The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. But the building which is usually filled with laughter and pranks is filled with silence and seriousness bcoz of one single reason... An angry boss. Or to be specific – angry Acp pradyuman! Only three people had the power to calm down this tsunami and none of them are present here at this moment. Daya and Abhijeet are out of station for a mission and Dr. Salunkhe is in Pune for a conference. *Sigh* so all are stuck with a serious environment in the bureau.
That is till Insp. Freddy receives a text message. Reading the text he is both relieved and tensed , which confused everyone present at the moment. The emotions and expressions were still till Rajat and Sachin decided to go and check the text. It was
Freddy tum log Koi bhi bahana bana ke abhi ke abhi vaha se niklo aur hamare Ghar pohocho! Vaha mere informer tumhe bata denge kya Karna hai. Jaldi Karna Acp sir ke Ghar pohochne se pehle kaam ho Jana chahiye.

Checking the text all heaved a sigh.
"Chalo Bhai Sher ki gufa Mai kon jaa Raha hai?" Rajat asked looking at all and then stopping his gaze at Freddy. First confused , Freddy's eyes widened as he find every eyes on him with a pleading face.
"ab ba ba nnnnai sir ma-mai nai jaa Raha andar. Aa-aap aap Pankaj ko bhej do!" He said in hurry , stammering.
"Are sir aa-aap mujhe kyu fasa-fasa rahe ho? Aap senior ho na to aapka hak banta hai ye kaam Karne ka aur Mai to abhi naya Aaya hu Mai kaise-" Their banter was interrupted by Rajat's irritated voice.
"Bas Karo tum dono! Agar jaldi Nahi pucha to Acp sir Ka to pata Nahi , hum sab ko Abhi sir aur Daya sir Ka gussa jhelna padega! Freddy message tumhe Aaya hai to tum jao"
"Tujhe to Mai baad Mai Dekh Lunga Pankaj. O-okay sir Mai jaa-jaata hu" He sighed and went towards the lion's cave which was burning with his anger right now. Knocking on the door he patiently or rather nervously waited when he heard a strict and rough 'come in' from inside. As soon as he came in , he can see the fiery eyes ready to eat him alive if he didn't start speaking.
"Sir wo Rajat sir ke informer ne info Di hai ki blue diamond club Mai Kuch hone wala hai to Mai aapko batane Aaya tha ke hum sab waha jaa rahe hai" he said in one go , proud of himself for not getting scared while speaking.
He first smiled in relief but then got scared when he heard
"Accha thik hai jao ... Ruko Mai bhi aata hu tumhare Saath" He also heard the lion mumble
"Unhe kaam hai to kya mujhe Nahi hai? Aane do ab phone , Mai bhi ab busy hu!" Though the childish mumble made Freddy smile , he had a more important tension in his hand right now... How to stop Acp sir from coming? He tried again with
"Nahi sir hum jaate hai aap yahi rahiye na"
"Tumhe kya Lagta hai Mai kaam Nahi kr Sakta? Huh? Senior kon hai Yaha Freddy?" The lion of CID mumbai roared standing up from his chair. But our inspector , though scared , knew how to deal with their boss! After all, trained by the best (ahem Abhijeet and Daya).
"Sir aisa Nahi hai. Actually ... actually Kuch ... Ha! Kuch Der pehle DCP sir Ka phone aaya tha. Wo keh rahe the ke vo aapse Kuch baat Karne Yaha aane wale hai"
"Accha? Aise baat hai to tum log jao Mai unhe call Karke puchta hu ki kya baat hai aur unhone mujhe kyu Nahi call Kiya direct" Acp sir said picking up the receiver , draining all colours from the inspector's face. Though nervous , he again tried with
"Na-nahi sir vo Dcp sir ne Kaha tha ke Aapka phone engage as Raha tha shayad aur unhe meeting Mai jaana tha. To unhone Kaha ke vo vaha se direct aa jayenge. Aur meeting Mai phone .. ha meeting Mai phone allowed nahi hai"
"Accha thik hai tum log jaake aao Mai wait karta hu unka" He said still suspicious a bit but knowing DCP chitrole too well he didn't said anything.
Nodding in yes , Freddy immediately went out from the cabin and took a deeeep breathe coming out. He was immediately surrounded by his fellow colleagues with hopeful eyes. Though he wanted to tease them but their hopeful eyes compelled him to tell the truth. Looking at them he smiles slightly which was the proof of their success. They all moved out of the Bureau discussing how he managed to convince him. Reaching their destination , that is Acp sir and duo's house , they were about to call the duo when they saw Bhiku, Chandan and Ramesh (Abhijeet's informers) and Mannu, Lallan and Raja (Daya's informers) coming from both the side.
Everyone gathered together and asked the six guys about the matter who just gave them few decorations , a screen and projector and a pen drive. Though confusing , they knew what thy had to do. When they were about to go in, Bhiku gave a note to Rajat and said
"Saab, Abhijeet Saab ne apun ko phone pe likhwayela tha aur bola tha ke ye Mai aap tak pohocha du! Aap unko boliye ga saab ke Bhiku ne immandari se apna kaam kiyela hai"
"Ha ha Mai bata dunga sir ko... Chal ab nikal" Rajat replied and they all went in.
Getting in, Pankaj and Sachin started setting up the projector and screen in the study and all others started with the decoration.
After around one and a half hour they all sat down tired, stretching when Rajat removed the note from his pocket. The writing was messy but he was able to read it. It said
Rajat ab sabse important kaam Karna hai. Acp sir ko ab jald se jald ghar bhejke , projector on Karna hai aur ha video call on Karke aisi jagah par rakhna jaha se acche se unke expression dikhe.

Reading the letter , Rajat smiled and looked at Freddy who , with widened eyes again , said
"S-sir is Baar chitthi aap-aapko Mili hai is Baar aap jaayenge! Senior ke hote hue junior kaam Kare accha nai Lagta na!"
"Par sir junior ke rehte senior kaam Kare ye bhi to accha nai Lagta na" Pankaj barged in with a mocking smirk. Freddy looked at him with a frown but later smiled and replied
"Ha to Tu Chala jaa na Pankaj! Tere rehte Mai kaam karu ye bhi Kaha accha lagta hai" Everyone chuckled at this whereas Pankaj looked at him with open mouth. Rajat interrupted this time with
"Mai hi jaa raha hu sir ke pass is baar chinta mat Karo tum dono! Bas chalo jaldi"
Rajat asked Pankaj to stay there who video call Abhi and stayed in a dark corner from where he can move out quickly switching on the projector. Others moved out and reached the bureau in 15 minutes. Reaching in they all waited patiently as Rajat called Acp sir out and started as
"Sir hum waha kaafi Der khade rahe magar koi ajeeb baat Hume lagi nahi... But mere informer ne kaha ke waha zaroor Kuch hone wala hai isliye Maine Pankaj ko bola hai vo vaha nazar rakh Raha hai"
"Vo to thik hai par Freddy Tumne to Kaha tha DCP sir aane wale hai ... Na to wo Aaye Na unka phone lag raha hai ye sab kya hai?" Acp sir said with a grunt.
Gulping down saliva Freddy replied with "Sir aapko to chitrole sir Ka maloom hi hai na ... Kya pata sirf aapko pareshan Karne ke liye phone Kiya ho. Aap Ghar chale jaiye agar vo aa Gaye to hum unhe bata denge"
Everyone around looked at Freddy with admiration for his courage when they heard
"Nahi Nahi abhi Nahi! Abhi mujhe bohot kaam hai Freddy tum log chale jao" This sentence burst their bubble. They were thinking for another idea when Kajal piqued in with
"Ha Freddy sir ab Abhijeet sir aur Daya sir Nahi hai to Acp sir ko Ghar jaa Kar Accha nahi lagega na. Isliye shayad vo Yaha rehkar kaam Karna chahte-"
But was interrupted by Acp sir as
"Aisi koi baat Nahi hai Kajal mujhe koi farak nahi padta koi hai ya Nahi hai! Freddy Mai Ghar jaa raha hu tum log bhi Ghar chale jana" He rushed out from there saying this. As he moved out everyone praised Kajal and started packing their stuff.
In the car Acp sir was mumbling things with a pout like 'Huh meri chinta to hai Nahi dono ko ... To Mai kyu unki chinta karu!'
'Itna khayal Nahi aata ke ek phone Kar le ... Ya at least utha le️'
'Mai kyu Soch Raha hu unke baare Mai mujhe kya Mai to Ghar jaake Aram se so jaunga! Ha yehi karunga' Reaching home he directly went in the study ( as expected by Abhijeet) which was very dark. As he was about to switch on the lights , the projector was switched on and a beautiful tune in Duo's sweet voice was heard as

The projector started and it started showing pictures of the trio together.

In the first pic 5 year old Abhi and Daya were playing with toys and Acp sir was trying to feed them , covered in flour.
Looking at the pic he was about to smile but maintained a serious face as he knew hi sons were looking at him somehow.

Another pic appeared in which he was sitting with both his sons on the floor, with 2 textbooks in his hand , making them write in the notebooks.
The faces made by his cute sons brought a small smile on his face looking at which Abhi and Daya high-fived each other with this.

The next pic was clicked at night. In the pic Daya was sleeping on the bed with a wet cloth on his head, Acp sir was sleeping in sitting position with one hand on Daya's head and other on Abhijeet who was sleeping with his head in his lap.
This brought tears in Duo's eyes who once again realised how much their dad loved them.
Ho Oo OO Ooo..
In the next pic 15 year old Abhi and Daya were holding trophies and medals and Acp sir and Salunkhe sir were kissing their foreheads.
This brought a proud smile on Acp sir's face giving a relaxed smile to the duo.

This pic was clicked by Dr. Salunkhe as in this Abhi and Daya both were holding their ears and were pouting as ACP sir was lecturing them about something.
They laughed as they both remembered how they left the house without telling anyone and gave a mini heart attack to Acp sir as he thought someone kidnapped them for revenge. But they instantly regretted keeping this pic as they can see a small frown on Acp sir's face. Oh no
Humne Ki Jitni Jafayen

In this slide there are two pictures. In the first one Abhi and Daya are sitting with plaster around their hands and bandages and are getting scolded by Acp sir for not telling him about the risk factor o the mission whereas the doctor is standing on one side with amused and scared expression.
In the second picture, Acp sir is laying on the bed with his head down and Abhi and Daya are scolding him that he doesn't take care of himself while the same doctor is standing at the same place trying to control his laughter.
Hooo..Hum Naye Mausam Naya, Aalam Naya
Badle Hain Armaan Bhi
In this picture all three are sitting as chief guest in a function whereas the rest of the CID team is sitting on a nearby table.

In this all were coming out of a house ,laughing , where they were kept by the kidnappers. All were laughing freely without any tension.

As the next pic came Acp sir laughed out loud and even the duo (ahem specially Abhijeet) smirked looking at the image.
In it, Abhijeet and Daya were eating food like they were hungry from decades, Acp sir was laughing wholeheartedly and Dr. Salunkhe was sitting there with a grumpy face as the bill was on Dr. Salunkhe.
Raat Din Tere Liye Sajde Karu Duyaien Maangu Re
In this slide Acp sir was feeding Abhijeet and Daya himself and they both were making faces and teasing each other.
This one brought a peaceful smile on his face confirming the duo that they were successful in their plan.
Mein Yahan Appne Liye Rab Se Teri Balaein Mangu Re
In the last slide there was a small message that said
· Thanks for being in our life! You are the best that happened to us and we love you more than anything!
With this , tears welled up in their eyes and A single tear rolled down his cheek. As the slides were over , the lights got turned on and he instantly called Daya to talk with his sons. Knowing the outcome , Daya kept the phone in his hand ready to receive it as soon as it rings. The phone ringed and he picked it up almost instantly with
'Dekha na dad Aapne us photo Mai ye boss Kitna bhukkhad hai! Isi ki wajah se Mai bhi bhool Gaya aapko call karna aur-' But before he could continue he was punched in the shoulder ... Hard! With
'Abe mote Kitna jhoot bolega? Dad aapko to pata hai na ye petu hi hai Jo hamesha Khana Khana Khana karta hai'
'Haww Mai petu Nahi fit hu samjhe jealous boss!!' Before abhi could reply they both heard
'Hey bhagwaan kahi bhi shuru ho jaate hai mere bacche. Jagah to Dekha Karo!
'We are sorry daida' They said together in their special sorry tone .
'Accha ab tumhari complaints ho gayi ho to Mai bata du maine tumhe maaf Kar Diya isbaar! Agli Baar aisa Kuch huva na to Mai vo treat wali photo salunkhe ko Dikha ke use acche se Yaad karwaunga ke Tumne kitne Ka bill phada tha us par' He warned them with a teasing tone.
'Kya dad aap bhi' both said rather embarrassed.
'Tum dono bhi bohot khaas ho mere liye mere pyaare baccho! Accha bohot Raat ho gai hai jaake so jao aur apna dhyaan rakhna' He said chuckling and in loving tone. They bid their good nights and cut the call.
Abhijeet's POV-
As soon as the call was cut , Daya immediately asked me
"Accha boss tumhe kaise maloom ke dad sabse pehle study Mai hi jayenge?"
"Accha? Jaise tumhe to maloom hi Nahi hai ki jab bhi humse naraaz hote hai dad to study Mai jaake baith jaate hai" I asked with raised eyebrow to which he sheepishly nodded with
"Accha thik hai ab sone chalo boss kitni baate karte ho tum! Dekha kitni Raat ho gai! Kal Hume ghoomne bhi to jaana hai"
"Ghoomne Nahi Daya investigation Karne!" I reminded him
"Ha yaani ghumenge bhi na Saath Mai! Chalo ab goodnight!" He said quickly and instantly went to sleep.
'Baccha hai bilkul' Thinking this I went to sleep switching off the lights.
Next morning we both wake up early and getting fresh we both locked the door. As we were about to start walking I saw the same girl I collided with yesterday coming our way. It looked like she was lost in her thoughts or maybe talking to herself. Shrugging my shoulder I started walking alongside Daya when she came right in front of us and...
Tarika's POV-
Getting back to my room I started my laptop and looked at all the recordings of the cameras installed.
*Flashback*
Tarika and Shreya are standing in the cabin when Shreya gives her few cameras an say
"Dekh taru vaise to mere informer ne bohot si jagah par cameras fit Kar diye hai already but still agar tujhe kahi koi aisi jagah dikhe jaha camera Hona Chahiye to ye rakh aur waha fit Kar dena"
"Accha thik hai... Aur inhe access Kaha se Karna hai? Mere laptop se hi na?" I asked to confirm
"Ha tere laptop se hi! Saari technical arrangements ishita ne Kar Di hai tujhe bas ye password daalna Hoga and boom tu Pura inn Dekh paayegi!" she explained everything to me.
*Flashback over*
Okay now let's check the recordings may be I find something suspicious or some info about the shadow person. While checking the recordings Of the day I came here, I found few things.
In the recording
As soon as the Bellboy Rohit came out Of the room He smiled and called someone , who probably ordered or said something to him as he was nodding in between. Rolling his eyes he finished the call and went away from there. Hmmm that's suspicious!
As I was checking the recording of the lobby I found the same two guys observing everything minutely just like... just like shree does! Though they were admiring the place their eyes said they were trying to find something. Checking today's recording I found the injured guy was so casual about his injuries Like it was a usual thing for him.
Hmmm they look suspicious. I think I will have to Keep track on them. They sounded sweet though maybe I can be friends with them and check if they are related to this or not. I will do that later ... first I have to call shree!
I dialed her number and she picked it up on the first ring itself. As usual.
'Ha taru kya hua? Koi problem hai kya? Mai-' she started even before I can say hello. As usual.
'Shant shant meri maa shant! Maine bas tujhe isliye phone Kiya hai kyuki mujhe ek bell boy pe doubt hai aur Mai chahti hu ke tu vo kya kehte hai tumhari style Mai ... Ha uski Puri kundli nikaale' I said imitating them.
'Ha ha samjh gayi jyada Yaha copy Karne ki zaroorat Nahi hai. Uska naam bata khali' she said with fake annoyance which made me giggle more.
'Mohit. Mohit naam hai uska accha chal I know tu busy thi chal baad Mai baat karte hai' I said knowing too well she won't ignore my phone calls even if she was talking with Acp sir.
''Accha Mai dekhti hu kon hai ye! Jaldi milte hai!' she said and cut the call.
Looking at the recording for some time I felt sleepy so I closed the laptop and just went to sleep.
*Next morning*
The first rays of sunlight lit up my room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in. I rubbed my bleary eyes and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky. The blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds that drifted lazily in the gentle breeze. The view outside was mesmerising compelling me to forget everything else around me for a few minutes. Though I wanted to continue looking at it , I had a mission on hand. So rushing inside the bathroom I freshened up wearing my black jeans and sky blue top with my grey heels. Checking my look once I went out in search for the two guys.
After searching for around half an hour I find them coming out of their room on the third floor. They couldn't see me as I was on the far end of the corridor. Taking a deep breath I started walking towards them.
'Walk. Collide. Fall! Walk collide fall! Walk collide fall! Walk collide faaa
As I was repeating my plan in my head I suddenly lose my balance and fell right in front of them with an ouch!
"Are you okay?" Both the guys instantly rushed to my side and picked me up.
"Yes yes I am totally fine!" I said with flushed cheeks. Damn tarika tujhe unse takra ke girna tha na ki unke exact samne! Pata nai kya sochenge mere baare mai ... Ki kaisi ladki hai ise to chalna bhi nai aata. Ugh plan kharab Kar Diya Yaar!
The continuous cursing in my head was stopped by a cough making me look at the handsome guy. Both were looking at me with an amusing smile making me realize something oh shit Maine ye zor se bol Diya shit shit shit!
"Uh ... Hi" I started with embarrassment...
"Hello myself Daya and he is Abhijeet" the injured guy introduced himself and the other guy with a chuckle.
"oh nice to meet you I am Tarika" I said still a bit embarrassed.
"To kya aap yaha ghumne aayi hai? The handsome guy ... Umm I mean Abhijeet said.
"Ha Mai aur meri dost Yaha ghumne aane wale the but use end time par boss ne rok liya so wo Kuch din baad aayegi... Tab tak Mai Kuch na Kuch karungi Yaha" I said with fake sad tone. They looked sweet so maybe they will ask me to join them ... Let's hope!
"Aap chahe to hamare Saath aa Sakti hai ... Hum aaj ghumne hi jaa rahe hai" Daya said with a sweet smile but it looked like Abhijeet was trying to stop him... Hmm who cares at least I can be with them and look at their activities.
"Oh thank you so much! I hope aapko koi pareshani na ho isme coz it will be very boring to roam around here alone..." I said looking at both of them.
"No-not it's completely fine ab Daya be aapko INVITE Kar hi liya hai to Saath Mai hi ghumte hai" Abhijeet said forcing on the word 'invite'. Hmm someone's not happy with me coming along ... This guy is getting more suspicious.
"Thank you Dayaji! To hum Kaha se shuru Karne Waale hai? Maine to abhi tak Kuch bhi nahi Dekha yaha!! Aap logo ne Kuch Dekha? Agar Dekha ho to-"
"Ab aap Bandh ... I mean shant Nahi hongi to hum jaayenge kese? Yahi shaam ho jaayegi na" Abhijeet cut me off in between. Huh he is a bit rude too?
As I was looking at him with a slight frown Daya interrupted our almost fight with
"Accha accha ab fight mat Karo Varna hum kahi ghum hi nai paayenge!
"Hum fight Nahi Kar rahe!" We both shouted together looking at him dead in the eyes. He gulped and turned away with
"Ha ha thik hai Mai hi ladh Raha tha tum Nahi chalo ab jaldi!"
Before walking down the stairs quickly he murmured 'huh dad raavan , Bhai khadoos boss aur ab dost Mili vo bhi daraane wali... Bhai Daya Teri kismat Mai sidhe-sadhe log hai hi nahi. '
Chuckling a bit , I followed him with a smile leaving a frowning Abhijeet behind.
