Chapter 19

In the morning she woke up and got ready. She looked in the mirror of the bathroom to straighten out her hair. She got her school uniform and made her way out of the building. She was met by her friends. Masala and Ceylon were arguing who was the better driver of the Churchill. Assam and Rosehip were well enough distanced for anyone to tell they were a couple. The only two that were missing were Orange and Rukuriri. Darjeeling suspected they were already at the school. Eventually they all got to the school and got to their classes. The morning went by quickly and it soon came around to lunch.

They all sat down and were talking about their day. They finished their lunches and made their way down to the garage. The few hours of practice seemed to drag on for everyone. They finally parked the tanks and got out. Darjeeling soon was out of her tank and went to get everything together for their movie night.

Once she started the scones she got some tea and other snacks. She finished everything before the others arrived she checked her phone one last time before putting it on silent. She saw a text from Kay that had a Photo attached. She opened it, seeing a selfie of the Blonde sitting on the turret of her Sherman. The text attached to the photo said that she was looking forward to the next day. Darjeeling smiled as she silenced her phone. As she did her friends arrived.

They all got in their places and started the movie. They watched a movie about WW2 said to be based on a true story. As they watched, no one noticed that Rosehip and Assam were cuddled up next to each other

Throughout the movie they made comments and laughed at the funny parts. Darjeeling knew that a movie wasn't the best way to reconnect, but it was nice to be with her friends. As the night wore on everyone soon started to fall asleep. Rosehip and Assam fell asleep on the couch. Orange and Rukuriri were about to pass out as Darjeeling went to get blankets for all of them. She came out with a set of blankets for them. She woke them up and gave them the blankets. She then put one over the two on the couch. She went to her room and laid on her bed.

The next morning Darjeeling woke up first and changed into her clothes quickly. She went out and found the four girls still passed out. She kindly woke them up. First the two on the couch to help them keep them a secret. As they woke up they found the scones from the night before. They separated from each other and each grabbed a scone. Darjeeling poured them some freshly made tea and woke the other two up and repeated the process.

"Good morning Miss Darjeeling." Rosehip managed to say after drinking the tea.

"Good morning. Did everyone sleep well?"

:Yes Ma'am." They all said.

"Too bad Ceylon and Masala couldn't make it." Assam said swallowing a bite of scone

"They said they both had a lot of homework to do when I asked."

"Dang"

"We still have a few minutes before class starts. You should head back to your dorms and get changed."

Darjeeling said as she packed up her bag. They all agreed and exited the room. Assam only stayed behind to say one thing.

"Just because you're excited to see Kay tonight you shouldn't let that mess with your school work."

The statement made Darjeeling blush. Assam left the room and made her way to her dorm where she opened the door to Rosehip on her bed.

"Really? Get up, you have classes."

"Uhhgh. Fine. Do I have a clean set of clothes in here?"

"Yes. Here go get changed and I will go into the bathroom."

"I need a shower though. And by the look of things you do too"

"We don't have time to take individual showers"

"We could just take one together." Rosehip said as she got up off the bed

"Yeah. But we don't have time for anything else. Got it?"

"Yeah. I get it. Lets go before we are late."
