As Momo approached the classroom, she could hear the sounds of Iida lecturing Midoriya on how to be a good vice representative. "So when Yaoyorozu isn't here you should make sure everyone is seated before the teacher arrives." "But Iida, everyone was already seated." "That is besides the point, Midoriya." She smiled, glad it was him and not her as she walked into the classroom.

"Momo! How are you feeling!" Kyoka was the first to see her, calling out, before the rest of the class rushed her, asking how she was doing. Everyone had heard about what happened to her, either from Kirishima or Midoriya, and all were wishing her well. Well, except Bakugou, who sneered in her direction before looking away. "Wait, Momo. What happened to your hand?"

Before she could speak, they heard the voice of their teacher. "It's good to see you all are feeling energetic, but I would like to get class started." The class started to mob Aizawa-sensei with questions too, especially as no one expected him to be here nor to see him wrapped in bandages as he was. "I said I would like to get class started." Everyone quickly moved back to their seats and Aizawa moved to the podium. "Yaoyorozu, I had heard that you might have been late to class so you are excused. But Midoriya, I expect you as the vice representative to have the class in their seats before I arrive."

Iida gave a smile to Midoriya with a thumbs up. It might've been smug on anyone else, but on Iida it was still a friendly gesture.

"To get the questions out of the way, no I'm not healed yet. I'm taking it easy. But I'm still your homeroom teacher and I'm fine to teach. So I would prefer if you all didn't stress me anymore than normal. Secondly I'm sure many of you have questions about what happened not only to me but to your classmates. Remember you are all aspiring to be Pro Heroes so make sure to conduct yourselves as such. Anything else can wait until later, we have a lot to discuss and need to move on."

The entire class thought to themselves "Too short!" but left any other questions unsaid as Aizawa continued.

"In two weeks we will be having the U.A. Sports Festival. This is an important time for all of you to make a name for yourselves."

The entire class cheered at the announcement until Kaminari spoke up and dampened everyone's spirits. "But is it really all right to have the sports festival so soon after the villains attacked. I mean…" He started to look back but stopped himself, leaving Momo to sigh.

"I'm fine everyone, please continue Sensei."

Aizawa continued to speak, "Apparently the higher ups think of it as U.A. showing that our crisis management system is rock solid. Security will be increased five fold as well compared to previous years. Above all you should consider what an opportunity this is. It's not an event to be cancelled because of a few villains."

A few concerns still could be heard from the class. Momo heard Midoriya trying to comfort Mineta when Aizawa kept going. "In the past the Olympics were a festival of sports and the whole country was crazy about them. With reductions in scale and population they're now a shell of their former glory. In Japan, what has filled that void for most people is the U.A. sports festival."

"Of course many Pros from across the country will be watching, looking to scout new talent. Joining a famous hero agency will garner you more fame and experience. But time is limited. If you expect to go Pro, then this event will open the future to you. You only get one chance a year, a total of three chances. No aspiring hero will miss this event. If you can understand that, then don't slack off on your preparations!"

Everyone in the class acknowledged their teacher before he dismissed homeroom for the day.

The classes continued as normal though the occasional utterance of the sports festival could be heard among the class. Everyone seemed excited to put themselves on display and were coming up with ideas. Momo herself welcomed it as a distraction from her arm, a topic she wasn't opposed to discussing but would rather not talk about it in front of the entire class. Finally lunch came and everyone started talking about the sports festival again.

Momo was packing up her stuff to head to the lunch room with Kyoka when Bakugou came up to her. His eyes were staring straight at her left hand when he growled out a question. "Why do you have your arm back?"

The entire class went silent. While everyone was curious about her arm, they were all heeding Aizawa-sensei's words and keeping to themselves. But the question was still one they all wanted to know and Bakugou asked it aloud in front of the entire class ignoring any etiquette. Momo was shocked, thinking that this lack of tact was beyond even him when Kirishima suddenly moved over to him. "Hey, I know everyone wants to know what happened. But dude, that's not the way to ask. It's not manly at all."

Bakugou turned to Kirishma, "Can it, Spiky Hair. That hand villain melted it but now it's back. Did someone use a Quirk on you? Tell me."

Momo met his glare head-on before giving up. "I don't owe you a single explanation but I might as well just tell everyone to get it over with. It's a prototype prosthetic. A fake arm." Momo took off the cap on the ring finger to expose the connection port. "If the arm itself was exposed you'd be better able to tell but it adapts to try to fit in. Here, compare my two hands and you'll notice a few differences." She produced her hands as the class came up to compare. While this was happening, Bakugou turned around and left the room for the cafeteria.

After everyone had a moment she pulled her hands back, "All right, I'd rather stop talking about my new hand now. I'll be honest I'm still getting used to the whole notion myself and would like to get some lunch and think about the sports festival."

The entire class respected her decision and backed off, with Kyoka joining her as they left the classroom. They only took a few steps out of the room however when Kirishma, Todoroki and Midoriya all called out to her. Turning around it seemed that Kirishima was taking the lead. "Um, I know you just said you don't want to talk about it. But the three of us had met up and talked after everything and, well, we weren't very manly."

Todoroki picked up the conversation, "What Kirishima is trying to say is that even though we were all present along with Bakugou, none of us were able to stop Shigaraki from hurting you. We're sorry." Midoriya and Kirishima both bowed along with Todoroki saying Sorry as well.

Momo looked at the three and smiled, "Thank you, but I know that given the circumstances everyone did their best. If I hadn't been caught in the first place, then I wouldn't' have needed help. In truth, you three should be mad. If Snipe and the other heroes hadn't arrived I may have cost you all your lives instead."

Midoriya quickly stepped up, trying to argue with her but unable to find a statement that disproved her words. Instead he said, "Maybe you're right. But that just means we all need to get stronger." He brought up his fist and clenched it, with all five of them in agreement and walking to the lunch room together. Kyoka and Momo broke off upon arrival and went to join their friends from 1-B for lunch.

The three were shocked to see that Momo did have an arm, contrary to popular lunchroom opinion.

Setsuna was the first to speak up, "Okay, Momo. This might be a bit rude but how's your arm still there?" Ibara and Itsuki both looked in shock at Setsuna.

"Well Setsuna. I was trying to learn how to do your Quirk too." And with that Momo popped the cap off her finger again like a magic trick. "Or I may just have an amazing prosthetic in place of my old arm."

"No kidding! That's kind of amazing in it's own way. What kind of tricks can you do with it? Punch through walls? Vibrate through people? Just vibrate fast?"

The others all blushed at Setsuna's words, understanding her implication but used to her humor. Itsuki spoke up, "I'm curious too if it's super strong. How much can it lift, crush? Grip strength?"

Ibara joined in, "Please don't tell us it has a laser cannon in it."

All three laughed, though waiting for Momo's response. Any of it could be true. "Well right now this is just a test model. All it does is calibrate itself to my movements. In about a week I should get the real thing. Power Loader and one of his students, a girl named Hastume Mei, had some ideas for it. I'm interested in seeing what they come up with."

"Well if you need any of us for anything, Momo, you just tell us. We're all here for you, you get me?"

"Thank you Setsuna. And you two as well Itsuki, Ibara. I'm glad to have such good friends."

Lunch continued with talk of the sports festival and how the five of them were going to train for it. Momo was concerned about getting used to her new arm in time and Itsuki offered to spar with her a bit hand to hand, but Momo turned her down for now. She didn't want to distract her from her own efforts and she didn't think she would benefit much from training her martial skills now.

As the day came to an end Momo was packing up to leave the school when an announcement asked her to go to the staffing room after class. She said her goodbyes to Kyoka and headed that way. In the room Midoriya was also present talking to Aizawa-sensei before Midoriya waved her over to them. "Fujitomo-sensei said he found someone interested in your idea."

It took Momo a moment to realize what Aizawa was even talking about. "Oh, the Hero and Villain database. I had almost forgotten about it."

Aizawa turned and she believed he looked at her, though it was hard to tell with the bandages. "If your resolve for this project is that thin, maybe you should reconsider it."

"There has been a lot going on lately. My resolve isn't in question on this project."

Midoriya also stood up, defending her. "That's right, Aizawa-sensei. We've both been under a lot of stress. But I think we both want this to succeed."

Aizawa looked at them both. "Well considering you both nearly forgot about it once, please don't do so again. I swear I'm working overtime to help you two out." Aizawa stood up and nodded for the two to follow, bringing them to the business course where they met with Fujitomo-sensei and who must have been one of his students. While taller than Mineta, he was still on the shorter side. However both of his ears were long, probably a good 30cm long, and ending in little knobs that looked almost silver. Both of his eyes had silver irises as well as he looked at them, dressed in the U.A. outfit.

Fujitomo-sensei greeted them and then introduced his student. "This is Daniel House. House is the surname by the way."

House stood up and bowed to them before speaking in perfect English. "Good afternoon. My name is Daniel House. That is with my surname of House last." Fujitomo-sensei coughed and pointed to his ears before House spoke up again, this time in Japanese. "My apologies. My name is Daniel House. My surname is House. I'm afraid I sometimes start to speak English because of my Quirk, WiFi."

Before he could continue Midoriya spoke up, "WiFi? What does it do? Connect to the internet?"

"Well kind of? Basically anything that has some kind of remote connection to it, like WiFi, Bluetooth, even Radio I can try to talk to it and connect with it. Now it's not automatic. I literally talk to it and have to convince it to let me connect. And most connections seem to take on the personality traits of their users. It's not nearly as useful as it sounds most of the time, but when it does work it's pretty good." He looked at Momo's arm, "And it seems your arm wants to have a conversation? I don't think I've ever heard of an arm with a WiFi on it before."

Momo had an internal sigh, not able to escape talk of her arm even here. "My arm is a prosthetic and it does have a wireless connection for calibration."

The others looked on in awe, seeming to want to ask questions before House spoke up again. "Well the arm keeps yelling that's done with work and wants to go meet someone else. It's kind of strange to be honest."

"I'll have to let Power Loader know next time I see him. Now about our discussion?"

"Oh right. Well after talking to Fujitomo sensei I had come up with a plan of sorts. Can you get the lights, Sensei? I'll start my presentation."

Aizawa managed to excuse himself before the start, but Momo and Midoriya were trapped for a 30 minute presentation that detailed a rather intricate business plan using Midoriya's hero and villain data. At the core it seemed rather simple, just providing access to hero and villain data to other heroes for a monthly fee. But he had put together other ideas as well. Using the database to grow out tracking data on villains and follow their patterns, expectations on where villains may flee to or what kind of hideouts they would use, even trying to predict crimes. His plan even allowed the formation of ideal teams to fight villains based on past experience and skill sets. Momo had to admit it was as enticing as it was ambitious. This wasn't a simple high school project. This was something that would probably be worked on by the two of them most of their lives, even if only as a side job to other careers.

This was what Momo had envisioned when Midoriya was talking about it, but House had planned it out to be there in the next 20 years. He concluded his presentation and Fujitomo turned the lights on. "So that's the idea I had. It's still pretty rough at this point but it at least provides a framework to grow on. So what do you think?"

Momo turned to Midoriya who had somehow managed to have both an excited look on his face as he mumbled out the ideas while sporting a glazed look in his eyes from information overload. It was what Momo felt inside. But she wasn't deterred. "I must say it's an ambitious plan. You've obviously put some thought into it. But do you really think we can manage to follow the timetables you've set?"

House pulled out some notes as he began to speak, "Do I think we can meet it? Yes, I do think we can. However that depends on many factors that could change the goalposts. Remember that villains just attacked the school, for example. If that had happened a year from now, I would expect that to increase our sales and possibly put us ahead of schedule. But a time of peace could delay it instead. It's a risk but one I think would be successful in any climate. The returns just may not be as fast."

Momo thought for a moment. "And how do you envision us getting our initial capital for this venture?"

House responded quickly, "Well as the investor that would be your responsibility. I imagine that for now we would need approximately 40,000,000 yen to get us started for the first year, taking into account employee salaries. That would net us little return during that first year. However with most of the infrastructure in place at that point we would mostly need to cover oversight and only need about 1,200,000 yen the second year and nothing invested that third year. We would recover our initial investment by the fifth year. I believe this would be the toughest hurdle to overcome."

Midoriya had just stopped at the amount of money being tossed about. Even Momo found it excessive. But he was right in that investing more early would turn greater profits later. "I would need some time to consider this."

"I thought you would. I can start with a lower budget but it would take longer to reach the eventual goal. I'm not sure I could do it for any less than 5,000,000 yen to start."

"All right. Thank you for your time House. Midoriya, it's time for us to go."

The green haired boy snapped back to reality and thanked House for his time as well before the two of them departed. "So what are your thoughts, Midoriya?"

He obviously was thinking before responding. "He seems confident that it could work and he's put some thought into his plan. I didn't understand a lot of what he was talking about, but I'm not sure his numbers were right on how many Pro agencies would actually use it."

Momo was impressed as she had come to the same conclusion. "And how did you come up with that?"

"Well it's just that there's not a need for such cross information checking, what with All Might being here. As long as we have him as a Symbol then that means there's less need for it." He got quiet for a moment before mumbling to himself, "Which might be why it's all the more important to get it up and running."

Momo turned to look at him, his words almost seeming prophetic. "What do you mean by that, Midoriya."

Realizing what he had said, he quickly turned defensive. "Oh, I didn't mean anything! Well I did, but not that we might lose All Might. I mean we could have with the villains attacking and everything. It's always possible. It was just weird for it to happen and if it did a database would be invaluable to the agencies." He was starting to run his words again but Momo started to ignore it and let him continue.

"Midoriya is correct. In the event this attack wasn't isolated this would be a huge project. But it might just be a risk too. I should discuss it with my mother tonight before she leaves tomorrow."

Midoriya had stopped his mumbling by the time they left the school. Momo offered Midoriya a ride back to his home but he declined, wanting to get some exercise in preparation for the sports festival. They said their goodbyes and Momo headed home for the night.

Momo found herself after dinner in the main living room of her home, preparing to present the same presentation that House had presented to her earlier in the day. Only this time the audience would be much more demanding. Her mother. As soon as she had arrived at home, she took the presentation she had copied from House and began to go over it and the notes he had included. She began to edit them, striking out what wouldn't work and adding notes she believed would be more convincing, until she had what she believed to be the best presentation she could do in such a short amount of time.

In truth she wished that she had both House and Midoriya here to present it with her. But that idea crossed her mind too late to ask. House knew this material better than her and she had to admit had a certain charisma about him when talking business. Midoriya would probably have been flustered, but his conviction when talking about heroes came through clear.

But now she was presenting the whole thing by herself. She was making her way through each slide, discussing each point. Momoka seemed to respond to each point in turn, attempting to counter Momo's arguments and painfully succeeding on several. But Momo felt strongly that she herself had won a number of points as well. By the time Momo finished, she was feeling confident that her mother would invest in hier idea.

Momoka had been writing throughout the presentation and began to review her notes. "All right, Momo. Let's go ahead and talk this out. First I want to talk about the actual presentation before we get to the heart of the issue."

"All right. What did you think of it?"

"So if this was a class project, I have no doubt you would have gotten an A+ on it. If I were to instead grade it on how successful I think it would be, I'm sorry to say at best I would give it a D."

Momoka's works shook Momo more than she realized even as her mother went on to explain. "First is the overall tone of the presentation. You've already told me it was originally for you and Midoriya to review. In fact even with the edits you made, and they are clearly edits, the intention of the presentation was for people already on board with the idea. There was little persuasive argument to it. It didn't make the effort to convince me that this was an idea worth investing in, just that it could be invested in."

Momoka went over the presentation itself for as long as Momo had presented it, pointing out flaws in the writing, flaws in the arguments, omissions that shouldn't have been there. In the end, while Momo could agree with most of what she said, it was very disheartening to hear.

"But everything I've said up to this point has been about the presentation. As far as convincing me to invest, these are the points I see."

"First was profitability. How will this make the investor, myself, money. It may seem a bit callous to say it like that, but at the end of the day that is what the investor wants. Based on the projections you had, it would take about 3 years for an investor to start seeing a return. And it wouldn't return that initial investment for probably 8 years total. That alone may well be a dealbreaker."

"Secondly is power. You managed to talk about how something like this has been attempted, but you didn't delve into what failed. Why didn't it work in the past? And if it did work, you made mention of how it could be used but not how it could benefit the investor. Especially considering your investor in this case has several R&D groups devoted to development equipment for heroes. If you had brought that up, that could easily have overturned profitability by promising higher profits from other departments or branches."

"And finally you didn't discuss how you and your team are high school students. Or more specifically how being high school students wouldn't interfere with operating this endeavor. I may have faith in you but an investor may not. Do you have any questions?"

Momo sat there, looking over the notes she herself had written down. One in particular stood out, written half-way through her mother's critique. 'Failure'. Momo couldn't believe how badly she screwed up this chance but suddenly felt empty inside.

"I guess that means no to the investment then?"

Momoka smiled at her daughter. "That means I need you to clean up your proposal to present it again in about 3 weeks. The board has been trying to get a project like this off the ground for several years but just hasn't had the people to run it with our other projects. Having it start off as a high school project we invest in with U.A. initially and then establishing after your graduation is a possibility after all. Make sure the three of you are ready to go, and make sure your practice for the sports festival in between. You'll be presenting from here to the board remotely. I suggest you dress professionally."

While the sense of failure didn't leave her, this second chance at least buried it. "I will make sure we are ready to go. Just let me know the time and date and we will be prepared."

Momoka gave her daughter a hug, telling her how proud she was, before checking on her arm and telling her goodnight. Evening had come upon them quickly while immersed in discussion. Momo herself was excited about the possibilities. She would need to talk to Midoriya and House tomorrow to get started on everything. So much to do.
