It started when he suddenly caught a high fever, almost like a flu. Everything out and inside of his body hurt, and there was nobody to care for him at that time.

He was simply an imported child caught in human trafficking by the group who called themselves as Fiyoru. He was trained to kill, to wield weapons and kill with no remorse.

That illness was the start of the weird dreams he had. At first, he saw them as dreams, then it escalated and the visions happen even when he was awake.

In those visions, he always saw his future, or the future of another him. He read some books and found out that what he was seeing were parallel worlds. The author CF wrote various hypothesis and theories of those said worlds and how it happened.

He always saw him battling a young boy with brown hair. A large explosion, then everything was black. That was all he could see back then.

But for the past few months, he saw different.

In his visions, he saw how the other soldiers sliced, hacked, and killed, the people inside the house of Fujimoto. They would win and they would take over what was left by the dead Fujimoto members. That would be the start of the Millefiore family, the beginning of his rise in power and how he would be chosen as the ring bearer of the millefiore.

The Fiyoru held a meeting saying that they would raid the Fujimoto household, their archnemesis as what those old men had called it . He had no qualms since this was the reason why he was trained.

He was to be at the top of this organization. The one to rule the future, and thus battle that brunette that kept appearing in his mind.

Yet in front of him was the Fujimoto heir who was supposed to be dead. He foresaw the death of this child. This spoiled heir was destined to die or that was how it was supposed to be.

They were defeated. They lost. Even though they had the advantage of numbers but the skill of the Fujimoto boss rendered them unable to close in.

Then before they even noticed it, Fujimoto Himiko and Ryougi Shunji had arrived as backup. People who were deemed as dangerous by those old men.

Fujimoto Himiko had inherited Fujimoto Masuki's skills in fighting with guns, whether it be ranged or a close one.

Ryougi Shunji was feared for his skills with daggers and knife and how he could kill a person with one stroke. Some say that he came from a clan of people who could see a person's death.

They were annihilated. He was lucky that he only received a few small wounds. He hid in fear as this wasn't the future that he saw.

He was captured and forced to kneel. It was wrong. Everything was different from how it was supposed to be. The other him had said that as long as he didn't do anything wrong, then there would be no obstacle hindering him.

If that's the case, then what did he do wrong for things to be like this?

"Why are you here, Byakuran?" Hikaru asked and caused Byakuran to feel unease. He felt restless, not knowing how to react towards this person he regarded as dead the moment he saw those visions.

Never has it occurred to him that he will meet the Fujimoto heir face-to-face. More so, even have a conversation with him.

But then he noticed something, the Fiyoru was a closed organization. No one can get information of their members, especially the names. The future him became quiet ever since the raid failed.

Byakuran was lost. The pressure of having death close. The gazes of the people behind Hikaru made him tremble in fear.

"You are not supposed to be here." They both said at the same time. The only difference was that Byakuran's voice was trembling.

The future that he thought was secure.

The future that he saw himself as powerful.

The future that everything was his.

The future that the current him saw...

... was nothing.

It took three months for everything to be settled. Masuki had sent Shunji, Himiko and a few of his men to Fiyoru's base for further cleanup. The rest were made to arrange the funeral of their deceased comrades, and removing the traces of battle from both the compound and the place where Hikaru was ambushed.

What Hikaru mostly did at those months was stay at home or attend the funeral. It seems like his grandfather had prohibited any visitors for the time being, and so, he only received reports from Li that the young master of Hibari household had been a bit unruly due to being unable to visit Hikaru.

Byakuran, on the other hand, was taken by Li saying that they needed him for information. Hikaru didn't want to cause unnecessary grudges and told Li to not use any torture devices to get information from the young Byakuran.

Li had looked at him weird and questioned how he knew something like devices used for torture, which Hikaru dodged by looking elsewhere and going back to being silent.

After those three months, it took another month for Hikaru to receive permission to meet with Byakuran. Unlike his previous appearance, the other was clean and didn't smell like blood anymore. He looked healthy and well-fed, it looks like they took care of him instead of having him captive.

The place was like any other room, one could see that it was easy if Byakuran would make a run for it. But Masuki had assigned Li to guard the captive child soldier, making it hard to escape.

"You sure you want to talk to that kid alone, young master?" Li asked. He came to know in those months that the child named Byakuran was weird. A different kind of weird from Hikaru. At most, he was like a delusional child asking questions about Hikaru.

Li had given him questions based on Masuki's instructions but got no answer from the child, but whenever Hikaru was mentioned, Byakuran would perk up in interest and start being talkative.

"Yes, I'll be okay." Li already knew Hikaru's prowess. For his age, he persevered in training and managed to subdue men twice his size.

Hikaru went inside the room. It was like any other room inside the house, and didn't look like a room for a captive person.

Once Byakuran saw the person who entered, he stopped fiddling with the tea set and stared straight at Hikaru.

The weather was starting to get a bit cold, so their people had set a kotatsu inside the room.

Instead of taking a seat parallel to Byakuran, Hikaru surprised the other by sitting down beside him. Hikaru made himself comfortable, feeling the heat and unconsciously releasing a soft sigh.

"You've been well." Hikaru said and turned ro look at a surprised Byakuran.

Once Hikaru's actions registered in Byakuran's head, he became flustered and panicked to see thay Hikaru was this relaxed and defenseless to him who was from a group of people that were planning on the masssacre of his family.

"You should sit... elsewhere..." Byakuran murmured scooting away from the close contact. Most physical touch he experienced were accompanied with pain so he felt uncomfortable by the sudden skinship.

"Did you meet him?" Hikaru asked candidly. Not minding how Byakuran would feel to ask such a bizzare question. It was up to the other if he would understand it or not, but by the expression of his face, he understood fully what Hikaru was asking.

"You... d..." Byakuran was used on getting headaches due to the other him forcing him to see the future. But this pain was different. It felt more constricting and physical.

"You were supposed to... die... H-How are you alive..." that was the future that Byakuran saw. The other members of the family would carry the corpse of the young Fujimoto. Some of the old men even removed the yellow-golden eyes of Masuki, Himiko, and Hikaru, and used them as a proof. Some kind of trophy to show that they won.

Yet right now, those same eyes were looking straight at him. Though stoic, it was full of life, as if blatantly showing him the answer to his confusion.

"So you saw the bad Byakuran first, huh..."

Hikaru knew that Byakuran existed in different parallel worlds, each branched from the original story. So it was to be expected to have different Byakuran's.

It might be luck or fate, but Hikaru was a bit relieved to see Byakuran this early instead of having to meet the future villain bad Byakuran.

The current Byakuran was surprised to hear what Hikaru said, skeptical that the other had the same ability or experience of seeing dreams of the future.

"Parallel worlds do exist here. It's either luck or bad luck that you happen to be the singular point. To think that Byakuran could see the future as a child is surprising by itself. But you really had a hard time. To think that you're dealing with that Byakuran. I'd rather you met the annoying but good one instead." At this point Hikaru was just rambling.

"Do you also see... well, um... the future.." Hikaru noticed that Byakuran was timid as a child. It makes one wonder what happened for him to be evil or so cheerful in the future.

"No." A blunt answer, but Byakuran can't back down until he figures out how Fujimoto Hikaru didn't die.

"Then... how?.."

At that moment; it might be the very first time, that Hikaru managed to let out a genuine smile due to joy despite meeting one of the key characters in this world. In his mind, he already planned on telling his origins to Byakuran since he was one of the characters who knew more than he let on. There was no downside on forging an alliance this early on, it also removes Byakuran from his list of people who threatens his existence. Additionally, Byakuran owes the Fujimoto clan his life. His survival and death depends on his grandfather's decision.

"Nice to meet you, Millefio-- no, Byakuran. I'm Fujimoto Hikaru, a reincarnated person."

Hikaru's words didn't register in the mind of Byakuran. It took a moment for him to process the statement, and when it did, Hikaru saw Byakuran's jaw drop in disbelief.

"As of now, you will be under the care of the Fujimoto."

That didn't help to ease the shock that Byakuran was experiencing.

A/N: Short chapter. But yeah, I just want to have the raid to have a conclusion.

Next chapter might be a timeskip. Idk, depends on my mood I guess.
