Lonewolf slid the door to the side opening it, he admired how it resembled home. He grabbed his bags and walked inside. Taking in the view his eyes widened, he couldn't believe how amazing this house looked. Standard couch and television in the living room, not that he'd have much time for it. Stove and microwave setup in the kitchen along with a sink, cabinets and drawers for housing items. The bookcase in the living room really caught his eye he knew he'd have to see what Joshi had to read. He walked into the bedroom and took a look around. Large king size bed plus a small bathroom in his bedroom. He sat his bags on top of his bed and walked out just as Joshi stepped inside the house.
All of this was foreign to Lonewolf, to him this was unreal.
"All these doors and walls are solidly structured in place and all weather resistant, your cupboards, cabinets and refrigerator are already stocked with supplies and when you get low just let me know and I can get more in no time, your mattress will confirm to your body no matter how you sleep and keep you cool, as you can see you also have a bathroom in there in case you decide not to use the main bathroom and I tried to make the design feel as close as possible to home."
Lonewolf was truly impressed with how far Joshi went to make this home comfortable for him, he liked how it was modern yet very simple.
"I must say you did an amazing job here and I appreciate that, it's definitely gonna help me out so thank you." Lonewolf said.
"It's no trouble at all, you're doing all this to help our village and so what helps you helps us all in a sense." Joshi replied.
Lonewolf agreed, after all he was right, missions go smoothest when everyone pulls there hardest to help.
There was one thing that Lonewolf realized as soon as he left hi room though, and it was something he needed to figure out fully.
"I couldn't help but notice there's only one room, do you sleep on the couch or would you rather alternate for the bed, I have no problem with that." Lonewolf said.
Joshi couldn't help but laugh, and laugh he did.
"No no Lonewolf that's fine." He said.
Lonewolf was confused and Joshi saw that and quickly spoke.
"This home sits on five acres of property, I got my own home a few acres down."
"I see, well that certainly works out best for us both then." Lonewolf said.
Although he started to think about this from a security perspective.
"I know we're in the forest but we're still close to city, can you be sure we won't be spotted with two homes on this property?" He asked.
"No worries that's something I took into consideration when I first got here, that's why I installed countermeasures on the property, we won't have to worry about getting spotted by planes or drones or any surveillance equipment because I put in an ECS."
"ECS?" Lonewolf asked.
"Electronic Countermeasure System, it sends a signal to disrupt and camouflage our position from any ariel or ground based system, it basically scrambles the programming to show no sign of human life and make our homes invisible, it works with any electronic say someone threw a tracker on you well they would see it until you crossed our property line then the signal would stop and reprogram a fake location away from here throwing your assailant off trail. Basically you're invisible here." Joshi explained.
Lonewolf was truly taken back.
"This is impeccable engineering Joshi, very impressive."
"Thank you, I'm gonna get back to my place so once you get unpacked meet me there and we'll get started with everything, just go through the backyard and you'll see a very faint trail follow that and you'll reach my place, I'll see you soon Lonewolf."
"Definitely and thank you for all this I appreciate it." Lonewolf said.
Joshi nodded as he left sliding the door shut behind him, with Soroku alone he began getting everything in order.
He went back into his room and began unzipping his bags, he started organizing his clothes and put them in the dressers, once he had that lined out he began organizing his weapons and equipment putting everything where it needed to go in the weapon closet he was given.
He had spent roughly an half hour getting everything put away and adjusted, once he was finished he went into the kitchen and grabbed a snack.
He grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and peanut butter bar, he walked over to the bookshelf and began looking over the books Joshi got as he ate his food.
They were all shinobi books or books based on Ninjutsu, nothing secret realistically Soroku already knew what most of those books were about but he looked forward to reading them regardless.
He finished his water and snack while he looked over his new home. He liked it I mean it wasn't like anything at home and that's what added a uniqueness to it, he was excited about all of this.
He looked at the clock and seen it was at least an hour and a half since Joshi left.
"I better see Joshi and see where I start with all this."
Soroku left his home and went around the back like Joshi said, he looked into the treeline and saw the faint trail he was told about. He followed it and a few minutes later he came across Joshi's home.
He walked across the yard and came up to the front door, he knocked twice and went inside to officially start his new mission.
