Tami agreed. "He's great to Julie." She took a sip of her wine and thought about how far Tim had came the past couple years.

"How are you handling all this?" Shelley inquired referring to Julie's pregnancy.

"I'm still trying to wrap my head around it," Tami replied with a weak smile while reaching for the bottle of wine to refill her glass. "I thought I'd have longer to mentally prepare for my daughter to be pregnant, but here we are. I will say, they are handling it very maturely and Tim has been here for Julie through it all so far." Shelley didn't really know what to say, she couldn't imagine going through what both her niece and sister are having to go through.

"She's just 17..." Tami added with a sigh. "She's going to miss out on so many things."

"Yes, but she's also going to get to experience some amazing things. She will get to hold her baby girl in her arms and watch her grow up. You always say that becoming a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to you," Shelley responded.

"Becoming a mother is an amazing experience, but she's only 17 she still has so much to learn and see and do."

"So support her, help her out and let her get to experience those things."

"I've had girls come in my office in this same situation, but I never thought my daughter would be in this position." Tami stated bluntly.

"And what do you tell the mothers of those girls to do?" Shelley asked.

"To support their daughters,"

"So, take your own advice Tami," Shelley advised.

Just a simple, fluffy chapter to set up for the next couple! I feel like Tami has gotten the short end of the stick in this story, not getting much attention compared to Tim, Julie and Coach Taylor so I wanted to add some more with her.
