Episode 08: Grocery run in the Mall!
-Pokémon Center, Hau'oli City, Mele mele, Alola-
It was a lovely morning as our heroes started to rise and shine inside a building with a red roof.
Elio: Man, I slept great!
Amoka: Ruffrock!
Hau: Yep! I almost didn't want to wake up.
Female voice: Good morning, you three!
The three kids turned around and saw a nurse standing in front of them.
She has pink hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. Her hair is tied around in a ring behind her head. She wears a pink and white nurse outfit that suits for Alola's hot weather.
Lillie: Thank you, Nurse you. It was really nice of you to let us sleep here.
The Nurse, now known as Joy, only gave a friendly smile at them.
Nurse Joy: There's no need to thank. The Pokémon Center also serves as a place for Pokémon Trainers to rest for the night.
Elio: I've already heard that Pokémon Centers does that back at home. Although…
Elio looked around and saw that there was also a cafe and a shop inside the building.
Elio: This is the first time I see that a Pokémon Center has places like this inside.
Nurse Joy: There are a few Regions who do that. Here you can also enjoy a nice meal or breakfast, and you can also buy stuff here at the shop too for your travels.
Elio: Then it's best we buy some things then. Right, Lillie?
The pretty blond girl nodded at him. Elio then noticed two Pokémon approaching Nurse Joy. One of them is someone he's familiar with but the other is a Pokémon he has never seen before.
Elio: Are these the Pokémon that help you, Nurse Joy?
The Kantonian boy pointed to the two Pokémon that are standing beside her.
The big one is an ovoid shaped creature with a pink upper body and a white lower body. It has hair-like curls on either side of its head. White, wing-like tufts grow from its hips and shoulders, creating the impression of a dress. It has stubby arms and feet that are pink and are lacking any digits. A small, pink pouch on its belly holds a single egg. In its head is a nurse hat similar to what Nurse Joy is wearing.
The other is a very small light green creature. Its main body has an orange oval face and light green oval eyes. On top of its head is a long, fluffy green crest that curls slightly over its face and extends backwards. A thin blue thread is attached to the back of its head, and has several flowers attached to it. The flowers are purple, white, red, and yellow. And it's the last flower with its two short arms. On either side of the main crest is a smaller, pale yellow tuft. Just like the other one, it's wearing a very small nurse hat that fits its little head.
Nurse Joy: Yes, these Pokémon are called Blissey and Comfey.
The two Nurse Pokémon greeted the kids.
Nurse Blissey: Blissey!
Nurse Comfey: Comfey!
Rotomdex then made his presence known as he checked their data.
Rotom: Looks like it's my cue!
He started with Blissey first.
Rotom: Blissey, the Happiness Pokémon. A Normal Type. The most ferocious Pokémon becomes calm after they eat Blissey's egg, since it's said it's filled with happiness.
Next he went to Comfey.
Rotom: Comfey, the Posy Picker Pokémon. A Fairy Type. Their highly nutritious vine revitalizes the flowers they carry, giving their scent a relaxing effect.
Comfey flew up ahead and gave Elio her flowers around his neck. The boy immediately became relaxed once he smelled the flower's scent.
Elio: Ahh… Comfey's a perfect Pokémon for taking care of others…
Later, Elio, Lillie, and Hau were all having breakfast. They were all eating a sandwich they brought from the Cafe (grilled sandwich since Lillie likes them). What they have for drink is Pinap Juice while Lillie curiously is Roserade Tea.
Elio: So… what do we do next after we hit the road, Lillie?
Hau: Yeah, you said that there are some things we need to take care off first.
Lillie put her tea down as she looked at the two boys.
Lillie: We have to buy some stuff first since we're going to be sleeping out in the wilderness and far away from civilization. We need food for the road, cooking ware, a table, food plates, sleeping bags, tents, lanterns and flashlights…
Hau and Elio were surprised at the amount of things they need to get.
Hau: Wow! That's too many things!
Elio: How are we gonna carry all of that with us?
Lillie: Don't worry about that part. There's a way to bring them all with us. You'll see.
Elio: Okay… but where are gonna buy that stuff then?
-Hau'oli Mall, MeleMele, Alola-
Lillie, Elio, and Hau, as well as their Pokémon, now stood in front of Hau'oli Mall. The biggest mall shop in the City.
Lillie: This Hau'oli Mall, we can find all the things we need here.
Elio and Amoka were awed at how big the place is.
Elio: Wow. The only mall I ever visited was at Celadon Department Store where my Mom bought me clothes there.
Lillie turned to Elio as she asked him a question.
Lillie: Elio, do you pick out all your own clothes?
Elio: Sometimes. My Mom let me choose the clothes I wanted if it suits me.
Lillie: I see… you must have a great sense of style then. I love the way that you dress. I… I always just wore the clothes that my Mother wanted me to wear. I don't really know what kind of thing would suit me…
Elio noted the depressed tone on Lillie's voice. He looked at her clothes and noted that she looked beautiful wearing it.
Elio: If I say, despite white not being a color it does suit you.
Lillie was surprised that Elio said such words as she blushed a little. Elio started to blush as well when he realized what he just said.
Elio: I mean… you can add another color if you want! Blue or pink maybe…
Elio and Lillie looked away at each other, still blushing a little.
Hau: Hey you guys!
Elio and Lillie snapped out of it as they turned to Hau, who was close at the entrance.
Hau: What are you guys waiting for? Let's start this shopping spree!
Lillie, Elio, and their Pokémon followed Hau inside. What no one was noticing was that Nebby peeked out of the bag and looked curiously at the place they were going.
Nebby: Cos?
A while later, Elio, Lillie, and Hau got all the stuff they needed. Three tents, one of each different color. Pink, blue, and orange. Sleeping bags for each of them. Cooking ware, a table and plates, as well as seats for them to sit on. Now there is one question about this.
Hau: How are we gonna bring all of this with us?!
Elio has to agree with Hau as there is too much stuff that they have bought.
Elio: I have to agree with Hau, there's no way we can bring all of this with us.
?: That wouldn't be a problem.
The three kids turned around as they saw a female worker approaching them.
Female Worker: Thanks to the recent new technology, It is now possible to store these gears inside special Pokéballs.
Elio and Hau were confused at this as this is the first time they were hearing this.
Hau: Store them inside Pokeballs?
Elio: Is that even possible?
Female Worker: It is now. As you already know, Pokeballs can store Pokémon inside of them, even bigger and heavier ones like a Snorlax, to smaller size. Thanks to the work of the Aether Foundation, it is now possible to do this with objects after researching it on Pokémon that use held items. Let me show you a demonstration.
The female worker then showed the two boys three Pokeballs with the top being lime green, as well as having a certain yellow symbol on it.
Female Worker: Watch this.
She picked one of the Pokeballs and pointed it at the tent. With a click the tent was sucked inside the Pokeball to the shocked looks of the two kids and their Pokémon.
Elio and Hau: Wow!
She then did the same thing with the cooking ware and the food plates, impressing the kids even more.
Female Worker: These are called Aetherballs. So what do you think?
The two boys and their Pokémon were seriously impressed by this.
Elio: It's incredible!
Hau: Science is so amazing!
Lillie and Lola watched the awed boys with a smile on their faces.
The group have now bought all the stuff they needed and were now heading for their next stop.
Elio: So where to next?
Lillie: Next is food and ingredients, as well a cooking manual since some of us need to learn how to cook.
As the three kids were heading for the market to find food, Nebby peeked out of the bag again and she was curious of her new surroundings. So, without Lillie or the boys noticing, she Teleported out of the bag and she was now outside. She looked at the new place she's in until she caught something that peeked her attention. She entered the place which is a hair salon.
She looked around and saw a man sitting on a chair with a Pokémon standing behind him.
It looks like a bipedal, insectoid Pokémon with a red, metallic exoskeleton. Behind its back are four gray with simple, curved venation. Its head is kite-shaped with three blunt horns extended above its forehead, and dark yellow eyes. Its neck and part of its thorax shows black skin. His abdomen is large and has three black, pointed stripes below the waist. It has broad shoulders and thin, segmentend arms ending in large, round pincers. Its legs are defined by large hip joints, thin thighs, and wide calves, its feet ending in one clawed toe in front and another in the back. Nebby could tell that this Pokémon is female.
Red insect Pokémon: Scizor. Sci! Sci! Sci! Sci!
The Bug Pokémon began to snap her pincers on the man's hair. Until a moment later she was done and the customer's hair was neatly cut up. The man was satisfied with his new look.
Nebby looked at this and she found this very interesting.
Elio, Lillie, and Hau excited the marketplace as they now had everything they needed.
Elio: Well, we got the food. That seems to be everything, right?
Hau: Yep! Now I'm even more excited to start this journey! Can't wait!
But then Elio and Hau noticed that Lillie suddenly stopped as she looked down at her bag.
Elio: Is everything alright, Lillie?
Lillie: I don't know. Nebby was very silent for quite some time.
Lillie then opened the bag to take a peek, and she was shocked to see it empty as there was no cloudy Pokémon in there.
Lillie: Nebby's gone!
Elio: Say what?!
Hau: Ah man!
The trio along with their Pokémon quickly ran to the center of the mall as they looked around.
Elio: Nebby probably has Teleported out of the bag where we're busy shopping. Let's all six of us split and look for Nebby!
They did as three Humans and Pokémon separated to find that mischievous cloud Pokémon.
Lillie: Nebby!
The platinum blonde girl called as she looked around for Nebby. What she didn't know was that the little cloud Pokémon was in the second floor… drinking a beverage?
...
Lola was hopping around looking for Nebby. She passed a photo boot that was already taking pictures from whoever's inside. Photos came out as it showed it was Nebby as she was taking pictures with a mother and her daughter.

Hau passed over an arcade room as inside was Nebby as she was imitating the people that's playing a dance arcade game. The people came together as they found this very cute.
...
Elio was looking around an ice skate floor, but knew Nebby wouldn't be here so he left to another place to look around. Or so he thought as when he left, Nebby was in the hands of a skater as she was held up in the air.
...
Amoka passed an electronic store with many TV's as he tried to sniff Nebby's scent. But as he passed through the channel changed showing Nebby was on all the screens.
...
Mele was walking on the ledge on the second floor looking for Nebby, not knowing she was on the bottom floor resting on a chair as passerbys looked at her but just continued doing their things.
Inside a jewelry store there was a rich looking woman, as evident by her clothes, was looking at an expensive jewelry trinket on her arm. Beside her was a female attendant standing beside her.
Female Attendant: That really suits you.
However, the rich woman wasn't so sure.
Rich woman: Oh? Do you think so? Personally I think it's a little too sudlle.
The attendant was shocked to hear that.
Female Attendant: Sudlle? B-But that's only because your radiant beauty outshines it by a longshot.
The rich woman was flattered to hear that.
Rich Woman: Do you really think so?
As the two continued talking, laying outside was a Pokémon that clearly belongs to the rich woman. It was a Persian, but it looks clearly different as it's an Alolan Regional Variant of Persian.
Instead of a cream color his fur is pale tan with the exception of his black-rimmed ears. He has a short muzzle with a small, black nose, red eyes with slit pupils, rounded ears, a pair of pointed teeth in his upper jaw, and three whiskers on the side of his face, just like Kantonian Persian has. In the center of his forehead also has a red jewel. His long tail has a distinctive curl at the end. What makes him so different from Kantonian Persian is his round face.
The Alolan Persian seemed to be clearly bored from waiting for his owner as he Yawned in tiredness.
Persian: (Yawn)...
His eyes then caught something curious. Looking at one of the windows was Nebby as she once again was seeing something interesting. The Persian then has an evil glint in his eyes.
Nebby was continuing looking for more interesting things until she heard someone calling her.
Persian: Peersian? Persian?
Nebby turned to the one who called her and saw a friendly looking Parsian waving his paw in a motion that tells her to "come over here" with a smile on his face. Thinking that the Pokémon was friendly, Nebby flew towards him to greet him, not knowing it was a trap as the evil glint returned to his eyes. Just when Nebby got closer, the evil Persian swiped her with his sharp claws. Luckily, Nebby managed to avoid the swipe in time. Now knowing the Persian is a bully, Nebby ran away flying with the Persian chasing after her.
Lola: Buneary.
Lola was still looking for the little blue puff cloud, just like her young sister figure and her friends are. But then she heard Nebby's voice.
Turning around, she saw Nebby was being chased by an Alolan Persian. She then knew that Nebby was in trouble.
Nebby ran into a corner until she realized she's at a dead end with no way out. Turning fearfully around, she saw the mean Persian slowly approaching her with an evil look in his eyes.
Persian: Peerrrss.
The evil Dark Type raised his paw with sharp claws, about to bring it down on his prey, only for his face to be brought down on the ground instead. It was Lola as she jumped on top of the evil Persian's head and pushed his face on the floor, before jumping in front of Nebbt, who was delighted to see Lola.
Nebby: Cosmog!
Lola grabbed Nebby's little body and jumped on top of Persian's head again, who was getting back up but now his face was forced on the ground again. Lola bounced out of the corner as she looked at Nebby in her arms. Both smiled at one another as Lola planned to go back to the others now that she has found Nebby.
Persian: PERSIAN!
Lola turned her head around and saw that the evil Persian was now chasing her. Lola bounced faster as now she's the one in trouble and hoped she could find the others. Up ahead there was a person who finished mopping the floor so he put a warning sign saying the floor is wet and they could slip.
Lola noticed that and she wasn't because when she entered the wet floor zone, she skillfully slide on the floor like she was skating. The Persian however, has no such skill as he had trouble keeping himself standing.
Lola noticed a pole and she grabbed it and turned around, passing the surprised Persian before he noticed what's up ahead in front of him.
A woman was carrying a pretty pink dress as she showed it to her daughter, only for the Persian to collide with the dress and dragged it with him.
A man finished pushing the last box outside together with the rest, some of them seemed to be carrying wigs. Persian then collided with the boxes and because of the speed he went through he was now sent flying.
Finally up ahead, a boy and his girlfriend were about to enter the photo booth to take some pictures together, only for something to flewed inside the booth much to the couple's surprise. The machine started taking pictures, showing that it was Persian, feeling quite dizzy, while wearing the pink dress as well as a curly blonde wig.
Rotom was also looking around for Nebby, until it noticed Lola with the little puff ball in her arms.
Rotom: Lola! Looks like you found Nebby first. Bzzt!
Lola: Buneary! Buneary nery bun!
Rotom became a little confused when he heard that.
Rotom: Huh? A mean Persian is chasing you and Nebby?
?: PERSIAN!
Both Rotom and Lola turned around as they saw an angry looking Persian running towards them. Rotom quickly flew up in the air while Lola ran with Nebby in her arms again as the evil Persian resumed chasing them.
Rotom watched this from the sky and understood the trouble Lola and Nebby are.
Rotom: Bzzt! Lola and Nebby need help! I must find the others fast!
And then Rotom went to look for Elio and the others.
Lola and Nebby entered a store that has furniture and other households, the evil Persian was not too far behind.
The three Pokémon began running around the corner, with Lola and Nebby trying to lose the chasing Persian. Though they ended up losing sight of one another, with Persian trying to find them again and Lola not noticing that the Persian wasn't chasing them anymore. Just a moment Lola and Nebby were the ones chasing Persian and he didn't even notice them. Later, Persian stopped for a moment and then noticed the two were behind him before chasing them again.
Lola then jumped on a bed and looked behind her, and she saw the evil Persian jumped right at his prey. Lola then managed to jump away while the Persian landed on the bed. But because of his bigger and heavy size, he was bounced back out of the bed.
The Persian looked where he was going now and saw to his shock an open wasmachine. He landed inside and the lid closed as the machine started to work. Persian was having a dizzy time as the machine was spinning him around and around.
Lola and Nebby got out of the store as they looked behind again, only to jump in shock and started running again as a wet Persian came out. He shook off all the water from his fur until they poofed to his annoyance. He then resumed his chase at the two of them.
Meanwhile, Elio, Hau, and Lillie, along with their Pokémon Amoka and Mele, have reunited in the center of the mall after their fruitless search in finding Nebby.
Elio: I guess you guys haven't found Nebby.
Hau: Sorry, I tried.
Amoka: Ruff.
Mele: Ra.
Lillie was very worried that she may not find the little puff ball again. She was supposed to protect Nebby.
Lillie: Nebby…
Hau then noticed that two members were missing.
Hau: Hey? Where's Lola and Rotom?
That brought everyone's attention as they looked around.
Lillie: Lola?
But then the kids heard something else.
Rotom: Guuuuys!
They turned around and saw it was RotomDex that flew towards them.
Elio: Rotom? What 's wrong?
Rotom: Lola was able to find Nebby!
Lillie was relieved to hear that as she put a hand on her heart.
Lillie: Really? Thanks goodness.
Rotom: I'm afraid it's too soon to be relieved, Lillie!
That got the group attention.
Hau: What do you mean by that, Rotom?
Rotom: Lola and Nebby are being chased by an evil Persian right at this moment!
Now that shocked both the children and the Pokémon.
Lillie: What?!
Ellio: Rotom, you must lead us there, quickly!
Rotom: Zzt! Follow me!
The kids and Pokémon began following the RotomDex in hopes of reaching Lola and Nebby in time before that Persian does.
At that moment, Lola and Nebby got outside as they fled all the away above the Mall's rooftop. Lola took deep breaths in as she looked behind her. To her dismay, the evil Persian was now in front of them as he slowly approached his prey. Lola then put Nebby on the ground as she looked at him.
Lola: Buneary! Bun, buneary!
Lola told Nebby to stay behind her as she faced the evil Persian. A worried Nebby watched as Lola and Persian faced until they both made a move.
Persian attacked the Buneary with his sharp claws as he leapt on her, but Lola jumped away in time. Persian attacked again but once more Lola dodged it. The Rabbit Pokémon was very nimble on her feet as she dodged every single one of Persian's Slash. The Persian became quite annoyed until a smirk appeared on his face.
His body was covered in a purple glow as he charged at Lola again. Lola moved away to dodge again… only to be unexpectedly hit by Persian.
Lola: Buneary!
Nebby: Cosmo!
Nebby became very worried at seeing Lola being hurt like that. Lola slowly got back up as Persian was covered in a purple glow again and attacked once more. Lole tried to dodge but every time she did she still ended up being hit.
Lola was thrown face first on the ground as the evil Persian towered above her. The jewel on his forehead then started to glow white and the Persian fired a light-blue beam of energy that sent her flying off the roof, to the horror of Nebby.
Nebby: COSMOG!
Nebby's body suddenly glowed and then she teleported away… before reappearing behind Lola, who looked at Nebby in surprise before the two of them were Teleported away.
The evil Persian was surprised at this until he noticed the two appearing behind him. Lola looked at Nebby, still surprised, as the puffy cloud was glad that she was able to save her. They then saw the evil Persian turned to them as he planned to attack again, until…
Lillie: Nebby!
Lola and Nebby turned around and saw Lillie, Elio, Hau, and their Pokémon coming to the roof as they found them. Lillie quickly checked on Lola as she noted she was hurt.
Lillie: Lola, are you alright?
Lola: Neary.
Elio and Hau then noticed the Persian in front of them as he gave them a nasty glare.
Rotom: That's the Persian that chased Nebby and Lola! Bzt!
Elio: Is this Persian's Regional Variant of Alola?
Rotom: I'll show you the data!
The Rotomdex then showed the data about Persian's Alola form.
Rotom: Persian, the Classy Cat Pokémon, and the evolved form of Meowth, a Dark Type. It has a brutal personality that tortures weakened prey rather than finishing them off.
Hau: So it's an evil Pokémon then?
They all turned to the Persian. The mean Pokémon was about to use Power Gem again. Which Elio, Hau, and their Pokémon notices.
Elio: Amoka, use Rock Throw!
Hau: Mele, Shadow Ball!
All three Pokémon fired their attacks. Their moves collided with one another and exploded as everyone braced from the explosion's shockwave. But then, Persian appeared in front of Amoka, covered in a purple glow, and struck Amoka with his paws.
Elio: Amoka!
The evil Persian did the same with Mele as he hit her as well.
Hau: Mele!
Rotom: That was Feint Attack! A fast move that always strikes his enemies!
Amoka and Mele stood back up as the evil Persian was about to attack them again. But Mele, having seen her friends get hurt, has had enough.
Nebby: Cosmog!
Everyone was surprised when they saw Nebby fly and confront the evil Persian!
Lillie: Ah! Nebby! Come back!
The Persian was amused that the cloud creature planned to challenge him. But then Nebby's eyes glowed blue and so did Persian's. The Alolan feline was surprised at this and before he knew it, Nebby teleported him away. The kids and the Pokémon were surprised by this.
Hau: Persian's gone!
Elio: Nebby must have used Teleport to send Persian away.
Rotom: But the question is; where did Nebby teleport Persian?
The Persian opened up his eyes as he looked around curiously, wondering where he ended up. But then, he noticed a shadow loomed behind him and slowly turned to look at it. It was the red Bug Type Pokémon from the barber shop as she snipped her claws. Persian was sitting upon one of the many clients' seats and was about to be the next person to have his hair cut.
?: Scizor.
The Persian became really worried as the Pokémon's claws loomes over him, and then…
Persian: MMMRRRREEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOWWW!
A scream could be heard from the barber shop as snipping sounds could be heard.
Back inside the mall, Lillie was treating Lola's wounds as she finished using a Super Potion, and now she's all healed up.
Lillie: There, all done. Are you okay now, Lola?
Lola checked herself and saw that she no longer has any scratches on her body.
Lola: Buneary!
Lillie smiled in relief at that as Nebby flew and hugged Lola, who hugged her back in return.
Lillie: Thank goodness.
Hau: Lola sure is a responsible Pokémon, is she?
Elio: Yeah. To protect Nebby despite getting herself hurt, she's like an older sister protecting her younger sibling.
Lillie chuckled at that when Elio said it.
Lillie: Well, you're not wrong about Lola being an older sister.
Elio and Hau were a little confused at that.
Elio: Huh? What do you mean?
Lola has been with me during the time I was born. She has never left my side. She always played with me, and she even protected me. So in truth, she's an older sister to me.
Lillie began to remember those times, even the memories she no longer remembers. Lola watched a baby Lillie in her crib as the newborn looked at her curiously. Playing with her in a playful game of tag as a now walking Lillie was chasing after her. Protecting a young Lillie from a group of Rattata. And how she and young Lillie slept together in each other's arms.
Elio: Wow. You and Lola really are close, Lillie.
Lillie smiled at that as she stood back up and turned to Nebby.
Lillie: Nebby, get in the bag please.
Nebby complied without argument as she entered back inside the bag. Lillie then grabbed Lola in her arms as Amoka and Mele jumped on Elio and Hau's shoulders.
Hau: Well, we got all the stuff we needed. So, what do we do for the rest of the day then?
Elio turned to Lillie when Hau said this.
Elio: Well, where do you want to go, Lillie?
Lillie was surprised at Elio for asking her that.
Lillie: Me? No, no! Please, don't bother buying something for me!
Elio: It's not, Lillie. All these stuff you helped us buy were meant for us, so it would be nice if we buy something for you and Lola. Don't worry, I can afford whatever you buy.
Lillie wasn't sure about this, but then she turned to Lola as she grabbed her attention.
Lola: Buneary! Neary, bun!
Lillie: Lola…
Lillie was surprised that Lola wanted her to accept Elio's offer, so with a smile on her face she looked at Elio and Hau.
Lillie: Okay, then I'll accept!
Elio, Hau, Amoka, and Mele smiled since Lillie accepted to buy something for herself and Lola.
Rich Woman: Pershie! What happened to you!?
The Rich Woman was horrified to see the state her Persian is in. Apparently the Barber Pokémon cut all of the Persian's hair leaving him in the cold as his body was shaking and freezing.
Lillie, Elio, Hau, and their Pokémon excited the Hua'oli Mall as they planned to where Lillie wanted to go shopping.
Elio: So Lillie, where do you want to go then?
Lillie: Well, Professor Burnet once brought me to a shop that's near the ocean. They sell many cute things there.
Hau thought about it as that place sounds familiar to him.
Hau: Near the ocean? Oh boy, now I know where we're going?
Elio turned to Hau in confusion.
Elio: You do?
-Alola Sunrise, Hau'oli City, Melemele, Alola-
Elio and his friends were in a popular shop near the ocean that seems to be selling some accessories made out of natural materials. He could see Heart Scales and Corsola branches. They also sell some things like jewels and ribbons that's all natural too.
Hau: Alola Sunrise is a very popular place for girls. As you can see with Lillie and Lola.
It was true as the two boys were seeing the two girls gawking at the accessories. Just then, the sound of Pokeballs opening was heard as Kahula and Salandit came out of their Pokeballs, to Elio's surprise.
Elio: Kahula? Salandit? Why did you come out of your Pokeballs?
His question was answered as the two female Pokémon were interested as well at the accessories.
Hau: Well, Kahula and Salandit are girls too. Isn't that right, Mele? Huh?
But when he turned to his shoulder, Mele wasn't there. He looked around until he saw Mele grabbing one or the accessories. The Tricky Fox looked at her friend and gave him a sheepish smile.
Hau: Mele… you too?
Rotomdex then showed some sort of graphic in his screen.
Rotom: Statistics have shown when asked if they like to go shopping, over 87% of women answered they really like it, or they at least don't mind!
Hau: Then what about us boys?!
Rotom: They are at the lowest.
The girls were having the times of their lives as they tried on each accessory while the boys watched. Lillie and Lola wore necklaces with blue flower-like patterns. Mele tried some hair accessories as Hau helped her with it. Kahula was having fun as she balanced a few shells with her nose.
Meanwhile, Elio was with Salandit as the white lizard looked at one of the ribbons there, before pointing one of them with her finger as she called Elio.
Salandit: Sal. Salandit.
Elio: Huh?
Elio looked to which she was pointing a dark pink ribbon with a crescent moon on it.
Elio: Do you want that, Salandit?
Salandit nodded her head as in yes.
Elio: Well, I'll buy it for you if you let me name you, alright?
Salandit wasn't sure if she wanted a name but nodded her head then.
Elio: Does the name Luana has a nice ring for you?
Salandit thought about it and she found that the name wasn't half bad. She nodded at him again as she liked that name.
Luana: Salandit!
-Near Route 2, Hau'oli City, Melemele, Alola-
The next morning, Elio, Hau, Lillie, and their Pokémon were now standing in front of a path that would lead them to the first Trial they have to take. The white Salandit, now known as Luana, was perched on Elio's shoulder despite her being a bit big. On her neck is the accessory with the crescent moon that Elio bought for her.
Elio: Alright guys, this is it.
Lillie: Ilima said that he'll be waiting at the location of the Trial Site.
Hau: Well what are we waiting for? Let our first adventure begin!
Mele: Zor!
Duke: Pichu!
Both Mele and Pichu were on his shoulders as they agreed with him.
Elio: (Laugh)... Hau, we're already on an adventure the moment we became Pokémon Trainers.
Hau thought about it and knew it was true.
Hau: (Laugh)... Yeah, you're right.
And with that, the trio of friends entered the Route as their first journey as Pokémon Trainers has begun.
