A few days had past since the latest events had occurred. Tigress' head want spinning as much as it was the days prior. She had been meditating a lot and was actually starting to accept it rather than deny it.

Everyone was in the training hall doing as should, and Po had been actually been doing better at corrections and giving orders.

After they were done training, Shifu gathered all six of the warriors together. He had news to tell all of them, especially Tigress.

"Now, as all of you have heard of the severe endangerment of South China tigers, I have more news to add to that." Shifu said.

They all eyed Tigress, but then looked back to Shifu. Everyone was on edge and was wondering of it was it good or bad news.

"What is it, Master?" asked Viper.

"Wait! Don't tell us yet!" Po yelled.

Everyone looked over at the panda who had gained their attention with looks of surprise and confusion.

"First, is it good or bad news?" Po asked sheepishly.

"As Oogway once told me, 'There's just news. There's no good or bad.' I would like to answer you the same way, Po."

"But, how is there not good or bad news?! If someone died, wouldn't you call it bad?" the panda rambled. "I mean, I guess if you thought it was good-"

"Po!"

"Oops, sorry."

Shifu sighed before continuing.

"There are records of tigers living near Shandong. We are going to travel there to gather information about the cause of the endangerment, and if we can, try to help them with whatever problems they have."

Gasps were heard from all around. All warriors were excited to her about the travel. But, Tigress was the most excited to hear of the news.

She was finally going to see another one of her kind, and if they could, all of them were going to help South China tigers from going extinct.

"We leave in a week. You are excused."

"Yes, Master." they all said as they bowed.

"You're leaving?!" both Li Shan and Mr. Ping asked in disbelief.

"I know, I know, calm down Dads." Po said raising his arms defensively.

"But, Son? I just got you back, don't you want to stay?" Li Shan pleaded.

"Yes, I do. But, this is something that will really mean a lot to Tigress."

"And why's that?!" Mr. Ping questioned angrily.

"Were going to Shandong to see if we can help the tigers recover from endangerment." Po explained.

"Oh yeah, she told me about that." Li said.

"Wait. She told you?"

"Well, we both happened to be wandering outside when everyone was already asleep, and she told me about it."

"But that doesn't make sense. Why would she tell you? She like, barely knows you." Po said getting confused.

Li shrugged his shoulders.

"So," Mr. Ping began. "how long will you be gone?"

Po had to think for a little. He didn't remember Shifu every saying when they would come back from their trip.

"Hard to say, Dad. I would have to ask Master Shifu."

"Oh, Po. You know I hate it when you have to leave like this." the goose complained sadly.

"I know, I'm sorry."

A baby panda rushed into 'Dragon Warrior Noodles Tofu' screaming with joy and laughter as a female tigress followed. Tigress rushed over to Lei Lei and picked her up.

"Got you!" Tigress teased and smiled at her.

"No, no, no! Stripey Baby!" Lei Lei laughed as she squirmed around in Tigress' arms.

The three males looked over at the scene. They knew Tigress was great with the baby panda and it was always fun to watch them.

Po had never seen Tigress smile so much before she met Lei Lei. No one expected someone as tough as Tigress to befriend a small little panda.

"Cuddles!" Lei Lei cheered after she noticed Po.

Tigress put the panda down and let her run off to go greet Po, or, Cuddles. She smiled as she watched her run over to him.

"Hey, Lei Lei!" Po said as he picked her up.

Lei Lei smiled and giggled at him, before she turned her attention back to Tigress. She waved her paw up and down to the tigress and she approached them.

"Stripey Baby!" Lei Lei called as she continued waving.

Tigress repeated the same motion back to her and waved. Tigress couldn't explain what utter joy this child had brought to her.

"Stripey Baby beautiful! Right?" Lei Lei said turning to Po.

"Y-Yeah..." Po agreed as he stuttered nervously.

Po was caught off guard as he saw Tigress smirk at him, making him blush underneath his fur.

"W-What?"

Tigress opened her mouth to answer him, but was cut off when she heard someone's stomach growl. She looked to Po annoyed and crossed her arms.

"Hey, don't look at me like that! It wasn't me!" Po shouted innocently.

Tigress looked to Li Shan.

"Wasn't me!" Li chuckled.

Her eyes drifted to Lei Lei and smiled as the panda laughed out of guilt. Li Shan started laughing and out his arms over his stomach.

"Is someone hungry?" Mr. Ping smiled. "Come here, I'll get you some dumplings."

Po transferred the small panda to the ground and let her go back to the kitchen with his goose dad.

"So, you doing okay?" Po asked Tigress.

"Yes, I've been doing better." Tigress replied. "Especially now that I know there's a chance we can help."

"How did they get so endangered in the first place?" Li Shan asked Tigress curiously.

"I'm not sure. Hopefully we'll find out on our travel."

"Ugh. That stupid travel! Why can't you guys at the Jade Palace ever keep my son in one place?!" Mr. Ping ranted as he came around the corner with Lei Lei.

"Mr. Ping calm down. It's not like they're going off to battle." Li Shan reasoned with him.

Mr. Ping looked at him, then back to Tigress, now holding a guilty expression. He shook his head.

"I'm sorry. I just get so worried about my boy." the goose said sadly.

"So do I." said Li. "But, he's going with Master Tigress, so he'll be fine."

Tigress looked over at the mention of her name. Li Shan smiled at her. The panda dad knew what all she could do. He knew from his son going on and on about 'awesome' she was.

"I guess." said the goose.

Tigress felt something cling on to her leg. She looked down to see that Lei Lei had wrapped her arms and legs around her. The baby panda giggled and Tigress smiled.

"You know, you'd make a great mother one day, Tigress." Li Shan smiled.

Tigress looked over at Li Shan in surprise. Though she knew she would never be able to have kids of her own, the thought of being with Lei Lei made her smile. She loved being with her.

The baby panda was now trying to crawl up her leg. She would jump and grab on, only to slide back down again. Lei Lei did this multiple times before Tigress decided to say something.

"Do you need a little help?" the feline smiled as she brought the panda up to her shoulders.

Lei Lei yawned and leaned into Tigress and rested her head on her shoulder. She knew it was about time for the little pandas nap time.

"Aww..." Li, Mr. Ping, and Po cooed at the sight.

Tigress couldn't help but give an ever so slight smile from their reactions, but soon went back to her serious expression.

"Excuse me, I must go now." she bowed and headed out the exit of the restaurant with Lei Lei.

"Isn't that sweet?" asked Mr. Ping softly.

Po smiled as he was still lost in his thoughts about a certain tiger. Li laughed at his son for doing so.
