Chapter 10: Fixing Saurus Rock
As Littlefoot, Mario, and the rest got to the canyon where Gary fell down, Luigi saw getting twitchy.
(Mario) It's time to face your fear Luigi. We're doing this for The Great Mushroom Valley Kingdom.
(Luigi) Uhh. Ok.
Luigi did her best to stay calm as they looked around for Gary.
(Littlefoot) Now where is he?
(Cera) Look. There he is. Right where he landed.
Cera was right. Gary was still out cold where he landed.
(Daisy) Alright. We need to pick just one tooth off of him. Then Toadsworth will be able to reunite with his friends. Also, Doc and Rooter can stay in The Great Mushroom Valley Kingdom.
(Littlefoot) Here we go.
They made their way down the ledge on a nero path. Once or twice they almost slipped off the path. But they made it to the bottom safely. When they got in front of Gary, Wario grabbed a rock and threw it on Gary's face.
(Wario) He's dead alright.
(Luigi) He looks dead.
(Littlefoot) He smells dead.
(Mario) We need a stick to get his mouth open.
So they went to find a stick to open Gary's mouth. Unaware that Screech, Thud, Strut, Ozzy, Ichy, Dil, and the Koopalings were watching.
(Screech) You think Gary is still alive?
(Ozzy) No one can survive a fall that high. Not even Gary.
(Thud) But just to be sure.
Thud walked over to Gary and opened his right eye carefully without stabbing his claws in it. Gary then started to move.
(Gary-Jack Biter) I'm not dead.
(Dil) Good. But those kids think you are dead. So pretended that you're dead so they can get inside you. But let them live so Red Claw can finish them himself.
(Gary-Jack Biter) I will. I won't let Red Claw down. In fact, go find him. He may want to deal with this personally.
(Thud) Yes sir.
Thud then went back to the others as they saw him coming.
(Strut) Uhh. He's still alive?
(Thud) He is indeed still alive. And where's Ichy?
(Screech) He went to find Red Claw and bring him here. He should be back soon.
Of course, Ichy wasn't gone that long. He just now came back.
(Thud) Did you find Red Claw?
(Ichy) Yes. He should be here any time now.
Then they saw them coming back to Gary. Mario had a stick on his hand. He used it to open Gary's mouth and yet, it still had saliva inside.
(Waluigi) Ew. This is so gross.
(Mario) I'm with you. Also Wario's with us. He'd do this really easy.
(Littlefoot) Well it's just us. It may be gross but we can do this.
(Mario) Right.
(Mario) We have to do this like any other Lone Warrior can do.
So they got inside Gary's mouth and looked around for the perfect tooth to pick out of Gary.
(Luigi) They're all the same sizes.
(Wario) Well let's just pick one. I think one of the front teeth will do.
Wario punched the tooth as hard as he could and came out and fell onto the ground.
(Wario) Boy. That was hard.
(Littlefoot) Good thing there's a breeze in here.
(Luigi) Hang on. We're inside a dead Sharp-tooth. How can there be a breeze in here?
(Peach) Unless Gary is breathing. But if he's breathing, then that means.
(All) He's alive.
They ran out of Gary's mouth and grabbed the tooth. Then ran away from Gary as he started to chase them. However, they ran under a big rock and Gary couldn't get to them when they got out the other side.
(Mario) That was close. Now let's get this tooth to Saurus Rock so we can fix it.
But then they heard footsteps coming. But it couldn't be Gary. Luigi then saw who the footsteps belonged to.
(Luigi) Guys. We got a bigger problem. Look. It's Red Claw and Bowser.
Luigi was right. Red Claw and Bowser were heading their way.
(Red Claw) It's over kids. You'll never fix Saurus Rock. The Great Mushroom Valley Kingdom will forever have bad luck. Nowhere is safe for you now.
Littlefoot, Mario, and the rest didn't have the strange to fight Red Claw after they picked that tooth out of Gary. And they couldn't run away because they were tired from escaping Gary.
(Littlefoot) Is it over?
(Mario) I think I'm done being a Lone Warrior.
(Luigi) Us too.
(Littlefoot) Count me in.
But before Red Claw could go for the kill, a long tail came out of no wear and struck Red Claw on his belly.
(Mario) Doc?
But when turned around, he thought that it wasn't Doc's tail but someone else's tail.
(Mario) Grandpa Longneck.
(Grandpa Longneck) Run everyone.
They did what they were told and ran away with Wario holding onto the tooth.
(Peach) Hey guys. You think you can stick this tooth on to Saurus Rock?
(Mario) Hmm. The chances of sticking that on Saurus Rock with glue is 89.9%. We'll see what I can do.
(Luigi) Uhh guys. Look.
Everyone saw that Gary had smashed through the big rock. He was heading for Grandpa Longneck until a tail wrapped around him and knocked him on the ground. Mario then saw who it was.
(Mario) Doc.
(Doc) Hurry kids. Get to Saurus Rock as fast as you can and don't stop for anything.
With that, the gang ran to Saurus Rock as fast as they could wail Grandpa Longneck and Doc kept Red Claw and Gary bissie.
(Cera) So we need to stick this onto Saurus Rock. And the time of bad luck will be over.
(?) I don't think so.
The gang looked ahead saw that the Egg-eaters were blocking their path.
(Cera) Get out of the way.
(Ozzy) Not until you give us that tooth.
(Tickles) NO!
(Ozzy) YES!
But before anyone could start attacking, the rest of Mario's friends came out of nowhere and that surprised the Egg-eaters.
(Mario) Great timing. We needed some help.
Strut was so shocked that he looked at the others.
(Strut) How many friends do you have?
(Ozzy) That's a lot of friends.
(Rider) So that's Strut and Ozzy.
(Mario) Yep. That's them.
Then everyone heard someone roaring. Someone that's big and though. Mario saw who it was.
(Mario) Topps.
That's right. Topps was charging at the Egg-eaters. They moved out of the way in time and ready to use a pokemon move. Cera knew what was gonna happen next and used thunderbolt on the Egg-eaters which got them paralized by electricity.
(Topps) Nice job Cera. Now hurry. Get that tooth on Saurus Rock.
But before the gang could start running, the rest of Red Claw's army came out of nowhere. But then a clubtail tail came and attacked one of the Sharp-teeth. And Mario saw who it was.
(Mario) Kosh.
(Kosh) Run guys. You got to get to Saurus Rock.
(Goggles) Guys. We'll stay here and help Topps and Kosh hold them off. You get to Saurus Rock right now.
The gang did what they were told and ran to Saurus Rock. At that moment, Petrie flew up to see if any Sharp-teeth were guarding Saurus Rock. And yet he came back down with a panic look on his face?
(Luigi) What is it Petrie?
(Petrie) Flying Sharp-teeth guarding Saurus Rock.
Everyone saw that Petrie was right. 6 flying Sharp-teeth was circling around Saurus Rock.
(Ducky) Red Claw and Bowser really does not want us to fix Saurus Rock. No, no, no.
(Mario) Guys. You keep them busy. Me and Luigi will go and put the tooth.
(Cera) Mario.
(Mario) Don't worry. I'll be ok.
With that, the gang started fighting the Flying Sharp-teeth weil Mario and Luigi ran with the tooth on his hands to Saurus Rock. However, he looked at the Flying Sharp-teeth to make sure they didn't see him. But only 5 of them flew to the others. The 6th one was focused on Mario. Mario knew what it was doing. It wanted him to fight it close to Saurus Rock so it can be damaged completely.
(Mario) I gotta get him away from Saurus Rock. But how?
The answer to Mario's question came as an arrow came out of nowhere struck the Flying Sharp-tooth on his wing which made him fall to the ground. Mario saw where the arrow came from.
(Mario) Toadsworth.
That's right. Toadsworth did the job of taking down the Flying Sharp-tooth.
(Toadsworth) You're all clear Master Mario. Now hurry and get that tooth on Saurus Rock.
Mario started to climb up Saurus Rock. When he got to the stone-teeth, he took out some glue and poured some on the spot where the other tooth fell off. He then placed the tooth on the spot and the glue held it in place.
(Mario) There. Good as new.
(?) But not for long.
Mario saw where the voice came from. It was Screech and Thud.
(Screech) You may have fixed Saurus Rock but won't stay fixed because we're breaking it down until it's nothing but pebbles.
However, before they had a chance, Rooter came out of nowhere and swung his tail on Screech and Thud which knocked them back.
(Mario) Boy do you have a habit of showing up in time.
(Rooter) Indeed I do Mario.
Of course, Rooter knocked Screech and Thud on the back right on a rock which knocked them out cold. The rest of the gang did the same to the Flying Sharp-teeth.
(Mario) Mission complete. Saurus Rock is fixed.
(Cera) Finally. Now this lousy bad luck will be over.
Just then, the rest of Mario's friends came with Topps and Kosh.
(Mario) Hey Guys. When did you get here?
(Headphones) Not too long ago. Those Sharp-teeth got what they deserved.
Headphones was right. All of the Sharp-teeth and the Egg-eaters were out cold.
(Mario) Are they dead?
(Kosh) No. Just knocked out. It will take days to recover.
Penny then walked over to Saurus Rock and poured one of her chemicals on it.
(Littlefoot) Uhh. What are you doing Penny?
(Penny) It's my indestructibility that was a success weeks ago. If my cowcukatens are correct, it will keep Saurus Rock from ever braking again.
Just then, everyone heard footsteps. Mario saw that it was Red Claw and he was coming this way really fast.
(Red Claw) It's over. Say good-bye to Saurus Rock.
Red Claw charged at Saurus Rock with full speed and ramed his head on it. But Saurus Rock didn't break at all. Red Claw got so mad that he started scratching Saurus Rock and tried biting it. But even that didn't work.
(Wario) Well Penny. It turns out your experiment is a success.
Penny smiled at Wario's comment. Red Claw got so tired from trying to break Saurus Rock that he was too weak to fight now. At that moment, the rest of the army, the egg-eaters, the eyes and the teeth, Bowser, and the koopalings got knocked out. But all of them were too weak to fight.
(Kosh) Well. What do you know? I was wrong.
(Red Claw) This isn't over kids.
With that, the army left Saurus Rock at the same time as Grandpa Longneck and Doc showed up.
(Littlefoot) Grandpa. Doc. You're alright. Where's Gary?
(Grandpa Longneck) We won't be dealing with him anymore. When Red Claw got away, me and Doc knocked Gary onto a rock pillar and used our tails to pull it and it fell right on top of him.
(Doc) And now he's dead.
The gang smiled at that comment. With that, everyone went back to The Great Mushroom Valley Kingdom while the others went back to theirs.
